Today it's not a Star Wars artwork 😱 It's my desktop! And my cat Luigi peaking, obviously lurking to paw my pencil! 🐱
For me it's another step from clinging to templates back to free hand drawing like in old times, before my life was shaken with the aim to force me into growth 😌✨ (poetic and pathetic, too few coffee, too much green tea today maybe 🦉☕️)
Maybe you think this looks familiar – it's a remake of my old Tumblr profile banner picture. A sign for new beginnings and improvement 🚀 💫
This piece is a relic from times long before I knew I could be a self employed graphic designer or even an artist. I drew it on paper, scanned it and made the color finish with mouse and Gimp 🙈 I forgot the year, but I guess it's now about 10-15 years old 😄

idk how people draw in public, i need to adapt to this and learn bc I'd really like to go sit in the park and draw and get some sun...
I use limited tools/colors when i draw because I never make full colored pieces or anything, usually a page or spread is a single color or analogous colors, but I just dont like the idea of not having supplies on hand if I change course in what I'm drawing....
#sometimes ill draw in colored pencil then feel the need to switch to markers and i know limiting yourself is good but its not the same#theres a difference i feel...i hope this makes sense#not being able to continue a page or spread bc i dont have the tool i need to do so wld frustrate me especially since#i dont like having many unfilled pages at once (since obvs the solution is to just continue on another page)#it makes me feel overwhelmed and itchy. if dis makes sense#i understand limiting tools helps u improve but thats not what this is.#for example im a person who brings all personal essentials with me at all times. if i went somewhere and realized#i forgot to bring my chaptsick or my little lotion bottle i wouldn't be able to relax until i got back home to it#*chapstick#this is the same as that. id just feel off#like ill just go home then actually

Last year being alone at Christmas was depressing and upsetting- despite going in a different direction entirely with religion and not really caring about the whole Jesus thing, it's hard not to feel lonely and abandoned in that context.
This year I'm bored. Like, everywhere is closed so I just have to be in my house with my objects for the weekend.
