Oh fuck this is bad this is very bad.

It doesn't sound like we have easy mammal-to-mammal transmission yet; the mammals are supposed to have got it from eating dead birds.

But influenzas are mercurial and slutty viruses. They adapt like the Borg. They adapt like my cat figuring out which treats hide pills.

The more mammals highly pathogenic H5N1 finds itself in, the greater the chance that one of those mammals is carrying its own influenza virus, a virus that does transmit between mammals easily. And then the bird virus and the mammal virus love each other very much and make a virus baby. And if we're unlucky, that virus baby has the contagiousness of mammal flu (very, airborne) and the fatality rate of bird flu (over 90% in birds, over 50% in humans).

So much love and recognition to the people who don't know how they feel about recovering. To the people whose scars are fading away, and there's a sinking feeling, despite knowing that it's a good thing. To the people who miss when they were "worse," when they felt "broken." To the people who mourn losing their coping mechanisms, even the ones that were destructive, scary, or unpleasant. To those who feel guilty they're healing because their past self wasn't ready.

Whatever it is, there is nothing wrong with any of those feelings. It's a natural reaction, something you don't have ultimate control over. There is nothing shameful about yourself, and I admire the strength it takes to recognize how you feel, even the parts that do feel like the "wrong" reaction to a Good Thing.

Cause currently we’ve got the main family, Mom(Cleo), the probably divorced father(Etho) and both of their sons Scar n Bdubs

Further out you’ve got the godfather Martin (I think Scott may have also been something? But I can’t remember if he was.)

THEN, you’ve got Joel (good lord he’s got a lot going on in this), who Cleo refers to as uncle Joel, bringing him into the main family that way. Jimmy and Joel are fathers to Grian apparently, so hey, cousin Grian I guess.

Joel n Etho are also divorced, take it as you will. /j but divorce wins.

college au right. fuuta meets this cute girl and this cute boy at an event idk at my uni sometimes they'll have things with esa dogs u can just show up and play with so i imagine smth like that

and theyre all there for different reasons so like fuuta is there because he likes dogs, miko is there because he needs stress relief, mappi is there because she just loves playing with them

but so miko & mappi r already friends, night creature solidarity or whatever, and he dares her to go talk to that angsty lookin dude and shes like sigghhhh ok

i imagine they have this ongoing thing where they dare each other to flirt with ppl because mikoto is hot and knows it and mahiru is mahiru

but anyway she goes up to fuuta and sits on the ground next to him & the dog he's playing with

and he has never seen a woman before in his LIFE so bro just fuckin bluescreens
