Portland Button Works and The Spiral House Shop 2023 Vending Events!

The Spiral House shop)at Portland Button Works is a thoughtfully curated selection of pin-back buttons, magnets, incense, magical tools and a large selection of zines, & books. Our collection spans a diverse range of intriguing subjects such as magic, witchcraft, folklore, folk horror, and other occult curiosities.

We are excited to announce that we will be vending at a variety of events this year! We can't wait to share our selection of books and zines with the community and connect with like-minded individuals and we are looking forward to meeting new people and building new relationships.

Visit us at Saratoga Pride A Big Gay Market!

Duck Prints Press is visiting Saratoga Springs for the first time this Sunday! Last week, on September 15th, Saratoga celebrated Pride, and they’re keeping the queer coming with this pop-up A Big Gay Market this weekend – Sunday, September 22nd from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Over 50 vendors will be setting up in High Rock Park Pavilions (where the farmer’s market is held!) and erecting tents in the surrounding fields (I’ll be in the pavilion). I was vending at the First Friday Art Walk in Portland once and I had a lady walk up to my table all like 'I HAVE YOUR ALARMS!! THEY JUST WENT OFF!!' and I honored her purchase haha but like... that's the only time I think I've given one out :""D So if u ever stop by, I'll give u one too ^^

But yeah! Love meeting fellow Mainers ^^ When the Art Walk season picks up again, I'll be back in Portland and other local spots vending!

Upcoming Event: Boskone!

We’re coming up on Duck Prints Press’s next vending appearance – we’ll be back at the Westin Boston Seaport District, this time in the vendors room for Boskone on February 9th through 11th! Boskone is the flagship convention for the New England Science Fiction Association (NESFA), and special guests at this year’s convention include Ben Aaronovitch, Emily Hurst Pritchett, and John Scalzi. There’ll also be over 30 vendors, an author’s alley, an art show, and of course scads of cool panels!

One of the authors we work with, Tris Lawrence, will also be in attendance, participating in panels and signing books. You can check out her schedule here.

We’re really excited to be heading back to Boston again, and hopeful that we’ll see some familiar faces from Arisia and meet some new folks too. If you’re gonna be there, make sure you come and say hi!
