So tell me how you and your f/o would first meet online?

Do you think Ralsei is a suit or a dress kind of guy. I say he looks great in both, but what do you think? and why? Also, do you watch anime, if so which ones are your favs. And why?

I think Ralsei would rock whatever he wants to wear, personally. He's doing great so far in the doctor outfit, the butler outfit and the mafia one, so I'm looking forward to more! He could definitely do a nice dress, too...honestly probably better than Susie could! I don't know that I have a preference for it either way.

I used to watch anime a whole lot when I was in college, but only poke at it occasionally nowadays. I did watch Dungeon Meshi recently, and it was as good as everyone says! I want mooore! I also quite enjoyed Odd Taxi and Cells At Work. For much older series from college days, I have great fondness for Serial Experiments Lain, Excel Saga, Escaflowne, Generator Gawl, Wolf's Rain and Silent Mobius.

i guess this has been a long time coming, but i figured i’d make an official post about it. i’d like to announce that i’m officially leaving the rotumblr community.

there are quite a few reasons i’ve come to this decision. but i’m not trying to bore everyone to tears, so i’ll keep it short. i’ve been involved in this community for a long while. well over a year, and as time went on writing on here became less and less fun. i kept going for a long while even after i was sick of it, but to make a long story short, i’m tired. i’m not obligated to continue existing in this space. i’m an adult, i have many things to worry about, and my interests have expanded beyond pokemon. i simply don’t have it in me to continue.

that said, i will always cherish the memories i made here. met a lot of great people, made a lot of friends, had a lot of fun. but it’s time to move on with my life. thanks for everything, rotumblr community. and goodnight.

Sometimes I look at this, which doesn't even take into account my early works that I never bothered moving over, my shorter stuff I only posted to my social media, or the fact that several of these are multiple short fics posted as chapters, and I'm just so blown away by the fact that I've spent fifteen years and 150+ fics doing this and people are still coming back to hear what I have to say about random configurations of fictional queers

The hour was indecent, but that was hardly a deterrent - he found the quiet preferable. Usually, he'd take this time to work while the rest of the castle rot in their beds. But tonight was different - a little more indulgent. The firelight flickered, casting long, shifting shadows along the stone walls of Snape's office as it slowly dwindled. A bottle of good Firewhisky sat between them, the only witness to this unlikely moment of, ugh camaraderie. Snape took a measured sip from his own glass, expression unreadable.

"If only ignorance were a punishable offence. Although I am curious." he drawled, the barest hint of amusement in his baritone, warmed by the alcohol.

"Is Mercury being in retrograde ever a passable excuse for students from not turning in assignments?"

The corner of his mouth twitched - only for a moment, barely there at all. He leaned back in his chair, letting the familiar warmth of the whisky settle in his chest. The day had been insufferably long, and yet, against all odds, this was tolerable. Sinistra was one of the few people who could sit in his presence without grating on his nerves.

What was his excuse for drinking tonight? It certainly wasn't the first-years finally breaking him. Perhaps it was the seventh-years. Perhaps it was everything. He was running out of the small, private victories that made it almost worthwhile.

truly one of my all time favorite character dynamics is Established Relationship not necessarily in a romantic sense but just characters who Know Each Other they know each other's habits and preferences and how they think bc they have spent years learning each other intentionally or not and I especially like it when this means they work really well as a team regardless of bickering or fighting or animosity bc they just Know Them ok it's about the familiarity and shared history that you only get glimpses of

It was a pattern you knew from somewhere—cards arranged into a rough cross, with another line of cards beside it. Damn it, I know this one, come on brain. You just needed a nudge, something to stir your brain into remembering. “Also she has a ton of glass jars—you have no idea, like… so many jars, man. But I swear, no one bakes bread like her. That stuff’s magic.” Wait a second. Now you knew where you’d seen that card pattern.
