Herkes ararken ben buldum seni
Ve artık benimsin
Kimse göremezken ben gördüm seni
Sen kayıp şehirsin
Nasıl böyle güzel olabilirsin?
Kimse göremezken ben gördüm seni
Ve artık benimsin
Öylece durur, susar ve güler
Kimseler duyamaz
Kimseler göremez seni
Sen kayıp şehirsin
Herkes kaçarken ben ben bulurum seni
Ve artık benimsin
Ben görürüm, ben duyarım seni
Sen kayıp şehirsin
Kimseler göremezken ben gördüm seni
Ve artık benimsin
Kimseler duyamazken ben duydum seni

Retro Corner: Vay (Sega CD) Review
A new edition of Retro Corner Reviews is up, and we finally tackle a Sega CD game called Vay that was a JRPG. Developed by Hertz who are known for putting together the Genesis port of Outrun was tasked to produce a traditional role playing game. When it came to RPGs in general, the Mega Drive was a distant second to the Super NES that had hosted many titles of the genre. That forced Sega to produce their own games like Phantasy Star to make up for the lack of these titles. It is one of the reasons the House of Sonic wanted to release their own CD add-on beyond trying to stay competitive. While Compact Disks as a format was the next thing for gaming, Sega was obviously trying to get the genre on their platform. This was to entice third parties to develop on the Sega CD using the more advanced technology then the base system couldn’t perform. As history tells us, that didn’t work out for the House of Sonic for more than just this genre. Despite getting a string of decent games, the addon’s lineup was nowhere near the quality of the Super NES’s JRPG library.
For Vay it is titled this based on the plot about an advanced alien mech crashing on a planet that was still developing. Over a thousand years ago, a battle was waged far from most civilized planets in space. In the midst of the war, one lone large mech veered off randomly straight into unknown space after its pilot was killed. It eventually crashed on a world that was still primitive in a medieval age and on auto pilot the advanced armor attempts to destroy all life across the planet. Eventually, five of the powerfullest wizards cast a spell to subdue and seal away the advanced mechanized armor. After a millennium had passed a marriage between a prince named Sandor was set to marry his lover Elin to ensure the Lorath Kingdom was secure. However, his kingdom was unaware the Danek Empire was staging an invasion using technology from the legend to attack and kidnap Elin. Now, Sandor must brave an adventure to save his lover and stop the Danek Empire from its conquest across the world. The gameplay follows the traditional format that many studios used regardless of what quality they were. Can the studio of Hertz redeem their previous work?

Author chan: You know, I cant really even hate Vay for how he treats Blizz because his reasoning is solid.
what? how is his reasoning solid?
Author chan: Hmm, well. Let's look at things from Vay's perspective. Ofc, what he said to Blizz is not okay, but. Lets look at Blizz's actions up to this point and how Vay is feeling right now.
It all starts in the jobs chapter. I believe this is the chapter that characterizes Blizz the most negatively, it shows his headspace before this current group of chapters, even though we don't get the full story of why he is acting this way.
But, First of all
Lets go into "If you step on a crack"
Vay here is clearly in distress about his height. Dusk makes him happy to the point where his eyes glow, and then...
Blizz out of literally nowhere pops in
And makes Vay cry. Bolt ad Dusk are able to see that Vay is upset, Blizz is totally oblivious.
ok, so, anyways. Jobs chapter.
We see here that Blizz is not in attendance to the meeting. Vay isn't either ofc, but this will come up later.
When Blizz was asked why he wasn't in attendance, he says this
then its revealed that HE HIMSELF is one of the reasons why they had to pay a huge amount of $$$, because he punched a hole in the sky wall.
When Eve lists off the things other Icedrop eevees did, Blizz seems apathetic towards the things until he hears what they did to his Baby, the computer
and then. in front of the MANY eevees in their brotherhood
He criticizes Vay. He, the Deputy who doesn't seem to WANT to do anything, tells Vay that he isn't doing his job.
He, the deputy who was not at the meeting himself, asks Vay why he wasn't at the meeting and why Eve was alone.
He tells Vay that when HE was leader, things were better, that Vay was making things worse basically
and then when Vay asks him why cant he take the leadership back
He says this ^^^
Calling him a bad leader and saying everyone hates him while hugging him affectionately. Vay is understandably angry.
and then afterwards
Vay walks through the crowd of eevees as they praise Blizz and bash him.
and then like, after Vay was publicly embarrassed, Here comes Blizz
After being absolutely condescending to him and ridiculing him, who is the LEADER, in front of everyvee. Blizz says "Oh, its ok! :D Vay is doing his best!! :D I'm sure he was doing something important!! :D" Ok Blizz so why are you saying that AFTER making a fool of Vay in front of everyvee in your brotherhood??? and calling him a bad leader??? OH OK BLIZZ
So. Now lets go to the great Vay chase
Where Blizz suddenly grabs Vay's tail and unknowingly makes him have a PTSD panic attack, making Vay run off crying then CHASING HIM
Ultimately ending with Vay collapsing on the floor and making Vay decide to send Nego away.
And when he is lonely, you know what he does?
He stops in front of Blizz's door. And remembers that, despite everything, Blizz cares for him.
And! its important to note that Vay remembers times AFTER Blizz lost his memory as well. Why? Because their seems to be the misconception that Vay doesn't care for current Blizz, but if thats the case, why would he be thinking about him here?
So. Vay Gives Blizz a chance. He goes to him, despite everything. But. guess what happened to that chance?
...
The meeting chapter.

~Gittim~
Yüzüme yağdırır bakışlarını
Canım yanıyor ama gözlerine
Boş vermiş belli ki beni
Akıllıca ama biraz da deli
Sen her zaman oradaydın
Bir yere gitmemiştin
Sen tüm gece ordaydın
Gitmemiştin
Ama ben gitmiştim senin yanından acımasızca
Yalnız başına bırakmıştım seni
Bir başına bırakmıştım seni
Rüzgar eser, sen ordayken
Saçların uçuşur rüzgar eserken
Gitme dedin gittim
Hiç arkama bakmadan
Bazıları böyleydi
Acımasız ve düşüncesiz
Ben de onlardan biriydim
Yanlış kişiydim
Diğerleri gibi
Ama ait olamadım
Hiç bir zaman
Hiç bir yere
Gittim
Bıraktım seni
Arkama bakmadım
Çok acımasızdım
Bunu göremedim
Gittim
Ardımda bıraktım seni
Ardımda bıraktığım enkazı görmeden gittim
Sen yıkıldın
Ben dimdik durdum
Ama hissettim
Kalbine saplanan zehirli hançerleri
***
