officially done with recreating part of the moon nexus set from the dragon prince!
it took longer than i hoped because i was too busy + there's only so much you can do with limited references and only like.. 2 photos to base yourself off for the design and measurements lmao
i'm proud of it though!! here are some rendered photos i made <3
modeling software: sketchup
rendering software: vray
+ bonus: as for this one, it was more of something i thought i would like to add to the already finished design. i figured that with all the moon magic things they had going on in the nexus they would have some sort of light for the temples, so i added it to the little moon arcanum symbols at the top of each one
if you'd like to see my process (struggles) here is the post where everything started

I decided to put my (limited) 3D knowledge to use outside of work, so this year I have forced myself to finish something, and behold: my first ever finished project, and the first posted "artwork" online.
Not happy with it at all, there are a lot of mistakes visible, however the purpose of it was to finish something, and I had fun working on the one and only - Maul. Nevertheless, any feedback is appreciated.
I was actually inspired to make something of my own by all of you beautiful & talented people of Tumblr with I follow and enjoy.
Some details: softwares used are in the tags.
I have edited the render passes in Fusion, and the results are not exactly what I wanted. But I used Fusion because I want to learn it, and I don't have access to Photoshop or After Effects (which I know how to use much better).
I also made some blend shapes for the eyes, mouth and nose - for practice - but in all images I used a more angry look rather than relaxed.
The model is not very realistic, I gravitated more towards the Clone Wars look.
Also edited an earlier version in Photoshop when I had access to it. The skin texture is dirtier but the edit is better.
