A Beginner's Guide to UGC NET Course
National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA)  is conducted on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC). This exam was previously conducted by the CBSE. Since 2018, the National Testing Agency has taken over the responsibility of administering NET exams on behalf of the University Grants Commission. the exams are held twice a year.
Every year, many applicants take the National Qualification Examination not only for career advancement but also for the purpose of gaining various benefits in life. There are thousands of candidates in India who aspire to become teachers in universities.
Tumblr media

UGC NET Selection Process
There is a specific eligibility criterion that the candidates must follow before submitting the application form for the UGC National Entrance Test. The candidates must follow the educational standards and the age limit in order to successfully take the entrance examination.
General category candidates must achieve at least 40% of the total marks on both Papers I and II. Reserved Candidates must score at least 35% of the total marks on both Tasks I and II.
Qualifications for the number of Assistant Professor candidates must equal 6% of the total number of candidates appearing in both papers.
The number of JRF candidates qualified must be equal to  1% of the total number of candidates for both papers.
Degree holders who complete the master's degree examination by September 19, 1991 (regardless of the date of publication of the results) will have their total NET grade reduced by 5% (i.e. from 55% to 50%).
The total percentage of both exams I and II in a particular subject (corresponding to the number of places achieved) determines the eligibility criteria for selecting assistant professors in that subject. All other subject-specific eligibility limits are determined in the same manner.

A 5-Step UGC NET Exam Guide (That ANYONE Can Follow)
Among the most famous and well-known national tests is the UGC NET. Every year, thousands of students take this exam to be JRF or assistant professors. This makes the UGC NET exam one of the most difficult exams to crack for higher education. If you want to be eligible, you must adhere to the recommended UGC NET preparation plan. The test preparation advice that experts provide in this blog includes strategies and techniques to aid in your exam preparation.
1. Study the syllabus and exam format carefully:
Your knowledge of the subject-by-subject material you must study to adequately prepare for the UGC NET test will be highly aided by the UGC NET Syllabus and exam format. Thus, as you study, keep track of the curriculum to make sure you don't miss any topics or subtopics. The exam pattern will also give you a sense of how many subjects there will be, the overall number of questions in the test, how long the exam will go for, and how many points each topic will receive. It will also be easier for you to manage your time and find the best strategies to study for the exam if you have a thorough understanding of the UGC NET exam format.
2. Refer to as much material as you can and make your notes:
Reliable UGC NET study material is the next important component of the preparation. There is a tonne of UGC NET practice content available online these days. Additionally, you can access the free PDFs, online videos, and live workshops that can help you prepare better for the UGC NET Exam. But be sure the UGC books or online learning resources you're using are credible and follow the test syllabus. Also, while researching a certain subject, take notes. This will aid in revising and furthering your understanding of the idea. When it comes to studying mathematics or practicing equations, your written notes are helpful. As a result, create distinct, methodical notes for each topic and use them for subsequent revision.
3. Do proper revision and practice through mock tests:
The process of revision is crucial for memory recall. The concepts you have covered for the day should be reviewed frequently. Additionally, it will aid in your long-term memory retention of that certain subject. Additionally, updates aid in your memorization of crucial concepts and formulas. To perfect your practice, use the UGC NET mock exams or previous year's papers. You will become more accustomed to the types of questions on the exam by completing the practice tests. Additionally, it will assist in the evaluation of your degree of preparedness. Additionally, you can regularly review the results of your mock tests to determine your strengths and weaknesses and, consequently, focus your efforts there.
4. Make an effective time management strategy:
The next critical part of exam preparation is time management. Both before and during the exam, you must effectively utilize your time. It's not necessary to study constantly; just be sure to give your study period your complete attention. Split your study time into separate slots for each topic or area. Track your time so that you can finish the complete curriculum. Additionally, you must allow sufficient time for review, tests, and exams. You will be able to successfully use your full energy in this way, answer the most questions possible during the exam, allot distinct time for each area, and clear up any confusion.
5. Do not neglect your physical and mental health:
Many students feel that studying constantly for prolonged periods can help them perform well on the UGC NET exam. However, maintaining a healthy balance between study time and breaks is essential for the best results and productivity. Maintain an optimistic outlook and engage in activities that uplift your spirit and mood. Read some books, meditate or do yoga, listen to upbeat music, or do anything else that makes you feel more confident. You must also spend time with your loved ones and friends. This will assist you in avoiding stress.
These are some general smart tips that you can refer to as a NET exam applicant. Hopefully, these will promise you a good score and favorable results.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has been entrusted with the administration of UGC-NET by the University Grants Commission (UGC). UGC-NET is a test to determine the eligibility of Indian citizens for Assistant Professor, Junior Research Fellowship, and Assistant Professor positions in Indian universities.
As of June 2018, NET of CBSE was implemented in 84 subjects in 91 cities nationwide. For those who pass the assistant professor aptitude test, the assistant professor recruitment regulations of each university, college, and state government will be applied. UGC-NET is held twice a year
They conduct this examination in June and December every year. One of the most challenging exams to master, the exam has a win rate of just 6%.
Tumblr media
6 steps to master UGC NET course
Analyse Curriculum
THE UGC NET exam will be conducted in two sessions (Paper 1 & 2). paper1 contains general aptitude questions and Pape 2 deals with the subject matter in question. Go through the syllabus to identify weak and strong areas. You need to identify what problems you are good at and what problems are difficult.
Time management skills
The main reason for this failure is a lack of time management skills. Ideally, study time depends on the student's learning ability. Each student's ability is different, so start with the basic concepts and get into the habit of sitting for 4 to 5 hours. On a daily basis. Find an expert in this field for exam guidance and coaching.
Try to make notes
Study the syllabus carefully before taking notes on the topic. This allows you to distinguish between what is relevant and what is not. Try to take notes yourself from the beginning. Having all the important points in one place is very helpful during revision
Practice maximum UGC NET Mock Tests
Take the UGC NET mock tests and UGC NET practice questions on this topic. It helps candidates develop appropriate strategies, which usually vary from student to student. This analysis is very important in shaping your final exam performance. Also, take a look at the previous year's papers. This is a very important step in preparing for UGC-NET.
Take a break in between
Stay relaxed and confident while preparing for the UGC-NET exam. Don't stick to books. Try engaging in a variety of activities that will keep you energized and stress-free. Get 6 hours of sleep. Relax, eat well and study with proper dedication.
 Coaching for UGC NET course
Preparing for an exam can be stressful, especially if the exam takes a long time. To reduce this stress, you can join a coaching center. India has both online and offline centers. Here you are profitable because you can meet like-minded people who are already preparing and can solve all your doubts together.

NTA UGC NET Exam Review & Analysis ( 24th June 2019 -Candidate Experience)
New Post has been published on https://ugcnetpaper1.com/nta-ugc-net-june-2019-exam-review/
NTA UGC NET Exam Review & Analysis ( 24th June 2019 -Candidate Experience)
NTA UGC NET 24th June 2019 Exam Analysis & Review (Candidate Experience)
Dear UGC NET Aspirants,
Based on the feedback received from our students on Paper 1 Exam Questions, Details on this page are updated so that others;  whose paper are still due (Going to appear in next two days can take advantage and review their exam strategy).
Please note this page is for information only and based on Candidate Experience in an exam which may not be true in your case.
Heads up! This page will be updated in the next few days to include memory based question based on candidate experiences. Plese, keep visiting this page for updated information.
Was there a change in difficulty level of Paper 1 after Syllabus update?
No there is no change in paper pattern in most of the section, Question patterns were remaining similar to what has been asked in the last few years, Paper was moderate to easy.
Teaching Aptitude – was just OK
Research Aptitude – Few Question are included from the new topic
Communication – Significant no of Question-based on Mass Media & Society (3 Question)
Reading Comprehension – No Changes
DI- this was super easy with tabular data based on sum and percentage concept
Logical reasoning – No Question were asked based on newly added topics of philosophy. Questions were mostly on the basis of syllogism and inference.
Mathematical reasoning – As it is (No Series Question: P)- Mostly based on compound interest, percentage changes, ratio
Higher Education – Questions were asked from new topics included in the syllabus – Mostly from post-India independence & Digital initiative in higher education
People & Env. – Only 2-3 Question was asked
HOW was the Assessment tool experience/TEST Center Experience?
My centre was in Noida, and looks like NTA has learned from previous mistake and process has been improved for the candidate with the mismatch in admit cards were allowed to enter in the exam (Lifesaver for many students).
The overall centre was good.
In terms of testing Tool(Software)- It’s the same TCS-ION with the challenges remain the same in terms of scrolling the Answer option or Question pane.
This the most problematic area as many questions specifically in reading comprehension and DI need multiple scrolls to read the question.
It’s time to raise with NTA to either minimize the line spacing or provide the option to adjust font size !!!!
Category Number of Questions Question asked based on Topics Difficulty Level Unit 1 – Teaching Aptitude 5 Learners ability, Emotional Ability, Discussion method, Inclusive education Moderate Unit 2- Research Aptitude 5 to 6 Research design specification, research report, Manipulation of independent variables Moderate Unit 3 – Reading Comprehension 5 (1 set) Based on Michelangelo’s masterpiece statue “David” Easy to Moderate Unit 4- Communication 4 to 5 Mass Media, Media & Society,  Mass communication and Communication used in group discussion Easy to Moderate Unit 5- Math’s 5 to 6 A little bit tricky than of previous instances – Question was based on Compound interest, percentage, Progression series & Ratio Easy Unit 6 -Logical Reasoning 6 to 7 No Questions were included from new Topics. Questions were based on Syllogism, Arguments, Conclusions. Moderate Unit 7- Data Interpretation 5 (1 set) 1 Simple – Table Based Data interpretation to solve comparison on No of TV Units Sold in last 7 Years Easy Unit 8 -Information & Communication Technology (ICT)/ Computer Knowledge 5 Concept of OS, Virus, Storage Devices, Bluetooth and Memory. Easy Unit 9- People & Environment 2 to 3 Tropical Cyclones, Ozone Layer Moderate Unit 10- Higher Education System: Governance, Polity & Administration/ Current Affairs 3 to 5 Kothari Commission and Other reforms post India independence, Digital Initiative of Higher education, Swayam, MOOC’s, UGC Responsibility Easy to Moderate Total Questions 50 Questions of 2 Marks each   Easy to Moderate
