I write on Discord (through DMs or servers) or through Tumblr messages. I write in third person, past tense and usually around 2-4 paragraphs. I can't reply every day. I try not to make anyone wait longer than 3-5 days for replies.

Canon x canon pairings (MxM, FxF, or MxF ; please be open to writing at least two of those ; I don't write with people who only do MxF) are my favorite. I'm okay with doing some canon x OC ones (MxM or FxF only). I like my threads to be set within the universe so no AUs that are way off the beaten path. I do prefer writing romantic ships with NSFW/smut involved but also with a very healthy dose of plot. If you'd rather keep things clean and/or do platonic ships, I'm willing to take that into consideration.

Mockingbird: Not to be cliche, but probably Tolkien. I like that his writing wasn't streamlined, that he took detours into songs and poems and legends, that you could feel the weight of the history of Middle Earth pressing up against the present we got to see in the Lord of the Rings. Those are the kinds of things I want to include in my writing, in direct defiance of the "appeal to the algorithm" mindset that authors are forced into if they want to "make it big" in the industry at the moment!

Nightingale: LOL YEAH originally Ryla was a dude (named Ryle - and he was named after a character from some RPGMaker game I played back in the day, not the shitfuck guy from that "It Ends With Us" movie or whatever!!!) because I came up with the character while deep in the throes of comphet, since I needed a love interest character for Iradurel (who was my main character in a forum RP I was in with my pals back in the day), but he basically had no personality because I wasn't interested in writing about dudes. So when I figured out that I just straight up wasn't interested in dudes at all, I made Ryla a woman, and suddenly I couldn't stop coming up with cool concepts for the character!

Alora was born to an Ukrainian mother and a Romanian father. She fell for a Romanian man herself too - named Sébastián. They were high school sweethearts - who got engaged young.

She was 23 when she realized she was pregnant - they were delighted. But then - she soon realized her fiancé was a lying and cheating man. Alora had confronted him about his cheated - he had gotten angry with her - blaming her for his infidelity and pushed her down the stairs. She had collapsed due to the fall and later waking up in hospital. She discovers of her miscarriage and it of course greatly affects her.

It was 3 months later the incident - she gained became spiderwoman after she was bit my mutant spider (we all know how the story goes). It was during one of those days -she was met with an anomaly and meets the spider society.

The first time she even meets Miguel - who saved her from a fatal fall that day. They have a friends frenemies to lovers type of story. Miguel is the only one that knows of her traumatic past - she only ever opened up to him knowing his past with the daughter he lost in an another universe.

She helped Miles escapes - causing Miguel to be very angry with her and they had broken up by the end of it, and she joined Gwen's teams.

I do not want to terrify any of you or myself with the sheer number of blogs I have, but the ones tied in with Baldur's Gate or easily adapted to it will be listed all together in this post [ and I will probably add/link it to it in a pinned post on my blogs as well so it's easy to know what blogs are mine ].

First, to explain, I get hyperfocused on things and end up with a ton of muses [ Tolkien, Marvel, DC, mythology, gaming, etc ], and each one [ usually, though some are constants ] goes dormant for a bit while I hyperfocus on another thing--and sometimes manage to mesh and adapt several things into whatever the current thing is, as witnessed by spareastory because I still love all the things, my focus has just pivoted. I periodically cycle back around again, usually when some thing has perked back up the braincells in regards to that thing. Sometimes multiple co-exist at the same time, sometimes they just keep to a cycle. Sometimes it's a little of all of it.

My brain is just like this. It's always been like this. I have a wheel of special interests and it spins to whatever has the most to keep the braincells interested. The last long-stint hyperfixation was Overwatch and that was eight (8) or so months. Before that was Final Fantasy VII. Baldur's Gate is going on seven (7), I think, and I don't see it going away anytime soon because it has everything I love to write and I can adapt so many of my other favorite things into it.

So I know I have a lot of blogs and, trust me, I don't expect anyone to follow all of them, but that's kind of the explanation as to why they're here and why I share them from time to time.

Handee-kids for my fnaftale x Hello Puppets crossover!

In order from oldest to youngest:

Angelo Wales Nack

The eldest of the Handee-kids. His father is Nick Nack and his mother is Temptress. His mother is a wooden marionette that was once human.

Both his parents have a love for the arts, and he was their favorite project. He takes after his father's better qualities. His talent for all the art forms, his playful attitude, and endearing annoyingness. He likes messing with all his cousins, but the Ruckus twins are usually his main targets.

Abilities include:

Fire, flying, music attacks, marionette strings, water attacks, clay attacks, and painting attacks. His abilities are art based and ghost based.

Owie Springlocks Handee

(When Mortimer is pissed, he throws in Gubberson at the end. That's when he's REALLY pissed-)

He's a lot like his father, Mortimer Handee, but he's what he couldn't be.

Owie is the kind, fun leader of the kids that Owen intended Mortimer to be before the spell made him a monster.

Unlike his father, Owie doesn't need a host to feed on. In the RP, me and my friend established that the mirror spell made the puppet's souls deform. They were made too quickly, with the wrong amount and type of magic. (Their soul walls were too thin, and magic kept leaking from them like an old balloon. Plus, the agony from Owen's soul made them more violent and the dark magic made it harder for that agony to leak out with the natural pure magic in souls. Dark magic is thicker than pure magic. I have this whole thing with souls being an organ full of liquid magic for my au.)

Since he doesn't need a host, he and the other kids were given legs. He can walk and talk like a real boy!

Mortimer made him alone, not wishing to have a partner.

Abilities include:

Voodoo like his father, Fire attacks, magic flash, card attacks, wand attack, music attacks, and animal attacks are on the list of natural magic that Owie has. Along with teleportation and healing magic. His attacks are music and magician based.

Lavender Danger Tiger

She's a hybrid of a puppet and a tiger animatronic. Her ma is Daisy Danger, and her Pa is Thomas Tiger. Like her ma, she's the group's mom friend. Looking after the other Handee-kids, and helping Owie lead them.

Like her mom, she loves cooking and baking. As long as you have ingredients for SOMETHING, and an adult is around, she'll cook for you. But also like her mother, Lavender has a danger mode. She's much more dangerous in danger mode than her mother, thanks to her tiger half making her more wild when pissed. Thankfully, it's hard to piss her off, and she can remain calm in more stressful environments for longer than her mother.

Abilities include:

Fire, claw attack, bite attack, pie attack, fruit attack, shield, music attacks. She has magic based on cooking and tigers.

John Ronald Reuel Springlocks Ruckus

John is named after JRR Tolkien, the Doctor that Riley had studied the works of. Though she learned that his works were of fiction, magic and science still tend to go hand in hand.

John is older than his sister by a few seconds, and rubs it in every chance he gets. But whenever he needs to, he also uses his age to play the "protective older brother" card, to give reasons to take a bullet for Rosalind. Still annoys her, but as the older twin, he tries to be more responsible. But he's the furthest from responsible, but he's more capable.

Prefers the Chronicles of Narnia and Wings of Fire, over Tolkien's works. But still picks out books by him for his mother to read to him and his sister.

Abilities include:

Fire, electric attacks, chemical attacks, plant based attacks, bite attacks, music attacks, telekinesis, and crystal attacks. Magic is based on science and dogs. Same as his sister.

Rosalind Franklin Springlocks Ruckus

Rosalind is named after the scientist that discovered DNA. Learning this, she has a fascination with biology, wanting to know everything that the woman she's named after, helped other people learn.

Loves helping and/or sneaking into her mom's lab, and the lab of Dr. Bonnie to perform experiments with chemicals and magic. Her brother may be like how their mother was intended to be like, but she herself got SOME of her mom's craziness. But only some, to where she isn't actively a threat, she's just a kid you need to keep a VERY close eye on if you don't want to deal with a chemical fire.

She's younger than John by a few seconds, and hates it. Because he always rubs it in. How they found out was, when they were created, their mother couldn't help herself and recorded their development from when she made their souls, up until they learned to talk. The twins, in search for something interesting to learn about, found their data their mom wrote down. John hasn't let Rosalind live it down since.

Despite being younger, and more wild than her brother, she's more responsible. But less capable. Unfortunately for her, she and John are two peas in a pod. She's the responsible one, he's the capable one, and together they're unstoppable! ...or VERY stoppable- just depends on the day.

Though they are both target's for Angelo's pranks, Rosa is often the main target. Her brother let's himself get pranked too though, so she isn't alone and so they can get Angelo in more trouble.

Has a love for Tolkien's work like her mother, but also loves reading A-Z Mysteries, The Magic School Bus books, and American Girl doll books. The Hobbit always puts her to sleep.

Abilities include:

Míriel is an original character belonging to Tolkien - here are a few headcanons on now I imagine her character would be like to rp as her :) - - RULES

Eye Color: Dark (jet black/deep brown appearing black)

Headcanons ahead!

Nicknames: Mír/Míre (as Finwë affectionately called her).

Visual Age: 27

Height: 7’2

Hair Style: Braided into intricate and exquisite patterns on the top of her head to keep away from her face.

Weapons: Sword fighting - she was definitely alive during the time Finwë led the Ñoldor to Valinor so I hc it is something she excels in.

Magical Ability: Perhaps none - but I hc her as becoming a disciple to Vaire (as she probably cannot become a maia), she is able to see a little into the future and weave it into tapestries (only from the line of Finwë), but obviously not as much as Vaire.

Hands: small, thin lithe fingers, squoval nails.

Types of Clothes: Gowns/dresses mostly made of velvet and unique colors like turquoise. Flowy dresses that are made to easy to move in and sat for her to sew.

How do they wear their clothes: Neatly and very put together - not a single thread out of place.

What are their feet like: Clean slippers or soft boots, rarely ever barefoot.

Mannerisms: Míriel is an expert at hiding her emotions - however she does give a proud smile and give sharp nods a lot once acquainted. She is a kind person with tough love, her affections are carried mostly through her actions and acts of service. After becoming a disciple sometimes she likes to speak in riddles.

Important/Usual Accessories: She wears classy hairpin sticks most of the time.

Dislikes: Arguing, war, swords - ever though she has good swordsmanship, she hates having to use it.

Favorite Colors: Any soft, unique and pastel colors. Her favorite turquoise because it is a color unique as her hair to the elves.

Literature: She likes to read a variety of genres - she loves mysteries the most, she is not able to tell what is coming in books so loves reading a lot and make up her theories.

Hobbies: sewing, reading.

PERSONALITY:

Personal Triggers: Weapons, abuse and wrongs in her family (yes, of course she considers Indis family).

What words or phrases do they over use: “By my lady Vairë” or “There is nothing I can do. . .only weave it.”

Are they more optimistic or pessimistic: Optimistic in Valinor, pessimistic in the Halls of Mandos at first but grew optimistic again when she realized she could weave the the deeds of her family. But pessimistic again when Fëanáro creates and commits to the oath and all events that followed - she was in depression for a long time until her sons and grandchildren regretted and served their punishments.

Love Language: Acts of service, quality time and physical touch.

Strongest Character Trait: Her abilities as a weaver and the expertness to hid her emotions.

Weakest Character Trait: Can be stubborn sometimes - but in her own calm way without having to raise her voice.

Greatest Fear: Morgoth winning - and Fëanáro at one stage.

Overrated Virtue: Temperance and solemnity

If they could change one thing about themselves: To be able to do something when she weaves in a misfortune in the line of Finwë - she is only just a weaver and cannot prevent fate, but she wishes to change it or fix it.

Songs I associate with Míriel: Skyfall by Adele, Can’t Pretend by Tom Odell and Scars Leave Beautiful Trace by Car the Garden (Alchemy of Souls OST).

EXTRA NOTES:

Later when Míriel becomes the handmaid of Vairë — they're bonding over the art of sowing — and became very close friends. Neither talk much; small smiles shared — but sometimes becomes each others words of advise and wisdom. Míriel then becomes the disciple of Vairë.

Míriel would be in two minds about seeing – heartbroken seeing her little flame has become someone as dangerous as Morgoth, that would scare her. She might refuse to meet him a few times as first – but would him from afar without him knowing.

Then, seeing how he acts in the halls of Mandos and if he regrets his actions and ready take his punishments, then she would be more willing to see and talk to him. Definitely a few awkward meetings at first – she would not know what to say and probably maintain a distance as much as it hurts her too. Then, slowly warm up go him seeing him grieve for his own sons.

Winter. It's cold and dark and it resonates with me. Jk. I like being bundled up in layers. It's cozy and I feel cute. 🤭

Ooh, so hard to pick! I'm a hardcore Tolkien girl, BUT! and you can fight me on this, GRRM and Gaiman are far more superior authors, so idk, I can't pick. Also, heckin' Anne Rice exists! Hello?? It's like asking me which of my hair strands is my favourite! Um, there is a book I've recently read twice in a row now though, and might read again, and again, and again, just because the fmc reminds me so much of my own MC and some scenes in it mirrors many of the RP's I've done in the last eight months... ;)

LEAST FAVORITE CHILDHOOD MEMORY: Lú's least favorite memory when she dreamt of losing her family - but later when she was safely tucked in her father's arms, she realized she was safe with them and it made her happy - her emotions are linked her magic, so it caused flowers to bloom inside their home. It was also the first time everyone realized she was born with magic - but also a time Melian had realized Lú was born to be an immortal.

(Lú's first memory was from when she was a little elfling. She had woken up from a terrible nightmare - Beren instantly took her into his arms, while Lúthien attended Dior who had woken up from his twin's cries. She fell asleep on his chest and Beren had to hold her for the whole night - she was too afraid to let him go. The next morning everyone had woken up to see flowers blooming inside their home).

PERSONAL TRIGGERS: reminders of the losses of her family - the ruin of Doriath, running into the forest barefoot hoping to save her nephews. Battle and blood.

WHAT ARE PHRASES OR WORDS THEY OVER USE: Eru give me patience!

ARE THEY OPTIMISTIC OR PESSIMISTIC: Optimistic in Tol Galen and before the ruin of Doriath. Pessimistic and in depression afterwards until she reaches Rivendell.

WHAT MAKES THEN LAUGH OUT LOUD: Anything hilariously stupid done by her friends or the twins before the ruin of Doriath. Afterwards she doesn't tend to laugh even if something seems funny a small smile is the most you get from her.

HOW DO THEY DISPLAY AFFECTION: Words of affirmation, acts of service - and physical touch (when a romantic relationship).

STRONGEST CHARACTER TRAIT: Compassion, fair.

WEAKEST CHARACTER TRAIT: Stubbornness, jealousy (she already lost so many people in her life she easily gets jealous. But it is not toxic, she tries subtle ways to get her lover's attention back. Little puffing, shifting from one foot to the other; after some time even step closer to her beloved or link arms with them— this is when she feels a little insecure and starts comparing herself to the other person). Has Thingol’s temperament for sure (but denies it).

WHAT DO THEY CONSIDER AN OVERRATED VIRTUE: Solemnity.

IF THEY COULD CHANCE ONE THING ABOUT THEMSELVES, WHAT WOULD IT BE: Her eyes - she hates it at times some people think they are too strange and she grows to dislike them. Her family was the only ones loved them - she has yet to meet someone who loved her eyes like they did. Her powers - they are the one thing stopping her from sailing west and giving up her immortality , times when she feels alone and lost after the ruin of Doriath she wishes she didn't have these powers and can freely sail west.

Song: Dynasty by MIIA, Lovely by Billie Eilish, and Arcade (Loving You Is A Losing Game) by Duncan Laurence ft. Fletcher are songs that can describe Lú's life.

Smell: she prefers to wear perfume that smells like lilies and snowdrops.

PARENTS (Beren and Lúthien):

Lúthriel and her parents have a great relationship. They both encourage her to take her powers to the fullest but also be careful how she wishes to use them. Luthien and Beren always gave a talk with Dior and her — considering their future and gifted them small necklace that can be connected together to make a whole star Lúthriel and Dior always had it with them and they never took it off — even after Dior's death she always keeps it as her most prized treasure. Beren would always tell Lúthriel to use her powers for good — and try to help those in need — like how Luthien saved him. Luthien would always encourage not her to be never dishearted because her parents and brother are mortal and tell her she was made to be immortal for a reason and she must fulfill it.

DIOR (Twin):

Dior and her are very close — they have each other's backs. She trusts him with almost anything. He's always the one protecting her if seome ever said anything bad about her 2 different colored eyes. She spend countless nights crying to him about it. She feared no one would ever love her because she's so different from others. He's actually the first she told and she thinks she's bi. Their relationship however strained a little — when the silmaril came into Dior's hands.

Since she's immortal because of her inherited powers — most of the time Dior and her, try not to argue and cause strain on their relationship. Instead encourage each other to the fullest.

She stays with her parents for a few years — then travels to Doriath to stay with him afterwards. She's really hates separating with anyone — especially family. But Beren, especially — tells her to stay with her twin because one day she will regret not having all the time spent with him. Both their parents know how much the twins mean to each other — so they rather them be together than separates. I like to describe Dior and Lúthriel as like two bright stars on each side (north and south) shining as much as the other — providing so much light.

Herself and Dior shares a special bond like that — and either of them can tell if the other is feeling upset or unwell. They can't hide anything from each other.

NIMLOTH (SISTER-IN-LAW):

Lúthriel didn't know how to feel about her at first — but then she saw Nimloth was kind and loved Dior. So she wished them a bright future and was happy for her brother. She only wishes she can find a love like theirs too

ELWING, ELURÉD, ELURÍN (NIECE AND NEPHEWS):

She's a great aunt— always up to mischief with her nephews and niece. She's the type of a aunt that gives them goodies even if they are grounded — so you can imagine how much they love her. She always showed them her powers ,— little things like growing flowers or strengthening trees.

THINGOL (Grandfather):

Her relationship with Thingol is very strained because of the silmaril. From an young age Lúthriel could always tell the silmaril was bad news. She always could get a strong dark vibe from it. She never understood what good it brought. She had multiple arguments with Thingol as she grew up — but knowing he was still her grandfather matter what she still respected to him to an extend.

MELIAN (Grandmother):

She definitely closer with Melian. Melian understood her views — she was always the one that helped Lúthriel calm down after than argument with Thingol.

CANON LOVE INTEREST:

Erestor — Chief Councilor and Librarian of Imladris - former warrior in Eregion

MCU AU LOVE INTEREST: Loki — god of mischief and lies.

Wielding her Magic:

She can wield magic — she can command the forest to her will and she can read into the pattern of the stars — to tell if any danger is incoming.

Melian and Luthien both tried helping her hone in her powers— but soon they and her learnt it was better if she was self-taught as her powers has almost a mind of its own — and she needed to harness them on it on her own. They were still on the sidelines encouraging and giving her advice. It's through their encouragement she developed.

However, there was a lot of mishaps along the way — Dior sometimes still tease her about it. - She almost hit Thingol in the head with a branch once and another time she accidentally hung her father downside on a tree.

During the time Dior was in possession of the silmaril - their relationship was strained and she did not spot the oncoming danger. She felt at fault for the death of her twin and sister-in-law, she hugged his lifeless body - crying her heart out. She connected their half necklaces one last time and set out to find her nephews - because her niece thankfully escaped - the pattern of the stars told her, Elured and Elurin was in greater danger. Due to the heartache of her twin brother's death - it was hard for her to locate her nephews - she was exhausted and tired. She crashed in woods and cried out to the forest to save them - in canon tradition among the Nandor of Ossiriand held that they were led to the safety of the woodlands by birds and beasts and thereby survived - for my oc this was caused by her powers - she knew they survived but never found them again.

EXTRA NOTES:

Ixalië was born in Arda as Dûviel. She was orphaned at birth as her parents had abandoned her. Grew up in a nearby village orphanage.

She was different among the other children, who liked to play and laugh. Dûviel preferred to sight at a corner and read her books alone. She was easily picked on because of dark looks, which made her grow into a dark personality to avoid others and their teasing, mocking and bullying.

Dûviel was viewed as a witch or vampire, but she did not mind as long as people did not pay attention to her. She finally have thought to made a friend, with whom she was finally able to share interests and hobbies too - but unfortunately lied and betrayed to by her and pushed to her death off a cliff when she was only 19 years of age.

Mandos took pity on her and gave her rebirth to be his maia, who was granted visions by touching particular objects to help her unmark the truth. He named her Ixalië. Mandos and Vairë are whom she considers has both her saviors and parents, she grows in their care into her adulthood.

Slowly, she opens up to the idea of friendships again. Her best friend is a maia of Irmo, Nyarmë – they are polar opposite but it is like Vairë once explained to her: “You cannot have a shadow without light shining on you first.”

But later Melkor to brings her to his dark side,- and Ixalië follows to take vengeance upon the elves that once harmed her

In canon, much later - she meets Eönwë and eventually falls in love with him.
