General thoughts: I made this because I'm such a huge fucking nerd and love data/analytics. I'm not sure if this is interesting to anyone else, but I made it so I might as well share it. I find it interesting how for Amanda's pie chart I had no idea who would be 2nd/3rd due to overlooking Sarah Christ and Redacted. For Angela I knew full well Courtney and Damien would at least rank.

I have so many thoughts about Pantheon and the ending that I need to be put down like a rabid animal.

Why does Caspian assume that after SafeSurf leaves, Maddie will wipe his memory and “throw” him back into one of the simulations? He sounds so empty and defeated when he says it, as if he’s already accepted his fate. As if he believes there is no way to either permanently exist outside the simulation or that this older Maddie even wants him around. Both options are fucking heartbreaking.

I am unsure if Caspian understands she became a god because of her feelings for him, or maybe he does understand and believes she resents him for his hand in her deification.

There is also the option that Caspian does not believe he can permanently exist outside the simulation, which makes sense since the entire situation, including but not limited to being a literal clone, first death via uploading, second death via Holstrom, third death via virus, final resurrection?, and your girlfriend becoming god - must make your brain ache so hard that smashing it against a brick wall sounds almost therapeutic. However, head trauma aside, I cannot see Maddie Kim, creator of a literal Dyson sphere, as being willing to accept anything less than Caspian being able to fully integrate into her world outside the simulation. Reality and scientific laws be damned.

May I ask why you say the orange car is illegal? I see that around a lot and cannot tell if it's a joke or there is genuine speculation.

i think it’s 50% joke/feverish hope and 50% genuine speculation for most tbh. mostly bc the meteoric rise in mclaren’s development came out of the blue and it’s now a better car than even the rb19 seemingly (don’t quote me on that idk the math), with no perceivable disadvantages (monza is supposed to be one of their worst tracks) + some of the upgrades have seemed sketchy (the dagger front wing; this weekend it’s apparently a bendy/flexible front wing design that’s actually against regulations, which merc might be doing too)

when you pair that with distaste for mclaren in general and mclaren’s actual noted history with corporate espionage (against ferrari no less) and f1 fans’ tendency to decide too-good cars are illegal… clearly that mclaren is actually illegal!!!

Thinking about my Penrose prototype mynah and Elster again bc I wanna flesh them out more..

I think I at least have names for them right now!

MHNR 001 is called Kosmos! As a prototype mynah variant built for the Penrose mission the technicians that worked on her affectionately gave her the name. She’s your typical mynah persona but in a smaller frame (still bulky by other replika standards!) and also has some additional ship piloting knowledge uploaded into her memory. Her three primary tasks are to pilot the ship, to mark planets/asteroids/etc that have valuable resources for the nation, and to extract some of those resources.

Btw Her favorite plush (they let her bring some for stabilization! They don’t take up too much space!) is a dinosaur with a grumpy expression. It reminds her of her new Elster friend :]

LSTR 001 was dubbed “Dorredt” by Kosmos because according to the mynah calling her 001 was boring, and while trying to think of a name she misread a package and came up with Dorredt. Elster doesn’t care if it means Kosmos will stop bugging her about potential names. She’s your typical elster, quiet, serious, and maybe a little awkward! Her duties involve anything involving ship repair/maintenance and land survey. Her and Kosmos both tend to the Penrose ship’s garden but Dorredt is better at handling the plants due to her less clunky build.

Her favorite spot to be alone is the storage area, sometimes she just sits there and reads the labels on items for fun. There’s other things she could do too but not a lot was provided for her specifically..

A list of headcannons/actual canons in my AUs for digimon things

If in a universe like Adventure or Frontier where the kids are stuck in the digital world for a long time, then the kids will start to develop their own slight accents. They don’t really notice until they go back home and people think that they’re weird not only for acting like they haven’t seen each other in months, but also for talking weirdly

Unless digimon have preferred nicknames, then it’s seen as rude to refer to digimon by nicknames. Only partners and really close friends/family are allowed to shorten a digimon’s name

To add onto that, again in a series like adventure or frontier, the kids will usually start to refer to other humans by their full name out of habit if said human introduces themselves by their full name

When the digital world was young the Net Ocean and it were one in the same, however as time went on and the internet as we now know it developed, the digital world and the net ocean separated, connected by the Network (or whatever it was called in :2020) and the Real World and the Net Ocean are connected by the AR field

The digimon are native to the digital world while appmon are native to the net ocean. While digimon are made of data and their surroundings, making their evolutions more free, appmon are made by specific codes, making it harder for them to adapt, which is why they evolve through applinks with the right appmon

AI, digimon and appmon are pretty similar, but I think of it more like an actual evolution line, if that makes sense? All digimon and appmon are AI, but not all AI are digital monsters. Likewise, appmon are all digimon (digital monsters), but digimon are not all apps, if that makes sense.

Depending on the universe, the time difference between the digiworld and real one is set in stone pretty early into the digital world’s creation, however once the net ocean comes into play, it’s Timemon who controls the time ratio between worlds. Which is to say, one day it could be a year a second and the next it’s the exact same. He’s kinda quirky like that

Also the real world is actually called the analogue world, bc the digital world and net ocean are just as real as it is

General Thoughts: I knew he was shipped with Damien but I didn't know that ship had that many more fanfictions than his own wife. Also that is an insane amount of poly ships that I had no fun typing out. Most funniest thing though is you aka the reader being third. Honestly expected.

genuinely one of my fav things ot think abt wrt tadc is like. the technical side of things. like idrk a lot abt computer science but i know a little and also like sci fi so i can follow a little of it and its really cool to think abt. like to me? the reason why abstraction occurs is bc, in the circus, a person is effectively JUST their mind. the mind is in a computer and all the signals its got is being read and interpretted and thats what gets the player model and how the person percieves themself to be standing or smth. and then the computer just sorta puts them somwhere and goes from there. so then abstraction is those signals starting to get jumbled up and jumbled up until the computer cant read it anymore and it just... gives the person a mess of an avatar bc it cant interpret them any other way. and bc the persons mind is all mixed in w computer junk this process kinda... scatters them a bit? and the computer can only send signals to the mind and affect its perception, but once all the computer and the mind are too jumbled up the computer cant put it back together
