Realized that it had been a long time since I did something purple... so, I decided to try a purple marble because I had so many pretty purple shades. Also saw a tip about how to pick up polish to marble it. It was pretty easy. Zach chose purple as the theme color for todays BlueJay Nest Workshop notes and plans. Paired with black ink for changes and add-ons I thought of Nightmare Before Christmas and the lovely deck of Tarot cards I was given for my birthday a few years ago. After much consideration, I am now offering digital downloads on my website. I've spent the last three months, since this form of buying art has become popular, weighing the pros and cons. Pros for the art connoisseur: • quick access to art • more accessible price point • no cost of shipping • no waiting for shipping • ability to resize art to work best for you • can still get a beautiful print (using a good printer or printing at walgreens/walmart) Pros for me: • giving more accessible price points • no possibility of the post office loosing my art Cons for the art connoisseur: • no waiting at the mailbox with excitement • no satisfaction from unpacking Cons for me: • no quality control of prints made • lots of prayers that someone won't take the art file and sell it themselves • general anxiety of dissatisfaction with art So in conclusion: I believe this is the right choice.
