Hi! Sorry everyone I knew I said I’d be updating more but………I didn’t? IT WASN’T MY FAULT THO……okay it totally was. I just wasn’t really motivated and I didn’t want to start something and it be half assed that really didn’t seem fair.

I still might be a little lacking on my posts because I haven’t really gotten out of that slump where everything seems like trash, so here are a few of the ideas I had for the future

Some more one shots of Spider learning to deal with only having one arm EG, learning to climb again and do basic things a little differently

Spider defiantly gets a prosthetic and has to adjust to that but our boy is still a determined little bean (maybe some futuristic thingy)

Quaritch tries not to have a heart attack every time his one armed demon son gets into new trouble and Jake tries to avoid a migraine because Lo’ak and Spider are all kinds of awful together (Lopez Lyle Mansk & Tsu’tey definitely make fun)

We’re probably getting some Lopez / Tsu’tey… I know it’s weird & doesn’t make sense…I don’t care.. I got it into my head a while ago and now I’m attached 😤 I will make it work! Or I won’t and I’ll still do it anyway✨

I feel like Mansk becomes the silent uncle, they fear him at first but all the younger children absolutely love him - once the 3Coms get settled & have been around for a few years he is definitely a babysitter. (More like climbing frame)

I don’t think Quaritch would let spider get taken..or if he did he wouldn’t be taken for long

Quaritch Lyle & Spider go with the Sullys - thinking of making it like a multi chapter thing, like the blood of children.

Oh yeah, it’s also very much Quaritch / Lyle & trying to parent Spider who totally uses them against each other

You cannot tell me Spider would not torment Ao’nung - my boy has years of practice with his jarhead uncles (mainly Lopez and Lyle)

Tuk and Spider are still very close (once she’s born ofc)

new idea: After Civil War, Natasha stays in Stark Tower with Tony. After she finds out that Spider-Man is a 15 yo after the homecoming incident, she and Tony kinda Co parent Peter. They kinda act like superhero godparents or something. Nat insists on giving Peter knives and training him, and Tony gives him PR advice and a science internship. After Aunt May finds out Peter is Spider-Man, Nat shamelessly flirts with her.

Thank god for spider noir being in beyond the spiderverse because Peter b is going to need another adult to help out with his 6 kids. Especially since he’s going to have Gwen “I would break all rules just to see my favorite people in the world” Stacy, Hobie “Major InstigatorTM” Brown, Miles “I’m gonna do my own thing and it’s going to be chaotic and crazy” Morales, Pavitr “I am ready to go along with the ride so long as it’s against colonizers” Prabahakar, and Peter “I operate on cartoon logic” Porker all in one single group.

Pairing: Spiderverse!Hobie Brown | Spider-Punk x Reader

Word Count: 462 words

Warnings: None

Hobie thinks he’s being funny when he hangs upside down with his feet flat on the ceiling, arms crossed and gaze expectant as you turn around and drop your toast at the sudden sight of him.

“That’s not funny,” you insist with a huff, bending down to pick your breakfast up. Five second rule – “What, is the floor too dirty for you?”

“Something like that,” Hobie replies, his face a deceptively blank slate.

You stick your tongue out at him. “Weirdo.”

“Social conformity is a prison.”

You stare at him as you eat your toast in quick, large bites, licking the crumbs and butter from your lips when you finish. He waits patiently, only raising an eyebrow when you take your second piece of toast out of the toaster and wave it at him.

“Want it?” you ask.

“Not particularly,” Hobie says. “Thinkin’ of having something else.”

“Oh? What?”

“I’ll tell you, but you have to come closer.” He untucks one hand to beckon you towards him.

Now it is your turn to raise an eyebrow. You draw closer, slowly, a warm thrill shooting up your spine as one corner of his pretty mouth tugs up (or is it down?).

When you’re about a foot away, you stop.

“This close enough?”

He hums thoughtfully. “Not quite.”

You shuffle nearer still. Six inches.

“Is it upside down coffee?”

“You’re half right.”

“Which half did I get wrong?”

Two inches. You can feel his breath on your lips.

“The coffee part,” Hobie says, before he closes the gap.

Your eyes slide shut as he kisses you, mouths soft against each other as he reaches down to cradle your face. You lift your free hand to trace your thumb down his jaw and over his cheekbone. He hums, a raspy, appreciative sound.

When the two of you part, he grins and pecks your lips. “Right, then,” he murmurs. “I’m all set.”

“You really should eat an actual breakfast,” you say, trying your hardest not to swoon. Your cheeks are hot and you scarf down your toast to distract yourself from it.

Hobie unsticks himself from the ceiling and somehow lands on his feet, then immediately goes to wrap his arms around you and rest his chin on your shoulder. “Toast is good, innit?”

“Oh, now you want some.”

As he shamelessly grabs a slice of bread and sticks it in the toaster, you lean against the counter and watch. Even here, casual and domestic, Hobie Brown is beautiful.

It’s only a few seconds before his eyes meet yours again. You bite the inside of your cheek, and he shoves his hands into his pockets.

“Want me on the ceiling again?” he questions.

“No.” Your hands snake their way around his waist. “Right here will do.”
