Talked about how/why CaterpillarOS was built, now it's time for how it arrived in Wonderland!

With CaterpillarOS in Genesis’ files, it did not take long for Glitch to find them. She extracted them and edited Caterpillar’s code so it would follow her commands, using it in one of her many plots to kill False Moon. Vee, of course, sought to put a stop to her plan. With the help of Elliott, she banished CaterpillarOS to another dimension. Unfortunately, Vee also accidentally sent False Moon, Glitch, and Macbeth to the same dimension (Wonderland, if you couldn’t guess).

This kickstarts the Tamagotchi AU, aka the crossover between Phantasmagoria & StoryBook City. It’s a very small crossover, with just the FM & Wonderland Gang meeting, but it’s just the start. Give it some time, let it cook, etc.

Anyway, Glitch of course tries to continue her overarching plan of killing FM, still using CaterpillarOS until Wonderland’s magic gives it some sort of sentience and it helps both groups defeat Glitch & Macbeth for the time being. After that whole ordeal is done, there is some…debate on what to do with CaterpillarOS. FM lowkey doesn’t want to take it back with them on account of it almost killing them. The WG wasn’t too keen on it, either, due to it being an unknown mess of technology. But, CaterpillarOS chimes in and says that it’s fine staying in Wonderland and promises to only help the Wonderlandians. After Cyber checked CaterpillarOS’ code to make sure there was little to no chance of it going rogue, they showed Phineas how to maintain the now giant caterpillar robot and left with FM.

Tony and Bruce (Wayne)

Tony Stark and Bruce Wayne grew up together

They were there for each other when the others parents died

Bruce didn’t tell Tony he was Batman for a long time

Bruce not going out when Tony went missing because he’s worried and not getting any sleep

Tony was very hesitant to tell Bruce he was Iron man, especially because of the state he was in when he came home

Eventually he does tell Bruce, but it’s well after they join their respective superhero teams

Carol (Danvers) and Hal Jordan (+ Kara)

Carol Danvers and Hal Jordan met in flight school and actually weirdly got along really well

Hal was sad when Carol went missing

He ran into her during a mission in space once and they had a spiderman pointing at each other meme moment

They work together on missions sometimes

Oh no, not Hal complaining to Carol about his feelings for Barry, oh no

Kara’s foster parents are Carol’s aunt and uncle, so Carol can say that Superman is her cousin’s cousin

Oliver and Clint

They didn’t meet each other until after the avengers and the justice league were formed but they developed a friendly rivalry

Sometimes they’ll go to each other’s houses and practice trick shots

Thor and Diana

Thor thought she was “cute” at first

Then she threw him over her shoulder

He’s respected her ever since

She can lift mjolnir

He uses her lasso sometimes. They’re very fun party games

They like talking about their families to each other

Finally, someone gets me

Steve and Clark

They didn’t see the similarities at first

But then they went on a mission together and they started to see what their friends were getting at

They still believe they’re different

Clark shows Steve the fortress of solitude

When Clark is mad at Steve he’ll write an article talking him up. Tony usually gets a kick out of it

💫. ┊ ⁭ ⁭ ⁭ False Moon in Wonderland! There's already an AU of them going to Wonderland & meeting my aiw ocs (aka the Tamagotchi AU) HOWEVER this is completely different. It has FM themselves as the aiw characters. Its sorta like my Romeo & Juliet AU, in which Cali forces all his friends to put on a play, this time it's AIW lol.

Well, it's not particularly solid , but there's an Idea of Red, Tony, and Desmond traveling into parallel timelines. Because the SOE Red has does seem to cross time and space, as the places and times she ends up in, would be in themselves, out of her time. The Starks aunt in her home verse, and there is a grave for Jasper here. (she checked)

In the Marvel comics, Reed made a device that could see into other universes, I think. In this world, they found a POE that can take them to other universes, such as a soulmate, or the mutant verse. Red theorized that the parameters were set by their subconscious expectations of the world, such as having the same parents, but Red is consciously expecting divergences such as gender. We are used to worlds with cults and spies and whatnot, so it's not surprising Templars and Assassins keep showing up, or SHEILD and HYDRA.

"So are you guys this resigned to any variation of me lacking survival skills? Does the universe hate me this much? Does it have a fixed point somewhere that says I must die! I can't believe that! I wont! The world is not set in stone!

So who the hell did I piss off that badly when I was eight!!!"

If you don't like reading actual explicit sex and don't mind missing a tiny bit of characterization with it, you can skip it easily since it's neatly contained in its own two chapters (chapter notes says something like "bumped up the rating" so you get advance warning). It was one of the fics that introduced me to DC and made me love Jason, and a hundred fics later it's still top of the list. It has great characterization, somewhat scarce but quality batfam interactions, emotional angst, an in-depth look about Jason and how he feels about his death, father figures, and the Robins, and every character being horrified by each other's past and dismissive about their own. I also really like the kind of slow burn it is. The core of it is them feeling protective towards each other and amazed by their respective skills, not by their bodies, and there's no urgency or pining or embarrassment: sex is not the end goal, it's not a big milestone Jason looks forward to, it's just something nice that they do at some point because it feels right then, and it doesn't change their relationship."
