birthday shenanigans! went to a Japanese restaurant for lunch with my mom, got some kimchi buns, she got fried chickne skin, and i had my fave chicken katsu curry. It was very good! Deffo want to go back! we found a bakery that sold lavender lemonade and croissants! and i made cupcakes!

Part of this unending royalty arranged marriage au that is 60k and will not fucking end. I swear I added the photography thing before I knew Oliver is super into it.

“You’re not in any of your photos?”

“I already know what I look like,” he said before taking a sip of his coffee. He wasn’t trying to remember his own face that he saw every day in the mirror, he wanted to remember all of the people he’d briefly met and the great things they were doing. The places he’d been. The different communities he’d been a part of, however briefly.

“That’s not the—” Eddie’s face dropped into a glare with fondness softening the edges, and he held out his hand. “Give me your camera.”

Buck pulled it in a little closer. “What? Why?”

Somehow Eddie managed to roll his eyes without actually rolling his eyes. "I'm not going to open it or anything, just give it here."

In immediate hindsight, Buck should've been expecting it when, after giving him the camera, Eddie quickly wound the film and snapped a photo of him. Like son, like father.

"Okay, now—"

“Alright, I get—”

Another.

“Okay, now you’re just wasting film.” He covered the lens with his palm as he pried the camera back out of Eddie’s hands, even as the shutter clicked once more. 

“Pictures of you aren’t a waste.” Eddie stated it so simply and plainly, without even blinking, that it took a second to register. “You’re here too, Buck.”

Before Buck could even begin to think of a response with more eloquence than staring dumbly, Christopher was making his way over and capturing all of Eddie’s attention once more. Agent Williams hung back to quietly talk with Athena, as Eddie pulled his son into his lap so he could lay out his selection of books on the table.

While they were absorbed in debating between three different titles (that Eddie would probably be buying all of anyway), Buck snapped a photo. And then another when Eddie looked up at him with a smile, looking for his input on the very important matter.

Vacation Day 2!! 🦒🐆🐻 ✨

We went to the zoo nearby! Wally didn't know what a zoo was at first but I think he had fun!

I'll admit I was too busy having fun and ✨ avoiding dense crowds✨ to get a lot of pictures,, but! I do have some to share :)

A caterpillar on the bridge! Do you think they're related to Howdy? Perhaps they're on vacation to!

Poppy? No, silly, that's a macaw! Although, maybe she knows Poppy to?

We got a souvenir cup while waiting for lunch. Look how big it is! Wally's enjoying the sun with this cool beverage by his side!

I introduced Wally to one of my favorite gift shop activities. Shiny Colorful Rocks! Together we picked out some lovely stones, Wally chose a blue one to match to his hair!
