Thom Artway - Can't Wait

Thom Artway is back with a stunning new track, ‘Can´t Wait’. Already one of the most acclaimed young musicians on the Czech music scene, the super-talented Thom Artway third international release is taken from his upcoming sophomore album, ‘All I Know’, due for release this Spring. 

In the Summer of 2018, Artway took off for several weeks to Italy to busk and shoot a music video for the track, Can’t Wait. He travelled from one Italian town to another and played on the streets. “The main location was the coast of Cinque Terre on the Italian Riviera, which is a group of five picturesque villages and it is really beautiful.” says Thom, adding: “This place has a great seaside atmosphere, people are friendly and it was fun to shoot here.” It was directed and filmed by the director, Ondřej Urbanec, who also did the post-production. The result is a video full of sun capturing the smell of Italian sea and countryside. Travelling around Italy, Thom came back to his musical beginnings busking around various European and world cities.

Can’t Wait is a cheerful and dynamic track floating on the edge of indie pop and indie rock. Produced by Thom’s main producer, Lukáš Chromek, the recording is off the new album, All I Know. The fictional story is about a young man who invites a girl to a concert of her favorite band and then faces the uncertainty of whether the girl actually comes or not. The optimistic melody of the song suggests that everything goes well in the end. (press release)

Třetí ročník výstavy Auta na náplavce, který pořádá časopis Svět motorů z mediálního domu Czech News Center, doslova klepe na dveře. Vše vypukne u Vltavy v Praze už ve čtvrtek 29. srpna v 16.00 odpoledne. Kromě vozidel 28 různých značek se mohou návštěvníci těšit i na bohatý doprovodný program v čele s trojicí hlavních koncertů kapel Mirai, Thom Artway a Mandrage.

Po čtyři dny až do nedělního večera 1. září budou oba vltavské břehy mezi Železničním a Palackého mostem patřit v první řadě automobilům. K vidění budou vozy 28 značek, přičemž největší pozornost si zaslouží deset výstavních českých premiér. Jde o modely Hyundai Ioniq a Nexo, Kia Xceed, Mitsubishi ASX a L200, Opel Zafira O Team R, Peugeot 208, Renault Clio, Škoda Kamiq a Volkswagen Grand California.

„Jsme rádi, že se nám daří rok od roku zvyšovat počet vystavujících automobilek. Bereme to jako důkaz toho, že se Auta na náplavce stávají již pražskou tradicí,“ řekl šéfredaktor Světa motorů Zbyšek Pechr. Výstavu plechových krasavců doplní i skvělý kulturní program. Vše začne ve čtvrtek ve 20.00 na hlavním pódiu na Smíchovské náplavce, kde zahraje skupina Mirai. V pátek se můžete těšit na autogramiádu skupiny Chinaski nebo vystoupení finalistek soutěže Česká Miss a koncert Thoma Artwaye. Po oba první dny mají návštěvníci také exkluzivní možnost zúčastnit se prohlídek pražských náplavek a nově zrekonstruovaných kobek.

Sobotnímu programu bude dominovat přítomnost členů fotbalové reprezentace v čele s trenérem Jaroslavem Šilhavým. Na náplavku se také chystají legendární sparťanský kanonýr Horst Siegl s moderátorem Petrem Svěceným, kteří s sebou přinesou originální pohár pro vítěze FORTUNA:LIGY, s nímž se budou moci návštěvníci vyfotit. Sobotní program uzavře koncert kapely Mandrage.

V neděli se na náplavce dostane i na besedy o bezpečnosti silničního provozu a chytrých autech. Po celou dobu trvání akce bude zajištěn bezplatný přívoz mezi oběma břehy, přičemž zdarma je i vstup na samotnou výstavu včetně všech koncertů. Na smíchovské straně v parku nad hlavním pódiem bude premiérově postaven dětský koutek s řadou atrakcí. V pátek a sobotu se výstava otvírá v 10.00 a konec je ve 22.00 hodin. V neděli je začátek stejný, ale končí se už v 18.30.
