Can artificial intelligence replace human intuition?
Artificial intelligence (AI) has made significant advancements in processing and analyzing data, leading to impressive achievements in various fields. But completely replacing human intuition is still a contentious issue.
Artificial intelligence struggles to imitate human intuition because it is molded by a multitude of factors, including emotions, experiences, and contextual knowledge. Artificial intelligence (AI) is great at identifying patterns and making data-driven decisions, but it is not as sophisticated or emotionally intelligent as people.
AI can improve human intuition by offering information and insights that people might miss, enabling them to make more informed decisions. But it's difficult to recreate with AI the special human capacity to comprehend context, deduce meaning, and form opinions based on imperfect knowledge.
In conclusion, although it is unlikely that AI will completely replace human intuition anytime soon, it can supplement and enhance it. The greatest potential for improving decision-making and problem-solving skills is found in the combination of artificial intelligence with human intuition.

AI vs Human Intelligence: The Real Difference #neuroscience #sciencefath...
Artificial Intelligence (AI) and human intelligence differ fundamentally in their nature, capabilities, and functioning. AI, primarily built on algorithms and data processing, excels at pattern recognition, automation, and problem-solving in specific, structured tasks. It lacks consciousness, emotions, self-awareness, and the ability to understand context in the same way humans do. Human intelligence, on the other hand, is dynamic, adaptable, and deeply tied to emotions, creativity, and experiences. Humans can generalize knowledge across unrelated domains, something AI struggles with. While AI can outperform humans in data-driven tasks, it doesn’t possess true reasoning or empathy, which are hallmarks of human intelligence. #AI #MachineLearning #DeepLearning #NeuralNetworks #AIResearch #CognitiveScience #TechVsHumanity #AIandHumans #FutureOfAI #EthicsInAI #AIInnovation #AIUnderstanding #AIPhilosophy #AIConsciousness #ArtificialVsHuman _____________________________________________________________________________________________________

2030: 2 different scenarios. Presented by #futurist Gerd Leonhard: Twice Upon a Time (Creator's Cut) from Futurist Gerd Leonhard on Vimeo.
This is a 'creator's cut' of my film #twiceuponatime, more tighly edited and with some sound improvements using the fabulous @Descript
The original version is at youtu.be/BanqTNbTotU?si=HsHpKUOeJLIr_unr and twiceuponatime.tv and futuristgerd.com/sharing/twiceuponatime/
I am delighted to present my new film "Twice Upon a Time". This fast-moving and (imho) riveting film depicts two alternate #2030 scenarios: the lousy future and #thegoodfuture covering topics such as #climatechange and the challenges of exponential technological change (yes, my fav #techvshuman topics, as well), from both angles.
***NEW EDIT: Only the Good 2030:) youtu.be/d8dn9P6zNgw NEW: GERMAN DUB version youtu.be/TSlyHCMi9m8?si=C1qNHlNjIoxYxvDQ

How ChatGPT Kicked Off an A.I. Arms Race - The New York Times
But two months after its debut, ChatGPT has more than 30 million users and gets roughly five million visits a day, two people with knowledge of the figures said. That makes it one of the fastest-growing software products in memory. (Instagram, by contrast, took nearly a year to get its first 10 million users.)https://www.nytimes.com/2023/02/03/technology/chatgpt-openai-artificial-intelligence.htmlhttps://www.nytimes.com/2023/02/03/technology/chatgpt-openai-artificial-intelligence.html

Scultpure | Mechanical Belief
Medium: Clay, Acrylic Paint, Wax and Glass Cup
This is my first experiment with linking technology and society. I wanted to intergrate the belief of the future, intergrating technology and ai into one’s self. The sculpture includes several human eyes, a mechanical eye, and a human heart. Furthermore, I based the supture arround a clouded cup to symbolise how we are easily drowned and manipulated by technolgy in life. Plus, we “drink up” all our time using tech.
I am pleased with it, yet I am planning to further experiment with the same concept and materials, intergrating more technological aspects. Maybe even intergrating scraped mechanical parts from one computers and phones.

Good morning beautiful humans! Molly is working with me, she’s necessary moral support as my laptop is taking its last breaths, barely limping along. I’m getting a new (used) one tomorrow. Cant wait to work faster and more effectively. During these pandemic times, our dependence on tech is enormous. I resisted tech, and in many ways am still an advocate for unplugging and being analog, but now I’m dependent on it to teach, to do meetings, inventory my work, I am now plugged in. No turning back. Well, I do have some boundaries, Alexa is not welcome in our home, no voice activated devices. What are your tech boundaries? Do you have any? Do you find peace in analog? Do you find peace in tech? Have you made some compromises? #technology #nancyrodrigoart #techvshuman #pandemiclife (at South Slope, Brooklyn) https://www.instagram.com/p/CCbST0YFhqW/?igshid=ismb6tggoar4

Our blind love for technology has often been overshadowed by debate about its potential dangers. We are pushing the boundaries of what's possible in real – and virtual – worlds. We are pushing to leave our own world and explore new ones. Now is the time to talk about technology versus humanity. What's helpful? What's harmful? How do we find the balance – now and for the future? Tickets on sale now for Pivot 🎫 http://bit.ly/2AZi2f9 . . @pivotsummit posted on Instagram - http://bit.ly/2T93rVu

Triptych | Reality
Medium: Photography
The piece looks into our daily interaction with technology. The photos have a sense of confinement. It adds to a sense of being trapped, and escapism through technology. When keeping in mind framing, I wanted to make sure to not include the face. The viewers can control the figures identity.
Yes it looks into technologies influence, however it also focusses on infomanic behaviour. For this case, the infomanic behaviour is shown by the different objects. Since infomanic behaviour mainly highlights the excessive and addictive nature, it brings in trying to escape. Escaping from current issues and life. It as well highlights our current generations relationship with social media and technology in general.
For the words, they are obscured due to the nature of the piece. The words are written only on the arms, and it appears to trail up to the face. The words have a sense of virus/ infection. The words also have a violence behind them - which further falls into escaping. Also violence is a common connotation of ink on skin and skin as a canvas.
Words say : Conceded Reality
