despite his job, andrew was still clumsy in nature so when he tripped over his shoelaces he didn't notice were untied, he fell face first onto the pavement. springing up almost as quickly as as he fell, he brushed himself off and looked around, locking eyes with someone. "you saw that didn't you?"

andrew grinned as he stepped into the hospital to bring dinner to vincent, his arms full with flowers and a small care package along with the chicken pasta he'd cooked. this wasn't the first time he'd brought a meal up to the hospital for vincent, and it wouldn't be the last time, so he was a slightly familiar face to the rest of the staff and they let him pass through to the staff room on the floor. the vampire sent a text letting his husband know he'd arrived before getting their dinner set out. "ah~! there you are my darling!" andrew smiled at seeing his husband "these are for you dear." he said, holding out the boquet.

"Just a few broken ribs and some cuts and bruises. I'm okay," she said, wrapping her arms tightly around him. "I called the station and Andy's on a call. Gibson said he'll let her know to come by once she's back." Amelia just held onto Andrew, even though it hurt with the broken bones. "There's... something else," she added, the hesitation in her voice clear.

he wasn't used to seeing so many vampires lately. normally, andrew stayed away from other vampires and blended in with the humans. so being around this many vampires was strange for him, but at least they weren't messy with their kills... if they were even killing their meals. andrew didn't feel like cleaning up after baby vamps again. so looking down at the body and then looking back up at the vampire with blood on their chin, andrew couldn't help but sigh "really? did you have to do that here?"

I HAVE AN UNHINGED THEORY!!

What if... what if Andrew was Jeremy's brother at some point?? Okay, I know this sounds crazy and might imply that probably Jeremy's dad that we don't know about it's in fact a bad person BUT STAY WITH ME IN THIS.

Andrew lived in 12 homes in California before Cass (non of them good, btw) and we all know that Andrew was little when he did ended up with the Spears. Now, he has an eidetic memory, so he can recall this from those years, but no normal personnin their twenties would remember vividly everything that happened when they had idk 10.

Following this, remember that Jeremy is at least 2 years older than Andrew.

Jeremy does not mention once his dad's name nor his surname (thing that you may see I'm obsessed with) but we know it wasn't Knox. But why? Why would you not mention you father or think about him once specially when you have clear daddy issues sorrounding your step-father??

Unless he was a bad person. Unless his name not only brings back bad memories but it's forbidden because of something he did to the whole family.

Then we have all the issue with his brother that it's mentioned weirdly. For the sake of this theory imagine little Jeremy so very happy that he finally had a little brother to pass time with because your parents are fostering this kid that had obviously had a rough life but never gave up but then something happened and you are not sure of what because you are a kid too but the next thing you know is that your new baby brother is gone (as well as your dreams of playing and teaching him) and your father's name is a bad word.

He would still considered him his brother but because all of this Andrew (or "the blonde quiet kid he barely remembers") is not mentioned often to people when Jeremy talks about his family, but it would make sense that his best friends know about it.

Also Jeremy goes to therapy and he sure had a lot of other stuff going on as people normally have, but the girls mentioned that a GOOD therapist can change a person A LOT. And if that therapist had to deal with all this trauma is fair to think that maybe Jeremy reacted badly to this sudden change and how the rest of the family could start again as if nothing happened when they became Knox.

Andrew probably remembers Jeremy, but we don't know because he didn't talk about this with Neil at least during the books, but he maybe talked to Betsy before they had to play the Trojans.

And I know this is something hanging by a literal thread but in a way I want to think that Jeremy and Andrew had a bond of some sort and that is something that affects both of them to this day, so yeah.

Andy lay on the bed in the firehouse, her body still aching from the assault, though Carina's presence had offered some comfort. The bruises on her arms were still tender, and the weight of what had happened felt like a heavy blanket over her chest. She kept replaying the incident in her mind—everything had happened so quickly, and yet, in a way, it felt like she had been in that moment for hours. The kind of moment that would stick with her, the kind that changed something inside you.

Her eyes flicked toward the door, wondering if Carina had stepped out to make the calls. She could feel the familiar mix of dread and gratitude gnawing at her, knowing Andrew and Amelia were on their way. Carina had insisted on reaching out to them, and part of Andy was glad—she wanted them to know. But there was also a small, lingering fear that they'd look at her differently now. That they'd see her as something broken, a victim, when she'd spent so much of her life fighting to not be seen that way.

She let out a shaky breath and pulled the blanket tighter around herself. She hated feeling vulnerable, but in this moment, she didn't have the strength to hold it all together. Andy closed her eyes, wishing she could just sleep through this. It was only a matter of time before Andrew and Amelia would walk through that door. Would they be angry? Would they ask her why she hadn't said something sooner? She didn't know, but she knew one thing—whatever happened, she wouldn't be facing it alone. Not anymore.

Her fingers tightened around the fabric of the blanket, and she took another deep breath, willing herself to hold it together just a little longer.

Waking up at three in the morning with chills was not what she wanted. She had chills, aches, and she knew what she needed. Unfortunately for Amelia, she had Andy on her left, and Andrew on her right, both of them with an arm draped over her body. She needed drugs. She was feeling it hard. She knew she had to just bite the bullet and get up, because she couldn't sleep like this. She couldn't wait until the morning. She forced their arms off of her as gently as she could despite the irritation she felt, and got out of bed. Thankfully it was her apartment. She tossed on a thin robe to cover her naked body, and went out to the living room, kneeling at the coffee table. She reached under the couch for a mirror and a blade, and felt around the underside of the table where the baggie of already powdered oxy was taped. Within a few minutes, she'd gotten her oxy into thin lines. She'd only managed to snort one of them when she glanced up, spotting her partners standing there watching her. @onismstrikes @northernattude
