Wind was one of the most powerful forces on planet earth. It carved mountains and leveled buildings and forests. It spread forest fires and swept oceans into typhoons. The gust of wind that rushed down the hallway towards the guards had all the force of a F2 tornado condensed into a small space. The guards were immediately flattened to the roof and sides of the hallway with devastating force, armor - and bones - cracking with ease. Inasa proceeded to fling them backwards to the end of the hall like ragdolls, where they crumbled in a heap.
And so it went. Inasa stalked through the halls towards where he knew the exit was, taking out any resistance left and right. The doorknobs he’d pulled from the halls were effective missiles that he used with devastating accuracy. With every guard he hit, with every bit of destruction he caused, Inasa couldn’t help but feel a little bit of a vindication.
And yes, he knew that this was sadistic. He knew that he was ending lives. Inasa wasn’t an idiot.
But the commission had done too much to him, too much to others, for Inasa to feel any kind of sympathy. If Inasa was going to escape, which he was, then he was going to bring as much as he could crashing down around him before he left.
Inasa is one of my favorites, both in canon and in this story (once again, please ignore the mematic logo)

Il 2 sturmovik battle of stalingrad keyboard controls

Even the penetrations can look different such as near penetrations when the armor (barely) stopped a projectile. The marks placed by this tech are not simple 2D textures - thanks to modern graphical techniques they have visual depth. The look of these marks is thoroughly prepared by our partners at Digital Forms and is based on real-world photos of combat damage on different objects. There are also separate marks for ricochets of high caliber armor-piercing rounds. They also look different depending on the material the projectile hit - whether it was armor, thin metal, or not a metal at all. In a nutshell, it places an impact mark where a projectile hit.Īmong the many neat possibilities this tech brings, the size of the mark corresponds to the caliber of the projectile and/or explosive power of the shell if it was of the HE variety. The answer is, DVD means Dynamic Visual Damage.

There were different guesses and some of them were near misses. F3 is flyby view of your aircraft, F4 is the dogfight view between your aircraft and your target etc., the list is there in the keyboard commands section of the “Controls Settings” menu.Ĭan you clarify a bit about what you want and what you are trying to do? Cheers.Īs some of you who frequent our forums already know, Jason has recently announced that we’re developing a new tech called DVD and invited you to guess what that actually means. F2 is the basic outside view of your aircraft, Left+Alt+F2 cycles through various preset views of the aircraft you are focusing on. Or if you are asking me how to watch the replay track other than from the cockpit, there are several key presses, mainly the F1 through F12 buttons. You can edit the replay track to what-ever view you want to watch it from, then save that track with the new views. You want to switch view from “cockpit view”? The only thing I think you are asking me is how do you “edit” the replay view…is this correct? In the “Flight Records” in the main menu of IL-2 you see the replay track you want to view when you click or highlight the record you have several options below like delete, copy and edit IIRC. Work on this aircraft is entering the final stage, and we plan to give it to everyone who pre-ordered the project at the very beginning of the summer. These screenshots were taken in the game world. So here we have something new to show you today! It is the cockpit of the Hawker Typhoon Mk.Ib fighter-bomber. This is a specialized vessel designed to land infantry units directly ashore, for which it is equipped with two gangways, on both sides of the bow.Īnd because Battle for Normandy is a project about combat aircraft, you are waiting patiently for news about the progress of aircraft in development. Along those lines, today we will show you a screenshot of development progress of the landing craft LCI (L) (Landing Craft Infantry, Large).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And in order to reproduce some of these events, new types of ships and watercrafts will be introduced into the project. As you know, the Battle of Normandy is an event most closely associated with the navy. Work is underway on various technologies as well as development of ground equipment, maps, aircraft and ships. Time does not stand still, just as work on the Battle for Normandy project does not stand still.

The @redbulletin article part 4 ⬇️
2017 - Super Formula, Autopolis Round, Japan, Team Mugen, VICTORY
📝More often than not a GP2/F2 champion can find an F1 seat for the following season, but with no seat available at Red Bull’s F1 teams, Pierre was sent to Japan for a year of racing in the high-powered Super Formula championship. He came within half a point of winning the title, and had the final two rounds not been cancelled due to Typhoon Lan, may have gone one better – but the experience was critical.
Pierre lists his race win at Autopolis as the standout race – because he and his team decided to gamble on the unknown Soft compound tyre. It was part of a larger learning cycle that saw him take a much deeper dive into technical matters – if only to be better understood.
Tumblr media
💬 “Japan was a lot of new things for me. When I went to Japan, I had no idea what was going to happen. I built a relationship with Honda and was also able to spend more time than usual with my team and understand how they operate. I didn’t speak Japanese, only one guy in the team spoke English, so there was potential for miscommunication.”
"I became more involved on the technical side so they could understand what I needed. Great experience, I learned a lot and was much more involved than I’d been in other series where the driver gives feedback but concentrates mostly on driving.”

At dusk, I set my camera on the asphalt to take a snapshot of Nanay Rosing Labotap's  home in Brgy 4-A, Sulangan, Guiuan, Eastern Samar. If it were not for her, we would have spent an entire night in the torrential rain, sleepless-- feasted on by rabid mosquitoes. We were on a mission for Bike Scouts Philippines to deliver relief goods and construction materials to communities that were still inaccessible for national aid. This was a time when humanitarian aid came streaming from all sides of the globe -- some more organized than others. So as we sat huddled in the dark, shivering and exhausted, one  of our companions Marie Saballegue set out to make random friends in the community. Marie is a person of grace and fortitude and because of her perseverance, she found nanay Rosing who saved us all.

Ink Sketching at Enoshima
We used a nice weather day (a rarity lately because of the constant typhoons) to do some outside sketching with ink (rapidographs) at Enoshima. I did the same drawing twice to see if I can do it better the second time, but apparently I have still a lot to learn while ink-only drawing.
Tools: Paper: Canson Montval watercolor sketchbook F2 Sketch: Faber-Castell TK Fine Vario L 0.7 2B Lines: KOH-I-NOOR rapidograph 0.6 0.8
