#i know technically we've seen clara before but this counts as a first episode#it's just really fun to see how they do like#the doctor introducing themself the companion seeing the tardis for the first time#the thigns we've seen a hundred times before#how they establish the dynamic#i just love watching good writers set up a story#like whatever happens to the story#whether it disappoints or not#goes where you expect or not#that first episode. or first chapter. or whatever#it's always still full of potential#even when the story that follows it is excellent#a blossom is pretty but it doesnt have the raw potential of a seed you know?#the amount of information you can put in a seed#i love seeing it done well

you know rand really was in trouble not because he burned a palace and its occupants out of the pattern or threatened to terrorise potential allies into submission but because he nearly balefired his dad.
#'each time we live we get to love again' really got to me okay#I've always been cheering his madness along because I like reading about men in agony I guess but you know something's Wrong when#he nearly goes full war criminal and balefires cities under seanchan control#that said I'm processing book 12 and my take away is probably that I'll take a long-ish break before diving it books 13 and 14#*into#partly because book 13 consists of a Lot of perrin POVs but also because book 12 was satisfying and I want to save the other 2 I guess#I complained a lot about book 12 (rightfully!!!) and I still feel brandon doesn't really understand rj's characters but:#1. he does really well with pay-offs (mostly) 2. he finally managed to pull through in the last 250 or so pages.#I'm still squinting and trying to figure out how I finished tgs in what technically counts as 3 days though. i’ve been getting back into yandere simulator lately since yanderedev recently released 1980s mode and the more i think about this game the weirder it gets. why is literally everything Besides the main story interesting
#my favorite characters in yansim are info chan fun girl and the journalist.#and all of those characters are pretty much completely unrelated to the main plot#besides info chan but even she isn't really like. involved with what you've got goin on. she gives you items and hates osana. that's it#it's hard to be invested in characters that are incredibly bland and uninteresting. which is what taro and ayano are#i do like some aspects about ayano at least and her backstory is. Neat?? but i don't know How yandev expects anyone to like taro#he said he plans to reveal more things about him as time goes on and that that will hopefully make him less bland#but right now i don't care for him#anyway unrelated to that Journalist My Beloved#yandere simulator#can't wait 2 be cancelled 4 liking yansim in 2021 /j#wait i have a favorite character who's technically related to the main plot actually. raibaru#except she's been my favorite since she was just an invincible placeholder so not even she counts#why was i more attached to the placeholder character than any of the main cast </3#brody.txt

just saw a post saying that skeppy is the most moral of the badlands and im literally just going to list everything he’s done on the server in chronological order as a counterargument
/rp /dsmp
- burnt tommy’s disc for shits n giggles
- killed dream’s dog, said it was them bonding, and then asked for tnt the moment dream told him to not start any wars
- hypocritically acted like a bitch to dream for being a control freak
- literally admitted to wanting control over the server a day later, rendering that comment void
- used spirit’s leather to get half of the power over the server, however he did say it rightfully belonged to dream
- he says that spirits leather rightfully belongs to dream yet still stubbornly asks for all the power on the server for it?? if this mf genuinely believed that he would just give dream the leather without hesitation
- gives bad tommy’s disc and then they plotted to manipulate tommy with it
- skeppy was completely on board with the idea of making a faction solely for causing chaos. him and bad literally conceptualized it together.
- literally threatened to “get the gun” the moment tommy stepped near the mansion when tommy hadn’t even done anything
- was gonna grief the eiffel tower for shits n giggles with tommy and etc. only switched sides because they wanted to frame bad for the griefing
- encouraged tommy to get vengeance???? (he literally says “we need to get revenge” but sapnap has never wronged skeppy??? wtf??????)
- ant literally betrayed the badlands by letting niki free when they held her hostage in the battle of the lake because he felt bad. skeppy has yet to actually do anything of the sort nor has he shown any remorse for anything similar??
- ant and sam said they felt like they were “defending the innocent” during manberg vs pogtopia and skeppy ignored said comment while bad brushed it off
- ant and sam talk about how they feel bad for their friends right after lmanberg blows up, skeppy interrupts out of nowhere and is like “yeahhhhh we technically won haha” and doesnt even care
- and then right after he is in vc with bad and says “hey bad do u wanna burn tommys disc so we can cause more problems” but then they dont but thats still a thing
- apparently isn’t emotionally there for bad and thats why discount skeppy is even a thing (egg-influenced puffys words, so we dont know how true this is)
- yells at puffy about the egg
- insults bads intelligence and says hes moody while yelling at puffy (bad was not in the conversation)
- “tests his sword out” on puffy (i.e. he hits her like 6 times and almost knocks her off his skywars map)
- forces bad to choose between him or the egg but he’s kinda extra about it (i.e. hes controlling and possessive)
- gets inside the egg for whatever reason (could be a sacrifice, but idk the obsidian part is just weird considering he knew what the obsidian would’ve done) and boom red skeppy
- red skeppy is not the same character as c!skeppy. this is proven by 3/2 bd island stream (they have completely different thoughts and actions and motivations)
- this is the weird one that idk what to do with but he calls bad a psycho for skipping doomsday for chaos purposes (in a pretty unsurprised tone and he doesn’t seem really... disgusted or shocked or anything???) but then right after he breaks the fourth wall and says he doesn’t really like the red skeppy / badlands stuff (im guessing this is just cc!skeppy not liking to do red skeppy lore which honestly... fair enough)
- but then like he eventually went to the mf graveyard to put a sign there that says “skeppy wins the war (doomsday) like always”
- liked bad’s suggestion of blowing up tommy’s hotel on a whim because of his skywars map being taken down (whilst dubiously infected? but the egg has never made skeppy violent so like???? idk???? (2/16 bd island))
- we dont know what happens in the final egg stream yet so i cant put anything there
- killed friend on accident, started apologizing, only for him to quickly switch to “you guys need to appreciate my trolls more” (although when this happened it was just cc!skeppy fucking up and not knowing what was going on, it’s still canon because c!skeppy later makes a direct reference to it)
- manipulates foolish for 22 minutes straight (and its still somehow my favorite dsmp stream) while also being the biggest fucking bad apologist to ever grace the earth holy shit
(this is still like the funniest thing ever i swear to god)
- speaking of friend, literally implies that he wants to kill one of foolish’s cats while also playing dumb while also making a joke about the fact that he had killed friend a week prior
- betrays foolish by completely going against their plan lollll (why did foolish even think trusting skeppy was a good idea????)
- bad asked him to help him kill foolish and he started chasing him down w/ bad without hesitation
- him and bad try to get the heads from dreamxd, skeppy gets a tommy head
- skeppy wants the bbh head, and he tries trading for it from foolish (when foosh had already given it to bad) but then logs off once he realizes he said that “i want badboyhalo’s head” because of bad’s chat.
extra things i dont know how to categorize:
- that one very dubious canon stream of quackity showing puffy, michael, bad and skeppy las nevadas, in which bad and skeppy literally jump quackity for no reason, claim mcpuffys as their land and rename it to mcskeppys, and attempt to steal some of quackitys shit which results in skeppy dying and leaving the stream. and then the moment skeppy dies all the chaos is gone
- that one stream where bad and skeppy played genshin and they started stream on the dsmp with the beetroots bit, and for whatever reason skeppy made a reference to bads canonical life system, saying smth along the lines of "wait if you punch me we'll both... yknow?" and then he just immediately switches the subject after that as if he didn't just casually mention dying??? u h

im so stuck on the hades boss fight, it’s been literally a hundred attempts already and i still haven’t cleared my first run yet. To truly complete the game i think i gotta complete ten more runs, and it will only get harder because at one point meg will fight you with her two fury sisters and i know i will get my ass kicked so far when it happens to me the first time. I believe the IGN journalist who reviewed the game cleared the first run in 30 attempts or something, and I think that’s normally the number of times it’d take for you to clear the first run. At this point, I may have to turn on God mode aka the easy mode in this game just so i can clear my first run, but you know what!! i have too much pride to do video games on easy mode, i may have the reflexivity of a turtle but i still have dignity. i think.
#it wasn’t even a hard boss fight i just suck (at dodging)#although i suppose you can say that about basically any soulslike boss fights. well. hades isn't a soulslike. but you know#HOW MANY TIMES MUST I FIGHT THESEUS JUST SO YOU CAN HAND MY ASS BACK TO ME FATHER#i'd call the child service except that WE DON'T HAVE ONE IN HELL#and also im technically grown up. even for a child of a god.#in the third attempt against hades i died after hacking off 40% of his SECOND health bar. and i never got that far again#it always goes like that. i did it exceedingly well on third or fourth attempt against a new boss and then got worse from there#I am now desperate enough to look up strategic videos on youtube#maybe i should get some titan blood and look into other weapons' upgrades#i REALLY wanted to clear the game with achilles' spear though. but his spear just isn't very good at this point in the game#im have been playing with aspect of nemesis on my sword stygius instead. but i dont think this one is it#i thought cursed slash with nemesis' sword is it but it wasn't it babes#apparently aspect of zeus is good? cause you can 100% dodge any attacks? but i don't wanna touch zeus' bullshit!!#mae overshares
