My ramblings here:

I'll talk about Hunter first because it's the shorter one. A lot of the terms that were used back when Hunter was alive to talk about disability are now considered offensive, including some that were used in medical diagnoses. Some of these words were already insulting to begin with, but others became slurs as people started using them as insults. And being a good person who was raised in an environment that was progressive for her time doesn't mean she's automatically going to know that now that she's come back. So yeah, she fucks up.

About Robbie. He doesn't like her, he's had a bad day, he's already stressed and she just straight up insulted Gabe. And something that @robbiereyesangr114 pointed out is that Eli probably has already used every existing slur to talk about Gabe so yeah. She stepped in a big landmine I don't think it's our of character for him to blow up.

Something that's stablished is that Robbie is used to defending Gabe. I mean, his first reaction when he finds out Guero and his friends bullying Gabe is not panicking or trying to talk them down, but throwing a punch even if that means that he gets beaten down because they outnumber him. So yeah, it's not the first time.

I personally think that this also means that he has probably been punished a lot for doing protecting gabe, because unfortunately, something that happens quite often is that the people who face the bullies end up facing more repercusions than the bullies themselves. I don't think he's going to react well in the moment to being told to calm down or someone justifying what just happened, even if it comes from someone he usually trusts.

Something I’ll never understand is preferring s1 shiv. Yes, she appeared to be very functional, independent and was successful outside of Waystar but she was also…very underwritten before 1x10. It’s like they didn’t know what to do with her besides the whole overused cheating storyline with Nate, and I hate him so I skip all of their scenes when I rewatch s1.

Meanwhile, S2 turned her into the most complex character in the show and nothing compares to her in that season.

Timm, Quinn, and Cecilia hc

Timm and Quinn are like an uncle-figure and aunt-figure to Cecilia.

Cecilia is in her early twenties (22-23?) and just got started with owning her dance studios but is anxious over it (bc of her insecurity with making mistakes and not being "good enough" with dancing. That's when Timm come (who's in his mid-40s) and help Cecilia with her dancing career in a supportive way from mentor to parent-like. In return, Cecilia helps Timm as his "wingman" when Timm is flirting with Quinn.

As for Quinn (also in her 40s), she is annoyed at Cecilia, not just bc she's helping Timm to set up a date with her, she don't like Cecilia's display of insecurity. As a result, Quinn ended up giving Cecilia advice to help with her low self-esteem and how to handle making mistakes (especially since Quinn is a lawyer, so she relates to Cecilia a lot when feeling anxiety and being under pressured).

Hello, long time no see. Wanted to give a small quick update.

Spirit's World is still on HIATUS, but I plan to return to it LATE 2024.

I'm so sorry for how long this hiatus was. I intended to have the comic update this year, but 2023 was a very rough year for me for a multitude of reasons, but primarily just college BS sprinkle dinkled with a healthy helping of STRESS.

But do not worry, Spirit's World will return at some point, most likely after I graduate from college (that's mid 2024)! Hopefully whilst receiving my license accreditation so I can, you know, work.
