Well, at least they had the decency to apologize. Still, it only mollified things so much. Xaallo snorted, " Sorry isn't going to bind this wound." Which was deep, if the amount of blood was any evidence. It was interesting how she separated herself from that beast, but the buck only dwelled on the fact for a moment.

" Murder isn't my go-to solution. Something your furry friend and I differ on greatly." The buck shrugs and turns his gaze away when she moves and some of the leaves fall off of her. His nose wrinkles up, not in anger, but in fluster. Fortunately, he doesn't have any visible skin to give him away.

" I found you like that. Na-- uh. Without clothes. Wherever your gear is it's along way from here."

She does note the splatter of silver and peculiar coloring. Having never been to the Hammerfell, she doesn't recognize the additional scent thrown in the mix, nor any likeness to it. Val starts when she notices the figure sitting across a ways from her, reflexively flinching back... Then relaxing as curiosity replaces the wariness.

If he was a threat, he would've attacked her by now. Though, it was strange — she'd never seen a minotaur in Skyrim. Cyrodiil, yes, but she was quite certain she wasn't there. Still, with the way her head was spinning... It was difficult to be certain.

She rubs her fingers harder into her temples, ruby-red eyes flicking downwards to an extended hoofed leg. A bite, just big enough to be from her. That in addition to the silver... She comes to her conclusion quickly.

“Um... Sorry.” She sat up better without care to the leaves that were meant to protect her modesty, wiping the back of her hand across her mouth, then inspecting it. “You look like a deer, so I guess I — uh, I guess she assumed...”

Reflexively, she reaches down as if to grasp something off her belt, then belatedly remembers she was, indeed, nude. Too bad she had no magic to speak of here. “If I can just get to my gear... I could get a potion for you.” Valvossa looked up at him curiously, arching a brow. “So — is there a reason you didn't try to kill me?”

this feels like something kinda up your alley and youve inspired a lot of the realism in my tes writing lately, so! it occurred to me that the dunmer could use dwemeris the same way we use latin and ancient greek, like for scientific terms and taxonomy and such? even though canonical sources on dwemeris are lacking this idea remains very stuck in my head lol

basically,. im not sure if youre familiar with vvardvarks? one of 1% of eso creature designs i actually enjoy. anyway i’d wanted to see what i could do about the cute but silly name etymology to fit my own tes worldbuilding. obviously irl its vvardenfell + aardvark, and in-universe seemingly vvardenfell + varkenel, the telvanni guy who created them. but much to my delight “vvarden” by itself is just dwemeris for “strong shield”, and of course vvardvarks are covered in little “shields” i.e. their pangolin-esque scales. not sure if the eso creatives made this connection.. x doubt etc. but i came up with “vvardenarkngd” as a sort of scientific name, which more or less means “gifted with strong shield[s]”. i imagine that the colloquial vvardvark came from a corruption of vvardenarkngd over time. thats all ive actually done so far but it did really hit me that using dwemeris as the dunmer equivalent of how we use latin is kind of a cool concept!

anyway.. i hope this isnt too random or irrelevant but i just wanted to share as a way to thank you for inspiring me to think about tes and tes languages in deeper ways!! i dont think i ever would have if it werent for some of your stories/worldbuilding. so i hope you and/or your followers at least find this neat or that i can inspire someone else in turn!

I know you made alistair a warden in your playthrough but I'm curious, what are your thoughts on him being king? And what are they on him marrying anora?

ive talked about how i feel about making alistair king here.

objectively, i think anora and alistair marrying and ruling jointly is politically the most sound option. it avoids the look of putting the grey wardens in power that i think comes with queen cousland and i guess anora and alistair are more likely to conceive than two grey wardens. and ofc that brings more stability than anora or alistair ruling independently....(tho i did notice that anora’s independent codex is much more favourable than an independent alistair’s? and eamon is nowhere to be found? hmmm) (tho ive seen people talk about how alistair would find it easier to relate to the common people of ferelden, which is true, but i honestly think that anora is perfectly capable of that too? its explicitly stated that shes popular, and she’s literally the daughter of a farm holder turned rebel and a cabinet maker. i know she was raised as nobility but at the same time i don’t think she has grown that far from her roots in just one generation)

i know a lot of people like to think of alistair and anora eventually falling in love over time and thats fine, but personally i just really don’t vibe with having anora marry her dead husband’s brother, especially when at first the suggestion makes her so uncomfortable. also...alistair is such a romantic i think he would be happier with someone who is a bit softer and more romantically inclined than anora seems to be. personally i just cant picture them being happy together, especially if loghain is allowed to live

Delphine is a character I actually really like. She’s morally grey and I’ve spent hours writing about her privately. Idk why she just captures my attention so much but! I really love her, if you were to write about her I’d love to see it :)

My drunk Serena headcanon: she lets her guard down when she’s drunk so she prefers not to drink but on special occasions, if she feels safe, she can get wasted and is the most adorable laughy drunk (also if she’s the ldbs partner she’s VERY cuddly)

i guessssssss it makes sense lmao and fair enough if you wanna do that but i guess i just picture her as taking after her mother mostly and then having some of loghain’s features, specifically his nose, jaw and chin
