Increase security and hospitality with visitor management system
Tumblr media
Nowadays, the biggest concern of any office or organization is security.Everywhere, it is now essential that no one enter without authorization. In such a situation, the visitor management system has become an excellent method. It not only increases security, but also keeps a record of the visiting guests in a proper manner, so that everyone knows who came when and why.
Complete information of every visitor in one place
Earlier, where the visitor's information had to be written by hand, due to which mistakes or errors occurred, now everything has become digital. In the visitor management system, the name, mobile number, arrival time and information of the person to be met are recorded in a very clear manner. This information is immediately available when needed, which makes work easier.
Increase in work with security
When there is a record of every visitor, security automatically becomes stronger. Also, the employees also know who has come to their office. This allows entry of any unknown person to be stopped immediately. It also makes the work of the reception staff easier as the system does most of the work automatically.
Guest reception is now even better
Visitor management systems provide digital passes or permissions to guests, which also makes them comfortable. These small steps enhance hospitality and make the image of the organization professional and modern. Guests feel that they are being welcomed with great attention and system.
Conclusion:
In today's era, it has become very important to adopt a visitor management system for security and orderliness. It not only increases security, but also makes the functioning of the office smooth and improves the experience of guests. This is a smart and necessary step for any organization that wants a safe and organized environment.

Visitor Management System: Now guests will be entered in a smart way
Tumblr media
Imagine you go to an office or school and a guard at the gate takes out a register and makes you write down your name and address. Neither is your identity checked properly, nor is any record saved properly. Now times have changed, and with it there is a need for a better way – which is called Visitor Management System.
Now every visitor's information in one click
Where earlier entries were made with paper and pen, now all the information is saved in the system. As soon as someone comes to the gate, his name, number, photo, ID proof – everything is recorded digitally. Nothing is missed and there is no need to ask again.
Safety first, other things later
In today's era, security is the most important. If this is not there, even a small mistake can cause great harm. Visitor Management System ensures that the complete account of every visitor is in the record. If ever needed, even the old data can be easily found.
Guests also feel professional environment
When a visitor comes to an institution and gets a digital gate pass or sees his name on the screen, he will feel that he has come to a professional place. This also improves the visitor's experience and also improves the image of the institution.
Freedom from the hassle of paper
Writing everything in the register not only takes time but also wastes paper. Adopting a digital system makes work faster and also protects the environment. That means two benefits together - work is easy and paper is saved.
In the end
If people from outside come to your institution every day, then now is the time to make things a little smart. Visitor management system not only increases security, but also makes work professional and easy. This is what is needed in today's era - smart and safe system.

TruNtrance: Redefining Employee Activity Monitoring & Time Attendance
Tumblr media
Even in the age of technological innovations, employee monitoring and tracking have become a cumbersome issue. Enterprises not only have to install sophisticated and costly specialized hardware systems but are also required to learn about the challenging functions they incorporate.
The complicated view of the location tracking software increases the burden on HR and administrative department staff. Even after such a chaotic learning process, the employee tracking systems remain vulnerable to spoofing and tampering with activities.
Activities like buddy punching lead to the wrongful calculation of wages, especially for a contractual and remote workforce. Besides, they also give a wrongful impression of the employee's productivity hours and refrain the more productive workers from coming into the limelight.
We at Biocube understand the severity of the worker management system and cater to the growing demands of enterprises with our newest feature of activity monitoring. Our new feature not only gives a clear picture of workers' overall productive hours but also enhances the security and convenience of the enterprise.
TruNtrance Real-Time Activity Monitoring & Tracking is a Must for Your Enterprise!
TruNtrance is an employee attendance, visitor access management, and activity monitoring solution that streamlines workforce attendance at the premises or remotely. It enhances the visitor experience with its facial recognition technology.
Recently, Biocube incorporated a new feature in Employee Activity Monitoring into the app to enhance the dashboard experience of HR and admin staff while revamping worker security and convenience.
The new feature allows an employee or a contractual worker to mark an activity like event visitation, arrival/departure from a remote location, meeting, etc, with spoofproof face recognition. It will accurately capture the geolocation of the employee whenever it detects a registered face.
To put simply, the employee activity monitoring systems use face recognition to mark the geolocation and activity start & end durations. It comes with built-in liveness detection, military-grade AES 256 encryption, distributed data architecture, and geofencing.
Hence, it leaves no room for tampering or spoofing, and the employee is required to be present at the location to mark the activity. The dashboard would reveal insights like the types of activities, time spent on each activity, and more. Moreover, the dashboard is fully customizable to curate insights desired by organizational stakeholders.
Thinking About Geo-Attendance?
Geo-attendance has become a trending topic in the attendance management market. However, such a solution needs to be more accurate. Theoretically, it marks employee activity or attendance whenever the worker arrives at the location or checks out from it. Anyone can tamper with it, as any other coworker can carry the device. Therefore, we came up with a system to resolve the geo attendance.
Our next-gen geolocation system seamlessly tracks and monitors the activities using the face of the registered user. As mentioned above, it has no room for tampering or spoofing because it inhibits many security features. It also incorporates an additional "Notes" feature that eases the burden of the employees who continuously engage in remote or fieldwork.
Conclusion
Employee activity tracking and monitoring is an essential part of organizations. Knowing about time spent on each activity helps to curate accurate wages of remote or temporary employees. Moreover, it helps in understanding the time required to complete an activity.
Such information can be helpful in deciphering decisions that can boost the productivity of the employee and benefit the organization. Biocube has recently incorporated a new feature of Activity driven by face recognition and geolocation tracking.
The new feature helps to derive insights that are usable by administrative and HR departments. Get in touch with us today to see the feature in action and learn more about the ways through which we can enhance your organization's efficiency.

P. R Nightmare
Series summary: A public relations job typically involves managing an individual or organisation’s reputation and building relationships with the public and media. It generally does not include superheros, terrorist organisations, middle-aged Russian super soldiers who breach media regulations and crushing on a client/ coworker.
This is a Robert (Bob) Reynolds x fem!reader series
Warnings: fem!reader, afab!reader, no specific details about reader appearance are given. Specific warnings will be provided at each chapter.
After battling the New York subway system — which you’re pretty sure had a vendetta against you — you’d made it to your office later than you’d liked. There had been no time to stop and grab a coffee and breakfast from your favourite little cafe near your office, so you’d have to contend with a stale granola bar that you were hoping was still buried in your desk behind some notebooks and a coffee from the communal kitchen.
“You’re late,” your assistant whispered as you walked in.
“I know, I know.”
“There’s someone in your office.”
“What? Who?” You were certain you didn’t have any meetings until at least 11am, you glanced towards your office where you could make out the shape of someone sitting in front of your desk.
“Congressman Barnes, he’s even more handsome since the last time he came by.”
“Aren’t you married, Dorris?” You smirked, she’d been nursing a crush on him since he’d last stopped by your office.
“Barry doesn’t need to know,” Dorris waved her hand dismissively, smirking as she answered her phone.
While it wasn’t uncommon to find someone waiting for you in your office most mornings, most visitors didn’t come bearing a steaming hot cup of coffee, “You join a new team and you’ve given up on the suits? You’ll break Giuseppe’s heart.”
“He’ll live, I’m sure you’ve referred other senators to his tailoring and I’m pretty sure you get a kick back on each suit he makes,” the man chuckled as he watched you walk around your desk and take a seat. “Hi kid.”
“What do you need Barnes?” You lean forward, resting your head on your hands, offering a wry smile, “I doubt you’re here to discuss the finer points of haberdashery?”
“I’m here to offer you a job,” Bucky says, placing your coffee in front of you.
“Last time you offered me a job, you wanted me to help you impeach Valentina de Fontaine,” you eyed Bucky as you took a sip of your coffee. Valentina had been a little too good at covering her tracks for anything solid to actually stick, the hunt for anything incriminating had dragged on for months. “Is this caramel?” you asked, savouring your first mouthful of good coffee.
“Of course,” Bucky sighed, running a hand through his hair. “This time it’s a little less…political. The team needs an assistant, someone to handle the public relations.”
“Really? You were all doing so well,” you smirked. “I saw the Wheaties boxes.”
“Alexei’s idea.”
“The Russian guy?”
“It was his dream,” Bucky shrugs. As he stands he places a file on your desk, “Think about it”
You watched him leave your office before picking up the file, it contained a dossier for every member of the Thunderbolts.
Bucky’s was first, heavily redacted as you’d expected. You knew a little of his past, or at least what he had shared with you while you had helped him with his campaign, but he had kept the details of what had happened while he was under control of Hydra to himself.
John Walker. Former decorated army ranger and Captain America for a short time before the murder of a civilian in a public setting led to his less than honourable discharge.
Yelena Belova. Former Red Room trained assassin with the Black Widow, working as a contract killer for Valentina before the Thunderbolts.
Alexei Shostakov. The Red Guardian, Captain America’s counterpart in Russia. The one behind the Wheaties box…and ‘encouraging’ people in supermarkets to buy them.
Ava Starr. S.H.I.E.L.D operative turned mercenary who could phase through objects due to a constant state of molecular disequilibrium. You made a mental note to look that up later.
And…Bob? You turned Bob’s, Robert Reynolds’s, part of the file over to find that the page in your hand, containing next to no information about the man, was it. There was a picture — he was cute in a boy next door kind of way — and a few sparse details about the man but nothing more.
You quickly closed the file as your office door slammed open, your 11am meeting had finally arrived. Some trust fund baby who wanted you to fix his public image to keep him out of prison. He was charged with several assault counts, all of which he argued were the other person's fault and daddy’s money had brought him two hours of your time.
After his time was up, he had offered you his number like it was some kind of reward. You declined and dialed a familiar contact.
“Barnes? When do you need me to start?”

(Eventual)Reader x Matt Murdock x Frank Castle

*I never give permission for my fics, manips, or any other original creation I post on Tumblr to be copied, posted elsewhere, translated, or fed into any AI program. The only platforms I currently post on are Tumblr and AO3. Thanks!*
You weren’t aware of the beauty that was sleeping on silk sheets until you started dating Matt, now cool against your skin as you sat in your bed with your computer propped on your lap. You scrolled through yet another parenting forum, now contemplating if getting your placenta crushed into capsules and eating them was really a health benefit or just a bunch of malarkey.
“I don’t know baby girl, sounds gross.” you commented, hand rubbing at your abdomen. You and Matt had both begun the habit of regularly speaking to the baby and it filled you with delight that she would come out already knowing your voices.
Your 16 week appointment went incredibly well, sonogram finally starting to show something that actually looked like a baby and not a blob to you. You giddily chuckled as you picked it up from the night stand beside you and gave it a glance.
She was gonna be cute. And probably trouble. Just like her dad.
You shook your head at the thought of a mini Murdock running around and went back to your readings just as Matt stepped into the room. You did a double take as you looked up at him, incredibly surprised to see him not in his sweatpants as he was a few minutes ago when you were in the kitchen, but clad in his crimson Daredevil suit.
“Matt, what are you doing? We agreed you weren’t going to look for Frank anymore.”
“I’m not.” Matt said, lips pursed as he fiddled with his gloves
“Well it’s not exactly a kink I thought I’d have, but if you want to let the devil out on me…” you joked laying back seductively, hoping Matt would chuckle with you.
He didn’t.
“Something happened. Remember the Ayala girl?”
“Hector’s niece? Yeah.”
Of course you remembered the tragic case Matt had wrapped up a few weeks ago. Securing the freedom of an innocent man only for him to be murdered less than two days later. It was the exact type of incident that Matt explained to you made him take up the vigilante life in the first place; he used the system the right way for justice and still an innocent person lost to corruption.
“Well she visited me today at work.”
“Is she okay?” you asked
“I don’t know. She said something about her Uncle tracking something before he died. I told her to let the police handle it, but she didn’t want to listen.”
“Okay? What’s that have to do with Daredevil?”
“She just texted me. An address. I think she’s about to do something dangerous.”
“So call the police.”
“No.” he shook his head with a grimace “That did a lot of good with her Uncle.”
“Matt—”
You threw the duvet off yourself and followed him as he headed down the hall. His heavy footsteps echoed on the hardwood floors as he walked away from you with determination. You weren’t about to just let him go out with no information about it.
“Sweetheart, I need to handle this. I’m sorry.” Matt called behind him to you, still making his way toward the balcony with no falter in his step. He retched the door open, letting in the cool night breeze.
“What are you walking in to?”
“I’m not sure.”
“So you’re just going in blindly?”
“I have to.”
“Matt!” you shouted
Your voice practically echoed and the silence that followed was almost as loud, with little other noise around as the city began to wind down for the evening.
It was enough to stop him in his tracks as he turned to face you. You hoped since Matt could now hear the heartbeat, it was coming through strong and clearly. Hoping your baby girl was giving you an extra assist in persuading him to stay.
“What if you get hurt? What am I—” you cupped the base of your stomach “—what are we supposed to do?”
“I won’t.”
“You don’t know that.” you scoffed
“Sweetheart, I can’t argue right now—”
“So I’m supposed to just let this happen? Let you walk into unknown danger and what? You just expect me to be okay with it? You have a family now, Matt!”
“I know. And I love you and I care about you more than anything in the world, but right now Angela is in danger. She’s just a kid and she needs me.”
“In need you Matt. Here. With me and our child. Safe.”
“What if this was our child!? How do you think her Aunt feels right now!? Soledad is probably worried sick!”
You tugged at the sleeves of Matt’s Columbia sweatshirt, wrapping your arms around yourself. The air was brisk from the breeze that kept blowing in as the two of you stood in a stale mate, Matt one foot out the door and you pleading for him to stay. The sigh that escaped your lips was heavy. He was right. If it was your baby in danger you’d want someone, anyone to save her.
“Okay. So, you help her; you find her and save her from the very unknown and possibly dangerous variable and then what? Is this a one time thing or are you back? What happens if you just find more questions than answers tonight and need to keep going out and—”
“Honey, I can’t answer that. Look, I don’t have time for this right now.”
“Then when will you?” you continued to push
“I’m not exactly thinking about you or the baby right now, it’s just about—”
“Oh, I got that loud and clear, asshole.”
Frustration surged in Matt’s veins, apparent by the the tick in his jaw and the way his fists clenched at his sides. Angry that you couldn’t see his point and exasperation that you were resorting to sarcasm and venomous words to make your point.
“I can not live with myself if I just let her go in there and get hurt or die. Deliver those who are staggering to slaughter, for if you do not speak out to warn them then I will hold you responsible for their blood.”
“I’m too tired for the Catholic guilt right now, so cut the shit Matt.”
“Sweetie, this is who I am. I know you haven’t really seen it until now, but it used to be a big part of my life… “ he trailed off
The life before you. The one he was keeping guarded. He stopped being Daredevil for a reason; a reason he wouldn’t fully tell you. But you knew it involved someone he cared about getting hurt. If he cared about Foggy that much, couldn’t he extend the same courtesy to you? Not put himself in harms way to prevent you from getting hurt if something happened to him? If he wanted to raise this baby right, you knew he needed to face the demons of his past and let them go in order to move forward with his child. But he was so unwilling to open up, so stubborn to not let the things that hurt him also hurt you. They were anyway, him keeping closed off only making it worse. Like hot lava bubbling up from a dormant volcano, oozing out to the surface in the form of the Devil of Hell’s Kitchen.
He stripped his gloves off, stepping forward to cradle your face in his hands.
“I was Matt Murdock the lawyer. And I was Daredevil. And I was damn good at both. And I need you to accept that.”
“Matt. I love you. But this is not just something you can spring on me and expect me to be okay with.”
Now? You’re telling him now? You absolute buffoon—
Matt winced, had the audacity to wince, at you finally admitting you loved him. You cleared your throat and continued, trying to calm the still growing rage in your voice.
“If you were planning on going back out as Daredevil, it should have at least been a discussion before it became an emergency situation.”
“You don’t get to decide what I can or can’t do.”
“I’m the mother of your child Matthew! I think I should at least get a say if my baby’s father wants to put himself in potentially fatal danger!”
“Your baby’s father might be Frank, which would be worse in the danger department if we’re being honest.”
Acid in an open wound would have stung less than him bringing that up now. You bit your lip, unable to control the tears that began flowing. Cowering away, you shook your head and stayed silent.
“I love you too.” he finally replied, taking a step towards you and placing a kiss on your forehead “I’ll be back soon. Don’t wait up.”
Then he turned, put on his helmet, and walked out the door.
You’d lost count around hour 3 just how many times you had done a lap around the apartment, pacing anxiously until Matt returned.
‘Don’t wait up.’
What a dick statement. Of course you were going to wait up. Like you could ever possibly sleep being worried sick and watching the clock as the minutes ticked on.
Eventually you were able to at least sit in bed, resuming your scrolling of mommy blogs but not really able to focus on any of the words you were reading in a feeble attempt to distract yourself.
It was almost 2AM when you heard the sliding glass door from the balcony open and shut. You leapt out of bed and trudged down the hall, bare feet cold on the hardwood. Would he be hurt? How badly? Would he still be angry with you?
When you rounded the corner you jumped back at the sight before you. A figure taller and larger than Matt was leaning against the kitchen island, slouched over and grunting in pain. The moon was the only thing lighting the apartment right now and you were having trouble making out the details of the person before you. The only thing clear to you was that it was not Matt who was standing before you bloodied and bruised.
As he stepped forward, keeping a hand against the counter for support, you were able to get a better look at him. Your eyes locked into his and you both stood there silently.
Frank.
His grizzly beard was damp for some reason, droplets reflecting the moonlight coming in through the large windows. He’d grown his hair out since you last saw him, clearly not caring about his appearance as much based on how tangled and unkempt it looked. The way his eyes softened nearly melted you on the spot as he realized it was you in front of him. They didn’t distract you enough to not notice how hollow they sat on his face, whatever he’d been up to in the months since clearly taking a toll. Plenty of cuts and bruises were littered across his cheeks and nose. He looked in an even worse state than you imagined Matt would be coming home in, holding a hand to the side of his neck as crimson liquid flowed between his fingers.
Shit. That’s why his beard was wet. It was blood.
“Baby?” he managed to weakly croak out, before collapsing onto the ground
The reverberation from his body hitting the floor finally broke you from your shock and you rushed toward him, sliding onto your knees to pick his head up and assess.
His neck gushed blood from an open wound, sticky and warm beneath your fingers while you applied pressure as hard you could muster. His nearly unconscious form was boneless as you tried frantically to stabilize him. Heavy in your arms, you struggled to hold him steady and also tend to his injury.
“Matt! Help! Matt!” you screamed into the night as loudly as your voice could manage, hoping he was close enough to hear and come home.
You’d thought a lot about what you’d do if you ever saw Frank again. In the days after he disappeared, your mind wandered into the what ifs. If you ever saw him again, would you be angry? Or sad? Contemplating the outcomes, you figured you’d either scream at him or let your fists do the talking. Or maybe you’d just cry. Or by some miracle by the time your paths crossed again, you’d have healed enough and moved on, totally unbothered by his presence. Would you tell him about his possible child? Or be so happy with Matt that it wouldn’t be worth it?
You never thought it would happen like this. All the hours you’d spent pacing your apartment, verbalizing the things you’d say in one sided conversations with yourself. All the fear, the anger, the sadness, the hurt. It all flew out the window in this moment.
All you wanted to do right now was not lose him.
Frank clearly came here seeking Matt’s help, not expecting to find you instead. Fuck, you wished he was home right now. You wished he hadn’t gone out tonight. You didn’t know the first thing about first aid. There was a baby CPR seminar the two of you were going to attend in a few weeks, but you didn’t think it would possibly cover something like this. With all his years experience stitching up his dad and fixing his own injuries from Daredeviling, Matt was much better equipped to help. You were panicking, not calm in a crisis like he was.
What did you do? Keep putting pressure on the wound and hope Matt got home in time to save him? Leave Frank and risk him bleeding out to find your phone and call an ambulance that also might not get there soon enough? Was it already too late? Would you lose him?
Frank reached up, a hand stained in ruby caressing your face as you stared into his eyes. They fluttered open and closed, fading in and out of consciousness as he grunted beneath you in agony. He looked paler by the second, face draining of color beneath your shaky fingers. The shock was apparent in his face; at the sight of you or at the pain he was in, who was to say? Unable to speak, his mouth opened and closed with gasps as if he were a fish struggling outside of water.
You were losing him.
“Frank. Please, Frank. Stay with me.” you begged
He writhed in your embrace, kicking his heavy boots against the ground in suffering and confusion.
And then he was still.

It's time for some Look Outside posting. Are you ready?
I'll be analyzing the mechanics of the Visitor's effects a bit. Sam meets most everyone in the apartment building, and often gets firsthand accounts from them too, so we have a pretty good set of samples to draw from. Yay!
Part 1: The Why
First up is my personal theory for why being observed by the Visitor affects humans the way it does.
Here's what we know about it: (Spoilers, kind of.)
Being perceived by the Visitor causes humans to transform into unique monsters, on varying timescales. Its perception inherently changes things when it observes them, but humans and other animals are especially affected. What it does to them is "communicating... in a way".
Humans that transform tend to have a "theme" related to what they were near or what they were thinking about when contact occurred.
The Visitor only perceives living things when it, itself, is perceived by them in some manner. This is why looking at a photo or drawing of it will also cause a person to change.
The Visitor's interstellar size means that it takes time for the rest of its body to be aware of what each part is seeing.
The Visitor, prior to meeting Sam, had no concept of itself as distinct from other beings, as it has never met another living entity before, and it's used to independent things that it communicates with just being other portions of itself.
Now here's my thoughts:
When the Visitor looks at someone, it's assuming this is an unfamiliar piece of itself, and it forms a connection with them in the same way it would a neighboring chunk of its own nervous system that isn't physically connected closely enough for signals to travel all the way between them quickly.
The bond forged by the Visitor starting to perceive through someone puts their whole body in a volatile, changeable state due to having a steady portion of its attention.
When it does this, it can barely make sense of the human thoughts and concepts coming from the new "neuron". When a new one is especially salient to it, it reinforces the concept, trying to think about what that is - often through (what it thinks is) the node of itself that's picking up that idea. The human.
Think of it as rotating a cow in your mind, except to do this, you turn someone else into a cow. And then rotate them.
And of course, the human body isn't an alien monster neuron, so when it gets beamed with one of the person's own thoughts reflected from the confused Visitor, in its volatile state, it starts to distort.
The people whose new forms reflect a clear concept are products of this. Consider the case of Rana, who resembles a spider. In her story, she's an arachnophobe, and was worried about a spider she lost track of back in her house.
She's not a realistic spider, though - she's black, and hairy, and prominently fanged, with way more than eight glowing red eyes haphazardly arranged all over her head. She's an arachnophobe's idea of a frightening spider.
The monsters who sort of just resemble monsters more than any idea in particular, like Lokjaw, Stretchface, or the wacky creatures seen on the roof, could be products of more abstract thoughts, but they could also be the few that received an alien thought from the Visitor rather than having one of their own fed back to them, resulting in an unpredictable change.
When a witness goes back inside, and the Visitor can't back up the signals it's getting from them with its own perception of the area, its attention eventually wanes, and they're set aside in favor of other nodes whose feedback makes more sense to it, concluding the peak period of mutation.
Next time: a little on "contagious" transformations.

Another fun tidbit from the novel is the counting system. This is one of my favorite elements, because it goes to show how things were already a fucking disaster before Nedry's sabotage ever even happened. Jurassic Park is, by narrative design, a shithole of the worst techbro bullshit you've ever heard.
JP's systems were all created blindly. Hammond underpaid contractors to make the systems that he wanted without telling them anything about what the systems would be used for. Then he had to spend money flying them out to the park when inevitably nothing fucking worked right.
The goal was complete automation. Ideally, they'd be able to run this park with minimal human staff, because human staff require paychecks. To that end, the park was full of complex systems designed to run things in place of human personnel.
(This is why the tour cars have no drivers and just run on a track. Hammond isn't dishing out money for contextually responsive tour guides who can answer questions and direct visitors! The he'd have to pay salaries!)
One of those systems was the counting system. Its job was to make sure that the animal populations remained stable. The way it works is that it periodically takes a headcount.
If there's supposed to be thirteen velociraptors then it counts one, two, three, until it hits thirteen. Thirteen raptors! All present and accounted for. We have no problems.
...yeah, if you've seen the movie, you probably already know what went wrong with that. The system simply wasn't programmed for the possibility that there might be more animals than expected. When it found the number it expected to find, it stopped counting.
So staff kept trucking along, secure in the knowledge that everything was fine and dandy. Blissfully unaware that they were bleeding animals, as escaped dinosaurs kept stowing away on boats and getting free on the mainland.
Because when you actually have 42 velociraptors and the system expects to find 13, it's really easy for a bunch of them to slip out unnoticed.

SUGAR, SPICE, AND NOT SO NICE: prologue
– Summary: You're the person everyone wants. Money makes the worlds go round, and you have the money. As one of the wealthiest people in the galaxy, you've grown accustomed to the suitors sniffing about for a chance to strike it rich, and you reject every one of them. However, one day a stranger from off world arrives, penniless but hell-bent on meeting you.
– Warning: Yes, this is a yandere thing. Female reader.
– Note: Just dropping this idea here. I have a few drafts for the first chapters. Will this actually go anywhere? Probably not. I just thought I would share it though. I was kinda going for like a space western theme. Think extraterrestrial cowboy kinda deal, but, that's subject to change if I do continue this. Anyways, let me know your thoughts.
– Pages: 1.5

Tumblr media
Under a star-speckled sky, millions of laborers emerge from their clay-dwellings like starved venatas burrowing out of the sand to venture on a nightly hunt. Sand lies as far as the eye could see, vaster than any ocean on this planet. There was a saying, that the plant Amuy’s sand was worth more than pure gold, due to what lay deep beneath the surface hidden by layers of earth: spice.
Amuy breathed and ran on the spice trade, these little particles reaching the farthest corners of the galaxy. Just one jar of the purest spice can fetch a person’s weight in gold. Spice was harvested from the deposits, but harvesting didn’t come without its dangers. Despite the hazards that were explicitly listed under the job description, folks from all across the galaxy and beyond came to try their hand at making a fortune whether it be in the spice trade, the planet’s famed casino that served as a playground for space’s ultra-rich, or the only beach resort this side of the galaxy where countless off-planet travelers flocked to for their summer getaways.
The planet was almost entirely owned by a congregation of multiple families which built this floating rock into a heavenly body worth a spot on the star maps. The most famous of which were the Yunes. The Yunes were like Amuy’s royalty.
Azona Yune, the youngest of a trio of siblings, operates on the friendlier side of business at the massive resort. There, Azona ran various properties scattered along the coast as numerous as shells. It was perhaps the safest place for offplanet visitors. For years it has been the recipient of high praise from visitors that chose to spend their days in this tiny slice of paradise.
Ehan Yune, the middle child, manages the casino that served as the business hub where all the bigshot names frequented. Anyone who was anyone was there, gambling away fortunes at spinning wheels and racing tracks as they sipped sparkling wine and partake in a fancy feast. Royalty tailed by their small flock of flustered servants and fellow playboy billionaires in the arms of extraterrestrial beauties.
(Y/n) Yune, the eldest of the three, ran what was the most dangerous of all three: the spice trade itself. It was her job to overlook the production and transfer of every single grain, whether it led to local sources or off-planet ones. Her duty was the blood that ran through Amuy’s veins, kept the entire system, casino, resort, and all other things alive. Due to spice being highly valuable, it was often sought out through illegal methods whether it be through flat out daylight robbery or a mole within the ranks of laborers, she dealt with each case. Although Amuy’s desert was the harshest, it was the people she was most concerned about.
In her line of work, especially dealing first hand with the many members of the workforce that originated from off-planet, she witnessed firsthand how they awed at the spice and eyed her as she passed by. Hungry eyes sunk in her form, greedily glaring at her bangles, heavy gems encrusted in earrings, and the bulge of her fat purse. If given the opportunity, they would tear into her and her wealth, strip away everything that was hers and other’s until her home, Amuy, was nothing but a barren husk hollowed out of its resources.
That was something she would simply not allow.

People seemed interested in Library Orc Blorbo so I decided to write down my headcanons about him:
His name is Garthaglir (it’s Sindarin for “poem keeper”)
He renamed himself after discovering a love for library sciences, shortly after he moved to the valley
Rivendell’s head librarian
Used to be an extremely dangerous warrior, now considers himself retired
Extremely tall and buff, blue skin, salt-and-pepper hair and a well-trimmed beard
Very distinguished, very polite
Has a tiny pair of spectacles he uses to read because he's farsighted
He doesn’t look like an old man but he is one deep in his heart
He was one of the first reformed orcs to end up in Rivendell, so he helps other orcs adjust to living there
Basically invented Middle Earth’s version of the Dewey Decimal system
Look, Rivendell’s library is like, unfathomably huge, there’s 6000+ years of books in there, someone had to organize it
He, Elrond, and Erestor are the only people who have keys to the part of the library where they keep the cursed books
The three of them also have a monthly book club
He holds a weekly story time for the kids
(Yes, he does do funny voices, no, you are not allowed to comment on it)
Has tracked people down at 3 AM before because “M’am? M’am you have an overdue book, here, I brought my library stamp would you mind just checking this out again? You can keep it out for another month that way. Just a moment, ah, yes thank you, I’ll be on my way now. Excellent choice in reading material.”
He has a fancy sunhat he wears outside during the day so the sun doesn’t burn him, it was a gift from small Arwen and he cherishes it
He has a library cat, her name is Mittens and he would die for her
Uses his free time to teach himself different languages; there are hundreds in Rivendell’s books
Enjoys recommending books to visitors, he’s gotten really good at getting a read on what people will like
Personally, when he’s in the mood for fiction, he prefers a good mystery

Visitor Management System: A reliable companion for security and convenience
Tumblr media
Nowadays, security has become the biggest concern everywhere. Be it an office, a hospital or an institution, people keep coming and going everywhere. In such a situation, it becomes very important to know who is coming, when and why. To make this work easy and safe, a visitor management system is used.
This system is actually a digital method, through which complete information of visitors is recorded. Its purpose is not just to get the name written, but to increase security, save time and make the process of coming and going easy.
Why is security important?
In earlier times, when someone used to come to the office, he had to write his name in a register. Many times this work would get delayed, and there were security problems as well. Now that everything has become digital, the visitor management system completely checks the identity of the visitor. Like their ID is scanned, a photo is taken, so that no suspicious person can easily enter.
Additionally, many contemporary systems have features that bolster security even more.Such as voice recording, digital signatures, and instant notifications to security officers if there is any suspicious activity.
Convenience and time saving
The biggest advantage of this system is that the wait time of visitors is reduced. Now instead of writing names in a manual register, people fill their details on a tablet or screen. Then they get a visit card or pass, which allows them to enter easily.
This also makes the work of the people working at the reception easier. They are able to handle the work quickly and in a better way and the office environment looks more professional.
Transparency and recording
Every information is recorded in the digital system, so there can be no mistake or concealment. The data of every visitor is safe and can be viewed immediately when needed. It is much more reliable than a manual register.
Consideration of the environment
The digital system replaces paper, saving paper. This also benefits the environment and keeps the office technologically updated.
Different systems, different needs
Different offices have different needs. Some places only record names and numbers, while others require face or fingerprint recognition. Some systems also work through mobile apps, making it easy to book a visit appointment in advance.
Conclusion
Ultimately, visitor management systems have become the need of the hour. It strengthens security, simplifies the process and improves office work. Every office, big or small, should adopt it so that the environment remains safe and organized.
If you want both security and convenience, then visitor management systems are the right choice for you.
