ID FUCKING LOVE THAT !!! I have my own nether doc too we can trade docs in the alley. I've mostly focused on magic systems and like- How Piglins Use the environment. Im Slowly Building It Up and im getting to a place I really like as I make like, in-world characters that are also archeologists researching stuff, so I can establish what We OOC know and what people in the world actually know.

Bc my worldbuilding takes place a few centuries after a war happened that left the Pretty Developed Civilizations of the Nether scattered and relegated to rebuilding villages. So its like. The ReDomestication of the Nether by it's residents in a way. Like the Crimson Nether Grass had been farmed into a version of overworld wheat, but since Shit Went Down, it escaped and is now a common thing to find everywhere outside of the nether- STRIDERS TOO theyre all semi-domesticated and it Shows. THERES SO MUCH TO TALK ABOUT!! IM DEVELOPING A PANTHEON!!! AAAAA!!!

HIII HII m curious if time travel in great blue has changed much more from what you have previously elaborated on or if you've added any more too it lately :] or of you just have fun facts!! I think it's really fun how you have a kind of scientific history of time travel in gb I always love hearing more about it hehe

OH BONUS QUESTION: were any animals ever used to test a specific facet of time travel laika style?? Like a forst gerbil to time travel kind of deal hehe, I can't remmeber if you ever mentioned anythibg like that ^^

hmm not so much changed as it has been added on to! i wish i could go into depth about wormholes and their relation to time travel in particular, but its a lot of spoilers for radio relay WAHHH… Still, theres other stuff! notably i have given a (maybe temporary) name to the timelines as a whole, being the time web. sometimes time webspace.. Recently, i have been thinking about it in an even bigger scheme of things. I think that the webs are limited to only their galaxy, though they connect at certain points where folks in the galaxies connect with each other. IE at the point in time where the milky way and andromeda galaxies collide, their time webs would connect!

Ive also been expanding on time levels/layers a little, in a similar sense to 4th and 5th dimensions. Time travel in GB is done in a way that the traveler temporarily enters another layer outside of linear time as we know it, and uses this to reach another point in time. This is pretty par for the course in time travel stories, but it feels good to arrive at it myself! In any case, the use of this higher level of time is key in radio relay although it doesnt make much of an appearance in the original great blue, since william and the crew dont know about it :] i love to think about discoveries that arise after such a long time of time traveling. This second layer is mostly uncharted even by the WIA and other time travel agencies, since its on a totally different level of physics they dont have the tools to measure it whatsoever, other than how to use it to get from one point in time to another.

THE ANIMAL QUESTION IS SO GOOD.. since the first time travelers were Andrea, William, and Captain and they were.. mostly… human, there wasnt really a need for animal tests! Because they proved that even with their less than ideal safety measures, they could withstand the physical effects. Although, andrea does have a little falcon DNA, so she kind of counts.!?

in no particular order, i have optare (warforged/android bard)(also the character in my pfp!!), sircis (tiefling beastmaster ranger), rosyrus (gorgon cleric), scarf (tabaxi rogue), and inias (aasimar beastmaster ranger) (is it obvious i like beastmasters)

...i apologize for the sheer word vomit below

most recently (campaign progress wise) is optare (name taken from the initial interest form my dm made which included a lone "option 1" selection), my warforged bard who is Definitely not inspired by hatsune miku. they are the silliest guy ever and are probably my most fleshed out character? what started as a silly goofy idea turned into my favorite character i've ever made/played!! originally, she only had a single sibling (a "sister unit" if u will) named coa (Course Of Action), but my dm threw out the idea of there being Another twin (or. triplet i guess) named mia (Missing In Action)! optare started as a mercenary-esque android (akin to raiden metal gear), but were sold off to become an idol <3

my very first dnd character was a tiefling beastmaster ranger named sircis, whose defining characteristic was that she had 5 intelligence. her partner was a panther named wakanda nonsense (it was Supposed to be a placeholder name but. it stuck) i played as her for two-ish different campaigns that never got finished so she will, for now, stay on the backburner (but i still love her soso much and she holds a special place in my heart)

rosyrus is the character i play in my newest campaign! i wanted to make the world's angstiest dude ever, which resulted in giving him the backstory of "accidentally turning his only friend-since-childhood to stone and becoming a cleric to save him". so far i've only had the one session as him but ohohooho im so excited to see what comes next

scarf i haven't gotten to play yet! he's the third of five siblings, and the only non-magic user in his family, so he's already riddled with familial angst >:) i have so many ideas for how i wanna go about playing him, but knowing me im gonna turn him from my intended "completely unbothered and kinda annoyed by everything" to "silly 4'10 cat" but we'll just have to see lmao

inias was for a week-long campaign i did with some friends while camping! the image of a 7'something dude being raised by wolves as his backstory was incredibly funny to me, so that's exactly what i ended up doing. his partner, a wolf named akira, is essentially his sibling/packmate who my dm kept targeting and making me stress out, but he did not die! he almost did. I nearly cried. inias is also the only character so far that was in a relationship prior to the beginning; he has a tiefling paladin husband named nephcis whose oath are their wedding vows :) (angel x demon relationships my beloved)
