Premier League: Two-Goal Erling Haaland Returns To Haunt Leeds United In Manchester City Win
Premier League: Two-Goal Erling Haaland Returns To Haunt Leeds United In Manchester City Win
Erling Haaland lamented not scoring five times in the city of his birth as the Norwegian struck twice in Manchester City’s 3-1 win at Leeds to lift them back up to second in the Premier League. Haaland spent his early years in Yorkshire as his father Alfe Inge played for Leeds, but showed no mercy as City got their title challenge back on track. Pep Guardiola’s men moved to within five points of…

Murray inspires two-goal fightback for Brighton against Fulham
Glenn Murray scored two second-half goals as Brighton fought back from a two-goal deficit to draw with Fulham.
The forward, who has now scored in both the club’s home games this season, converted Anthony Knockaert’s pass to start the fightback.
And he then dispatched the hosts’ second penalty of the afternoon to deliver a point that appeared unlikely midway through the second period.
Pascal Gross had earlier missed a spot-kick for Brighton, with Fulham keeper Marcus Bettinelli turning his effort away.
Slavisa Jokanovic’s side capitalised on that miss before the interval, going ahead when Andre Schurrle scored from Jean Michael Seri’s exquisite scooped pass.
Aleksandar Mitrovic’s fourth goal in three games looked to have sealed all three points for Fulham and their first back-to-back Premier League wins since April 2014.
However, Brighton’s late charge maintained their unbeaten home record that now stretches back to January.
