Isolation Day 10: So you know that weird phenomenon that happens in spring in Chicago where you go to bed one night and it seems like none of the trees have leaves and then you wake up the next morning and everything is green? We are in #Yosemite. It's pouring here. Pouring, not snowing. We had a little snow around the cabin a couple of mornings ago. The kids are still having loads of snow fun because we are driving them to higher elevations, chasing the snow. We spent today up near #Badgerpass and we were still playing in the snow in the rain! . My kids love the snow. I am from #Northdakota and don't love the snow. My friends know one way to tempt me up to the CA snow is to use a hot tub as bait. Today I spent a couple of hours by myself in the hot tub in the rain. I sang to the treetops and listened to the river. A flock of #songbirds visited and flitted about in the tree above me. I cupped my hands and raised my face to the sky with my mouth wide open, taking it all in. I was moved to tears at the beauty surrounding me. Nature is full of pure vibrations. Random rambly notes on the plans I have for distributing the remaining modded monster spawns in the minecraft halloween modpack (cause I don’t rly got anywhere else to that won’t spoil it for the major players I have for the modpack);

- Treestalkers will obviously spawn in forests where their respective woodtype exists. Exception will be either where said forest is either a snowy biome or one where another “large monster“ mob may spawn. Or the silkglade, cause treemonsters getting slowed by spiderwebs everywhere is.... not that scary

- Hidebehinds are also forest-type monsters, but will spawn in the non-cold forests that Treestalkers don’t spawn (ex- byg’s Coniferous forests as there isn’t a Coniferous-wood type Treestalker)

- Weeping Angels... used to spawn everywhere, but with the number of new monsters in the modpack they may need to be made more limited to keep players from being overwhelmed; cold/snowy/mountainous biomes only. Cold stone in cold biomes; That was what the mod originally wanted Weeping Angels to originally spawn in anyways.

- Wisps by default spawn in forest and swamp biomes. That setting should stay but may get some tweaking; if I can make them more common in swamp-type biomes then I will. Maybe also increased frequency in Ghost/Vampire forests maybe (keyword maybe; vanilla Phantoms spawning there may already be enough chaos)

- Hirschgeist the ghost-deer boss is a bit of a more difficult one. Being its a in-world modded boss I want it to neither be common nor inaccessible; limit it to one per world so players don’t end up fighting multiple at once. Ghost, Dead, and Ominous forests for sure for spawn, but idk about the other forest biomes... maybe the taller and/or more open forests? Hard to call. If I can find some way to have it summonable via In Control I’ll somehow make the deer heads somehow an ingredient in said summonings instead of having it spawn naturally.

- Zotzpyre.... uuuuhhhh... maybe some of the taller forests? Or maybe limited to just 1 or two biomes altogether; cool as they are we don’t really need a giant vampire bat when there’s already the vampire mod going on and don’t need Vampire players getting confused.

- Vampires will probably continue to be worldwide spawning monsters, as well as Eyes in the Darkness and Ominous Shadows (granted the last two will be limited to the underground only)

Sounds cut-and-dry, but with the mods there are... a LOT of biomes in those categories to cover. So let’s get cracking.

So I plucked Amora-Tae completely out of nowhere and liked it, but in canon, she's named after her father's treestalker, who died protecting her mother while she was in labor. The cat's name was Amor, but Amora-Tae' s mom didn't like the feel of Amor-Tae so she tacked on the extra A
