I never understood the animosity towards Oriana from Jude POV. Yes, Oriana was a nagger but she was a (rightfully) concerned adult. Madoc raised Jude to his image and might have spent more time with her, but Oriana is the one being helpful in times of need if Jude took the help. . . : (and who didn't stab her)

Imagine Cardan finding out about the unsuccessful delivery of his letters to Jude because of his mother. I have a couple of options, so stay with me:
