I've been listening to Rob Zombie's Dragula since before I probably should have I can remember and only just today, the 18th of December in 2023, did I learn that the voice at the beginning of the song that says "superstition, fear, and jealousy" is Christopher fucking Lee from The City of the Dead (1959)
Nobody talk to me. Sorry. I should probably go to sleep.
But I'll probably stay up and watch more old horror movies.

Ingrid wanted to share something nostalgic and simple, The City of the Dead. It's not the scariest, but there's something that makes her feel sentimental, like being a kid wrapped up in a blanket watching Halloween movies in October.
Young college student Nan Barlow arrives in the sleepy Massachusetts town of Whitewood to research witchcraft. I think you can guess what she finds there.
If you prefer, you can even watch it with RiffTrax!
