I do struggle to draw Jayce though, just gotta keep practicing!

I plan to write a short story on how Viktor got into this predicament shortly. Hopefully with more art to go with it.

The final Jayce & Viktor scene but make it g/t

It's over.

After seeing his older self surrounded by the desolate world of his own creation, Viktor’s glorious vision for the future is shattered, and he feels such unrelenting shame and despair that he pushes Jayce away. Turning so he doesn't have to face the man that had begged him to see reason. He thought he was doing the right thing, only to find out that he had lost his way so long ago that nothing he had achieved since had made any difference.

Looking out at the vast network of lights, now knowing that it was not some wonderful new state of being, but a massacre.

What have I done?

His metaphysical form depletes, actualised by his shame and despair. 

“You must go, Jayce,” he says before it becomes too noticeable. He cannot bear to face his partner right now.

He slumps forward, bowing his head. His breaths are still unsteady.

He's surprised when he feels something underneath him, and opens his eyes to see Jayce’s large hand cupped under his now very small body.

He's lifted up, the fingers curling closer as he's brought upward. 

He turns his head and his metaphysical heart skips a beat. 

That damn expression. 

Those crinkling eyes and soft, barely present smile that shows that Jayce understands. It's so earnest and empathetic that it melts Viktor's insides.

Something tingles underneath him and he looks down to see the rune that had previously been on Jayce's wrist now decorating his palm. 

“We finish this, together,” Jayce says with a determined finality. Viktor nods solemnly, pivoting to face Jayce before reaching down to touch his large hand.

It activates, and they both flinch.

The pain is strange, it expands and burns, like a star turning into a supernova. Jayce curls his fingers around Viktor, either protectively or from the pain making him clench, maybe both.

Viktor holds Jayce's thumb that's to his left and seemingly in response, Jayce pulls Viktor to his chest, bringing his other hand to hold over him as well. Viktor rests his forehead against Jayce's chest, closing his eyes as they face the end together. Two stars burning out into a beautiful nebula to prevent one from becoming a black hole.

And so, with Jayce holding Viktor close to his heart, their story is over. And the pain that had haunted them their whole lives, is finally gone. They can rest.

Some more jayvik Pacific Rim au since everyone asked so nicely!! Jayce is making sure Vik grows big and strong by stealing all the protein from the mess hall.

The lore behind Vik's short hair is that he crashed out around 3am, unable to solve a mathematical theorem, and forced Jayce to cut all his hair off with craft scissors in the dark. [nods nods]

author notes: life has been hard (exams, school stuff, looking for a job and a lot of other things lol), but now im finally able to write again!! :) and season 2 is just arrrgh so good, so good. also, thank u for the request! i really want to write more about vik (and any other arcane characters), so please keep sending those in!!

» at first, viktor would be pretty oblivious about his feelings for you, always ignoring the little tingling in his heart whenever you talked to him, the smile that appeared on his face every time you laughed or the way he seemed to be draw closer and closer to you, like if you were magnetic.

» whenever you talked to him, he would look at you like you were the only thing that mattered in the whole world, like every word you said was sacred, like you were the most beautiful thing he laid his eyes on. and you could swear it was possible to see hearts on those eyes.

» if you happen to work close to piltover’s academy, he will find himself going out more, looking for you in every corner on the streets. but if you work on the academy, he will go to your workplace quite often to brainstorm or just to talk about some subject he is working on.

» and when you happen to talk about the things you like, be prepared to either face viktor staring at you, completely silent, or to be bombarded with viktor questions, trying to learn more about whatever you're interested in.

» after your meet-ups, he always come back to the lab and talk to jayce about you, about the things you like, how you're amazing and beautiful and understanding and pretty and intelligent and so, so many good things.

Poor Viktor cannot fly and Jayce thinks of a idea on putting pixie-dust on Viktor's body instead of his wings. Unfortunately a strong gust of wind got them off guard.

Also, little idea we had on discord with Powder finding fairy Viktor. Very cute ideas being formed on that server.

And I'm very inconsistent with how I draw Jayce! 😫 But I think I have a good base now.
