I just wanna say that Tiffany Grandma was racist against Chucky. She’s a very old traditional Chinese woman, so it was much to her disappointment when she found out Tiffany dated and MARRIED a white German man. Chucky would’ve done something but if he’s being honest Tiffany’s grandma scares him and she’s STILL alive. And Chucky already killed Tiffs mother and sister the least he could do was let her grandma live…but GOD…She judges every little thing he does and it freaks him out.

Imagine trying to explain Chucky lore to someone who’s never seen it. There’s so much and it’s like “so yeah this serial killer put his soul into a doll so he didn’t get shot, and has had beef with a dude for decades who was six when he met him, oh and the doll has a wife, who is human, then was temporarily a doll, then started living as human again in the body of her celebrity crush while he stayed a doll, then the doll goes back to start beef with a woman who he paralyzed as a baby and puts part of his soul into her body too, but then his wife falls in love with her so she held her hostage, now he’s starting beef with some teenagers who didn’t do anything and now he’s old and tried to launch a missile to the North Pole from the White House then withered away into dust and became a ghost, and he’s STILL not satisfied with his killings and also he has a kid who’s a doll too”

Tiffany Ann is the newst recruit of the Special Forces. She decided to join them as ‘program’ to make the bonds between the Lin Kuei and the Special Forces more stronger, and get a little experience with the modern technology and etc, Also, She got bored with living in the Lin Kuei clan, unlike her siblings, who dedicated their lives to serve their Grandmaster and Grandmistress, She doesn’t want to be a Lin Kuei, she wants to be something else. She didn’t tell any of her family of course, even Selviya, her own mother.

He’s friends with Bea, and he’s the destined prince of a kingdom inside of Candyland. He kinda sorta maybe has a crush on Bea and he’s very obvious about it, but Bea is INCREDIBLY dense when it comes to that sort of stuff so home girl thinks he’s trying to mess with her LMSOANSUNSJ

Ok, so if the choice behind Alki's name was mainly due to the phonetic association with Hades (does this apply to his surname as well?), what about Fani (and her surname)?

Besides the phonetic and/or etymological associations, I always try to pick names that are plausible for a chosen historical or geographical setting. To my knowledge Rum families, especially affluent ones around the 19th century, leaned towards more nostalgic name choices from mythology and antiquity, and Alkiviades fits that bill nicely if you consider his self-important parents. In addition, Alki has an equally long last name, Karakasoglou - it doesn't get much more Ottoman than that, and it translates to "son of the black-browed one". Which, hands down, is pretty goth.

Faní is acoustically derivative of Persephone → Περφε-φόνη → Φανή. Pretty on the nose, though I also like the association with the Christian festivity of Theophany and how it shares roots with Greek terms for revelation, apparition, or light. Her last name is my own grandfather's first name (which in turn translates to "saviour") plus a grammatical affix traditionally seen in Greek family names from Asia Minor. It also alludes to the fact that Jesus Christ is just Persephone ordered from Wish.

My friend hasn't watch any but sent me a video of two dudes talking about Chucky's son who's bisexual and that started the rambling

Cause Glenn is genderfluid not bisexual wtf how do you mistake a sexual orientation with gender identity?!?!

And that was established in the 2004 movie which later on was referenced in the 2021 show (which I haven't watched but I will I promise lol)

sleepover saturday(/sunday)! how would you make a discworld character of choice as a dnd character? :))

confession time: I read the Tiffany aching books as they were coming out and have not read a discworld book since. While I’ve enjoyed reading one romance novel every 2-3 months I’m hoping meds will mean I can read complicated books again and I can finally go through the discworld books as I’ve been meaning to for years at this point. that being said I’m not sure how I would go about it but making a discworld witch would be very fun bc I love characters who shake out weirdly powerful & deeply sensible

I do think its funny that the comics keep insisting that Kirsty Cotton is a mother figure to Tiffany even though if you’ve seen the movies you KNOW they are almost the same age. I even checked imdb bc i thought i was going insane but the actress who played Tiffany in Hellbound: Hellraiser II was 17 while Ashley Laurence was 22. It suggests to me that 1) Tiffany was written to be much younger than the actress who was cast and Clive Barker is still pissed about it and 2) none of the writers noticed or cared about the queer dimension of their relationship

It's been like a whole ass couple months since they showed up, but if you're wondering what Ivy & Tiffanie are to be doing for the Starlight Festival(aka Christmas & New Years), it will be taking place after the events of the Void Exploration. So a few things:

Tiffanie would of had separated herself from Diabolos finally after years of being a part of him, so will be in recovery.

They will probably not be in Ishgard as per such. Though of course, Aymeric would undoubtably put Ishgard's best healers to care for her, it would have been decided that it be best for Tiffanie to recover away from home, thus away from Evault & away from work. The sister will likely be staying in Radz-at-Han until further notice.

Also as per such, Vrtra has, of course, welcomed Ivy & Tiffanie to invite whomever they please to his Isle, so they may feel more comfortable while they rest. All while the isles best healers & alchemists tend to Tiffanie.

Estinien is here, of course, as well as the Scions. We already know Haurchefant will go anywhere Ivy will go if he can, so he's there. Aymeric is more then likely going to be there too, even Jean drops by frequently. Vacations & trips are one thing, but hearing of one of the Quenderlain's being critically injured is another. Everyone just sort of sprung up to see Tiffanie & be sure she is okay.

So, it's shaping up likely that Starlight this year will be celebrated away from home & at Thavnair. That's fine by Ivy & Tiffanie, as it lets them dodge some of the closest nights of the year for Coerthas, & home is where their family is, not location.

Talked about how/why CaterpillarOS was built, now it's time for how it arrived in Wonderland!

With CaterpillarOS in Genesis’ files, it did not take long for Glitch to find them. She extracted them and edited Caterpillar’s code so it would follow her commands, using it in one of her many plots to kill False Moon. Vee, of course, sought to put a stop to her plan. With the help of Elliott, she banished CaterpillarOS to another dimension. Unfortunately, Vee also accidentally sent False Moon, Glitch, and Macbeth to the same dimension (Wonderland, if you couldn’t guess). 

This kickstarts the Tamagotchi AU, aka the crossover between Phantasmagoria & StoryBook City. It’s a very small crossover, with just the FM & Wonderland Gang meeting, but it’s just the start. Give it some time, let it cook, etc.

Anyway, Glitch of course tries to continue her overarching plan of killing FM, still using CaterpillarOS until Wonderland’s magic gives it some sort of sentience and it helps both groups defeat Glitch & Macbeth for the time being. After that whole ordeal is done, there is some…debate on what to do with CaterpillarOS. FM lowkey doesn’t want to take it back with them on account of it almost killing them. The WG wasn’t too keen on it, either, due to it being an unknown mess of technology. But, CaterpillarOS chimes in and says that it’s fine staying in Wonderland and promises to only help the Wonderlandians. After Cyber checked CaterpillarOS’ code to make sure there was little to no chance of it going rogue, they showed Phineas how to maintain the now giant caterpillar robot and left with FM.
