It's been a minute since I have posted on here. I don't get many reactions/engagement. I don't want to deactivate my account yet because of the 32weeksmixtape blog. But, today I just want to say I am grateful.
I started with a new artist who was inspired by my performance back in 9.7.24.
She wanted to record, i offered my mobile studio as a service. She laid down 1 song and then another...asking me to feature on it. I agree, we create "Wrong One". A song about overcoming, not to be taken lightly, truly rising over hate. She enters the song into a contest by orbiiit and timbaland raising awareness for "Adopting Courage" and fostered youth.
The song wasn't even ready. We do some re-records, I mix, and re-mix, and mix again. I get it mastered. She updates the submission.
The contest went live on 3.31.25. We perform it a local open mic the next day during national poetry month. We kill it. We remained number 1 in her group for round 1. We are officially in round 2 of the competition..last I checked, and still no.1.
There is so much more to add in regards to this process, but just right now, I am grateful. Grateful that folks on the other side of the planet understands and identifies with our music. Telling me that it helps them feel better when they are going through tough times. I say that to say I am so happy to be living my dream.
I appreciate all of those who will come across this one day. When you see this, let this be your reminder that:
YOU ARE LIVING YOUR DREAM...EVEN THE UGLY, THE BAD, ITS ALL APART OF YOUR STORY. AND NO ONE CAN TELL YOUR STORY BETTER THAN YOU!

Rare Aaliyah interview w/ Charlie Bahama (shared on Youtube June 17, 2023).
This was at Wyclef Jean's third annual Haitian Benefit Concert in Miami's Bayfront Park Amphitheater on Saturday April 17th, 1999.
Usher, Aaliyah, and Timbaland hosted that year's event, which featured performances by Pras, Mya, Naughty By Nature, Eagle Eye Cherry, Black Eyed Peas, Xzibit, Ozomatli, Destiny's Child, Nas, Isaac Hayes, Stone Love, and many more.
@charliebahama | Beautiful, Sweet and Talented are words I would use to describe #aaliyah after having her on the show… #charliebahama @earthbeatfilms #earthbeatfilms#mtv#90svintage#90smusic
Special Shoutout to @aaliyahhaughton and @inductaaliyah for the heads up.
This looked like a photo op during the interview of this .... which proves there are still a gazillian unseen images of Aaliyah out there.

Every time I hear Nelly Furtado I think of that one interview she did when I was like in high school or whatever, when she released "Promiscuous Girl" with Timbaland and the interviewer was like "Don't you have a little girl? What's she going to think of this song when she grows up? Are you setting a bad example for her?" and Furtado responded with something like "????????????? I'm allowed to make whatever music I want, and I'm raising my daughter to make her own decisions when she grows up."
That's not nearly an accurate transcript of what was said, I just remember the pure bliss I felt that morning hearing an artist at the top of her game telling people who aren't making art but always trying to undermine people who are to stick it where the sun don't shine.

Did Timbaland Get a Hair Transplant? Time to learn the facts!
Tumblr media
The saying “better late than sorry” doesn’t ring true for those who come late to the hair transplant party. However, this proved to be the case for Uncle Timba. Despite his age and the extent of his balding, he underwent a successful hair transplant and documented the process. We find it cute how he still feels young and mentioned that he got the hair transplant early!
When asked, individuals who have undergone a successful hair transplant describe it as the most transformative experience of their lives. The same is true for Timbaland as seen in the many podcasts, interviews, and his social channels.
He is very happy and very vocal about his hair transplant which sets a positive example for others who suffer from hair loss, unsure of what to do.

Rihanna the woman every1 loves 🥂💎🌟💄👩🏽‍🦱🧚🏽‍♂️♓️💖
I was listening to a post the other day on TikTok about how Rihanna was in this country. Well was in America at the age of 16 with no parental supervision or anything studio with Jay-Z and Connecticut, which is really weird. How would you get over here unless she hadn’t some formal form, some people believe that Jay-Z is actually worse P. Diddy, and I definitely believe he’s had some form of a relationship with Rhianna. Let’s not forget as well. Diddy everyone think he’s been bad for such a long time when the whole incident happened with Rhian and Chris Brown who was the person who was trying to put Chris Brown up and put him somewhere safe where he didn’t, maybe get hounded by or whatever which I’ve always thought was really strange, know that Chris is actually being part of his part and let’s say his crew.
The first song was Mr DJ replay pon de replay which was so popular at the time it was played everywhere and it was his young girl from Barbados so nobody has hurdles at the time. This was 2005 or 2006. I think it was 2005 the summer of 2005 was it Two years later this woman will become one of the biggest stars in the world like just like Aaliyah, Beyoncé. She had so many different errors now but this video is basically saying is how is this girl? This young teenage girl come to America without our parent supervision what if this guy who’s in his 40s or late 30s Singing you’ve got talent at the time there is another act called Tia Maria who Jay was working with as well but Beyoncé supposedly said I’ll choose Rhianna over her. She’s more talented. I think so the story goes and the rest they say is history
Has become one of the most popular women in the world she doesn’t do music anymore. What to do with her marketing and in the makeup industry which is a very wealthy industry and also underwear. I don’t think she’s made a record now since about 2017.
Let’s go 10 years prior 2007 in the United Kingdom. It’s a summer and out this banger called umbrella the irony was this summer. It literally rained all summer along and this the anthem and it’s what feature Jay-Z at the beginning. Good girl gone bad kind of the same marketing that that face that Beyoncé had because when Beyoncé started out, she was meant to be this good Christian girls singing gospel on some of the last traps on their albums of Destiny’s Child, now she’s basically, a white woman I don’t even know where that is she doesn’t do interviews anymore which fair enough if you don’t do that’s fine but it’s like some people say about the fairies. I’m not with a lot of the time he’s a clone there’s a clone there’s big Kanye and there’s a little Kanye, Kanye went against the grain of which took a lot of courage with that behind them and how big they are together as a couple they are promoted is the biggest power couple in the world .
Nobody can be on their level apart from maybe someone like Rihanna and Taylor Swift they are the only , were close to them and I believe that Jay-Z was initially interested in a right. God bless her soul Aaliyah was not interested – and I think this is one of the things for the big fallout I can almost even believe the fairy that they got her gone and the fact that she’s not even with us anymore for people who don’t know was big in the 90s and the early 2000s before she died in 2001 so very early 2000 she initially started her career by working with Kelly when she was very very young her uncle introduced them and she had her first agent nothing but a number which he is creepily on the cover of with her in the background very scary and now we know what happened with him and secretly he groomed her like he groomed everybody else who is in his life I’m glad he is locked away some people to come out and it only comes out because of blackmail just it will happen with him soon, also worked with Timbaland and Missy Elliott. She had many people she worked with in her life. She was becoming a superstar in her own and then she does her music video for rock the boat where they fly to Barbados and she gets a plane and ends up dying in the plane crash a very small where a lot of people i’ve said she didn’t wanna fly in that scared many different stories are there for things like this? So you have to put your story together and find out the truth but at the time she was becoming a huge superstar she was slim with dark hair the opposite of Beyoncé with her light and curvy body .
All these girls have a similarity I’ve been groomed into the industry by Jay-Z R. Kelly or P. Diddy but they’re all immensely talented. I never thought Rhianna was very talented when you see clips her but she’s got that star quality that you can’t explain it with her 2010 was her peak. Her best album I believe was allowed which came out that year and had hit such as only girl in the world California king bed and love the way you lie.
is just very sinister and you’ve got these people has been in becomes more accessible and acceptable to them. They become monsters. I’m watching right now and I’m telling you I know my mum really liked him and he was very popular actor but the abuse he did to these young men And then had the audacity to being gay as an excuse is disgusting. I do sometimes wonder with Rhianna what she’s had to do and it does make me sad and apparently she’s had a lot of problems with drugs and it’s one of the reason she doesn’t sing anymore, but I hope she’s in a better place, I hope empty space. I hope children have given her that feeling that she needed she’s only two years older than me. She’s my brother‘s age and she achieved an incredible amount.! counterpart at the same time as successful, in the same way anyway at Perry and Kia who’s careers were nothing compared, to the point where Rhianna even performed on stage with Britney Spears. I wish Rhian nothing but luck and the rest of her career and she’s a pioneer for women and people have been through stuff and I love her xxxxxxxx

My unpopular opinions and rants
● public interviews on YouTube are lame as fuck, they go around asking dumb ass questions that will trigger people and they'll go around adding those stupid edits that make no sense and then people will always answer the dumb questions with a stupid answer. It got repetitive, old and corny real fast.
● ASAP rocky is only relevant because he's with rihanna. She's keeping his name alive. He's only relevant because he benefits from pretty privilege, and rihanna still with him, and they have kids.
● Hannah baker from 13 reasons why is a trash character, and I never liked her. She's a liar, a fraud. She was a bully in her old school, she was out here thotting and bopping fucking with 5 or 6 dudes the whole love triangle playing victim. Hannah Baker was just merely a narcissist who didn't want to take any conuntability for her own actions.
● the reason why your kids don't know their purpose. or what they want to be, or don't wanna talk to you because you treat them like an investment. I don't have kids and don't plan to, but some parents out there need to stop treating their kids like an investment. Please stop hoping your kids go to college so you can brag about them, Please stop hoping your kids get an amazing job that you wanted them to get so you can brag about them because if you treat them like an investment, they're going to grow up in the real world not knowing who they are or what they want to with their lives and end up being depressed because they spent their whole entire life trying to please you.
● Being a perfectionist is not a good thing. Stop saying like it is a good thing. It's merely just self sabotage disguise as a perfectionist. You believe in yourself because you're scared that you put your work out there. A lot of people are going to trash it, dismiss it, and you don't want people to have an opportunity to give you a negative opinion.
● Kim Kardashian did more for black people than Obama ever did. Obama just did nothing but be black and did a whole bunch of shit for all the communities, but he didn't do shit for black folks.
● Normani is missing something. The only reason why normani isn't really blowing up is because she took too long to introduce herself. We still know her as the pretty black girl who can dance and sing. There's really not a lot to her I think she's pretty boring.
● don't hang around with bums that complain all the time about how their life ain't shit and how they are annoyed and depressed how they can't stand this. Don't hang around with those types of people. Because those be the same people that be jealous of you and will grow to resent you if you keep hanging around them.
● On my block, season 4 was the worst season. It was a waste of time, it was complete garbage, and I was so annoyed how they rushed through it and everybody was dating each other, fucking each other, everyone was going there separate ways, it made no sense and they killed off so many characters.
● most people have kids for selfish kids but won't admit it. Let's be honest Many people will sit up here and say,'I want kid till I'm 25 or 30' because a lot of y'all just want people to take care of you, so you don't end up being alone. Many people plan to have children by 30, 31, or 35 because they want someone to be there, they want an aesthetic of having a child, and they don't want to feel left out because all there friends of people there close to have children.
● The early 2000s Era had better music than the 90s Era. We had Ashanti, Aalyiah, Jennifer lopez, gwen Stefani, Eve, Destiny's child, Timbaland.
● J Cole is overhyped he's an amazing rapper and singer, but I just see him as a regular rapper.
● jhene aiko doesn't get enough credit for her work. Yes, she's praised for her voice and talent, but let's be honest, she isn't praised and rewarded like she really should be that she built and created for herself her songs are unique and she's very creative, she's really slept on and very underrated.
● There's a difference between being a good person and being nice. At the end of the day, just because you're nice doesn't mean you're a good person. Don't sit up here and say,' I'm a good person. At the end of the day, people never reciprocate." it like bitch stfu. Maybe you're just a people pleaser. Being a nice person is very different from being a good person because a good person is kind knows how to treat everyone with respect and a nice person will tell everyone what they want to hear to keep the peace and put on their best face to make sure everyone likes them solely because everyone likes a nice person, but not everyone respects a nice everyone.
● never ever trust somebody who counts favors. If somebody trying to bring all the nice they did for you, never trust those people. People who count favors are not good people there willing to hit you up one day to remind you of those favors to get what they want from you.
● before you go out of your way to listen to your parents about what you should do with your career, please give yourself a second look at your parents and see if there happy of there own career you don't want to take advice from a miserable bitch. If your parents aren't happy with there careers why the fuck would you lisen to them on what you should do with you life and how you can make money.
● Coi leray benefits from pretty privilege if she was ugly she wouldn't be where she is today.

Mix With the Masters: “Younger and Hotter Than Me”
Benny Blanco and Finneas discuss the process behind writing, mixing, and producing Selena Gomez’s “Younger And Hotter Than Me” for the latest Mix With the Masters series. Mix with the Masters, the world’s go-to platform for insight into music production, songwriting and engineering, unveils a new episode of their shortform doc series “Behind the Track” today with benny blanco and FINNEAS. The piece has massively multi-Platinum, Grammy-winning producers and songwriters going behind the scenes of blanco and Selena Gomez’s “Younger And Hotter Than Me” from their much-lauded new collaborative album I Said I Love You First—watch it here. The piece is the third installment in Mix With The Masters’ “Behind the Track” series investigating the creation of some of the world’s most innovative recordings. The first episodes include Justice and Tame Impala on their Grammy-winning “Neverender” and Lola Young and her songwriting and production team on the global smash “Messy.” “Behind The Track” marks the first time Mix with the Masters has presented a series publicly, beyond their subscriber base. Mix with the Masters celebrates its 15th anniversary this year. Founded in 2010 by Victor Levy-Lasne and Maxime Le Guil, Mix with the Masters is the world’s foremost library of production, songwriting and engineering knowledge, home to over 200 documentaries with everyone from award-winning legends such as Timbaland, Hans Zimmer and Steve Albini to the icons of today including Jack Antonoff, Finneas, Clairo and Ludwig Göransson. “Though we’ve come a long way since our first seminar in 2010, our mission remains the same,” says Lasne. “To share knowledge, inspiration and help guide tomorrow’s music makers towards greatness.” MWTM began when former university classmates Victor and Maxime started a series of offline, in-person seminars that soon became sought-after summits of the global music-making class. The founders realized there was a much wider audience for their offerings and in 2016 Victor and Maxime launched a website with a small catalog of in-depth tutorials and documentaries on music production, beginning an archive that could be shared for generations to come. In addition to the ever-growing library of interviews, MWTM continues to present in-person seminars, masterclasses and summits at iconic studios around the world. In addition, their Parisian home base Rue Boyer, a world class studio built by the founders alongside legendary architect John Storyk (Electric Lady, studios for Timbaland and Pharrell), has become a creative hub for many of the world’s biggest stars, including SZA, Rosalía, Travis Scott, Taylor Swift, Pharrell, Mumford & Sons, 070 Shake, Lola Young and countless others. With regular releases of full-length studio docs and a number of “Behind the Track” features with global stars in the pipeline, much more from Mix with the Masters is imminent. --- Please consider becoming a member so we can keep bringing you stories like this one. ◎ https://chorus.fm/news/mix-with-the-masters-younger-and-hotter-than-me/
