Mari departed after Sunday lunch. Mother Ahn gave some of her biscuits and Junhee the flowers, while Inha tied the ribbons of her hat and hugged her warmly. The carriage—summoned in a rather sudden manner that Sunday—rattled away, and Mari thought that never before had she ached to be in another place within another company in her life when she was ever content to be confined in the school and the village of O–.
It was dark when she arrived at Barlnshore, but Mr Kang received her just as warmly as he did months ago. She meant to quietly go upstairs to clean herself a bit before surprising the boys by their bedroom. Yet Mari had but started to climb the flight of stairs when she felt and heard the thrum of footsteps, rushing down the hall and then descending the steps in a flurry. She laughed as Changbin’s voice rose higher in his excitement, “You’re home, you’re home, you’re home! Miss Son’s home!”
“I am home!” Mari laughed, as she caught him in arms on the landing. She sat down at the hurl of his weight, and the lad merely leaned further into her hold as he crouched down with her. Mari pulls him away to take a better look at his grinning face.
“Did you grow taller? Our Changbinnie?”
“He grows wider,” came a biting grumble from above them.
“Minho, be kind—what did I say about your teasing?” Mari laughed, reaching a hand to the approaching figure. Changbin turned to swat the elder but moved to let him hug Mari.
“That I am not to be insulting— especially  to my brothers. I am to run my remarks through my head before I speak to them,” Minho recited flatly, by way of greeting. His punishment for the evening was a tightened hug that made him yelp, and then Mari nuzzled and ruffled his hair before letting him go for the next boy waiting for her.
“Hyunjin, sweetness—come kiss me.”
The boy gave her cheek a soft peck, melting into her arms. “You mustn’t leave, ever again!”
Mari might laugh at the statement to ease the boy otherwise. Yet as she looked into his wide eyes and found it grave, she realized that the settled arrangements would never allow it, and his eyes reflected her fears. It won’t do them both any good to ruin the joy with the truth now, so she settled by kissing him warmly upon his brow.
She let Jisung pepper her with as many kisses as he pleased and pulled Yongbok tighter as he giggled and nuzzled under her jaw. Behind their huddling figures was Commodore Bang, minding them all to let her breathe after a long journey, only for Seungmin to slip through him and crash into her arms. Mari smiled, and he relented to the nature of his overexcited pups.
“One would think you have returned from the other side of the ocean.” Commodore Bang shifted Jeongin in his hold and pulled one hand free to shake hers. “Good to have you back, my—... Miss Son.”
Mari’s heart jumped to her throat, but she returned his smile, and they both ignored the slip. His grasp was a comforting reassurance. Mari was happy to note a warm, natural welcome in her heart. She knew she was in good company, and extended her thanks to him as far as his kind patronship over her all this while. Commodore Bang teased her for her sudden pretty words; the boys laughed; and Jeongin was stirred from his doze by the commotion. Mari cooed over his bleary eyes and tilted her head to be in his vision.
“Yen-ah,” Commodore Bang whispered, tapping the boy’s nose. “Look who’s back.”
The youngest took her in, quite in doubt with himself over the haziness. Mari chuckled. In that dreamy state, he extended his arm and reached out for her, thus eliciting raucous giggles from his older brothers.
“He’s so adorable!” came a squeal.
“Hyung, his eyes are barely open…”
“He just knows Miss Son is here. Don’t you, Yen?”
“No, Yennie, she just came home from a long trip,” Commodore Bang said. Though barely awake, Jeongin made a most insistent effort. Mari let him come gladly, cherishing his warmth and weight.
“I don’t mind, Commodore,” she said. “Might as well take them all to bed.”
“You must rest yourself,” Commodore Bang replied, as Jeongin settled in her arm. “I’ll send for tea. We have rice cakes today with red beans - if you are hungry?”
Mari nodded, she could not refuse. “That will be lovely, Commodore, thank you.”
It all felt too homey.

“A letter for Mr Bambam.”
The man had been lounging in the garden’s chair as if melting under the warm weather. But at the announcement he started, turned, and received the letter with glee that is almost childlike. “My angel remembers me!”
Sitting by him, Mari amusedly went on with her embroideries. They were enjoying the start of spring and the warm sun. The boys were talking with Bernard or playing, while the Commodore and Lady Jang took a turn around the garden. Mr Bambam opened the letter but closed it soon after a short perusal.
“I must save it for later—before a warm fire, and a glass of good wine. Otherwise, she will distract me from my surroundings.”
As he folded the sheet, Mari noticed his gold ring, glinting sharply in the light. She paused and stared, wondering how she could have missed the article, being in his company all these months.
“You are married, Mr Bambam?” she found herself asking, more baffled than accusing. But quickly she felt it an impertinent remark, and continued, “Forgive me—it was rude of me to assume…”
Mr Bambam merely laughed. “I am. You are surprised, Miss Son? One would have thought you would be more observant. But then you already have seven heads to mind.”
“Bachelors are not uncommon,” Mari argued. “Or…—”
She nearly bit her lip at her slip, looking up rather fearfully at her companion. Mr Bambam’s eyes only glinted more playfully at her slip.
“Ah-ah-ah, come now—what ideas are evoked there, Miss Son?”
“Oh, forgive me. The thought of a lover did spring to mind,” Mari replied frankly. “My brains are quite scattered these days.”
“What if it is a lover?” Mr Bambam returned. “Will you think ill and lowly of me, Miss Son?”
“Perhaps,” Mari admitted quietly, for the lack of security and—in a way—general respect would not settle well with her. “I’m dreadfully proper and all… But I would not be unkind unless I genuinely dislike you, and I do not. I might argue a little, but otherwise… I would leave you to your stance of things.”
“Then spare your mind from such worries,” Mr Bambam said. “My wife and I were bound rightfully before the church and the law.”
They fell quiet for a moment; Mari wondered that the carefree uncle retained a bond with a woman like any other man. But with the state of things at present, it could hardly be measured as similar. Mari asked again. “Then why doesn’t she come with you?”
“You see how other couples are inseparable, we are quite the opposite. We don’t mind being as far apart as to be separated in countries, that is true, but not on bad terms.” The new look he gave Mari was more sincere but did not reduce his previous good humour. “Our marriage was arranged in our youth, and we married younger than you are now. We respect each other to not break the arrangement, but our desire for independence and exploration is yet satisfied. So we agreed to give each other leave to travel in our separate ways, delight in separate companies, and take responsibility for each endeavour’s outcome. People don’t understand how we can bear being separated for so long from one another, but then we are not united under normal circumstances. Others assume we loathe each other and were surprised at how warmly we’d greet one another if we crossed at an assembly, not knowing how long we haven’t seen one another.”
“I can imagine.”
“At least we do have a townhouse, a little place to retire to after the summer visits, balls, and excursions end. And well, there are the letters, which she has forgotten for some while, bless her soul. Considering the thickness of it, she must have missed me just as much to pay for so much news. My dear lady—even her writing delivers different comfort than those offered by friends.”
His gaze was upon said friends, who were laughing with his boys. Mari felt sorrow and warmth from his description, and declared, “Despite the peculiar arrangement, I am glad. I wish you both great happiness.”
Mr Bambam turned to Mari, his humour returned with a chuckle, “Miss Son, you and your kind soul!”
“Please always be kind to one another. Should I not be able to find it on my own, I would like to see others having it.”
“I hope that will not be the case, Miss Son,” Mr Bambam said, taking her hand warmly and setting his expression into a hen-like aunt that made Mari giggle.
“If you cannot find happiness with the prince of your dreams, then I hope you shall be comforted with one whose presence you can tolerate. And respect—that is important. But I wish you every good happiness under the sun—beyond mere toleration and contentment to a situation. You deserve greater than it, you deserve one who shares your regard and mind and admiration—for you are young and good, better than the rest of us common folks..”
“Mr Bambam, you know goodness doesn’t make happiness more deserved to few than others...”
Yet he dismisses her by shaking his head and grasping her hand with more insistence, “Take my wishes and fight for your happiness.”
Mari lowered her head, and Mr Bambam took it as a nod and returned to his tea. She picked up her needle again; after some quiet contemplation and boldness stemming from the sweet sponge sandwiches, found herself inquiring, "Do you think...one day you will live with her? Again, as couples commonly do?"
Mr Bambam paused from sipping his tea, a small smile rising on his face. "I should like to."

There was a reduction in the number of tables, therefore placing Mari at the end of the table. The boys were well aware of it.
“Where is her Ladyship?” Seungmin asked.
“She cannot leave the capital for so long—therefore she returned,” Commodore Bang replied. Mari felt it was somewhat too curt and sudden news. She barely expected it at all when they all adjourned for their soiree last night, in the drawing room. She recalled Lady Jang requesting Mari to play for her a particular tune, and her being quite reconciled to the state of beings to indulge the baroness—it was a rather quiet night for the adults, the children filling in the noise aside their playing. Commodore Bang and Lady Jang hardly shared glances.
“When did she leave?” so Mari asked.
Commodore Bang started as he looked up to her, seemingly surprised at her presence or perhaps placement right across him on the table. A cleared throat, then he answered, “At dawn; she wished to arrive by noon.”
Breakfast passed on with enough chatter, Changbin’s whines at Jisung’s teasings, and Jeongin’s giggles. The Commodore made another announcement nearing the end of the meal.
“I shall look into schools starting tomorrow,” he said. “I have received my recommendations, and there is a particular institution I wish to look into. Who knows which might suit our Minho and Changbin better.”
“I suppose,” the eldest mused. The news didn’t bother him much, or he was in such good humour with a satisfied appetite, and thus Minho proceeded to tease the next eldest with winks. “Changbin’s school will have to be a particular one.”
"And some education would do good to smoothen that nonsense of yours, brother?” Changbin responded blandly.
“Oh, but aren’t I taking you with me, Binnie? To occupy ourselves.”
“Minho…” Mari was concerned Changbin might strain his eyes squinting and frowning to the eldest. “Why don’t you finish your milk?”
“Yes, Mother.”
There was a strong thump in her ear, and Mari swore she cracked her neck looking up at the boy. Minho had returned to his plate, unaffected by his… slip? Was it intentional? A joke?
While she was frozen in place, Commodore Bang was as flustered by the words—his cup clattering upon the saucer as his ears bloomed red. He stared at the boy, who pointedly gulped his honeyed milk as the table fell silent. Changbin and Hyunjin gaped; the twins started; Jeongin persistently licked his jam, and Seungmin turned to look at the others. In the end, Mr Bambam’s loud entrance broke the tension and diverted their focus.
Tumblr media
The days pass with relative amiability. Mari kept her word that she would return a more energised figure, and their lessons went as well as she might have hoped. The following post-nap walks to the warming hills and fields under the blue sky allowed the spring’s warmth to envelop her soul. The eight of them went to the rivers and creeks they’ve traversed through the summer, delighting in the fresh green of the trees and flowers, pointing out the fishes in the now flowing river. Mari was revived in her pleasure of enjoying the boy’s company—everything was well in her world. Even as her final days as a governess were countable, and somehow busier than ever, she is determined to enjoy everything that passed in between.
One morning—not long after the Commodore’s departure to inspect a few schools—she was retrieving a better shirt for Jeongin and came upon Minho and Changbin sitting in the latter’s bed. Their vests were still unbuttoned and shoes untied, dressing forgotten as their heads leaned together in conversation, quite unaware of the flurry in the next room that is Hyunjin and Jisung bickering and the rest preparing themselves. Minho had glee lighting up his eyes; Changbin’s features more severe with his frown as he attended to the elder’s whispers, which were quite distinct for Mari to hear,
“…it should not be improper!”
Changbin groaned. “It’s too early in the morning to make any sense—should we not think of it further—?”
“Thinking would never achieve anything—we have to act!” In a harried manner, Minho pressed on, “Binnie, we’re running out of time—and who else would suit?”
“Does she even like him!?”
“Of course, she does!”
The floors creaked as she crossed to the wardrobe. There was a rustle of sheets. When she gazed back towards them, Changbin’s wide eyes flitted to her as he fixed his collar, while Minho began to tie his shoes. Mari tilted her head at them, more concerned at the lateness of the day.
“Breakfast is ready, come on and hurry down,” she said.
She didn’t see them again until they descended for the dining room, now fully dressed yet still absorbed in their low discussion; sharp whispers which certain bits came to her hearing.
“I could not care half the world if she’s not a lady, she’s better than the rest.”
“Was there ever any other?” came Changbin’s tired return.
“There you are kid, you’ve got the point! But then I meant it in the future probability…”
Mari wondered if their mischief had alighted, and thus sighed deeply at the possibility of injured and offended parties of people—especially if it involved matchmaking. Is it for the servants? She settled to keep a close eye on both without straining her nerves, just to delay the damage and urge them to take responsibility for any consequences.
Commodore Bang returned to the house just a day before Hyunjin’s birthday. The young man would say he was fine if they were to miss his big day, but Mari knew that everything fell into perfection for the boy the moment the carriage wheels rolled into the front of the house at the end of breakfast. The Commodore was in good humour, considering his laughter and the length of time it took him to relinquish Seungmin from his arms.
At times Mari was concerned at the chances of Commodore Bang suffocating his boys with all his love—there’s no other word for it. It barely started and Changbin would send her this fatigued look (like he didn’t jab at his father every other hour) and Mari would ask the Commodore to release them from the coddlings. He’d sigh in surrender but gave them one last kiss with fondness lingering in his brown eyes. She wondered how he survived refusing all that love for three years.
Studying was cut short for Hyunjin’s birthday celebration. There was nothing much for the party but Mr Bambam, Mari, Commodore Bang, Mr Kang, Minatozaki-san, and the boys. There was little acquaintanceship with the neighbourhood boys their age, but soon Hyunjin would grow older, and invite his friends home or assemble his parties in some apartment in the capital. A far too raucous image for Mari to think of the young black-haired angel before her at present. For now, she joined his delight over the books and toys from his brothers and Mr Bambam, receiving his beaming smile over the new handkerchiefs Mari stitched for him.
“I feel like a true gentleman,” he declared as he hugged Mari, to the giggles of the room.
There were his favourite foods and treats, but Mari was certain, nothing pleased and awed him more than the watercolour paints in the mahogany box his father presented to him. It’s a beautiful, polished wooden box; on the inner side of the lid, a picture of the brand, and the box itself is separated into several compartments: for eighteen watercolour cakes, the brushes, the sponge and napkin, a deep box for the water glass and the most interesting contraption of the drawer at the bottom. It was filled with thick papers, and the Commodore offered another rim of it wrapped in brown paper.
Unable to contain his excitement at being indulged so, Hyunjin leaped away to his feet, was all smiles and laughter upon his father as he skipped in the middle of the room. “Appa, Appa! There’s so many!”
He’s a sight of sheer childish joy; his older brothers laughed at him good-naturedly, and the Commodore smiled, satisfied and revelling in his son’s pleasure. “Do you like them?”
Hyunjin finally settled down his jitters, only to run and leap into his father’s open arms, clutching the man with his four limbs tightly.
“You're welcome,” Commodore Bang laughed, arms holding Hyunjin close to him and brushing over his back. “You know,” he continued. “There is a painter in town willing to give you some lessons. If you’d like to, I'll take you there every Tuesday and Friday for an hour of lessons.”
Hyunjin pulled away to look at his father with a gasp one might have thought exaggerated. Mari couldn’t blame him—she met the Commodore’s twinkling eyes and sighed, “Oh, Hyunjin, how wonderful!”
“I just thought it would be nice if you—”
“Yes, yes,  yes, yes! ”
“—know how to use these paints to create the finest art.” Commodore Bang chuckled halfway at Hyunjin’s eager nods, despite the loud reply that might have rang his ears. “All right, then?”
“I’ll work very hard for that! Oh, I’ll do very well—I promise you won’t regret it, Father.”
“I know, Hyunnie, I know.” They hugged warmly for another moment until Hyunjin slipped down to observe the paints more closely with his brothers.
“Anyone else joining the artistic endeavour?” Mr Bambam inquired from his seat and his glass of ginger soda.
“I’ll settle with my slate and chickens,” Minho said blandly. “At least Bbokie likes my chickens, right?”
The younger twin giggles, “Scrawny legs!”
Tumblr media
Come Sunday, Minho paused in their walk returning from church, waiting for Mari who trailed in the back as the rest urged their Father to hurry for breakfast. He paced by her side, and by and by asked,
“Do you like Father? Honestly?”
Mari turned to the eldest. “All of a sudden?”
“You’ve known him for nine months. I would like to know your opinion of him.”
“And what purpose will that achieve?” Mari laughed but soon returned to a degree of seriousness, and said in a quiet breath against the fullness in her bosom, “Do you want my assessment? Well, I do like him. How could I not?”
“Truly?”
“He’s a good and admirable man, and I regard him with high respect,” so Mari satisfied the boy with some elaboration.
“As an… employer?”
Mari nodded, and Minho fell quiet again, until he asked, “Do you—think of him as a friend?”
“I could not claim it. I think such a degree of relationship is something we both must agree upon.”
“It’s just friendship,” Minho mumbled. But then he gave himself a nod and they turned to speak of other matters instead. It did not quite leave Mari’s mind for some days, especially when she could take in the Commodore’s presence and consider him. It was easier to laugh at her meltdown earlier that month when she went home to Mrs Ahn’s—and the lack of Lady Jang’s presence did some good to relieve her from the miserable dread that she was doomed to eternal loneliness and estranged forever on from the house; the most depressing outcomes in her occupation as a teacher.

When He Surprises You During His Enlistment ~ A.C.E Reaction
Donghun:
Your eyes lit up as you noticed your phone buzzing beside you, answering the call as soon as you noticed Donghun’s name on the screen.
“What are your plans today?” He asked you as soon as you greeted him, glancing up at your apartment from the bottom of the block. “Are you still at home or are you out somewhere?”
“I’m at home,” you responded suspiciously, “how come you’re so interested in my plans?”
Donghun laughed to himself before replying to you, “if you’re at home then walk towards the kitchen window. When you’re there, I want you to look down.”
“What are you up to?” You sighed, following Donghun’s instructions as you walked towards the window before looking down, noticing someone staring up.
“Are you looking down? Can you see anything there?”
Your head shook in disbelief, “I guess you’re stood outside my apartment block to give me some plans for my day after all.”
“I can go back to base if you want me to,” Donghun teased.
“No way, I’m on my way down now.”
Wow:
It felt deflating for you as you arrived home, watching the last few hours of your birthday pass by as the night quickly began to draw in.
“Have you had a good day?” A voice asked you as you walked towards the window of your apartment to look out of the window, spotting a few individuals who walked around the streets.
“Hm,” you murmured, confused as to what was going on as you heard a voice around you.
Sehyoon chuckled as he watched your eyes flicker up before looking back out of the window. “Y/N,” he called out to you, watching the confusion on your face.
“W-who? What?” You quizzed, following the sound of the voice to see Sehyoon looking back at you with a wide smile on his face, his eyes following you as you moved.
“You didn’t think that I’d miss your birthday, did you?”
It took a moment for it to sink in for you that Sehyoon was looking back at you. “You’re not supposed to be here, you’re busy.”
“You just think I’m not supposed to be,” Sehyoon laughed.
“This is the best birthday gift ever.”
Jun:
You tried your best to ignore the hand that tapped on your shoulder as you listened to your friend, getting more and more frustrated with them.
“I think someone wants your attention,” one of your friends told you. You were unaware of who was behind you, assuming that just like usual it would be one of Junhee’s fans wanting you.
“I’m trying to…oh,” you trailed off as you turned around and saw who was wanting you.
You had never seen Junhee’s smile so wide as he watched you stand up from where you were sat. “Sorry to interrupt, but I thought there’d be room for one more.”
“You’re supposed to be with your mates on your day off,” you sighed, shaking your head back across to Junhee. “You’re not supposed to be here, what are you doing here?”
“I could be with my mates, or be with my best mate.”
You were flustered as Junhee walked towards you and pulled you into his side. “Has the military suddenly made you soppy now?”
“No, I’ve just missed you a lot,” Junhee quickly confessed.
“I’ve missed you so much more, Junhee.”
Byeongkwan:
A sharp intake of breath came from you as you walked through the front door and saw a familiar face stretched out across the length of your sofa.
“Welcome home,” Byeongkwan chuckled as he watched your expression turn up in surprise, blinking several times to make sure that you were really seeing what you thought you were seeing.
“What are you doing here? Aren’t you supposed to be busy?” You questioned, stuttering.
Byeongkwan nodded as he stood up and opened his arms out to you. “I’ve got a day off so I thought where would I like to go to spend my day? Here, of course.”
“You didn’t even tell me that you were coming,” you scolded, hitting your hand against Byeongkwan’s arm. “You could’ve messaged, the whole place is a mess right now Kwan.”
“I don’t care, I’m just happy that I’m here with you.”
You finally walked into Byeongkwan’s open arms and rested against his chest. “You might have to pinch me for a little while you know.”
“How about I just keep talking to you instead?” He jokingly offered.
“That definitely works well for me too.”
Chan:
Your smile was faint as you opened the door to your apartment to see Yuchan staring back at you, letting go of a chuckle as you stepped aside.
“I’m so bored,” Yuchan explained to you as you silently invited him into your apartment. “I keep going to call out to one of the boys in the dorm and then I remember they’re not here.”
“I keep telling you that you can move in here,” you reminded Yuchan, offering him a chuckle.
He hummed as he passed you by, kicking his shoes off. “I know, but I feel bad. It’s like you’re inviting me to stay because you feel sorry for me being all by myself.”
“I’m offering because I want you here,” you corrected Yuchan as you closed the door, “I’d never say it to just feel sorry for you, I’m trying to give you a way out of feeling bored.”
“Would you really be happy to have me here with you?”
You couldn’t help but nudge Yuchan as he passed you by, “I wouldn’t ask you idiot if I wasn’t happy about the thought of you being here.”
“Hey, who are you calling an idiot?” Yuchan smirked as he met your eyes.
“You, stop fretting so much around me.”

park junhee, bisexual, cisgender male + he/him ― hey look, it’s lee jin-seong! they’re 28 years old, they’ve lived in shrike heights for a month, and they’re currently working at fast times. i heard they’re pretty hot-headed, but i think they’re so protective at the same time. can they make it out alive? || lo, 24, he/him.
B A S I C S
Name: Lee Jin-Seong
Nickname(s): None tbh, I guess some of his friends would say ‘Jin’
Pronouns: He/Him
Sexuality: Bisexual
Age: 28
Birthday: Apr 18th, 1960
Birthplace: Shrike Heights, Colorado (Later moved and returned)
Occupation: Professional Boxer / Works part time at Fast times in the off-season.
Ethnicity: South Korean
Languages: English, Korean
Nationality: American
Education: High school
B I O G R A P H Y
cw: death, car accident, drug abuse, mental illness
At Jin-seong’s Doljabi, his entire family, many of whom had made the trip from San Francisco or other parts of America, watched in suspense of what the one-year old might choose to become. A fortune-telling custom the family elders swore by, he was given a spread of the following choices: a gavel, a 100 dollar bill, a baseball, a book, a microphone, a stethoscope, a test tube and a space shuttle. They believed that according to what he chose, his destiny would be foretold. His future path would either be that of a judge/lawyer, an entrepreneur, an athlete, a teacher or academic, a musician, a doctor, a scientist or an astronaut. Jin-seong didn’t believe in that kind of thing, but he still wishes to this day that he had gone for something, anything other than the baseball.
An athlete, they had exclaimed, and an athlete he was. That and not much else.
He grew up being raised by dysfunctional parents. His father was unhappy with his life and his marriage and decided that making his mother miserable was his only coping mechanism. Jin-seong’s mother gave as good as she got. It meant a lot of fighting and a lot of anger that he had to absorb from a young age. He learned that that was how people communicated their feelings. With gnashed teeth and shaking fists, with a rumbling roar threatening to break out of their chest. He had inherited his father’s rage and his mother’s fighting spirit and had plenty of time to put the practice in. Even in pre-school, Jin-seong was always getting into fights. After they began, he often couldn’t remember what started them - only that he was angry at everything.
He’d never lost a fight but victory did little to comfort him. After all, after a lengthy talk with the principal, his parents would take him home and spend the entire ride blaming each other for his behaviour, neither of them wanting to claim him as their own.
One particularly vicious argument would prove to be their undoing, inattentiveness on the road leading his father to a horrible car accident. Jin-seong was the only survivor.
With no nearby living relatives, Jin-seong was dumped on his grandmother. He didn’t know what to expect, but he definitely didn’t expect the warmth with which she welcomed him into her home.
His fighting continued at school, but his grandmother encouraged him to channel it into sport instead, signing him up for boxing lessons. The craziest part? He was really good at boxing. It finally felt like he’d found the part of the puzzle he slotted into. He participated on the school boxing team and even was scouted to go into professional boxing. All throughout, his grandmother was his staunchest supporter.
However, when he finally left Shrike to pursue his dreams, he would find out the hard way that he was not meant for dreaming. Though he found great success, becoming a rising star in his sport, his grandmother was not adjusting quite as well to his departure as he had hoped. Jin-seong’s presence in her life had been a distraction for his grandmother and without him there, there was nothing to stop her from falling deeper into the habits she kept from him. Her depression and the pain killers she was enslaved by coming to the surface and taking her hostage.
The minute the hospital called, he told his manager he was going on an extended hiatus without hesitation. This brought him back to Shrike where he currently resides.
Jin-seong has never been academically gifted, he is a bit of a himbo. Not the brightest. He isn’t exceptionally dumb, but he is pretty slow on the uptake and gets confused very easily. He’s never had a traditional childhood. Even though his grandmother took care of him, she was always ill and he always had to take care of her. He just didn’t know the extent of her problems until he left.
W A N T E D  C O N N E C T I O N S
Friends with benefits (multiple) - Jin-seong has rarely had long-term monogamous relationships. Since he isn’t very bright people have often just used him for his body/physical appeal.
Coach / or someone he trains with
Similar delinquents he can have as friends
Crush? Mayhaps? I can see Jin-seong having an unrequited crush on someone, especially if they’re smarter than him and that bar is very low. They also have to be nice to him though, he does not like feeling stupid.
Neighbours. He lives in a nice area with his grandmother.

"Baby I'm home"
I heard Jun said as I was in the kitchen making something for the two of us. "Welcome home, I'm in the kitchen hun!!" I said put the food I made into the oven. Hearing feet steps coming my direction. I felt gentle arms around my waist and a soft kiss on my cheek.
"How was practice today hun" I smiled as I turn to look at my baby boy. "It was okay, the choreography was a little pain but we manage it" Jun said as he rubbed his nose against mine. I chuckled softly and gave him a a soft peck on the lips. "Well I'm glad your alright, today I'm making your favorite you been asking about for a month on" I lightly poke his nose as he scrunch it cutely and smiled. "Yay, you always make the best food around" Jun picked me up and spun for a moment before putting me back down.
"baby boy your the one who is the best" I said knowing that Jun loves praises as much I love saying them to him. It was about be another 20 minutes til the food was ready so we chatted for a little and even exchange kisses back and forth. Slowly to kiss start to get a little more longer as I gently pin Jun again the island stand behind him. We stayed like this til we needed some air. Panting softly, we both have each other a soft smile before another kiss happen but then the food was done.
"Let get some food then we can continue this later okay my sweet baby" Jun whine softly at first then nodded his head. "Okay hun" He said as we both went to get the ready cook food out of the oven.
We would always have our sweet love and praises. Even when we don't have time to our selves as much. We will always enjoy each other when we're alone here together.

“Hi, honey,” you spoke up as he finally reached your awaiting figure.
You had Jun still in your grasp and all the triplets were sleeping peacefully in their respective carriers. His eyes roamed over you once, as if making sure you were alright. You knew Baekhyun was anything but hot headed, but you were also aware that you did him dirty. If he was mad, then he’d be rightfully so.
“Sweetheart,” Baekhyun mumbled distractedly as a greeting. His focus was set on you, as if trying not to look elsewhere.
You smiled at him and walked the remaining steps to give him a small hug. As soon as your scent wafted over Baekhyun’s senses, he smiled a small smile and carefully enveloped you in a hug, pressing his forehead to yours and looking down at Jun nestled between your chests. “I missed you, my angel,” he breathed and pressed a quiet, longing peck on your cheek, before leaning lower and kissing the top of Jun’s head. “Hi there, little buddy.”
“I missed you too. Welcome home,” you smiled wider when he looked you in the eyes.
Baekhyun nodded with a smile all too aware that you and him were now in your personal bubble. Eventually he had to address the elephant in the room. Clearing his throat he straightened up, letting his hand slide down your back. “The girls?”
You turned swiftly and finally the both of you faced Sonhee and Junho, each with a baby. You could see Baekhyun’s face going blank, only wanting to greet and retrieve his little baby girls, until he finally looked at the lady next to Lee Junho. His face expression morphed instantly; shock and surprise were an understatement.
“Sonhee?” he asked loudly and to that, the mentioned girl brightened up even more and with her free hand took Junho’s hand, leading him to the both of you.
“Nice to see you again, Baek,” she giggled. “We thought we would help out by giving your sweet wife a ride - me and my boyfriend Junho,” she emphasized and you thanked her through a short eye contact.
You could sense Baekhyun became tense before easing up a bit, his hand that was around your waist now leaving you so he could reach out for his daughters. He didn't know what to ask first; how did Sonhee meet you? Or how did Sonhee come to meet Junho?
“You’re in a relationship?” he finally asked politely as both Junho and Sonhee handed him the carrier baskets, the babies lying inside, sleeping. He thought it was a miracle. Even Junhee wasn’t keen on being up. While waiting for an answer, he looked over the sleeping munchkins, noting the way their faces were so focused on sleeping, lips glistening from saliva as their cheeks were rosy and puffed up. His heart swelled with affection at the sight of his healthy offsprings.
“Yes, we are,” grinned Sonhee and hugged Junho’s arm to herself while Junho nodded in agreement, not talking.
Baekhyun had a lot of thoughts at that moment. Of course, the small anger about spotting you with Junho around was still present, albeit dying down quickly. Seeing his long-time childhood friend was a shock by itself. He would have never thought he’d see you with her out of all people. There was also a sort of relief that Junho was taken but he still had an uneasy feeling about him. Did Sonhee know about Junho coming to seek you in the past?
“You guys met in the village?” questioned Baekhyun, trying to keep the awkward conversation rolling. He felt you move close to him, your arms touching.
“Yes, it’s all surreal to be honest. We first met in Junho’s gym where I work in the baby corner,” Sonhee told him, smiley and cheerful. “We didn’t know we come from the same village and even though her last name is Byun, there are still quite a lot of Byuns around, so I couldn’t connect it to you.”
“How long have you been together?”
“Three years,” replied Junho, his face calm and collected.
Baekhyun met his eye, nodding. “I see. That’s great. Thanks a lot for bringing my family home safely.”
Baekhyun found himself internally cringing. He already once thanked Junho for bringing his wife home. It just enhanced the fact that he was never around when the family needed him.
“The pleasure is ours, Baek,” mumbled gently Sonhee. There was something in her eyes that you couldn't decipher. “We will keep in touch. Go up and rest, both of you.”
You nodded and went to hug Sonhee from the side since you had Jun on your chest. You noticed Baekhyun and Junho nodding at each other before you stepped back.
“I’ll text you soon,” promised Sonhee and looked at the babies for the last time. “I hope to see you soon, little biscuits.”
You smiled at the term and said bye to the couple. Before you knew it, you were already walking inside the building to the elevators, the tension leaving your body after separating from Junho.
“So happy to be home,” you smiled pleasantly.
Baekhyun hummed, throwing you a gentle smile himself when he pressed the button for your floor and the doors closed.
“Were the babies okay?” he asked you quietly and looked at the still sleeping girls in the baskets.
“Yeah, they were all fine, don’t worry,” you reassured him as you observed his face. His hair was longer and fluffy and fell over his forehead, making him look younger. Wordlessly you reached up and brushed away some strands so they wouldn’t obscure his vision. “Are you okay, baby?”
He hummed, reciprocating now the eye contact. “Much better now that you guys are home with me. I didn’t like coming home to an empty apartment.”
You tiptoed to peck him on the lips just when the elevator stopped and you arrived at your floor. “We are together now.”
You were fast to type in the code and step in the apartment that you left one week ago.
You left it quite in distress and exhaustion, and you couldn’t have been more relieved at how refreshed and happy you were to be back.
Baekhyun already opened the windows and you heard the washing machine working. He must have already started on the chores. “Let's put them in their crib,” he told you. Quickly following him, you undid the safety straps around Jun, trying to be as quiet as possible, and lowered him in his baby blue blanket. He stirred a little, whimpering, but you shushed him gently and rubbed his head which worked right away.
Baekhyun didn’t have problems with Juna but the crybaby Junhee was always a little nightmare. As soon as he placed her on the baby yellow blanket, she scrunched up her face and let out a wail, unsatisfied with the placement. He, just like you, shushed her while caressing her soft baby hair but she wasn’t that easy to convince. So his hand went to rub on her belly gently as he whispered: “It’s okay, daddy’s here. Sleep, sweetheart, sleep.”
He could feel her tummy going up and down, the muscles tightening frantically but a few more careful drags of air and she gradually relaxed. He didn’t stop caressing her even after she went silent and fell back into her slumber, worried she would start crying. His palm could feel the nappy underneath her overall, and hear the way it rustled gently under his touch. Each baby was dressed in overalls, covering their feet and hands. It wouldn't be long before they would grow them out and the clothes would be exchanged with bigger ones.
You giggled into your palm and left him in the room to go clean yourself up. Baekhyun wasn’t dependent on you with the babies and you knew he could take equally good care of them as you did.
After a thorough shower and collecting all of yours and babies clothes, you went into the washing room and put them in the basket, ready to wash once Baekhyun’s batch was done.
You found your husband sitting on the stool chair, waiting for you. He smiled when he saw you approaching and he opened his arms widely so you could finally greet him properly. His arms enveloped around your waist, your figure standing between his legs. You buried your face in his neck and smelled that familiar scent of his.
Ah, finally, finally.
His grip tightened and his lips pressed a kiss to your jaw. “I missed you so much.”
You smiled. Even though you texted and called and kept reminding how much you missed one another while being separated, he still had to remind you.
“I missed you too. It wasn’t the same without you back home.”
He pulled away far enough to see your face up close. “Speaking of home - what exactly happened, baby?” he asked and eyed your lips. He pecked you quickly as if to say I’m not mad but please explain. “You know… I asked you something before I left.”
You sighed but affectionately. Naturally, your hand went to cup his soft cheek and he leaned into the touch, keeping the eye contact. “I know, and I promise I felt guilty for not telling you but I didn’t want you to be worried or get mad. We met in the middle of the week— well, more like Kyunga’s younger sister brought us together. She is friends with Sonhee’s sibling and this is how he came to hang out.”
“You already met a few days ago?” Baekhyun was hurt as he frowned gently, pouting. Both of you were in close touch with each other while he was in Japan and yet you didn’t even mention Sonhee or Junho.
You sucked your lips in, knowing this could hurt him and make him potentially angry at you. “Yeah, but I didn’t want you to worry…”
“Sweetheart.”
“Yes?”
He sighed, his hold around you loosening. “Should I consider you keeping stuff from me as lying? Have you been lying to me? I asked you not to meet Junho and yet you spent time with him.”
Your heart made a painful jump at his accusatory words. “No, no, Baek! I was mostly with Kyunga’s sister and Sonhee, and they explained to me why was Junho acting the way he was-“
“So you’re telling me that Sonhee is okay with Junho following married women and letting him into other people's businesses? She is okay with him eyeing other women that are taken and have children?”
Well, when he put it like that...
You looked at him with wide, innocent eyes as you made a step even closer to him. “Let me tell you what they told me. He has his reasons.”
“It just doesn’t make sense, babe,” Baekhyun reasoned with a hint of seriousness. “And I don’t see how Sonhee is okay with this. Out of all people - Sonhee? She is scared of men and everything that they can potentially do to harm her. What if Junho is also doing something to her?”
You pouted. “Let me explain, honey,” you tried one more time and caressed his cheek, fighting with your own anxiety at a possible fight.
Baekhyun looked you in the eyes, seeing the way you were honest and ready to talk. If you were lying you’d be cowering away from him, he knew that for sure.
With another sigh, he nodded. “You know when I tell you that I trust you, I don’t mean that you should keep any secrets from me. When I say I trust you I expect you to tell me things that can potentially hurt me.” He paused when he saw your prominently growing pout. “Your secrecy doesn’t sit well with me. You’ve kept stuff away from me with your work, then your jealousy and now this. Should we talk about trust again?”
A little taken aback at him pulling out the happenings of the past, you only blinked a few times, feeling guilty. He wasn't wrong. After all, you were a secretive girlfriend and you would understand if he got mad at you keeping stuff away from him again. It wasn't even about Junho. It was about you.
“Hm?” he prodded, tapping your chin from under with his index finger. “Hiding things from me doesn't help. It makes it worse,” he told you in a somber voice, raising his eyebrows.
With a sigh, you quickly tucked some unruly hair behind your ear, feeling like a scolded child. “I know. This is... '' another sigh, “just… can you hear me out? I promise I won't keep anything away from you.”
He observed you for a moment with a calm countenance. He wasn’t being unfair but you also wished he didn’t think of you the way he did.
After sucking his lips in and popping them back out, he uttered: “Tell me everything.”
And with that he took your hand away from his cheek and you almost felt hurt. Then you felt him standing up but he interlaced your fingers and went over to the couch where you sat down, facing each other. He prompted you to talk with an eyebrow raise and you nodded, telling him everything just as he wished. Just as you should have from the beginning.

You managed to become a little emotional when you told Baekhyun about Sonhee’s sister but, of course, he already knew all of it and probably even more. As soon as he saw you tear up, he was fast to hug you to him, shushing you gently while he murmured that it was okay. “Sonhee’s little sister is a happy child. Don’t cry, sweetheart.”
“I’m just… how can the world be so cruel…” you hugged him tighter around his neck and he didn’t respond anymore, instead letting you cry out your heavy heart. He tapped your leg, prompting you to sit on his lap and you did while not leaving the spot in his neck.
“And it made me realize how thankful and lucky I am to have you, Baekhyun oppa,” you weeped. Baekhyun felt the moisture from your tears on his neck, your breathing hot as you exhaled harshly through your pants. He felt the same way you did, and his heart swelled with warmth and love for you. Now that he had you sniffling and crying like this in his arms, he was reminded of a crying Junhee a while back.
“I’m thankful for what we have had since the beginning. I’m thankful that you appreciate me and respect me and that you’re there for the babies whenever you can be. I love you so much,” you said through sobs and squeezed your eyes shut, letting out more tears.
Baekhyun could only continue with rubbing your back, hoping to console you. “I love you so much, sweetheart,” he murmured into your ear. “I’m forever thankful that I have you and our healthy babies. What Sonhee’s father did is animalistic and should be punished by law. But know that both Sonhee’s mother and sister are alright and they are healthy.” He heard you sniffling more and he added: “Don’t cry, it breaks my heart.”
With the help of his words and his soft, shushing voice, you tried to ground yourself. You didn’t realize how much Sonhee’s story affected you and how much you’d been trying not to think about it. Maybe seeing Baekhyun who was the hero of Sonhee’s story made you finally weak and realize just what a gem of a man you were blessed enough to marry and receive his attention.
“Shh, it’s okay,” he shushed gently, and you heaved out one final, heavy sigh. “Everything is alright.”
Licking your dry lips, you pulled away to look at his expectant orbs. He cooed when he saw you, and his hands were on your cheeks, tapping away the tears. “You’re not mad anymore, are you?”
He looked you in the eyes, his more down-wards from the sadness swimming in them. He shook his head. “No, I’m not mad. I was just hurt. Surely you can see why oppa was hurt, right, baby?”
You nodded, pressing your lips together to will the burning tears away. “I’m sorry for making you feel hurt. I’m sorry,” you whispered and leaned your forehead against his.
“That’s okay,” he whispered back and closed his eyes. “As long as nothing happened, it’s alright and forgotten.”
You pecked him in a quick thanks.
You stayed in a comfortable silence for another ten minutes, both of you taking the time to bask in each other’s presence and collecting your thoughts. Not once did his hand stop drawing patterns on your back, the regularity of the action lulling you into a pleasant emptiness you felt after a good cry. Eventually Baekhyun patted your bum gently. “Are you sleeping, my princess?”
You murmured a small no as you laid on his shoulder and his head was resting against the backrest.
“Wanna see what oppa got you from Japan?”
At his words, you perked up with a curious smile. “You didn’t have to, honey.”
“I wanted to,” he said, mirroring your smile. “Just a little something since you’ve never been there.”
You’ve never traveled outside of Korea at all. You didn’t even own a passport but since you got everything you needed in Korea, which was Byun Baekhyun and now the munchkins, you didn’t have the need to travel anywhere unless it was with him.
“Okay.” You pushed yourself off of him and stood up, feeling a little sleepy and tired. It was already dark outside and it looked like rain was about to start pouring. That fact made you even more excited  because you didn’t have to go anywhere and you could be cozy with your husband and your munchkins inside.
He took you to your bedroom where he had the bag of various snacks prepared. Among them, a box of matcha green tea that you loved, and even a pretty red lipstick.
You looked at him with questioning eyes. “A lipstick?”
“It’s a Japanese brand,” he told you with a shrug and observed how you turned the product in your fingers. “Red lipstick suits you and I wanted to spoil you for once.”
“You always spoil me,” you told him softly when you looked up at him.
“Well, maybe when we finally get to go on a date together you can wear it for me and spoil me, hm?”
Your heart jumped at his suggestive tone. “Sure, whenever we will get to go on a date,” you added cheekily. Baekhyun groaned but he was amused.
“We will have to bother Chen and Sukyeong again.”
At the mention of Sukyeong’s name your heart deflated. You took notice of the change and you pursed your lips, unsure what these feelings were about.
“Babe? You good?” asked Baekhyun when he saw you becoming distant.
You nodded, snapping back to a smile. You tiptoed and pressed your lips to his cheek. “Thank you for the gift,” you murmured. “I’ll make sure to wear it for you well.
In a second you felt his lips touch yours, not letting you retrieve from his personal space. His arms circled your waist and he took the lipstick in your hand to throw it on the bed before he placed his warm palm on your cheek.
You circled your arms around his neck and hummed when he outlined your lower lip with his tongue. He pressed himself closer to you, savoring the moment that enabled him to finally kiss you.
“Since you were with Junho behind my back, I’m keeping the picture in my phone,” he murmured against your lips when he separated with a wet smooch. “I’m not deleting it.”
You looked at him with wide eyes. “But oppa-“
“I said,” he pressed strictly though playfully, and his hands wandered to your bum, fondling with the cheeks before pressing down on them. “You better listen to me, little lady.”
Once again the passion in your tummy was reignited. Baekhyun was gazing at you through hooded eyes, his voice low and warning. It shot electricity down your insides and you squirmed in his arms. “What will you do with it?”
More like, what did I do with it, he thought.
Baekhyun wanted to laugh at your innocence. No matter what he did with you, be it in bed or just play with words, he never could break through your endless innocence. “Hmm, what do you think I’ll do with it?”
You bit your lip, which caught Baekhyun’s eye. “Threaten me with it.”
“What? No, babe, why would I use it against you…”
“I don’t know,” you murmured sheepishly. “If you need to keep it, then…” you blinked your eyes at him, and it made Baekhyun become breathless. “I’d like to make a new one. I want to be satisfied with the picture too, you know?”
Baekhyun had a hard time keeping his cool. He swallowed harshly and he felt like he wasn’t leading the game anymore. You were. “You’d like me to…” he nuzzled your nose, his thumbs resting next to your lips, each pressing down on the corner of them, “take a picture of your body again?” He breathed a kiss on your parted lips, still watching you. “Is that what you’re saying, my little lady?”
Shakily, you breathed him in. “Yeah.” Even when the babies started to whimper and cry in the background, you didn't separate. Intensively looking him in the eye, you were keen on making him quiver.
“Baby,” he closed his eyes, pressing his forehead to yours. “What are you doing to me? I can't just let you leave now.”
Your eyes danced as they tried to count each eyelash that brushed his flushed cheeks. “Not now, but let me prepare better later.”
“What is there to prepare? Your body is a goddess,” he almost hissed and placed his hands on your hips. His eyes were fiery as they reopened, burning into your soul. But he softened up quickly. “But I'll do as you wish.”
You smiled gently, pecking him. Baekhyun was about to deepen the kiss, leaning over you and therefore making you bend backwards with a smile but you stepped back and out of his grip. “Duty calls,” you smirked, untangling yourself.  You just heard his flustered laugh as you made your way out of the bedroom, satisfied but very much bothered.
<3
His body heat under the blanket made you feel warm and cozy. You buried your face deeper in his neck, and Baekhyun chuckled quietly at your clinginess. He tightened his arms around you, squeezing your waist and middle to his side.
“You smell like baby oil,” you murmured with appreciation, “I love it.”
While you were working around the house, Baekhyun took good care of the triplets. He missed them more than he thought he would, given how much hard work they were, and he ended up being with them for almost the rest of the day. He bugged you about helping out but you were more than happy to leave him with the crybabies that needed a nappy change every two hours (or sooner).
Throughout the day you saw him playing with the triplets, lying on the playmat with them as he lifted each of them up above his body, then slowly bringing them back down and straight to his puckered lips to kiss their wild laughter away. Their chubby cheeks were protruding, their grins were toothless, and you’d never been happier to hear your babies’ laughter. Baekhyun’s own chuckles were making you realize what happiness truly was, despite being busy and tired.
After lining up each baby, he had told them to wait when their turn was up, because at the airports the planes also patiently wait until it would be their time to take off.
“You’re a helicopter, Juna,” he’d told the clueless baby nonchalantly as he lifted her up. “You’re helping daddy to train biceps too, so I’d say you’re almost a five kilogram weight! How’s that!” With that he had lifted her higher as he made a noise that was supposed to sound like a helicopter, and then swiftly brought her down, Juna’s hysterical laugh resounding in each room of the apartment. At those moments, you had found yourself eagerly snapping pictures and videos from the corner, your own smile hurting your cheeks.
Back to the present, Baekhyun spoke up: “You always smell like baby oil,” he pointed, his breath fanning the top of your head. “I actually went to this shop in Japan and smelled a baby oil just to be reminded of you and our babies,” he admitted. You could hear amusement in his voice and you giggled, hiding your face deeper in his neck. If it was even possible.
“So cute, daddy Baek. You missed the nappy change too?”
He squeezed you in warning. “Yah, don’t tease.”
“Just admit that you didn’t,” you quipped, your lips brushing the skin on his neck. Baekhyun shivered, your light touches making it hard for him to stay focused.
“Okay, I didn’t,” he sulked. “Who does…?”
His fingers ran through your hair, the way he brushed the strands causing ticklish sensations. You brought your face out from his neck and looked at him, caching his glinting eyes. Grinning cheekily, you saw how he registered your mischief and responded with an equally cheeky smile before you leaned in, pecking him on the lips, too quickly for his lips to react and therefore accidentally kissing his teeth.
“Oh, wait, that didn’t count,” he protested with a laugh, “one more.”
“Hmm, I don’t know…”
He squeezed you again and you laughed. “One more, that’s not fair.” He puckered his lips and you had to suppress a wide smile at the way he looked so cute and soft and just so cuddle-worthy.
You leaned in and pressed a lingering kiss to his awaiting lips, making a little smooch sound. “Mmm, that’s better.” But you didn’t stop, instead leaned in again and this time opened your lips slightly, catching his upper one between yours. You enveloped yourself lips around it, bringing it into your mouth and Baekhyun instantly closed his eyes at the moist feel of your mouth. A low moan rumbled in his throat when he let you lead the kiss that grew passionate within seconds.
Soon enough, you climbed over him, straddling his waist while being careful not to touch an inappropriate part. His hands slid around your naked thighs, the palms outlining their shape as they made their way to your backside, caressing and massaging the mounds that poked out from under the shirt’s hem.
God, you missed him and his presence.
He deepened the kiss when he licked into your mouth, challenging your dominance in the kiss. Your hands were in his hair and on his cheeks and neck before they dove back into his soft strands. One of his hands wandered inside your shirt, the trailing fingertips tickling the untouched skin on your hips and sides. You opened your mouth with a loud exhale and Baekhyun hummed again when you shimmied on his middle. Your hands now caressed his chest and pectorals, loving the feel of the ridges under your palms.
“Ah, babe,” you groaned when he cupped your mound and massaged it gently. He chased your lips as he lifted his head up a bit, tipping his chin up to reach your pink lips.
He moaned at the feel of the fullness of your breast and you were becoming affected quickly as well, heartbeat speeding up, his touches electrifying you into a sighing, whimpering mess.
“Hell, I need you,” he practically groaned into your mouth. He had been restless throughout the day, fighting the urge to take you just like that whenever he saw you as much as lean over the babies or feed them. The time he spent away from his family gave him a good idea of what was important in his life. Though time made him yearn for you more, he also realized that he just wanted to make you feel good, too. Having hardships with triplets, he had to make sure you would have some good time with him when the time allowed it.
Also, he almost couldn't believe the words you uttered today, only irking him more and making him curious about this new part of you that he and you were discovering at the same time. Baekhyun started to believe that whatever game he would start with you, you would continue.
You whimpered and pushed yourself lower so that you could tease him where he needed you the most. Baekhyun groaned loudly, head craning back to reveal his smooth neck that you didn't hesitate to kiss and bite gently, so as not to mark the skin.
“Missed me, oppa?” you breathed eagerly.
“Yeah, I missed my sweetest sweetheart so much, but,” he trailed off as one hand went up to cup your cheek, “now you have an idea what oppa had your photo for.” With a cheeky wink, he kissed you again and you swore you felt even more aroused than before, the whole idea of Baekhyun doing stuff while looking at the—
He made you squeal as he switched positions, your back gently colliding with the mattress as you tried to quieten your laugh. He nestled himself between your legs and with a bright, boyish smile dived back to kiss you senseless.
Even though he had your photo, a real you could never compare.

The next day you awoke too early, even before your babies could do the job for you. You were a little warm, and you had a queasy feeling in your tummy, almost as if you were nauseous. Quickly recollecting what you had the day before, you concluded you didn’t eat anything out of the ordinary. Yet the undeniable reflex to gag was still there.
You turned to the other side, facing Baekhyun who was still fast asleep. His bare shoulders were poking out from beneath the comforter and his hair was messy, most probably due to what you did last night.
You admired his sleeping features and he seemed so peaceful. There was a lot happening for him and you chastised yourself for giving him more things to worry about. Slowly you reached out and brushed some hair away from his eyes, his slumber so deep he didn’t even budge at your silk touch.
Since the uncomfortable feeling wasn’t going away, you slid out of the warm sheets quietly. You ignored the gentle throbbing between your legs and thighs, and went to the bathroom. Cold water and freshening up should be the cure to everything.
You were a little alarmed, because it couldn’t be what you were scared it could be. With a cringe, you remembered how last night went as well. Unable to pull out, passion and desire too strong to be careful about what consequences the action could lead to. And you could only slap your forehead for being irresponsible like that. Neither of you were horny teenagers, so why had it been so hard to behave recently?
“It’s impossible,” you murmured to yourself after finishing a quick, cold shower to make the feeling go away. “I can’t be pregnant...”
Thankfully, the shower did its magic and you made your way to the kitchen, ready to prepare breakfast and Baekhyun’s lunch for work.
Only then you were able to process something that you had completely forgotten about yesterday.
Kyunghee and the YouTube channel.
You were stirring the morning porridge when you pulled out your phone with a haste, your heart beating just a little faster than it was normal. Just as expected, you found many unopened messages from an eager Kyunghee. She linked the video in your chatroom and when you clicked on it, you were immediately met with your parents' house and her cheerful: “I'm at the Byun's!”
Your eyes automatically darted to the viewer count and your eyes doubled in size. “What!”
“What what?”
You whirled around from the stove to spot Baekhyun emerging from your bedroom, buttoning up his white shirt, the action immediately catching your eye. He was giving you a questioning look as he smirked.
“I just…” you sighed inwardly when you had yet another thing that you didn’t mention to him. Even though you didn’t fight, you were worried this would tick your husband off for real. You quickly turned off the stove and faced him.
“What is it, sweetheart?” he murmured, finishing the last button. He caressed your lower back after stopping in front of you, a hum following the action to coax you into talking. It was unconscious but you squeezed the phone in your hands and braced yourself.
“Honey, so you know how Kyunghee spent a lot of time with me and our munchkins?” you started,  carefully picking your words as you stood up straight to face him. Your hand smoothened his chest, the surface dipping with the outline of his pectoral underneath. You went on to finger the buttons, innocently blinking up at him to ease the severity of your news to him.
Honestly, you yourself had no clue what to think of this. Your face wasn’t visible in the videos but your babies were exposed.
“Baby, as much as I’d love to give you time, I’ve got a morning lecture to do,” spoke up Baekhyun after going quiet on him. “Tell me.”
“So… Uh, Kyunghee is doing Youtube and she happened to make a video about me and our babies and so she uploaded that video and now it has almost one million views though yesterday it was only the half of it and I had no clue it will-“
“She what? The youtube video has… what,” he breathed in disbelief.
“Yeah, she uploaded a video and now it is trending and-“
“Show me,” he said, not waiting for you, instead stepping away so he could reach for your phone.
Your hand shot out to grab it and you blurted: “Maybe once you’re back!”
“Oh, darling, you just said my family is exposed to almost a million people and I should wait until evening to see the video?” he asked, scoffing. “I want to see it now.”
You whimpered, pushing out your lower lip at him. Baekhyun eyed your lip with amusement.
“C’mon, I don’t have a lot of time,” he reminded you with an eyebrow raise.
With a deep sigh, you unlocked your phone and then clicked to play the video. You sat up on the high chair and Baekhyun moved behind you, his arms circling your waist. “I just want to see you guys shine,” he whispered into your ear, kissing the shell of it gently. He didn’t want any funny thoughts entering your mind. Your heart skipped at his gentleness and you finally pressed play.
As you were watching the YouTube video in the kitchen, with his arms nestled under your breasts, you couldn’t help the wide smile whenever you saw your babies and your hands or half of your body.
Baekhyun chuckled lowly at some points; you felt his arms tighten when the video showed you struggling with the babies. Upon Junho appearing together with Sonhee for the slightest of moments, you felt him go a little motionless.
“There were so many people at the market,” you told him with a chirped voice to distract him, “and they were all so talkative and gossipy and just-” you sighed, “paying too much attention to me.”
Baekhyun let out a little laugh, his breath fanning your neck. He knew you were too shy when you received more attention than what you were used to receiving. “I don't like it,” he murmured with a small sigh eventually into your neck while his eyes were taking in the way the village boys were roaming around your stall, your mother diligently consulting the price while some of them were eyeing you. “I don't like them looking at you like that.”
An electric shock ran down your spine when he sounded so husky out of nowhere. Suddenly, you were all too aware of his intimate touch, the way he had you in his arms and his warm breaths on your skin. “It was just a market craze.”
“Market craze? Or my little lady craze?” he whispered.
You pinked under his strong spell; one week apart and you grew weaker. Baekhyun's power would always have the same magic it had on you years ago. You couldn't run away and hide.
Instead of replying, you only squirmed in his hold, and Baekhyun breathed a kiss on your neck. “I guess we both know the answer.”
You turned your head slightly and caught his eye instantly. “You’re not mad then?”
His features softened. “I’m not mad. I mean… wasn’t it fun? Kyunghee and her comments are so cute and it captures well the reality of having triplets.”
The video ended and Baekhyun reached out for your phone to scroll through the comments while you turned in the chair so you were facing him again. He had a slight frown as his thumb was scrolling too fast for you to catch up.
“Some people want you to reveal your face,” he murmured, engrossed, “and some want more tips from the cute mother. Oh, another one is asking if you have your own YouTube channel!” He looked up at you as if he had light-bulbs lighting up around him.
You shrugged. “I don’t…?”
Baekhyun mimicked your shrug and put your phone down. “But you could…?”
“Huh? Me? A YouTube channel? I don’t even have a camera!”
“Well, how did Kyunghee film?” he asked nonchalantly.
Did he really want that answer? “She got a camera as a gift.”
“No way,” Baekhyun blinked. “Who gives such expensive gifts in our village?”
You shrugged. “Ask her.”
“I’m sure you know it.”
“Well, I forgot!”
He sighed, albeit affectionately but he didn’t bug you. “You can make a video with your phone camera too.”
“I don’t know…” you trailed off, eyes going back down to the wooden floor.
As you tried to avoid his stare you realized that the babies had yet to wake up which was a surprise. They really slept through many hours and even though you checked them after waking up, it was still strange. “I will check the munchkins, they need feeding,” you murmured absolutely not trying to avoid the conversation.
“Honey,” he stopped you as you slid off the chair. “You can think about it and fill up your days with filming, that would be cool, right?”
“You’re right but… I’d have to figure it first out.”
“Just call Kyunghee and ask what she does, I bet she would be super happy to tell you. Especially since she is responsible for your fame now..”
Baekhyun was looking at you with sincere interest and a very sweet smile. He wanted you to give it a go. You seemed quite natural with the baby work, and talking like a good friend to the camera and, he had to admit, the both of you had something not many had - triplets.
And Baekhyun, as much as he tried not being busy, knew he couldn’t be by your and munchkins' side all the time. If this meant you’d finally find a hobby and become a little open to the world, he’d wanted you to try. He wanted you to go back to the way you used to be.

A/N: The previous chapter ended with “double-trouble” and some of you didnt know what exactly it meant. The issues the couple has arent even directly about Junho anymore - its the communication that OC doesnt do well with Baek. I hope it was clear in this part ^^
Happy weekend! 💛🤗

Winner Takes All [Chapter Three] (Jun and Donghun)
Tumblr media
Title: Winner Takes All
Pairing: Jun (A.C.E) x Reader x Donghun (A.C.E)
Genre: Fluff; Slight Angst
Word Count: 8.7K Words [All Chapters]
Writer: Kpopmadness & Whattodowithkpop
*****
It had been a couple weeks since the jousting tournament had taken place. Whilst at the match, The King had invited Jun and his family to a royal feast for old times sake.
The Princess had dressed in an elegant white dress, one the flowed out around her as she walked. Her footsteps were light on the carpet as she made her way through the palace halls, heading towards the dining room to wait for the guests to arrive. As her feet carry her, her mind begins to wander, reminiscing on the times when she was younger, playing with the young Prince Jun in the palace’s courtyard.
Jun and The Princess would adventure around the shrubbery maze together, discovering new pathways and secret entrances that the gardeners used to get from one place to another for easier watering access. Jun was a bit timid, following behind her closely as she lead the way through the maze. Every little thing would make him jump, even the smallest ladybug had him gripping her arm in fear as it flew close to him. On many occasions The Princess had called him a baby, but that never stopped him from using her as a human shield.
The Princess smiles to herself as the memories play in her mind, preoccupying her, making the trip to the dinning room seem much quicker. The King and The Queen were already seated at the table, the queen busying herself into a book whilst the king created contraptions with the silverware that lay across the table. The Princess smiles fondly as she takes a seat across from her mother, sitting up straight and proper as her mother had taught her.
“You two better behave yourselves.” Her mother states in monotone as she never once glances up from her book.
The two seated next to each other look to one another with cheeky smiles, laughter already bubbling up inside of them.
“Yes ma’am.” The Princess snickers out.
The entrance of the butler is what snaps the family out of their previous doings. The Butler announces that the royal family had arrived. The Queen stands as she places her book on a table next to stairs. The King and The Princess stand alongside her, ready to greet their guests.
As the royals enter the dining hall, they are hit with a feeling of nostalgia from all the dinners they had shared together in this very room. The residents of the palace bow in greeting, the king expressing his excitement for their company.
“Welcome. Please make yourselves at home.”
The guests also bow in greeting, expressing thanks for the invitation into the lovely home.
After formalities were exchanged, the kings and queens rush towards each other to embrace the other pair. Having been distant for so long you’d think they would’ve stuck to formalities for awhile, but their bond was still as strong as ever.
The Princess looks to Jun smiling brightly, him returning the smile as he approaches her.
“It’s been awhile.” He says, gently taking her hand in his. He leads her hand to his lips, placing a respectful kiss atop it.
She giggle at him. “It has been.”
Jun’s smile widens as he releases her hand, following behind her as she leads the way to the large table that was centered in the room.
Jun takes a seat next to the princess, practicing his correct table manners as he places his napkin in his lap to catch any food that he happened to spill.
The Princess smiles at him as she watches his careful movements.
“You’ve grown so much, but you’re still quite the gentleman.” She comments as she looks into his eyes fondly.
“You’ve also grown up quite well, Princess.” Jun compliments. “Although I must say, the dagger is new.” The Princess tilts her head as she watches Jun avert his eyes, keeping them downward into his lap as his ears redden in color.
“Unfortunately, because of the reoccurrence of knights trying to court me, I had to determine a way to rid of them.” The Princess states proudly as the firsts plates are placed in front of everyone, the meal having begun.
“This way of dealing is one only you would adopt, Princess.” Jun smiles as his eyes look into hers deeply.
The Princess smiles, feeling butterflies begin to flutter in her stomach at his gaze.
The queens observe the pair from their seats, smiling knowingly at each other as they begin to eat their meal.
~
The dinner had went well, all the plates had been picked clean as the conversation in the dining hall continued. Jun and The Princess sat in silence as they watched their parents talk with each other, just smiling at their conversations.
“You two should go out to the courtyard.” The Queen suggests as she looks at the two young adults.
The Princess looks to Jun who was already looking to her.
“It’ll be different this time I promise.” Jun jokes, referring to his cowardice as a child.
The Princess rolls her eyes with a smile. “Let’s go.” She stands from the dinner table, Jun walking beside her as they walked the familiar hallway towards the darkened outside.
As they approached the door they could see the moonlight shining into the palace through the wall to wall glass doors.
Jun opens the door, holding it for the princess to enter as he followed behind her.
The moon was bright overhead as it shined over the courtyard. The fireflies lit up the world around them as they flew around the water fountain that was stood in the middle of the maze. As the two looked to each other, seeing the moonlight in each other’s eyes they felt an unfamiliar tingling in their chests, making them both look away in embarrassment.
“Shall we walk the maze?” The Princess suggests after she clears her throat, standing at the entrance of the maze which, when they were little, had seemed much bigger than in actuality.
The two travel through the maze, observing the small flower buds that were emerging in the spring air.
“If a ladybug scares you this time I wont protect you like when we were kids.” The princess teases when they approach the fountain, the water glistening against the moon.
“I am much braver now.” Jun brags confidently.
They stand next to the fountain, facing each other. They stare at each other a moment, smiles widening on their faces.
Due to their focus being on each other, they don’t hear the rustling from the bushes. The royal blue corgi, Byeol, had followed the pair to the fountain. She approached them, sitting many feet from them as she watches the two slowly move closer towards the other.
Just before their breathes coincide, Byeol lets out a high pitched bark
Jun gasps in shock as he falls towards the princess, grabbing her arm as he loses his balance, dragging her with him into the fountain.
Jun held himself up with his hands behind his back, sitting in the cold water. The Princess was sprawled across his lap, water drops falling from her hair. Jun shakes his head, water drops flying from his hair. “Oh my gosh, are you okay?” He asks with worry as she coughs from the cold water that had entered her throat at the initial dunk.
She looks up to Jun, looking him in the eyes as she laughs. “Jun, I’m fine.” She looks to the blue corgi who was perched on the edge of the fountain looking at the soaking pair. “You really got scared by Byeol?”
Jun blushes deeply as he looks at the panting puppy. “My defenses were down.”
The Princess tenses as she finally realizes their position, her hands on either side of his hips as she straddles his right thigh. Her own face blushes as she looks at Jun’s dark hair that was no longer styled up due to the water weighing it down over his eyes. Her heart beat quickened as she took in his features that glistening due to the water coating them.
Jun looks into her eyes, finding her staring at him. He looks down, seeing her on his thigh making him gulp nervously. Her white dress was becoming transparent because of the water, making him jerk his eyes back to her blue ones which didn’t ease his nervousness as he got lost in them.
She darts her eyes to his lips for a split second, encouraging Jun to lean his head towards hers slowly, giving her a chance to stop his advances. Instead, she recuperates his actions, leaning into him more.
Their lips meet in a wet kiss, their bodies heating them up from the tingling feeling of each other.  Jun brings one hand up to her face, holding her cheek slightly as the kiss continues. Neither one furthering the kiss, but they both run out of breath before pulling away. The two look each other in the eyes, their breaths slightly labored as the smile.
“You are still a hot mess, Junhee.” The Princess giggles as water continues to drop from both of their heads.
“It got us into this situation.” He smiles goofily. “I think I’m okay with that.”
The Princess rolls her eyes as she smiles again, leaning in to share another kiss.

Yandere!A.C.E reaction to you trying to run away
Warnings: yandere, attempted suicide(skip Donghun’s part if you are uncomfortable, but I reassure you that nobody dies), punishments, manipulation, violent themes, suggestive content
Type: mature
Requested: yes
Jun
You would try to sneak out during the night when he wasn’t at home. He told you he had to do some groceries. You were naive enough to believe him. Little did you know that it was actually a test. You packed few of your necessities in a bag and moved towards your door.
You couldn’t believe that you are a few seconds away from freedom. You opened the door and immediately felt the fresh air hit your face gently. You inched fast towards the road and called a taxi.
After a few minutes, the most intense minutes of your life to be exact, since you feared that Jun might come home and see you outside, the cab appeared in front of you. You entered the car and told the driver the address of a motel outside of the town.
“Oh. I’m sorry, miss… But I can’t do that.”
“Why? I know it’s far, but I assure you I have enough money to pay. Now , please. Just go!”, you spitted this words so fast out of your mouth, just wanting to finally drive away from there.
“I have no doubt that you have the money. But Junhee is a dear friend of mine and I owe him big time.”, the driver smiled at you.
“W-what?”, you tried to exit the car, but it was locked. “Let me go!”
You screamed and cried for few more minutes, hoping that a passerby might hear you and help you. Somebody finally knocked on the window next to you and you immediately turned to it, with so much hope in your eyes. Only to be welcomed by a smirking Jun waving at you.
“Missed me, baby? Oh, and thank you Byun for helping”
“No problem. The pleasure was mine to help!”, the driver answered back while he unlocked the doors.
Junhee took you out of the car and dragged you back to the house.
“I knew I shouldn’t trust you so easily! Don’t worry, you have me. I’m always here to teach you how to behave. Maybe one day you’ll learn, smart ass. Now, since this is your first mistake, I will go easy on you. I’ll let you decide. You can either come here and bend over my knee or I can pay a visit to your friends. I haven’t seen them in awhile”
“So what’s your choice?”
Tumblr media
Donghun
The rope entangled your neck, you could feel the rough texture scraping your skin, but you don’t have the time to worry about it. You tried everything, trying every method out there to run away from Donghun. Since there was no way out, you thought that taking your own life was the only way to escape.
“Ah, there you are” Donghun walks into the room, not showing any signs of worry about the position you’re in. Instead, he inched closer to the sofa in front of you holding an outfit in his hands, then he glanced at you
“You know, I invited your family over today as a surprise. You’ve been acting so good to me lately. They’ll be here any second now. ” He pauses, waiting for the words to sink in. “Now, how do you think they’d feel if they see you like this? You haven’t spoken to them in such a long time, and the first thing they’ll see is your dead body? That’s the greeting you’re giving them? Really, Y/n? How can you be so selfish, babe? You want all the attention, don’t you?” He places the clothes on the sofa and then walks towards you calmly, a smile on his face. Donghun’s hands are outstretched, reaching out to you.
“Come down from there, love. Even if you make mistakes, I love you…You are so bad to me, yet I still forgive you…”, he cupped your face gently. “And you should get dressed up, your mom said she was going to take a lot of pictures. After you finish, please help me fix my tie. I should look perfect for my future mother in law.”
“I’m the only one who could ever love you.”
Tumblr media
Wow
You quickly moved around your room trying to gather all your things, shoving them inside your backpack. You were trembling with anxiety as you hurried to pack your things and leave, but just then you heard the door handle moving and the door swing open, with Sehyoon standing there in shock as he stared at you from the doorway.
You were shocked, you slowly turned to look at him. You couldn’t move anymore. He wasn’t supposed to be home for another hour or two. You knew you were caught red handed and worried for what might happen next.
“What- what are you doing..”he asked suddenly after a long pause of heavy silence, though he already knew, but a part of him wished he was wrong.
“Sehyoon, I-”
“If you think you can leave me, then you are extremely wrong’’ he cut you off. “ I won’t let you go! I can’t let you go!Oh, God…It was something I did wasn’t it?” he put his hands on his head, tucking at his hair strands,as his lower lip quivered violently. “I-I..you know I would never do anything wrong to you, right? I love you so much! I would do anything for you! Why? Why are you trying to hurt me?”, at this point he already started crying and shaking.
He inched closer to you, trying to engulf you in his embrace, but you grabbed your bag and stepped away from him. “I-..I’m leaving..”
Hearing this, he stopped for a moment before going up to you and trying to get the bag away from you. “Please… Don’t do this...”
“Stop! You are too much, Sehyoon! I can’t move an inch because of you! I am so done!”, you huffed while moving away from him.
“Ok.”, he simply said, his face motionless.
“Ok?”, you didn’t expect this, you have never taken in account the possibility of him letting you go away.
“If this is what you want, then just go… I love you…”, he gazed into his eyes.Even if you were the victim, you somehow felt guilty for leaving. Yes, he is extremely clingy. And yes, you feel suffocated by him. But did he actually ever did something bad to you? At this point, you started to doubt your actions.
Little do you know, Sehyoon actually knew you were trying to escape him, having plenty of time to prepare his melodramatic act. Did you really think that he would let you leave that easy? After all he had done for you?
“I wish you would just let me have you…”
Tumblr media
Byeongkwan
He was always extremely hot-tempered, so you were on edge when you planned your escape. You had to be careful, making sure that he wouldn’t find out, especially since you were having one of your friends, help you move out, a friend which technically you weren’t allowed to have.  It was finally the day of your escape and Byeongkwan was out of the house for the day, or at least that’s what you thought.
Your friend came in, trying to reassure you that everything was going to work out, but you couldn’t help but feel as if the two of you were being watched and you were right. Byeongkwan was standing in a dark corner of the room you were in, quietly hiding until he couldn’t take anymore and he appeared right in front of you, making you slightly jump with a small gasp.
Your friend asked what was wrong as he picked up one of your bags, but as soon as he saw Byeongkwan, he was thrown off guard as he took a step back. Byeongkwan walked up to him and grabbed him, his next move scared you, he was knocking his fist against his face over and over again making you scream. “Kwan! Get off of him! Stop!”
At the sound of your voice he stopped for a moment, and looked over at you, huffing with a look full of anger as he remembered that you were trying to leave, and with someone else.
“Don’t even dare to call me like that. You tried to escape me! With some random guy…” He turned back at your friend and smirked at him.
“Do you like cars?”, Byeongkwan asked your friend all of a sudden
“Cars? I-i like them…W-why?”, your friend stuttered the words out.
“Well… I thought about it. Since I clearly won’t allow Y/n leave me, it would come off rude if I didn’t drive you back home. I have a new car, you might like it”
“O-ok”, your friend accepted the offer.
Big mistake. It was an enjoyable ride for Byeongkwan, but he had to keep the volume of the radio pretty high, since your friend’s muffled screams were pretty loud as he was tied to the back of the car and dragged on the sore asphalt while Byeongkwan drove to his address.
“They should do something about these bumpy roads. It’s not good for the skin, don’t you think so?”
Tumblr media
Chan
He thought you were perfect. So perfect, that the only person who deserves you is him. No other person deserves your love. Only him.
It scared you. You wanted this relationship to be over and so you told him. He didn’t believe you. You are his everything, you can’t leave him. You love him, right? You probably just don’t know how to act out your feelings. But Chan is willing to teach.
Next day you packed your stuff and you were ready to leave but the door was locked and you couldn’t open it.
“You are still here! I knew you were joking! Baby, you scared me to death yesterday and I decided to change the locks.”
“Chan, let me go! I am so done with this, with us!”
“Oh, baby you are so naive. You don’t even acknowledge your own feelings.”, he sweetly smiled at you
.“Chan, get this in you head. I. Don’t. Love. You.”, you accentuated every word clearly.
“Oh, Y/N. I hate you too~”, he cutely said.At this point, you thought that he was completely crazy, sick in the head, you did not even know how to react.
“Baby, I am kind of hungry. Do you want to help me prepare something?”. Chan was simply a difficult person to you, he clearly was not healthy, nor sane.
“I am not helping you with anything. I am leaving.”, you moved away from him, but he inched closer and closer until your back hit the door.
“And how are you going to do that, baby?”, his dark gaze tore into your soul.”What? Cat got your tongue?” Chan snickered at you, enjoying how you became more and more scared.
“I was so nice to you, but since you declined my offer, I am not going to give you anything to eat for the rest of the week. Maybe if I will feel generous, I’ll let you lick the plate. How does this sound, baby?”
“Do you really think you can get away from me?”

The Five Steps to a Perfect Marriage
Hello folks! I hope you enjoyed the first part (you can find it here) and will like this second one! This is for my beloved Mars @iwillgiveyoumyhappiness, I hope I did you justice and write something that you can read and say “I’m happy”. I love you dude, you know it!  To anyone else, if you wanna request something, my inbox is open! Love ya!  Pairing: Yuchan x Reader Genre: FLUFF. A LOT OF FLUFF.  Words count: 4.3k+
Tumblr media
“The five steps to a perfect marriage.“
Staring at the magazine into your hands, you tried to memorize as many words as possible, the delicate hands of the hairdresser who worked wonders on your hair. Always too many that every time you visited the salon, you left enough for a wig.
Yet, in your heart, you felt that those five steps wouldn’t help in your case. The conventional had never been to your liking or to your future husband.
Biting your lip and trying to hold a smile, you started to list your five steps for a perfect wedding in your mind. A wedding that you didn’t know when would happen, but that promise made more than 3 years earlier by the sea was worth as much as the first day.
Step One: Let Yuchan participate.
The problem was only one: Your tastes were diametrically opposed. If you liked vanilla, he was a lover of chocolate. If you wanted to go to the mountains to ski, he wanted to enjoy a few days basking in the sun. Then you’ll think: how is it possible that you were friends for years and then start a relationship?
By paying the bill for your treatment, you left the store, thanking that it was a sunny day without the constant humidity that you hated so much. The hairdresser allowed you to take the wedding magazine, noting the dreamy look with which you had read it from top to bottom in less than an hour. -Marshmallow, Marshmallow- Xiumin’s voice made you smile, and you immediately picked up the phone from your jeans pocket, a message from your boyfriend. - Beautiful, how about we lock ourselves in your apartment tonight, eat some junk food and watch Letters to Juliet? -
This was how it was possible to be together, talking about friendship slowly turned into the love that flew in your veins. You knew each other’s tastes, and compromises were the base of your relationship. Yet neither of you complained about it, perhaps because the result was to live fully every moment together. By quickly pressing your fingertips on the screen, you sent your answer - how could you say no to your favorite movie? - which was immediately greeted with a selfie where he sent you a kiss.
"You’re unbelievable Yuchan,” you murmured in a whisper, finally arriving home and about to get rid of your shoes and clothes, welcoming the cuddles of a nice relaxing bath. On entering the apartment, you noticed a bunch of flowers - your favorites - on the table with a card resting next to it.
-To the most important woman of my life - after mom, you know - there is a relaxing bath waiting for you, see you later. I love you. Y.-
“Never fight moms.. they’re invincible,” giggling you started to slip off the various layers of clothes and let them fall on the floor, you would have tidied up later, smelling the scent of lavender and marigold coming out of the crack under the bathroom door.
Yes, by now, you were convinced that Yuchan would pout his whole life if you excluded him from the preparations for your wedding.
Step Two: Convince Yuchan’s parents that your marriage would be something intimate.
“WHY CAN’T YOU SAY TO THEM THAT WE WON’T DO ANYTHING EXTREME, BUT SOMETHING INTIMATE? IT’S ABOUT US, THE TWO OF US, YUCHAN!”
It’s been an hour, your screams kept booming between the walls in the dorm, while Yuchan was sitting on the couch exhausted by that quarrel that seemed not to want to end. He was aware that his parents could be oppressive, but they were the main reason he was the man he was, how could he say no to something they always wanted for their son? You, on the other hand, were as tired as he was, but you wouldn’t have accepted anything but “you’re right, I’ll talk to them.”
Two months had passed since the day he asked you to officially become his wife, a day you would never forget because of the sweetness that accompanied every single moment. You were busy and had already made many compromises, including opting for a restaurant for the after party because your house wasn’t big enough to host such an event but just the ceremony.
“Don’t you have anything to say?” You asked coldly, standing across the room as you could hear the whispers of Donghun and Sehyoon coming from the too-thin walls of the dorm. “Yuch–”
“What do you want me to say? They’re my parents!” He interrupted you by getting up from the couch, and with long strikes, he was in front of you, making you go back until the wall was your only support. “What can I do? I can’t choose between you, no–”
“I’m not asking you to choose,” the tears, held back until then, began to run silently on your cheeks and at that sight, Yuchan felt his heart sunk into the pit of his stomach, almost pierced by a thousand blades. “I just wish that… I want our marriage to be about us, not the ceremony.”
Yuchan remained silent, looking into your eyes and with his thumb caressed your cheek collecting the tears that continued to run on your soft skin.
He knew that you didn’t usually cry in front of others, you often closed yourself in silence without answering, so your heart was aching pretty bad to get to that point. He sighed and went to rest his forehead against your shoulder, knowing - in his heart - that you were right and that day was YOURS, not of others.
Your arms, instinctively, went to surround his waist tightening firmly in the hope of clinging to him because at that moment you felt - despite your natural strength - that something inside you was crashing.
“You know what I thought when I asked you to marry me?” His question was soft, muffled by the fabric of your shirt, his hands caressing your back while your silence was his answer. “I thought I would never upset you enough to shed tears. You are such an independent and strong person, knowing that… I hurt you at this point makes me think I’m a bad boyfriend.”
“Yu–”
He sighed again and lifted his head and leaned his forehead against yours, losing himself in the beauty of your eyes even though they were red and slightly swollen.  His tapered fingers began to caress that face he loved so much, trying to let go of what he thought. Sometimes during the most stressful moments, his mind closed completely. Anything inside it couldn’t get out, resulting in a passive and dull Yuchan. He wanted it to be different with you, he had always worked on it. His words choked on his throat, his lips moved, but not a single sound came out. You knew what was going on, and no matter how much you hated the reason why you were arguing, you hated seeing him in those conditions more.
Your hands clasped his face tightly, gently squeezing it until you felt his soft lips on yours. At first, you caressed them slowly, almost fearfully, letting the salty taste be swept away by the chocolate that still lingered on his bottom lip. It was he, feeling something snap and the desperate need for you, who deepened that chaste and innocent kiss.  His body clung to yours, with strength, as he rested a hand on your neck and the other on your hip. Fingers pressed into the flesh as your lips began to bite, the desire for each other too strong. A little moan, his teeth were slowly biting on your upper lip, left from your mouth and forced him to stop having to catch his breath. “If I continue… We won’t solve the problem.”
“No…” you agreed, having to clear your voice and calm your accelerated breathing, “not at all…”
“I’m going to my parents to talk to them, but later I swear…” he grunted, touching your lips with the tip of his tongue, languidly drawing the outline, “we lock ourselves in the bedroom for the whole weekend.”
“Not bad as an idea, not bad.”
Third step: Don’t worry too much about the details (aka let the boys help you choose the cake, give them the honor of being the first to inaugurate the karaoke, don’t expect them not to make some disaster.)
“KIM BYEONGKWAN AND KIM SEHYOON, I SWEAR I’M GOING TO KILL YOU.”
You yelled from the living room discovering how they had ruined the sketch on which you had assigned to each guest (not many, but still enough not to remember by heart every single one) a place in the tables. The boys’ laughter was heard from the leader’s room but suddenly stopped, almost as if someone had shut them up with a piece of duct tape. Which you would have liked at that moment since you hadn’t slept for three nights - it wasn’t unusual, but the stress was so much - in a row.
After a few moments of silence, Junhee went out with dumb and dumber, pulling them both by the left ear and letting them fall at your feet. Commonly, the leader used to join the gang, but he was aware of how much you and Yuchan were engaging in, between work and preparation, so a little help wouldn’t be denied.
“They’re all yours, kill them as well. We can easily replace these two.” He winked at you, followed by his signature smile that managed to completely dissipate the black shadow that hovered over your mood.
“No, if they promise me that now as good children they’ll get here and do again what they destroyed.”
“Yes, yes, of course!” They screamed in a chorus, almost falling from their kneeling position when they moved in unison to retrieve sheets and pens. You and Junhee held back the laughter by watching them run away, arms full of material, including the guest list, in Gkwan’s room. Those were the little moments when you really breathed since the pressure didn’t crush you. You weren’t nervous in itself, you just had a little doubt that your dress wouldn’t have been ready in time for the wedding.
“Hey.” Junhee sat down next to you, taking from your hands everything that wasn’t necessary at the time, “I think you need a break.”
“Please, yes,” you smiled as you leaned your head against his shoulder, slightly edgy than Yuchan’s but still comfortable. Junhee let you do it, he’d known you for years now, and he loved to be occasionally cuddled by someone other than his members. “I thought of something.”
“What, leader?”
“We tasted the cake samples you had sent us, the problem is one……”
“You like them all.” You finished the sentence for him, feeling his body vibrate because of the laughter that immediately filled the air and snatched a little amused smile to you. “Unfortunately yes… so why don’t you make a normal cake of every type instead of just a big one, and on each one of them, there’s a decoration that remembers something of you two? Your sister also agrees with me.”
“Did you call my sister for this?”
“Of course! She and I are in charge of a lot of things that you don’t know.” His words were full of pride and raising your head, you could see that his smile, as well as that sweet and charismatic look that distinguished him from others, were full of happiness. Yuchan was his brother, you were his sister, how could he not be happy seeing your dream come true?
“You are incredible. I find this idea amazing. What will Yuchan say??”
“Oh, he’ll settle for it! The important thing is that the bride likes it!” he winked and lift from the couch, letting you fall with your face down, running to his room - perhaps just to warn your sister of the news. Breathing in the clean scent of the sofa cushions, you lay down and crossed your arms under your face, closing your eyes to relax for a few moments.
“Can I sing something for you two at the wedding?” Moving your gaze to the side, Donghun was kneeling next to the sofa, his smile was so dazzling that how could you say no to him? Then at such a sweet gesture, so much so that you felt your heart be filled with joy, you could only thank him. “Obviously, you dumb. You can sing anything at my wedding.” He kissed your forehead, when the maknae wasn’t around the boys were more touchy than usual, but it didn’t bother you at all because they always respected the limits imposed by Yuchan, then running out of the living room in a direction unknown to you.
Smiling, you turned around, looking at the ceiling that you had the chance to paint again, trying not to let yourself be overwhelmed by emotion.
Who would have thought that becoming friends with Yuchan would have brought you in the future to have four brothers to whom you had given a piece of your heart?
Step Four: Take a break from time to time with your future husband.
“What?”
Yuchan was deciding whether to tell the truth and die or to lie and die anyway because you could find his lies by looking him in the eye. Yet you were funny, with a mask to cover your face, the towel perfectly wrapped around your head and a cocktail - he didn’t know who had prepared it - in your hand. Lying on the couch watching one of your favorite anime, slightly annoyed that Yuchan had interrupted you on the best moment. “You look beautiful today.”
“I’m always beautiful, and I know you’re laughing mentally, but there’s a face mask waiting for you in our room along with your cocktail.”
“What are we celebrating?” He asked, starting to undress as he reached the room, relieved not to see you too tired again after the endless hours of work and practice hours spent for your next competition. On your shared king-sized bed he found the box with a card next to it that said: -to the future best husband in the world, you have some pimples to fight on that pretty face so wear the mask and join me in this “free stress day.” I love you.-
“PIMPLES? WHERE? DONGHUN HYUNG DIDN’T TELL ME ANYTHING BEFORE!” He screamed, looking in the mirror, your amused laughter bursting out of the living room, and he immediately sensed that you had only chosen to make fun of him.
To tell the truth, he wasn’t even so offended, it was a common thing between the two of you to make little pranks from time to time. It cheered up the moments, made them unique, marked them as “yours.” It was also one of the many reasons why he loved you with all his heart. You could lift his spirit at the right times, giving him the peace he could only find in your presence.
He took the mask and following the steps to perfection found himself with a strange drawing of a panda on his face, which made him smile and come back to you after a few minutes.
“You didn’t answer me, love. What are we celebrating?” He asked again, jumping on the couch at your side and slipping his arm behind your neck. The tiredness of the day began to slide away from his body, at that moment covered only by the shorts of a suit, leaving him more with the desire to do something crazy with you than sleep - as he had planned before returning home.
“Nothing.” You sipped your fantastic cocktail - the recipe found on the internet that fortunately turned out well - making a little “pop” when you popped your lips and let the straw slip away. “We’re so busy and stressed out that if we keep going down this path, we risk not getting to the wedding.”
“Sometimes I’m surprised by your intelligence,” joked your boyfriend, while you pinched him on his side as a “little” revenge without being able - however - to hide the enormous smile that hovered over your face. “Seriously, we’re only a month away. Are you still sure you want to get married to me?”
Bringing two fingers to your chin, you pretended to take the time to think by muttering a few incomprehensible words. He waited in silence, acting -in the same way you did- to be more and more on the verge of a life crisis.
You forcefully shook his hand, bringing it to your chest. “Yuchan… I waited so long to tell you that maybe I had totally fucked up,” the drama in your tone was so fake that it made you almost laugh than being sorry, “I think I understood a long time ago–” you forcefully turned your head sideways, bending it backward and carrying the other hand - the one with the cocktail in your hand - to your forehead in a desperate manner. “THAT I CAN’T – AH– MARRY YOU. I’M IN LOVE WITH ANOTHER – AH – PERSON.” you finished your sentence by choking the words, holding back the laughter that was ready to fill the room for the umpteenth time.
The blond-haired guy - you preferred his natural color, but you knew he would do some crazy thing before the wedding - jumped off the couch, spilling a few drops of his cocktail before putting it on the table.
“HOW COULD YOU? I PROMISED BYEONGKWAN HE’D ORGANIZE MY BACHELOR PARTY. AND NOW… TELL ME– OH MY GOD, I’M DEVASTED!!” he jumped to his knees, holding his head in his hands and screaming his “regret” in the most falsely way. “YOU… YOU BROKE MY HEART!!!!!!” He screamed again, raising his head and on his knees he approached you, clutching your legs in a secure but not excessive grip.
“You broke my heart,” he whispered, looking at you, letting the mask slip from his face the moment you took yours off.  He put his head on your thighs, wrapped in the soft bathrobe that he loved so much to see you wear, staring at you with the bright eyes of those who know.
Of those who know that they have found their soul mate.
Of those who know that despite the difficulties of the past and those that still have to face, has the right person at his side.
“You broke it and stitched it up, adding those pieces that were missing. Those pieces that have your essence.” He whispered, his lips touching the hands that had taken his face between them, trying not to let the emotion overwhelm him. It was difficult at that time, despite having learned over the years to keep them under control. You watched him, your heart impatiently beating at an abnormal rate as if it wanted to jump from your chest, caressing his cheeks and melting, feeling the softness of his lips against your fingers. “Yuchan, keep your beautiful words for our promises.”
“You still haven’t understood, have you?”
With your head, you made a small nod of denial, curious about what he meant by that answer.
“You haven’t understood it,” his voice a whisper and a delicate kiss on the finger where the engagement ring shone with its own light, “that I could spend a lifetime talking about how special you are and not having finished yet when I take my last breath.”
Step Five: Accept that there may be problems but that Yuchan is there, everything else doesn’t matter.
Sehyoon was by your side, in your old bedroom. His hand caressed your shoulder, trying to calm your tense nerves. It was the big day, and everything seemed to be going wrong. “Just deep breath, okay?” he said gently, looking at your figure in the mirror.
Your dress was ready, the back part more extended than the front but short enough to touch your ankles. The red ornaments intertwined on the waist, which climbed slightly up to the chest, stood out and made the whole something explosive but delicate at the same time. The collar of the top wrapped around your neck, on which red lace had been used to create a pendant similar to the details on your waist. You felt perfect, a feeling that was strange, exciting, and frightening at the same time.
The day had started badly, but what was the problem?
You were going to marry the love of your life, everything else was as necessary? No.
The weather prediction that foretold rain? It didn’t matter.
Your beautiful dog - aka best friend - Xander who had almost lost the wedding rings? It didn’t matter.
Your dress arrived late? It didn’t matter, you were wearing it.
Donghun who accidentally dropped some of the photos of you and Yuchan and then had to fix it? It didn’t matter.
Your future husband was waiting for you, and you were about to say yes. You were about to become his wife, even though you already were in your heart.
A gentle knock made you snap back and his voice, that voice so sweet that every morning was used to wake you up singing something, resounded from behind the wooden door making you smile. The agitation totally vanished your only desire to be able to hide in his arms.
“Hyung, are you there?”
“Yes, is something wrong?”
“I just wanted to know if my beautiful bride is okay.”
Sehyoon looked at you and went to the door, just opening it and going out so he could give you some privacy without the groom seeing the dress. You also approached the door, resting your hand against it, almost sensing that he was doing the same.
“How did your promises come out?” The emotion evident in your voice, a detail that made the smile on Yuchan’s face even wider. He could feel his cheeks starting to hurt, but it was an endurable pain compared to the happiness he was feeling. “Do you want to hear them?”
“Doesn’t it bring bad luck?”
“Love, that’s the dress. But if you want, I’ll just tell you the beginning, so we can make things a little spicy and challenge fate.”
“You’re mean, you know that now my curiosity is eating me…”
He cleared his voice, stroking his lower lip with the tip of his tongue.
“Today I am here, in front of my best friend, to make promises to her. First of all, I promise to continue to allow her to be herself at all times. You see, this woman is the strongest, independent but at the same time fragile person you will ever know. She hardly trusts people - don’t blame her - but when she does, she gives you the world.” He stopped as your hands began to tremble, feeling the love he was instilling in those words. Love you had felt on your skin for almost four years, and that was as intense as the first day. “When she then trusts you, you will see that she never stops showing you her true essence. Behold, I promise to protect that precious and special essence that makes you the woman you are. Because your scars, your falls, your victories, every single moment carved into your heart have made you who you are. The woman I desire by my side in this long, exhausting but beautiful journey called life.”
“Yuchan…”
“Tell me, love.”
“I know I don’t tell you this often,” you bowed your head backward, fanning your hand on your face trying to push back the tears and don’t ruin the makeup, “but I will never stop thanking you for exchanging our phones that day.”
“And why would you do that, love of my life?”
“Because it led me here. It led me to you.”
Step Six: There was no sixth step, but you are unique so screw that magazine article.
“To all the guests at our wedding. I want to thank you for making that day extraordinary for my husband and me. I’m sorry for the sudden storm, but I’m sure some of you had fun dancing in the rain with me!
I just want to say a few words. Never stop dreaming.
I’m not just talking about love. Never stop trying to achieve what you dream of. It can be a person who loves you, your personal accomplishment, an adoptive child, anything.
It’s because of my strength and that I never stopped dreaming that I have a beautiful life - albeit with ups and downs -, an incredible husband and a very extended family, including four idiots who are reading this thanksgiving.
Thanks to you all, our day has been unforgettable. I wish all of you to have one of your own. You deserve it.”
“Do you like it?” You asked your sleepy husband as the taxi continued to travel the nightly streets of Verona, Yuchan’s wedding present. He had spent days recreating a honeymoon in perfect Letters to Juliet style just to make you happy. He grunted, trying to open his eyes but giving up shortly after and hiding his face against your shoulder, clutching at you like a little koala.
“I’ll take that as a yes, husband.”
“I like you, wife. I like you so much that I decided to spend my life with you,” he whispered against the light fabric of your blouse, knowing that he had made you smile.
A smile that told a story.
Of two switched mobile phones.
Of a friendship born out of nothing.
Of two people who had decided to give themselves to each other.
Of a love full of happiness.
Now and forever.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yuchan excitedly made his way to dance class. He had only been a couple times so far, but he really enjoyed it. The students that were teaching the dances seemed really cool to him, he looked at them with admiration from afar, he really aspired to be like them. There was Byeongkwan who always went by BK, and Sehyoon who sometimes would be called Sehni for short.
Yuchan had found himself thinking about BK a lot, he tried to convince himself he didn’t have a crush on him, but he would end up daydreaming about the moments shared during classes.
Yuchan entered the room and greeted them happily. He set down his things and turned around to see BK stood smiling at him. Yuchan was taken by surprise.
“I’m so glad you are here,” BK said before giving Yuchan a hug. Yuchan could hear his heart going so fast that he was afraid BK would be able to feel it beating.
“Thanks for coming Yuchan!” Sehni said waving as he set up the computer.
“Think you’ll enjoy class today” BK said giving Yuchan a tap on the shoulder.
“I always do BK” Yuchan replied happily. Together they finished moving the chairs in the room.
“That’s why you’re my favourite” BK said doing a finger gun. Yuchan felt slightly overwhelmed with happiness he wasn’t quite sure what to do, but tried so desperately to act cool.
Yuchan’s best friend Donghun jumped on his back to greet him.
“Alright kids, be careful!” Junhee said as he entered. Junhee was the leader of the dance club, and tended to call everyone his kids.
“I was beginning to think I was in a dream,” Yuchan said to Donghun as he set down his things.
“What do you mean?” Donghun asked, studying his best friends face carefully.
“Something happened, right?” he asked after a few seconds. Yuchan simply nodded, he could see the cogs in Donghun’s head working.
“I promise I’ll tell you later” Yuchan said, doing a pinkie promise with Donghun.
A few more people had arrived and the room was clear and ready for dancing.
During warm up Yuchan and Donghun stuck together, helping each other when it came to stretching.
Class begun and as usual Yuchan was completely focused, but also having fun. Whenever there was a break, Yuchan and Donghun would chat about the dance and anyone could see the happiness that radiated off Yuchan.
By the end of class, Junhee wanted to film the kids that had learnt the dance, and everyone backed out except Yuchan. He felt nervous, he only ever danced in his room, at least last week Donghun joined him. Donghun could tell how much Yuchan liked this one so wanted to watch him.
Yuchan tried to prepare himself, he wasn’t nervous about the camera, more that BK and Sehni, especially BK would be watching him, he just wanted to do their dance well.
“You can do it Yuchan” Sehni said with an encouraging smile.
BK then approached Yuchan. “One of us can dance it with you if you want to?” he asked softly. Yuchan was determined to do this, and before he knew it, “I really appreciate it BK but I can do it.” he said. BK gave him another tap on the shoulder.
“Don’t worry and just have fun” BK said. The sparkle in BK’s eyes every time he smiled at Yuchan made Yuchan want to rip his heart out and give it to him.
“Ready?” Sehni asked. Yuchan nodded. With that the music played and Yuchan performed the dance with all his heart. His eyes would meet BK’s at times, and it filled him so much to see the proud and happy expression on his face.
Yuchan finished the dance, the applause from the others filled the room. He felt he did well, but really craved to hear what BK thought. It was really then Yuchan realised he had fallen for BK. His thoughts raced with what BK was thinking and what he would say.
The class finished and Junhee had an announcement “We’re having a social at Sehni’s house in an hour if anyone wants to come, we’ll be eating and having a few drinks” Yuchan jumped onto Donghun who was already next to him.
Donghun looked at his best friend knowing what was coming. Yuchan then pouted at him, giving him this look begging Donghun to go with him.
“Only if you tell me what happened today,” Donghun replied to Yuchan’s pleading eyes. Yuchan was suddenly radiant once again.
“We’ll be there!” Yuchan said. Taking a last look at BK as they waved goodbye, before grabbing his best friends arm and racing out of the room with him.
On the way home, Yuchan told Donghun everything. Not just that BK said that he was his favourite, but that Yuchan had completely fallen in love with him. Yuchan was talking nonstop, he was barely giving himself time to breathe as they raced home to get ready, half worried what his bestie might say.
“Yuchan,” Donghun said grabbing his arm and stopping him. “Breathe!! It’s really cute how much you like BK but you’re going to pass out before we get to the social if you carry on like this.” Donghun said. Yuchan nodded.
“It’s ok? You don’t think it’s stupid? You don’t think I’m mad? I mean, I know you already know about me, but I’m panicking because it’s my first time really liking someone like this!” Yuchan told Donghun.
“Of course it’s ok! It’s not stupid, and you’re definitely not mad! I’m here to help you and support you. Don’t worry about anything, no matter what I’m here for you” Donghun comforted Yuchan this way. He was always so good at knowing what to say.
“Thank you Donghun”
“anytime! Now let’s hurry up and get ready, we don’t want to be late!” with that, Donghun grabbed Yuchan’s arm and carried on the speed walk back to their flat.
As soon as they got in they started getting ready, Donghun was ready in 30 seconds, he didn’t really care about what he looked like but Yuchan was still having a crisis about what to wear. Donghun helped Yuchan pick a top, and they raced back out with a couple drinks in their hands over to Sehyoon’s place.
“I really hope we see someone we know from class so we know we aren’t lost” Yuchan said.
“Don’t jinx it Chan!” Donghun said looking slightly concerned that they were indeed heading somewhere else.
It was getting closer and closer to the hour and Yuchan and Donghun felt completely lost. They thought they were nearby but had not seen anybody.
“Yuchan? Donghun?” Yuchan and Donghun turned to see BK behind them.
“You look lost,” BK said with a smile slowly forming. “Come on, follow me” so Yuchan and Donghun followed BK to Sehni’s house. At least they were on the right track but Yuchan felt for sure they would have missed the street they were supposed to go down if BK hadn’t saved the day.
They settled into Sehni’s house, greeting him and thanking him for welcoming them into his place. Into the living room and they find Junhee sat in the corner of the sofa, he happily greets BK, Donghun and Yuchan and welcomed them to sit anywhere. Before Yuchan knew it he was sitting on the sofa next to BK looking across to Donghun on the beanbag. How had this happened?
He kept rubbing his hands, not sure what to do.
“Ah you brought drinks! I’ll take them in the kitchen,” Junhee says spotting the drinks that Yuchan and Donghun brought.
“I’ll help” Donghun said, both of them picking up the drinks and heading to the kitchen, leaving Yuchan and BK sat alone on the sofa.
Yuchan’s mind was a mess once again. How on earth had he ended up in such a situation? What was he supposed to do? He was worrying so much, he finally turned to look at BK who looked at him a little puzzled.
“You said something to me didn’t you?” Yuchan asked, feeling his heart constantly picking up speed like it could already burst through his chest.
BK smiled softly. “I said, good thing I rescued you from getting lost” BK repeated. Yuchan instantly nodded.
“Yes it is, thank you again.” Yuchan said.
“Your welcome. By the way, about class today,” Yuchan swore he felt his heart stop. He was positive that his face was pale, his mind going at 100 miles an hour about what the end of BK’s sentence might be.
“I wanted to tell you but you were gone before I could say anything.” Yuchan was hanging on every word, it wasn’t until he made eye contact with BK once again though.
“You did such an amazing job!” BK must have sensed the relief from Yuchan.
“Did you think I would say something bad?” BK asked with a hint of sadness in his eyes. Yuchan shook his head immediately, not being able to stand it.
“No, I just really wanted to hear from you how I did” Yuchan told him. BK smiled sweetly at him and Yuchan felt like he was about to lose his mind. He kept telling himself to get it together, but everything BK did was so cute to Yuchan.
“Well, you did great, you should be proud of yourself.” BK said. Then he suddenly moved closer to Yuchan, “Don’t tell Sehni and Junhee I told you, but we’re putting you on the dance team” BK said softly, almost a whisper which killed Yuchan off completely, his heart and his mind going crazy.
“I promise I won’t tell. Thank you so much BK” Yuchan said with all his heart. BK simply smiled at him again.
BK got up to wonder to the kitchen and Donghun came back in with Sehni. They all chatted and once food arrived, the five of them chatted over dinner and a few drinks.
Yuchan was drunk by the end of the night. He rarely ever drank, but he considered how he went from crushing on someone to completely falling in love with them, and the events of the day that really seemed almost dream like to him.
Donghun had a few drinks but he must have caught onto Yuchan, and made sure he’d be ok to look after him and take him home, they got the taxi back, and Donghun made sure that Yuchan was safely crashed in his bed before heading off to bed.
Donghun was ready to look after Yuchan. He was ready to her about what had happened while he was with BK, Donghun knew it must have been a big deal for Yuchan to end up getting drunk.
Yuchan came strolling into the kitchen like nothing had happened. Donghun stood there in shock.
“You’re ok? How do you feel?” Donghun asked him.
“I feel great.” Yuchan replied.
“How are you not hungover?” Donghun asked.
“That only applies if I go overboard, I didn’t drink that much even though I ended up in a state.” Yuchan replied.
“What happened then Chan?” Donghun asked him. Yuchan explained what had happened. Yuchan told his best friend everything about it.
Donghun watched his best friend telling him about his conversation with BK. He saw the way his eyes lit up and the way he expressed how he felt. Donghun could very clearly see just how much Yuchan liked BK. He remembered after the first class on the walk home how Yuchan seemed to crush on him, but Yuchan had really fallen for BK now. He had to help his best friend any way he could.
It crossed Donghun’s mind that Yuchan rarely ever saw BK outside of dance club. He gave himself a mission to change that, he was sure he could get some other help too.
{4 days later}
“Yuchan I swear to god, get your ass out of bed and dressed now! We’ll be late to class!” Donghun shouted through Yuchan’s bed room door, he’d go in and drag him out but Yuchan locked his door.
“I told you, I’m sick!” Yuchan shouted back.
“You aren’t sick! You think I’ve been your best friend for 8 years and I can’t tell when you are lying? I know it’s been a rough few days but you can’t miss class.” Donghun said a bit more gently. “Plus we have dance tonight, and you’ll get to see BK”
“I’m too embarrassed to see BK!” Yuchan shouted back.
“Yuchan, you have nothing to be embarrassed about!” Donghun told him
“How can you say that? I literally just blurted out to him that I like him and then ran away, what must he think of me?” Yuchan asked
Donghun sighed. He was getting a bit frustrated at Yuchan.
“I was there, and you’re making it out to be worse that it was! I’m telling you nothing bad will happen! BK is super sweet and kind, he isn’t just going to ditch you because you said you like him!” Donghun said. When he finally heard the door unlock he charged into the room and tackled Yuchan. He held him in a headlock.
“Even if he doesn’t feel the same way, he will be really nice about it because that’s just how BK is. He’ll still want to be your friend. You’ll never find out if you don’t go! I’ll be there anyway as always!” Donghun told Yuchan as he ruffled his hair.
“OK! OK! I’m sorry! I’ll get ready now!” Yuchan said. It was maybe the quickest he had ever got ready, with Donghun giving him a bagel to eat on the way to class.
Half way through the day, after lunch, Donghun and Yuchan split up. As Yuchan works in the library, he reflects on what his best friend said to him this morning, repeating in his head the events of the day before, how he looked BK straight in the eyes and told him he liked him.
He couldn’t concentrate at all. He sat wondering what he was going to do. In a way he was glad that BK knew but he also felt so panicked about the whole thing. Time passed so fast, and soon enough it was time for dance club. He headed there, his mind and heart racing, wondering if BK would even look at him, worrying if BK would treat him different.
He arrived early, and peeped into the dance room. He could see BK practising. Yuchan wondered what to do. If Donghun was here, he’d tell him to just go in already. He indeed imagined his best friend was right here, took a deep breath and opened the door.
BK turned immediately, and smiled softly at Yuchan.
“You’re early” He said pleasantly surprised. Yuchan nodded. He went to set his things down and turned around to BK stood there with his arms open.
“You owe me a hug from yesterday” BK told Yuchan. Indeed, Yuchan accepted, they’d already made it a rule they had to hug once when they saw each other, before Yuchan had said anything.
“I’m sorry about yesterday” Yuchan said while they still had their arms wrapped around each other, knowing he wouldn’t be able to talk about it looking at him anyway. BK pulled away and placed his hands on Yuchan’s shoulders.
“You’ve nothing to be sorry about. I was just, surprised, in the best way.” BK said. He could read the confusion on Yuchan’s face and smiled softly at him.
“We got on so well, and the more I saw you and got to know you, I found I liked you too, even though we still have many days to spend together” neither could hold back the big smiles on their faces. Both of them radiant and glowing. Yuchan was this close to pinching himself when Junhee came in. He took a moment to look at them both just stood in each other’s arms and smiled.
“You two look cute together” Junhee said. Yuchan had thought about it for a little while, how BK was only a couple years older than him and they were both the same height.
“We’ll walk back together after class” BK said giving Yuchan another hug.
Sehni and Donghun come in, Sehni jumped on the both of them, Donghun really tried not to make a fuss but he steals his best friend away to congratulate him.
“See now imagine if I hadn’t gotten you out of bed today” Donghun said smirking.
“Yes, I know, you were right!” BK came over and rested his head on Yuchan’s shoulder, “Donghun is always right, let’s accept that Channie”
“It is true that Donghun is always right Kwannie; I accept it”
“I won’t let you forget that” Donghun said.
“I know you won’t” Yuchan replied.
“Anyway this is a closed practice for us lot only, and by practice, we’re just going to have a whole load of fun” Junhee says.
Neither Yuchan or BK could be happier, they both felt happiest right now knowing that they like each other and wanted to be together, and that they had loving supportive friends too.

“Is it still happening?”
Your doctor was surprised when you were sitting in her office. The triplets were with Baekhyun who was standing just beside your chair. On his chest and back he had Jun and Juna and Junhee was in the basket carrier, for once sleeping peacefully.
You nodded, trying not to feel ashamed. It wasn’t your fault that you were overproducing milk. “It seems like it doesn’t have a proper schedule. After I breastfeed or pump it starts leaking again.”
Your doctor nodded seriously, frowning. “Did you release breast milk when the babies cry? Or perhaps after an orgasm?”
Her question made you beetroot red in the face and you quickly looked down on your connected hands , suddenly feeling hot and embarrassed.
You doctor let out a little chuckle, mumbling a “cute” when you felt Baekhyun’s comforting hand on your shoulder. To your utter horror, he replied: “She releases milk at any time of the day but during sex she was complaining about feeling the pressure in her breasts. I helped her out with it so that we could carry on,” he informed, not ashamed at all.
It made you remember the time when he was shy to ask whether you two could have sex during your pregnancy. And now he said this. A typical  upgrade of a parent. You lose all sense boundaries. You did the deed and now you have kids. As simple as that.
Your eyes widened. “Well, yes, that’s true. I felt pressure during eh, sex, and I knew there would be a release so…”
“That is totally natural, nothing to be embarrassed about,” reassured you the doctor kindly. “It’s only normal for the father to try the breast milk, even more so during sexual intercourse.” She paused for a moment. “So, this is what we are gonna do - we will try a block feeding technique. You will have to empty your breasts every morning, and then try feeding your little ones. If Jun is still struggling with refluxes, this should help. He is very small but if he feeds well and correctly, I’m sure he will be just fine.”
You nodded, still feeling worried. Jun was doing well but sometimes the milk wouldn’t sit well with him which would cause the reflux.
“The first dosage of the milk consists of lactose, the fat comes quite later on during the feeding process. You are feeding three mouths, so naturally there are gaps in between and each baby can get a different intake.”
“So my wife can still breastfeed, right?” asked Baekhyun, his hand caressing your shoulder gently. You enjoyed the touch; it reminded you that you were in this together.
“Yes, of course. This technique should not be done longer than five days, however, so make sure to check for any improvements, alright?” When you nodded, she said: “I’ll examine your breasts, now, if you’ll please move to the bed and remove your top and bra.”
Ah, how much was this uncomfortable but you got used to it completely. Everyone present in the room knew your breasts very well. It almost seemed like they knew them better than you did.
“You can also try to start using formula,” suggested gently the doctor as you took off your shirt and unclasped your bra. You were sitting on the bed in front of her, the colder air in the room creating goosebumps. “There is nothing wrong with that.”
“I know,” you murmured, shivering at the air hitting your warm skin.
“Oh, dear, you lost quite some weight,” she said when she took a better look. “Aren’t we thinking too much about the babies and too little about our mummy, hm?” she asked in a chastising tone but with a motherly smile.
You stole a glance at Baekhyun who was caressing Jun’s head, playing with the thin baby hair, while giving you a thoughtful look.

“Thank you for coming with us today,” you told Baekhyun once you finally made it home. Triplets fell asleep during the transfer, so you were trying to eat late lunch before they would wake up.
“Sweetheart,” murmured Baekhyun with a frown and he stepped closer to you, stopping you from slurping the warm soup he heated up. “What do you mean? Of course I’d come. I’m your husband.”
You shrugged, not looking him in the eye. “I know but still… I guess your job is important-“
“No, it isn’t important. It isn’t more important than you are,” he murmured gently and caressed your cheek, expecting you to look at him but you didn’t. “What’s wrong? Why wouldn’t you look at me?”
Slowly, you dragged your eyes up to meet his down-turned ones, soft and gentle. “Just a lot in my head’s all. Our parents will be arriving in a few days so I need to clean up.”
The fact that you were getting anxious because of many things happening at the same time made you not want to talk about it. Taking care of the babies, welcoming your family, making a comfortable home for them while they were there - it was a little too much.
“I’ll do that, okay? You can start the laundry but I don’t want you to stress about this, am I clear?” His voice wasn’t stern but it was strict enough for you to nod obediently, preferring the idea of Baekhyun doing all the work while you could rest a little bit.
“Good,” he smiled, satisfied, “and now give me a kiss.”
You managed to smile as you strained your neck, kissing him over the bar table. He hummed in appreciation, prolonging the precious moment.
“Now eat,” he ordered teasingly and you laughed breathily when you sat down, your tummy rumbling with hunger.
You were eating in peaceful silence, the clinking of cutlery the only noise in the apartment. The day was barely half-way done but you felt tiredness creeping up your limbs; the more you ate, the sleepier you became.
When you and Baekhyun finished, you stood up, leaving the dishes on the table and walked over to him, taking his arm in your hands and gently pulling on it. “Let’s have a little nap together, I’m tired.”
Baekhyun observed you with amusement. “Of course. I’ll just clean up and follow you.”
You pouted and shook your head, widening your eyes at him as you dragged him out of the kitchen and straight into your bedroom. He laughed as he let you, and when you reached the bed you slipped under the covers, the AC having cooled down the apartment into the perfect cuddling temperature. Baekhyun followed you and once the both of you made yourselves comfortable, you found your way to him, your head resting on his chest while he tucked your head under his chin.
“Sleep, sweetheart,” he cooed into your hair. “You’ve had a long day already.”
You hummed and completely melted at the way he rubbed your back in slow, dragging motions. His scent and slow heartbeat finally made you lose conscious, dreamland welcoming you with open arms.

“Look at these outfits!” Sukyeong pushed her phone into your face excitedly and you tried to not show your discomfort too obviously. You frowned with a pout as you observed a gorgeous summer dress on a model, the slit of the skirt revealing her long legs. “You’d look stunning in it!”
You sighed and reached for your cup of green tea. You were sitting in a posh tea house where one needed a reservation in order to be able to get in. Sukyeong always had your back and she promised to pay. Hence you didn’t bother looking at the price tag that went over 30.000won per one serving “You know I’d look horrible.”
She shook her head resolutely but her eyes were trained on the screen as her finger was eagerly scrolling through an endless Instagram feed with beautiful women. “You can pull off any look.”
Biting your lip, you nodded, feeling your eyes burn up with frustrating tears. Sukyeong was a great friend. But she was never a mother and had never been through a pregnancy. And it showed.
“You lost a lot of weight,” she finally looked up at you and put her phone away when she spotted your red eyes. “Since the last time I saw you- do you even eat?”
Not wanting to talk, you averted your gaze to the surroundings, noting how the tea room was peaceful. There were lots of issues within you that you refused to address, and none of them was about having triplets. Everything had to do with you.
“Oh, dear, I’m sorry I wasn’t there for you the past couple of weeks,” she told you, reaching for your hand.
“No, no, you have your own life. I barely had time to think, I was so busy.”
“I feel like a lot has happened during that time,” she murmured with worry, observing your pale cheeks. Sukyeong knew you for quite a while. She knew you as a determined and happy woman, very independent. Now she thought that she saw someone who really needed someone. “Is everything okay with you and Baek?”
“It’s great!” you replied quickly.
“What happened?” she asked with even more worry and this time your tears grew like sprouts, escaping your eyes. “Shh, if you don’t want to talk about it-“
“There is so much going on and at the same time…” you shrugged, not sure how to express yourself, “...nothing is happening at all.”
Sukyeong gave you some time to collect your thoughts for which you were grateful. As much as she could be a little too excited, she knew when to shut up and listen.
“A couple of weeks ago Junho appeared at our doorstep in the morning, he came with a sweater that didn’t belong to me, and Baekhyun didn’t take it too well. We had a fight. Since then, yeah,” you sighed, tapping at your wet cheeks, “it’s all weird.”
Sukyeong was silently looking at the smoothness of the table, at the tea pots filled with fresh green tea.
“It’s fine, nothing worrisome I guess,” you  added, not wanting to sound like the party pooper.
She murmured your name, and looked at you with something that looked like guilt in her eyes. “I need to tell you something…”
“Yeah? What is it?” you asked nonchalantly.
She sighed, closing her eyes for a second before she had to face your obliviousness. “It’s me who sent Junho to your house.”
“What!” you gasped so loudly some people turned to look at you, and Sukyeong quickly brought her chair closer to you, seeking a little privacy from the prying eyes.
“I gave him the sweater and told him to visit you! But my intentions were…” she trailed off, looking like a kid caught with a cookie.
“What the hell? What were your intentions?”
Oh boy, you looked pissed. Your eyes were burning up with anger.
“I wanted Baekhyun to meet him and… and… well, you know, bring some fire into your relationship-“
“Jesus Christ, Sukyeong!” you groaned, mad at her but still unable to fight the furious blush at her words. “That’s ridiculous! Me and Baek are married in case you forgot,” you added in a loud whisper. “It’s not like he just knocked me up and left!”
“I know, I know, but he was always MIA and I didn’t want him to neglect my best friend! You’re left alone with three kids!”
“What’s that have to do with making Baekhyun jealous? We had a huge fight and our relationship has been a little angsty since then.” Well, from your point of view at least. Baekhyun acted like all was fine but you couldn’t tell whether he really acted or he was actually that clueless about the underlying issues you both had. Let alone, the fight was nasty and you still had a lot on your mind to tell him but refrained from speaking up. You didn't even finish the talk after the huge fight like he said he wanted to do.
“Just so you know, you’re way too lenient about him and his darn professor job. You’ve got three babies for Christ’s sake.”
“But we need money! I’m not working and he is the only source of income we have. We live in that darn upscale apartment but at what cost? It’s hard to keep up with that and with three babies that need a nappy change almost every second hour of the day.”
“I understand it’s hard but Baekhyun does not work hard enough for you.”
Your nose prickled in an instant because she hit the right spot. You promptly looked away, wanting to avoid her fiery gaze.
“Tell me I’m wrong.”
Your silence told Sukyeong more than enough. She sighed and crossed her legs. “What was the fight about? You said after Junho appeared you had a fight.”
After several seconds of hesitation you told her. The highlight, of course, was Baekhyun’s harsh words about your jealousy when in fact it was all pregnancy issues at the time.
“No way he said that,” she mumbled in astonishment, her eyes looking somewhere far in the distance. “He dared to twist something like that?”
You could only shrug again. “It’s already resolved. We talked it out, he apologized and I’m not planning to keep grudges against him. I can’t fight with him, Sukyeonga. If I do, it feels like I’m going against everything that is me. He is part of me.”
Sukyeong could only sigh; both in affection and slight frustration. She knew how much of a strong relationship you and Baekhyun shared, but as your close friend she was worried. As much as she trusted Baekhyun and considered him a close friend as well, he was still a man.
“You need to be stronger than that,” she told you finally with a gentle tone as she held your hand. “I’m not implying anything more, just that you should always know your worth. Even when you are head over heels for each other.”
You sighed, though a little frustratingly. “I understand what you are trying to say, Sukyeonga. I really do…”
“You need to find a hobby or a job. I know you can’t do much with triplets needing your care and even sitters are pricey-“
“I’m not leaving my kids with a sitter!”
“-so you need to find work that you could do from home.”
Another sigh left your lips, your body completely deflating. “I’m already looking around for possible jobs but yeah… I’m tied down for a bit, at least until the munchkins are a little older and can start the kindergarten.”
Sukyeong nodded in understanding. “Whatever it will be like in the future, I'll support you. And make sure to show Baekhyun you’re not tied down to him.”

The time for Baekhyun’s graduation ceremony came very fast. It was a given when every day became identical with the previous one. However, the anxiety you’d been feeling due to your family arriving was just rising by each day and you didn’t like the uncomfortable pressure it left you within your chest. With crying babies, and a lot to plan for their grandparents, you felt a little suffocated. Baekhyun, even though being home a lot more just as he promised, was not that much of a consolation. You had anxiety and you didn’t even realize it.
“I’m going to go pick them up at Seoul station,” told you Baekhyun when the time came. He had his phone and wallet prepared and he was walking over to you, seated in the living room where you were feeding Jun. Gradually, you were changing their feeding habits, mixing in some formula for the babies that were growing like mushrooms after rain.
You felt your eyes burn up with tears. For whatever reason. “Okay, update me when you’re with them.”
He hummed and leaned over you, his hand resting behind you on the backrest, wafting the faint mix of his perfume and baby detergent your way. “We’ll be back with you soon.”
You finally looked up when you felt him puckering his lips for an expecting kiss. He saw the way your eyes glistened and he moved away slightly.
“Babe, are you crying? What’s wrong?”
You shook your head, frustration rising. “I’m good. I’ll be good by the time you’ll come home. I’m just-“ you stopped abruptly, shaking your head. “I’m fine there is no need to overthink this.”
“Shh, sweetheart, you’re blabbering right now,” he sat down next to you, bringing his free hand up to your cheek. “Calm down.”
You squeezed your eyes shut and you unintentionally squeezed Jun as well. He let out a little cough and you quickly eased up the hold, not wanting him to get sick.
“Give me Jun and tell me what’s wrong,” suggested Baekhyun with worried eyes. He reached out for the baby only for it to whine when he tried to disattach his little mouth from your nipple. “Junnie, let mummy go for a bit.”
You kept crying, tears creating small waterfalls on your cheeks. Letting your head drop back on the backrest of the sofa, you felt Jun finally disattach, his crying growing with every second he spent without his milk.
Baekhyun tried to shush him while his other hand brought your shirt up to cover your chest. “It’s okay, it’s okay.”
“I’m so nervous and I don’t even know why,” you finally said, the wailing growing more and more irritating , causing small ringing in your ears. “I feel like too much is happening at the same time and I don’t know if I can welcome all of them here while at the same time taking care of the babies!”
Baekhyun was looking at you as he maneuvered Jun into a proper position, his head on his shoulder, his hand gently tapping the crying baby on his back. It was important to recognize when the baby was just greedy and when they really needed to feed. He was aware that you had been sitting with him for a while. “We are in this together, okay? Your priority is always the kids. I’ll take care of the rest- I thought we talked about this?”
“I know! But the house will be so full and busy and overwhelming and I just don’t want them to judge me as a mother and the way I take care of our kids and maybe they won’t like where they’ll sleep-“
“Did you already forget where we come from?” asked Baekhyun seriously and with that your crying ceased. When Baekhyun noticed, he added: “Our parents are anything but judgemental of the city life we live here. If you think they’ll judge the fact that they can sleep on a comfortable bed instead of the floor, then I don’t know if you grew up in the same village like me.”
You looked at him with red, puffy eyes. Jun was whimpering but soon a good burp followed and it made you and Baekhyun a little relieved. No reflux and a good burp. The perfect baby. “I’m sorry I’m just…” your lip trembled again, because you would never forget where you came from. What you and Baekhyun had now was so special, you forgot how a simple life was back home.
“You’re overwhelmed, I understand,” he told you, the gentleness back in his voice now. He reached out with his other hand for your thigh and squeezed it while he supported Jun’s butt with the other one. “I promise I’ll take care of everything. You do you, you do your motherly job and we will be all here to help you. They’ll most probably steal the munchkins away from us anyway,” he laughed softly.
You nodded, sniffing. “You’re right.” I hope they do, you added in your head but you hated yourself immediately for it. You desperately  wanted alone time but admitting it out loud would make you feel like a terrible mother. “You should go, honey, let them not wait for you.”
He nodded and caressed Jun a little longer before pressing a kiss to his temple and handing him back to you. “Kiss,” he demanded when you accepted the baby, and you smiled tiredly. You pressed your lips to his smooth cheek and he gave you a boyish smile.
And so, just like that the time passed with Baekhyun’s promises kept. You were relieved to hug your parents and always happy to see Baekhyun’s carefree mother and father.
When you were all at the venue, the huge hall full of older and younger people, you couldn’t help the excitement that was boiling in the pit of your tummy, mixed with anxiety. Baekhyun had to leave the apartment earlier to prepare, and thanks to your parents and in-laws you could make it safely to the busy event.

Baekhyun had to leave the apartment earlier to prepare, and thanks to your parents and in-laws you could make it safely to the busy event.
You managed to survive the ceremony with babies either looking around with curious stares or eventually falling asleep. There was only one moment when Junhee felt like scrunching up her face, letting you know she was not happy. A whimper left her and when you felt some people turning their heads you were fast to take her in your arms. Her small hands immediately tangled up in your hair because as you reached down it fell over your shoulder.
You shushed her quietly while she made sure to let you know you would have to work harder for her to shut up. So as you bounced gently on your feet to lull her into inactivity, you caught eyes with Baekhyun who was smiling at the sight of you from afar. He was seated there, on the stage, with other masters and doctoral students. They weren’t that many altogether, but they all still heard you nonetheless.
Reciprocating the smile while feeling like you had an intimate moment with your husband, while Junhee was pulling on your hair, Baekhyun chuckled and looked back at the dean doing his closing speech, paying attention.
You sighed, realizing your elevated heart beat thanks to him. Baekhyun’s golden band on his finger shone as his hands were resting on his thighs. Your own band was, as always, comfortably sitting on your fourth finger, that same hand patting Junhee on her small bum gently.
Being at this stage with the munchkins, they were growing to like nonsense talking. You always let them converse away at home, but Junhee really felt like speaking her mind about the dean’s speech.
Gradually, more people paid attention to you rather than to the dean. You tried to shush her quickly, exchanging looks with your mother sitting on the edge seat of the row. She had an endearing smile on her face so it managed to calm you down.
Being with talkative triplets, well in this case just one out of three, came with attention.
“Baby girl, be quiet, hm?” you whispered, puckering your lips against her temple, still bouncing on your heels. “Pay attention to daddy,” you prompted but fruitlessly. “He is right there, aha-“ you turned to point your finger where Baekhyun was seated, not too far away.
Junhee pushed her fingers into her mouth as she blabbered before taking the same hand out of her mouth and smacking you with it on your cheek. Great.
“Junhee, look, daddy,” you shushed in her ear and once again pointed with your finger at your husband. You had his full attention now given how almost everyone could hear the baby talk.
Baekhyun waved cutely, smiling widely, his eyes small crescents. He sent her air kisses and you noticed Junhee watching him intently.
“D-d-d-d…” she kept murmuring and you giggled. Just then she let out a huge, screechy squeal, making you flinch away from the loudness.
“Shhh,” you tried but the dean stopped talking, looking your way now. You felt your heart drop at the attention and you took a few steps back, signaling to your mum that you’ll be outside with her so you wouldn’t disturb anymore.
“What a lively baby in the audience tonight!” pointed the dean, making everyone laugh. You managed to let out an uneasy laugh, bowing to everyone in apologies. “Is it a he or she?” He asked into the microphone and by now your heart was beating with adrenaline.
“Eh…”
“It’s a she, sir.”
Baekhyun looked proud when he spoke up from his seat, his eyes steadily set on you and your daughter.
“Very well, Mr Byun. We should invite her for speeches next time,” joked the dean and once again, everyone laughed.
You smiled, though you were beetroot red in your face. Junhee clapped cheerfully as if she understood, prompting everyone to laugh again.
“Junhee, calm down, baby,” you tried but to no avail. Eventually, you motioned to Baekhyun that you’ll be out and when you made sure the rest of the triplets were still sleeping, you slowly exited the hall; the ceremony would be ending any minute anyway.
After pacing for a couple of minutes outside in the shadow, you talked to Junhee, fueling her interest in talking as much as you could, now that you wouldn't disturb anyone. It was then that a woman in a beautiful, flowing dress approached you, taking off her dark specs before talking to you.
“Excuse me.” You turned around to her, smiling politely. Junhee went quiet at the intrusion. “Are you perhaps Byun Baekhyun’s wife?”
You nodded, a little unsurely. “Yes.”
“Nice to meet you! I knew I saw you somewhere and with the baby that looks a little like him I knew I was right,” she smiled widely at you. “I’m his colleague, I teach sports ethics and diplomacy. Jung Jaina.”
You nodded, her foreign name not processing in your mind. “Ah, nice to meet you.”
Why was Baekhyun always working with such pretty women? They looked so confident, put-together. Or maybe it was just your self-confidence that was so low.
“You’re so beautiful in real life, I can totally see where Baekhyun is coming from,” she added, her eyes sparkling. Her comment was kind, but it still left you insecure. “And this little one too.” She reached over and grabbed Junhee’s reddened cheek, pulling on it gently.
Junhee pouted big time before she pushed her tongue out on the lady in front of her. At that moment, you wanted to laugh so badly, but you tried to keep your face straight.
“She is too young, still,” commented Jaina as if it wasn’t awkward at all. You were nodding when, thankfully, your parents approached you, the hall filling out with people, waiting for the graduates to come out.
“Ah, here you are, daughter-in-law,” smiled Baekhyun’s father gently. “Let me handle her now, you worked enough,” he rasped and reached out for Junhee who was enjoying the attention.
“Very nice family, indeed,” commented Jaina as he watched you handing Junhee to her grandfather. “As you know, Baekhyun will go to Japan in September,” she started and you turned to her politely, letting her know you were paying attention. “It’s a great opportunity for him to grow. He has a huge potential. Our previous dean was young. I could imagine Baekhyun as a young dean too, if he’d work hard enough.”
“He just started. It’s way too soon to think he would become a dean, isn’t it?” you replied, smiling but not liking the direction of the conversation. Baekhyun becoming a dean would make him even busier.
“He has a lot of talents. Leadership is one of them and it’s the most important one. If he does well in Japan, which I’m sure he will, we will try to propose him the opportunity. He would have to do lots of research and teach more classes to get experience, but I have no doubts he is one of the coolest professors we have had in years. Plus, the students love him.”
“He is a likeable man,” you admitted reluctantly.
“You’re lucky,” she added with a strained smile just when you felt a pair of hands around your waist, the man in question finally appearing.
He kissed your neck, making your eyes go wide before he stood next to you and bowed to Jaina. “Miss.”
She nodded with acknowledgment. “You have a beautiful family, Baekhyun.”
“Oh yes, indeed,” he smiled cheekily, squeezing your waist.
Jaina observed the two of you a little longer. “I shall take my leave now. Congratulations, Baekhyun. See you next week.” She put on her specs and walked away, greeting people in her way.
“You met Jaina?” Baekhyun spoke up before you’d return to your family. They were too preoccupied with triplets who were now all awake.
You nodded, turning to him. His hand caressed your back. “She seems nice.”
“She is the boss,” Baekhyun chuckled, shrugging. He moved his head closer, whispering into your ear: “You looked so cute with Junhee in there, mummy.” His breath tickled you and you smiled gently. He looked at your face and stole a small kiss. “My beautiful wife.” His eyes traveled quickly over your dress, liking the way it looked on you.
“Congratulations to my smart hubby,” you played along and you circled your arms around his neck. “Your wifey is very proud of you.” You stood to kiss his cheek and Baekhyun let you. His eyes were sparkling at the sight of you. “Let’s go, triplets have something to say too.”
He laughed and took your hand, following you. He was welcomed by his parents and yours. The atmosphere was cheerful and you felt relieved that nothing bad went down during the ceremony.
Everyone was taking pictures together, first Baekhyun alone with flowers and the majestic main building in the background, then you joined him, just the couple alone. Baekhyun tickled your sides, making you squirm and burst out into laughter while he watched you with a wide smile. He knew your parents didn't know how to work smartphones well, and so the sound of the shutter kept going off and off and off, catching every second of the banter. Your babies, each held by a grandparent, were watching you with big eyes, almost judgmentally scrunching up their faces. They were jealous when you and Baekhyn had a good time without them. Eventually, Baekhyun hugged you to his chest, his hands resting against your stomach, creating a lovely picture of the two of you.
Of course it wouldn't be a family picture without your little munchkins. You took them in your arms before they could start a rally, Baekhuyn holding Juna and Junhee while you took your only son. As they were growing, it became harder to balance two babies in his arms, but Baekhyun would never give it up unless it was completely impossible to hold them.
You loved seeing your whole family together. But you loved it the most when Baekhyun was there, too.

Both of you giggled at the same time when your hand tried to tickle his stomach and his fingers teasingly caressed your hip. You squirmed, hiding your face in his neck as you felt his breathy laugh on yours.
“Shh, don’t want to wake our parents, hm?” he hummed with a huge, boyish smile on his face but his fingers were relentless.
“Baekhyun!” you hissed breathlessly and tried to shimmy away from him but he was stronger. As soon as you managed to move an inch, he brought you back to him, his palm smoothening the skin, gently inching higher on your side, successfully leaving goosebumps in its wake. You pressed your face into his neck to hide the redness.
“I stopped now,” he murmured, a handsome timbre. “Want to leave your hiding space now?”
After a little hesitation, you leaned away from his neck and met his soft eyes. “Don’t tickle anymore.”
“I won’t, promise,” he smiled when his eye caught your pout. “But you tickled too.”
“To defend myself!”
“Then you promise too,” pouted Baekhyun as he rested his head on the pillow, facing you.
You were quick to scurry to him and he chuckled. “Okay, I won’t tickle you either. Promise,” you murmured into his clothed chest.
A hum came in a reply and you felt his head move, looking down at the top of your head. “And now seal it with a kiss.”
You smiled to yourself, letting your hand rub his chest as you looked up and strained your neck to kiss his puckering lips. A loud smack resonated through the quiet bedroom and you felt your heart skip a beat, hoping Baekhyun’s parents who were sleeping in the living room didn’t hear it.
“Mmm, one more,” you demanded and this time Baekhyun captured your lower lip, engaging you in a proper, romantic kiss that had your toes tingle. His hand came to cup your cheek and the both of you shifted, the bed sheets rustling. He hovered over you while slowly playing with your soft pillows, making sure to use minimum tongue as none of you wanted a heated session now out of all times.
When he let go with a gentle smooch, he only moved away an inch, deciding to stay a little longer to smile at you. “You’re so pretty, my little lady.”
The unexpected words surprised you and a furious blush creeped in your cheeks, bringing sudden warmth into your body. “Ah, what are you saying.”
“The truth,” he replied calmly and pressed a final kiss to your forehead before he moved away and lied down next to you.
You sighed and once again scooted closer to him, wrapping your arm around his middle. Baekhyun caressed your hand and proceeded to wrap you up in his arms as well. “I’ll miss you when you’re gone.”
“Oh baby, I’ll miss you too. And our munchkins,” he murmured and you pecked his cheek. “And these kisses.”
You smiled widely and kissed him again.
“But baby?” he asked, his voice raspy. You perked up, prompting him to go on. “Promise me you’ll keep close touch? And no surprises.”
Your eyebrows went shooting upwards at his weird demand. “We are always in close touch, honey. And whatever you mean with no surprises?”
He was observing you for a moment, thinking over how to speak his mind, his eyes flickering from your eyes to your nose and lips before looking back up to your expecting orbs. “I meant that… be careful. You’ll be home alone and I just don’t want uninvited guests.”
“You mean Junho?”
Baekhyun trailed his fingertips over your back. “Yeah,” he breathed, warily expecting your reaction. The last time you talked about Lee Junho you had a huge fight.
“I’m not in touch with him. Why would I be with him, Baekhyun?”
“He came uninvited last time,” he pointed out.
“That wasn’t my fault.”
“No, it wasn’t your fault, but I’m just saying that if it occurs again, I don’t want you to let him in is all.”
This time you observed your husband, his calm and collected expression an opposite to your gradually igniting insides. You felt like this was unfair towards you. Again.
“I'm not trying to cage you in-“
“Are all those beautiful female colleagues going with you to Japan as well? Will somehow Jiyoung appear too?” you asked in a colder tone and Baekhyun realized that you were building up your walls again.
“Yes, one of them is,” he told you honestly. His fingers have stopped caressing your skin, now frozen just between your shoulder blades.
“Okay, well then -“ you felt a painful lump in your throat forming at the fact that he didn’t even bother denying they weren’t beautiful- “make sure you don’t have uninvited guests in your hotel room,” you deadpanned. “You are a taken man after all.”
You scurried away, his hand falling on the space you created between the two of you. Baekhyun blinked in confusion and propped himself up on his elbow, looking at your back facing him. “Baby, what is wrong now? I only told you because I’m worried.”
“And am I not allowed to be worried? To let my handsome, charming husband who always needs attention, go on a one week long trip?”
His hand found its way to your hip when you felt his front pressed to your back. “Yet that husband wants only one woman’s attention.”
“It’s not gonna work,” you muttered stubbornly, trying to suppress the need to submit to his touches. “If you think the first thing I’d do is let another man - whom I don’t even know properly - enter our place without you knowing than I don’t know what we are doing,” you told him honestly, your gaze intently set in the curtains that allowed you to see the distant lights of other high rise buildings. Since you had the babies, you didn’t bother pulling the blackouts as you never got the proper rest anyway. Had you had blackouts you’d want to stay in bed all the time.
Baekhyun sighed but he still bunched up your shirt so he could accommodate his hand under it. “I just didn’t like how he came here suddenly and with a pathetic reasoning. If he does it again-“
“But he won’t-“
“If he does it again, I don’t want you to let him in if you’re by yourself with the little ones,” he finished more sternly, gradually disliking your attitude. You knew he was getting into the “I’m older” position.
You pursed your lips; you, on the other hand, didn’t like his attitude and his request.
“Hm?” Baekhyun gently squeezed your hip, urging you to acknowledge his words. “Answer me, sweetheart.”
“Alright,” you mumbled reluctantly.
He was quiet for a moment, closely inspecting your side profile. “You know I don’t mean bad. We don’t know who he is and whether he is even trustable. What if he did something to you?” Baekhyun had his own point that he wasn’t willing to let up on. He was a man and he knew what a man who wants a woman looked like. You wouldn’t understand him, but he knew what he was doing and he didn’t feel comfortable with the thought of you being near him. Obviously Lee Junho didn’t give two damns that you were happily married; therefore very much taken.
“Don’t be mad,” he sighed after a while when you still wouldn’t look at him. He brought his face closer to yours. “I don’t like us going to sleep with unresolved feelings, baby.”
“Me neither,” you muttered, closing your eyes when you felt his nose on your cheek.
“Then talk to me,” he rasped into your ear as his hand wandered under your shirt, igniting your insides with passion. “Talk to oppa.”
You sighed and moved to lay on your back, Baekhyun’s hand slipping and brushing your mound. You felt the thrill curse through you at the sensation. “I won’t let him come in. I don’t think he would  even visit anymore - but okay, I won’t do anything that you’d say no to,” you started and shivered when his thumb ran under your breast. He was watching you intently almost making you think he was looking for reactions from his sneaky actions. “But I will ask you to make a definite line between you and your colleagues. You have me and three kids. I don’t want you to flirt or even acknowledge their advances on you. You’re the professor who is hot and all the ladies want but is the most forbidden fruit in the department,” you said seriously. As you talked, Baekhyun’s smile grew.
“They know my situation, baby, there is no need for you to worry. Like, none at all. I always show them pictures of our munchkins and of you. You’re literally the background of my screen.”
You knew all of it of course. His lock screen was a selfie of the two of you smiling with your sleeping triplets after you signed the marriage papers, both of you dressed up. And his home screen picture was, to your dismay, you lying down with one leg prompted on the wall and the other spread to the other side with a very much pregnant bump revealed as the shirt was bunched up, ready for Baekhyun to apply some cream against the stretch marks. You were smiling at him with glistening red cheeks and you looked incredibly happy. That picture always surprised you; you had to admit that happiness really made everyone more beautiful and you weren’t an exception.
“I don’t care,” you whispered, closing your eyes when his palm dared to take a gentle hold of your mound, the way both of your bodies shifted closer once again making the bed sheets rustle in the quiet room exciting. “I don’t want any of that,” your mouth fell open with a shaky breath, Baekhyun’s face coming to your neck where he gave you a wet kiss.
“Okay, as you say, my princess,” he breathed, his hand now massaging your mound sensually.
Unconsciously you moved towards him, trying to make you more exposed to his wandering hand, your chest widening. He nibbled at the skin under your ear, his hand still working as if making a bread dough.
“I don’t want you to be upset with me when I mean well,” he whispered in your ear, shifting closer to you until you felt him pressing to the outside of your thigh. “I don’t want you to misunderstand my intentions, baby,” he breathed shakily when you squirmed against him. You turned your head, a low moan leaving your mouth when you seeked his lips.
“I know, sweetheart,” you replied when his soft lips hovered above yours. “I know you mean well.” He hummed in reply and kissed you passionately, bringing out another small moan out of you. He traced the outline of your lower lip with his tongue, while his hand kept abusing your mound and nipple. He separated for the slightest moments, moving his head to the other direction before diving in again, pushing his tongue in as if it always belonged there. His hand traveled lower over your rib cage until it lay on your hip. He pushed it between the mattress, taking a hold of your bum, giving it a squeeze. Your own hands were messing up his hair before you dragged them over his chest and tummy, teasing the naked skin between his pants and t-shirt. Baekhyun shivered when you proceeded to abuse the inside of his pants.
“Sweetheart,” he breathed shakily when he separated with a delicious smack. “Not now.”
You were a little dizzy from the hotness of the room, your husband looking so alluring you couldn’t help yourself when you whispered: “Can you keep quiet?”
“Sweet-“
“Can you?” you pressed challengingly when you felt his own hand seeking an entrance into your panties. To prove your point, you wanted to move your hand lower but didn’t have to; you squealed quietly when you felt his tip right up. Baekhyun had to be in the mood for a while.
Baekhyun giggled at the sight of you, his face hiding in your neck to keep silent. “You dare to be innocent after what you’ve been doing just now?” he murmured and clicked his tongue. “Or after making three babies?”
You pinked, biting your lip to suppress an embarrassed laugh. “Well, to me it seems like you are refusing to answer me,” you told him mischievously as you slowly, gently pressed your palm against his length and Baekhyun had to close his eyes, his heart skipping wildly at your touches. “I’d love to-“
“Then that’s enough,” you murmured as you tilted your chin upwards, pressing your lips together. Baekhyun hummed and you felt his palm against your womanhood.
Upon feeling you up, Baekhyun abruptly disconnected your lips. “Shit, you’re soaking wet, baby,” he breathed shakily and you squirmed under him, enjoying how he was warm and just so ready in your palm. There was a particular prominent vein that you made sure to outline with your finger and Baekhyun was fast to become defenseless.
“It hurts,” you told him with your lips turned downwards, pretending to be hurt. “You need to take care of it.”
“God, where is this all coming from?”
You didn’t know yourself. Maybe you grew to enjoy the thrill of having to be quiet but be up to no good with him in your bedroom. You grew to look forward to what he would do if you tested him a little bit. You found yourself liking it when he was a little rough, a little out of his usual role.
“How about we both help each other out?” he whispered when you didn’t answer, his face close. “Like that one time,” he went on and separated your wet lips, slipping in his middle finger. Your breath hitched in your throat. “When you came to Seoul with me for the first time,” he darted out his tongue, licking at the corner of your lips.
At the mention of that one time, you almost combusted. It was the first time you got intimate with Baekhyun. He managed to persuade your parents to let him come with you when he was attending his university. They trusted him with you, though he couldn't leave without a special talk with your father. Nonetheless, it was a very, very special trip for the both of you.
“Let’s pretend it’s our first time then,” you suggested in a quiet, though a little trembly voice. “Touch me like the first time.”
If you could see properly, you’d witness Baekhyun’s pupils dilating, a flush growing in his cheeks. When your hand landed on his neck, you felt his erratic pulse and you were over the moon that you had that effect on him.
“You’d like that?” he muttered hotly.“You’d like oppa to finger you like you’re a virgin again?”
“Ah, yes,” you heaved when he added his index finger, sinking it knuckle deep inside. You didn’t waste time in wrapping your fingers around him, your thumb landing on his tip where you felt the precum leaking. You made sure to smudge it around, pressing down the slightest to get that soft, high-pitched moan from Baekhyun. He sounded wonderful.
“You have to keep very, very quiet my little lady,” he murmured. “Since it’s your first time and you’re shy around oppa, I’m sure it won’t be a problem.” He was hinting at your past self. Baekhyun had to practically beg you to moan for him when he touched you the first time. Now he might have to beg for you to shut up.
You nodded and pumped him faster, Baekhyun’s fingers in you momentarily stopping for him to collect himself. He slowly lied down next to you, and you turned to face him. He removed his wet hand and wordlessly grabbed you under your knee before leading it on the top of his hip, spreading your legs. The two fingers were back right away and you let out a small erotic moan, making you squeeze his member a little. Baekhyun groaned quietly, his eyes closed and mouth open. The sight was out of this world and meant only for your eyes. The distant lights from outside illuminated his handsome face, his hair falling over his eyes. You’d brush it away had your hand not been jerking him off.
“Maybe oppa has to be a little more quiet, hm?”you teased breathlessly and let your blunt fingernails scratch ever so gently over the warm, tender skin before you cupped his balls and massaged them to his liking.
Baekhyun scrunched his nose, breathing frantically as he tried to focus on his fingers in you while enjoying your sinful ministrations. “Isn’t my little lady too good at this?”
You giggled quietly but stopped abruptly when he pinched your clit.
“Maybe you did it before?” he wondered aloud.
“Actually, there is this very hot hapkido master in the village,” you played along in a hushed tone and Baekhyun finally opened his eyes with a handsome smile. “He already touched me before you did.”
“So I’m not the first one?”
You dragged your hand higher, pumping him again. You buckled your hips when his thumb circled your clit while progressively adding a third finger, the stretch slightly stinking.
“Unfortunately,” you sighed with fake regret and Baekhyun groaned again, moving to crash your lips with his. He engaged the both of you in a very dirty, fiery kiss while his fingers became harsh and aggressive. You tried to follow your own hands movements but he was kissing the soul out of you. You were sure you’d bruise.
He rolled his hips into your palm and you sped up.
“Then I have to top him,” he said when he separated, breathing into your mouth. “I’ll prove you I’m much better.”
The both of you quickly let go of the old times, and with your experience now you were able to bring Baekhyun to the edge, his manhood twitching with the burning need to release. Before you could reach yours, however, he was fast to take away his hand and pull the covers off of your bodies. In came a strict order: “Suck it off.”
Just when he finished, warm liquid burst from him and you scurried to your knees, leaning over and successfully bringing him into your mouth with a hum.
You were bobbing your head to give him the necessary warmth your mouth could provide while the release was shooting to the back of your throat. You swallowed as fast as you could though your own missed release made you a little frustrated.
When you made sure Baekhyun was all clean, you wanted to look up but he pushed you onto your back, your mouth undoubtedly letting out a squeal that was too loud.
“Shh,” he pressed a finger that was previously in you onto your lips. “You’ve got to be quiet,” he whispered seriously. And just like that, without realizing what he was up to, Baekhyun sank into you, your mouth hanging open and your back arching at the feel.
He sighed and started to thrust harshly while pushing your shirt up to suck on the swell of your breasts, as if trying to suck the milk out through the skin.
“B-Baek-Baekhyunnn,” you wailed into his ear and brought your hand to your mouth, covering it to keep it down. You were swimming in ecstasy. Your shirt was plastered to your back and your panties were basically ruined with the way they were soaked over. It was so intimate; the way you were both dressed in your sleepwear yet doing such dirty things while your parents were just outside your bedroom.
He snapped his hips and the good old build-up reappeared, making your eyes roll back. Just a few more aggressive strokes and you were coming along with Baekhyun, his hot seed filling you up. Both of you were heaving like you just ran a marathon and Baekhyun made sure to give you a sweet kiss and a little circle of his hips before he fell next to you, spent.
He turned his head, his chest rising and falling rapidly with a lazy smile. “I had to reward my princess for being such a good girl, treating oppa well.”
You smiled tiredly. “You're the best. And there’s no milk leaking,” you pointed out graciously when you didn’t feel any pressure in your breasts. “I guess the tactic is working.”
“Ah, wonderful. Now you won’t be a walking milk fountain.”
<3
Baekhyun was supposed to leave in a day and he was now out running some last minute errands, leaving you and your mother, who decided to stay at your place longer, alone. You were having breakfast, feeling starved after emptying your breasts. The past days, it seemed like Baekhyun and you were impossible not to touch one another, that wouldn’t eventually lead to something more. Especially now that he would be gone for a week, you found yourself sweaty in his arms more often. Last night wasn’t an exception, though you always had to be careful with being noisy since your mother was in the apartment.
You hummed in delight at her pickled cucumbers that Baekhyun never liked, the crunchy sound loud in the quiet kitchen.
Your mother was observing you and you felt it. You raised your eyebrows at her in question as you plopped another cucumber into your mouth while your other hand reached for the cup with fresh green tea your mother brought from the village.
Maybe she was shocked at how particularly messy you looked today. You didn’t bother tidying your hair and your shirt was wrinkled as it was carelessly tossed away the previous night by Baekhyun’s eager hands. Your bare legs were on full display as you felt unusually warm, your panties a good enough cover.
“Daughter,” your mother decided to break the silence, “are you and Baekhyun perhaps… trying again?”
The cup you were drinking green tea with froze mid way to your mouth. “Huh?”
Her eyes were lower on your neck and you realized with horrification that in the busy tasks of the morning you forgot to cover up your neck that had a few love bites. You weren’t used to having other people around in your house so it didn’t even occur to you to try looking decent.
You pinked deeply as you shuffled on the stool. “N-no, goodness, why would you ask, mum…”
She sighed. “I might have overheard you a few times already-“
“Jesus!” you gasped, not letting her finish, and you wanted to disappear from the surface of the Earth.
“It’s fine, no need to freak out, dear,” she ensured you calmly. “I know how you two get along so well and share a strong chemistry. And you’re both in your prime years anyway. I was just worried because you still have triplets that are infants. It’s hard to be a mother to them while you have another one in your tummy, but I know you know that, daughter.”
Even though the idea made your heart skip a beat, you shook your head resolutely. You were out of that safe three month secure zone now. You could fall pregnant even if you breastfed though the chances weren’t high. And if you admitted it, you and Baekhyun were being anything but careful while getting lost in pleasure. “I know, don’t worry. We can’t afford another baby anyway. It’s already challenging financially as it is.” And you didn't even want to get into the details about having to raise kids. It made you freak out - the thought of having to lead your three munchkins in life, prepare them for the bad times while hopefully shaping them into honest and caring people.
Your mum sighed but you saw her face expression soften. “Make sure you are safe then,” she promoted.
You really wanted the earth to swallow you up. “Mum, please… how do you even know we aren't?”
“You’re not taking the pills and obviously… there is nothing in the trash.”
You gasped again and you stood up, ready to run away. “Okay, that’s it. You checked?! Isn’t it weird for you to give me safety tips after birthing triplets? Besides, we have our own trash bin in the bathroom.”
She chuckled deeply, shaking her head. “I think motherhood really changed you. In a good way. Enjoy your life, as you should. Just safely.”
You deflated and sank down on the chair again. “I am. Though not the way I thought I’d be enjoying my life at this age.”
Your mum clicked her tongue. “You should come to the countryside while Baekhyun’s not here. You could catch up with people your age and you’d have a lot of peace. And you know both me and dad want to be with the little ones, Baekhyun’s parents as well.”
As much as it seemed great, you found it incredibly inconvenient to move around with triplets. You didn’t have a car, so you were pushed to use the public transport to reach your far away village.
“I’d love to…”
“Then come.” You looked down at your unfinished tea. “Come home to us for a bit.”
Pretending to be preoccupied with scrutinizing the tea cup, you only hummed. “I'll think about it.”

( … you see them? that’s choi junhee, or commonly referred as juniel. they’re a twenty-six year old citizen of gaia working towards the time mage class! please welcome them!! content warnings for blood, injury, parental death. )
Once upon a time, there was happy yet poor family living in district 8 despite the fact they didn’t have hardly any money to their name. The family always seem happy and close with each other. They didn’t need for many things, the parents would provide what they could and the children would cherish what they do have. It was only her mother, father and her big brother living in a small cosy crappy home. Junhee use to love watching how her mother could make a lovely meal out of nothing as she got older she would learn more on how to do it too. Those moments in their tiny kitchen made her fell in love with the whole of cooking, her dream was to become a chef. However in this world, dreams tend to be just dreams for people like her.
The most important thing their parents taught them were how to fight against the monsters and it is always stick together no matter what happens. Her father was time mage while her mother was a monk, she went under her father wing when came to learning the art of magic, meanwhile her baby brother learnt everything for their dear old mother. Their parents were pretty impressive in battle, they use their skills to enhance each other making them quite the perfect team against any threats. They seem so unbeatable, it was so inspiring. Sadly, one day they were defeated by something so terrible, the monster stole her brother sight.
The young girl was at home preparing a lovely meal to fill their bellies after their day out, it seem like another lovely day before the skies ripped open and rain down hard on her parade. Big sister will never forget the day when she saw her brother eyes crying blood, it was horrifying. Fear ever really stuck into her heart until that very day, what kind of monster did that to him?! The worst part she was relieved that she wasn’t there to witness the monster ripped her own parents apart or stole her brother sight. Junhee swore she would never let Wooshik out of her sight again, she will do anything she could to protect her little brother from harm maybe one day to find something to restore his sight so he can see again.
Fast forward to the present day, Junhee opened up her little diner in district 8 so she could fill the hungry people. Every warrior need their strength to fight against the horrible creatures of this world. It make her happy to see their faces brighten up as they slurp down the bowl of her ramen noodles. Thankfully, her time magicik helps a lot in the kitchen and serving up the wonderful dishes in quite timely manner. The avalanche members are very much welcome to her diner, she always to help their cause especially her little brother joined them. Junhee wanted to join alongside him but she isn’t that good in a fight so she rather not be hindrance to the team but at least she can fill up their bellies with good and drink.
