Out of curiosity, between Yuta and Shiki, who's stronger? I know it was mentioned in the manga that Yuta has more cursed energy than Satoru and since Shiki's cursed energy reserves are second to his, would that mean that Yuta can beat her? However, it is also true that Shiki doesn't need curse energy to cut lines. Who do you think will win if they were to fight?

There would be a lot of factors involved, and I think intent would also need to be taken into consideration. A fight to the death against someone like Shiki would be very different from a friendly spar, for example.

In zenith, the comparison of cursed energy reserves between the three of them would be: Okkotsu Yuta > Gojo Satoru > Gojo Shiki.

A few other points to note:

1: The amount of cursed energy that a person possesses is not necessarily a direct correlation to strength and skill.

In JJK0, when Okkotsu joins the other students at the very start, all three were freaked out by the overwhelming cursed energy that he was 'leaking' everywhere via Rika. However, Okkotsu wouldn't necessarily have been able to beat any of them in a straight fight sans Rika.

A sorcerer around Nanami's skill level may very well have been able to kill Okkotsu at that point in time.

2: Although it's been stated a few times that Shiki's cursed energy is second only to Gojo Satoru, keep in mind that these rumors were started by the Gojo Clan. And the precise context of it is:

Within the Gojo Clan, Gojo Shiki's cursed energy is second only to Gojo Satoru.

(Chapter 31, Update 33, as said by Shiki herself -more or less in those words at the end of the chapter.)

So, even though it's true that Shiki has a lot of cursed energy, having cursed energy second to Gojo Satoru doesn't necessarily mean that she's ranked #2 in the world in terms of cursed energy (contrary to what the Gojo Clan would like to have people think). Keep in mind that we're still missing Tsukumo, Geto, and other Special Grades on this scale.

... Getting a little off-track here, sorry. But I figured that I'd mention it here since cursed energy was being brought up as a measuring stick of sorts haha.

i had a dream last night that me anf my friends were in ride the cyclone and i was playing monique because some reason noel and monique were two seperate roles in the dream and we had to last minute get someone to play constance and while we were getting ready to go on stage rhe person playing constance was trying to memorize their lines in like 4 minutes during karnaks monologue and for some reason i was wearing red fringe pants under the monique dress instead of fishnets

There is another instruction for Wally that I haven't seen you talk about and I want to know your thoughts! Back in november, before the responses, the secret URLs (such as woxyve) had the word "delete" added to the end (ex: woxyvedelete) implying that they wanted Wally to delete the page. After this most recent update it changed again and now says nodelete meaning that Wally refused to do that task. Thoughts?

i actually wasn't aware of this until a few days ago, when i saw a post pointing it out - i had never gone directly back to those pages. which serves me right! i'm gonna be double checking Everything from now on lmao

but my fucking GOD is it interesting. thus far Wally has been... fairly cooperative. he's had a moment here and there, such as closing the guest book and losing his patience a lil, but he does his best with the rest! especially with requests! so for him to straight up go "lmao nah" when asked to delete something...

characterization-wise, i think it's very telling. as of now, Wally has been commonly portrayed as a bit of a doormat - getting talked over, sitting off to the side, being a bit of a background character - in in-Home media. less so in his whrp/qa/You interactions, but he's still widely agreeable & willing. but him refusing to delete the urls gives major points to him Having A Spine. he's holding his ground. he knows what he's doing. he's not going to let the whrp shut him up. there's a Thought Process / Plan / Purpose being shown here, or at least hinted at. there's a sense of.... Control. of "this is the way we're doing things, this is what i'm saying and you're going to sit down and listen" it's just... such a shift from the Wally we see in his interactions with the neighbors. which again, lends credence to there being a time discrepancy, with whrp Wally being older and more "experienced" while past Wally is still figuring his shit [being alive] out <3

story-wise it adds some Delightful friction. like obviously there's already tension, what with the staff only page, "Let Me In", the mysterious black stuff, the guest book closing, and the whrp/qa being disturbed by it all. but Wally outright refusing to delete things is a Different sort of conflict. it's more... direct. which makes sense! his interactions with the whrp/qa are becoming more personal, too. but it lends to the feeling of a push-pull. as the whrp/qa investigates Wally and starts treating him like the person he is instead of a long-lost character, they're probably gonna clash (a lot) despite the apparent impulse to pursue Welcome Home. currently, Wally doesn't seem big on compromising. if he doesn't know what to do, it looks like he simply Won't or he'll do his own thing and be like "shrug". if he doesn't want to do something, it also looks like he simply Will Not.

of course, there's the strong possibility that the whrp Were Not Serious about it. the 'delete' command might have them testing the waters, poking the bear, etc. but then were they testing to see if Wally is there, or were they testing his level of compliance? both? a secret third option?

and if they Were serious about it... why? what is it about the marked urls that made the whrp go "get that outta here"? and why couldn't they delete it themselves? i mean, obviously they can't delete anything Wally adds, otherwise the extra stuff he's added probably wouldn't be there (unless the impulse / curiosity driving them is too strong to delete anything added). but there's still a why about it. what changed so fundamentally in the site's code - or laws of physics/reality - that made it impossible to alter Wally's additions?

it's just. i feel that there are a lot of implications in such a small interaction. it shows more than one would expect.

i cannot bring myself to care about people like mary kirby and lukas 'i hate lesbians' kristjansson getting the axe at bioware in this wave of layoffs.

what i DO care about, however, is the fact that this comes just over a year since the Bioware QA team unanimously voted to unionize. as of right now, it would seem that they're being heavily impacted by the layoffs. which feels fairly obvious as union busting to me, ngl.

Shards don't really have the same concept of gender that we do, they reproduce asexually through budding so presumably they're all the same sex. Of the shards Glaistig Uaine names, most are gender neutral (the destroyer, the negotiator, the keeper of the dead, etc), and Scion also refers to the administration shard as a Queen once in his interlude. The explanation is simple, she went from being a species with no gender roles, and then she saw femininity on earth and went "hey that's pretty neat I like that" and decided to trans her gender. Absolute girlboss became a queen after countless centuries without a gender, she's an It/She transfem icon.

For the recent addition of the Zenin Clan head AU, I wonder "very expensive present" that she will get for Toji and his to-be bride?

Although, Shiki's first instinct for it would probably be to gift Toji with a Special Grade Cursed Tool -very expensive, very useful, and very stabby. But she probably gets talked out of it by a panicked Jinichi, who manages to get through to her that a weapon is not an appropriate wedding gift.

Is it irony that the people who keep screaming at Ukranian to not be "Russiaphobic" because "not all Russians" have demonized everyone even vaguely related to Israel, let alone just Jewish people existing in the last few months?

I'm well aware there are people still on the left who are actual functioning human beings who have capacity to be self critical and self reflect. But I feel like they are increasingly the baffled minority wondering wtf happened that people in the world of political inclinations meant to be a more humane and kinder approach to humanity have become so blood thirsty and ghoulish.

Encore Exotic Mission Bug Warning

Hopefully this will save anyone else for searching for a switch or something for an hour only to find out you're in a bugged instance (guess how I know!). In the area you spawn into, when you have dropped down the tunnel and jumped over the chasm to a different building/hole in the wall, if there is one of those clear Vex walls there, your instance is bugged and you need to start over. Thankfully it's very close to the start. If you want more of a reference, you can see the location at about 1:26 in Esoterickk's video.
