by now, jupiter was comfortable enough with the renegade house that she let herself in. the door was usually unlocked, at least one or two faces around for her to greet on her way to gage's room. she knew this house better than her own, navigating the hallways and nooks and crannies like some sort of expert explorer, and nobody ever said a word. it made her feel accomplished, even if her behavior could be considered rude.

"hi gagey," she greeted, pushing herself into his room and only half-closing the door behind her. jupiter wasn't shy about plopping down onto her best friend's bed, her legs tucking beneath her so she was sitting on her ankles. "hope i'm not interrupting anything; foster was boring me with his woe is me crap, but you're always welcome to tell me to leave."

"I'm home," Gage called out as soon as he fell into the couch, letting out a deep sigh. He had spent the night at the Page house, and he hadn't really bothered to tell anyone when he would be home (though he knew better than to not at least tell Yale he was sleeping somewhere else.) "Foster was asking if you guys had any upcoming tours because he's sick of me drinking the last of the milk. I think only you guys think I'm cute anymore," his head popped up over the back of the couch. "So, seems like we found dad a girlfriend. Is Jace up next, or it's only important that you and Jimbo have someone?"

"Guess what I've got?" To hell with knocking at this point. Brooke simply let herself into Gage's apartment, basket in hand - full of all the necessary, sleepover essentials. Blanket, stack of movies, licorice whips (her favorite) and face masks. Assuming she could convince him to do the last one with her.

He could say it was a girl thing but taking care of one's own skin should be a universal concept, and not exclusive to one sex. "They may sound daunting but trust me, they're soooooo relaxing." Without further ado or letting the suspense drag on for too long, Brooke pulls out her favorite brand of face masks and waves them in front of Gage's face like he's a kid she's attempting to bribe with candy. The anxiety thrumming through him leaves Gage apprehensive to even look her way, laying on his back even though he has always slept on his right side. If he turns, though, he will be facing her, and this situation is already uncomfortable and wreaking havoc on his nerves. His hands are drawn together in front of him, perched on his stomach. There's no way that he's going to be able to fall asleep with his thoughts spiraling like this. Curling his bottom lip into his mouth, he punctures the silence that has settled in the room, "Hey..." He calls out quietly through the darkness. "Are you still awake?"

Gage liked salty and savory, sometimes sweet but he wasn’t one for cakes or mousse or anything that needed a fork give him a good chocolate bar and he was happy. Hearing that she was going to ask something, his ears perked."Yeah, of course you can. You don’t even have to ask." His voice was soft and comforting, it was clear that she was safe with him. "That's not weird at all." Nudging his head, he led her to the cash register so he could check out their stuff.

She hid Naomi's secret from him, and slept with her boyfriend (if they could even call him that) anyway. "Stop." The pressure she applied to stop some of his wounds increased along with her warning. "I don't want to talk about it. Or hear any of your excuses. It's not going to make it better. And I'm not going to forgive you." Therefore, there was really no point in rehashing it. That doesn't mean she'd leave him hurt. Naomi was pissed off and upset he screwed her over but she wasn't cruel. "Besides, you can't take it back. It happened. It's done."

stiff as a board, that's what he's aiming for, besides in the one area where gage is vehemently hoping that he's not sporting wood. the task is becoming impossibly harder as their hair tickles against his nose and he fights the urge to sneeze. he fears that any sound or sudden movement will wake up his companion, and he is wanting to hold off the awkward morning greeting for as long as possible.
