Once I saw a food influencer showing how he makes breakfast for his two kids. In the voice over, he mentions that the eldest doesn't care how eggs are cooked while the youngest does, and at the end of the video he presents the breakfasts side by side, and it's almost comical the difference:

one was a regular plate of scrambled eggs and the other was, like, a proper $18 avocado toast with a perfectly-centered jammy yolk fried egg and freshly ground black pepper artfully scattered in an approximate golden ratio of density

Unsurprisingly, the comments section was filled with people saying things like "hey man.... you probably didn't do it on purpose, but this looks like you like one of your kids more." and "the first kid is absolutely just saying they don't care because they don't want to be a bother, kids actually do this a lot"

All this to say, while I didn't see him like or reply to any of those comments, I hope his kid gets nice eggs next time

Update day for Dreamlight Valley.

This time, the door to Wonderland opens.

Wish I'd thought to take more pictures, but I kept getting distracted by the quests.

Also, kept getting lost. Much as I love open-world games, my sense of direction is terrible.

Here's a little pencil bird, at least. I could not get a good angle on the Cheshire Cat. Guess he's camera shy.

At the end of it all, Alice came home to the Valley.

In addition to the "Alice in Wonderland" things, like the Star Path that has the blue caterpillar (in butterfly form) as a reward...

They've started adding "Star Wars" items, at least to the Premium shop.

Do I think they look a little out-of-place against the Valley's fairytale vibe? Yes.

Have I been saving up my moonstones for R2-D2 since the announcement? Also yes.

I mean, look!

I've always had a soft spot for cute robots, and R2 was probably the start of that.

While I pray for the safety of my package (which got delivered at my front door 20 minutes before my class (which usually ends at 3:45, but today ended at 3) started, the class which after I needed to go to the allergist) I think once I actually get home (hopefully with the package still there) I might try a way to keep myself focused on actually. Finishing. Some assignments. That are already due.
