Wishing you all a Happy New Year! It's the 11th already but it's never too late to wish you all on my first post of 2020. 💚 I had roller-coaster experiences in 2019. Saying bye-bye to my 5-y old job in an international school in Thailand as a Biology and Chemistry teacher with a lucrative salary and comfortable life was not easy. But new challenges and my passion brought me back to India for a while, if not for long. Now, I can give my full time to my travel blogs and vlogs (don't forget to subscribe to www.travelwithshreya.com and my YouTube channel with the same name), can dedicate all my time to India's 1st vegan, eco-friendly, zero-waste travel company @travelloverepeat, and enjoy being the menu-curator, kitchen-head, and QC of India's first vegan community cafe @ubuntucommunity3 - a life where I am just channelling all my energies to my passion. I couldn't be happier. I really want to thank my parents, my friends, my followers, and of course @abhinavegan and @richie.sharma for always believing in my passion and dreams. 💚 I do not have any particular new year resolution or anything like that. The world is burning, the animals are suffering, the climate is changing. This may sound negative, but I can't deny of these. However, instead of cribbing on the problems, let's work on the solutions. Wishing you all a very "HAPPY WORLD VEGAN DAY". I love traveling, and I would like to spend money in traveling, instead of paying for lifestyle diseases borne from terrible eating habits. Basically, I don't wanna pay medical bills, hence I am a vegan. Of course, gradually it all got connected to environmental reasons and animal welfare as well, but reason can be any, it doesn't matter much. We had an eventful weekend at Ubuntu Community and Kolkata. Saturday we hosted Dr. Sailesh Rao @veganworld2026 and screened his new powerful documentary *A Prayer for Compassion* at Ubuntu Share space. Thanks to @sumana__ And @pareensachdeva For organizing. Sunday, UC team along with 100s of Compassionate humans marched for non-human animals organized by @veganindiamovement . It was a powerful walk for animal rights and animal liberation.
