hi just a heads up, Im not gonna be able to post any of my drawings for 2 weeks starting now to focus on my semester finals. so uhh enjoy a unus annus wip and sum darkiplier sketch for the time being

Dropping my wip here because I am super proud of it so far

Cold ...it's always cold I think to my self as I trudge through the snow I stop in my normal spot a little clearing were  lots of stumps litter the outskirts  remanets of past trees I have cut down   I let out a breath as  i bring my axe towards the biggest tree  cut marks are over the tree  not quite cuting deep enough to make the tree fall I start hacking away befor something catches my eye   a flower? No that can't be I crouch down to get a better look at it. It is a small flower bearly the size of my palm it's light blue and pink and the pedals are furrowed tightly around the middle.I run my finger over the silky flower causing it to unfurl revealing more small blue and pink pedals The inside is cold and wet from snow creeping in through the gaps. I gently pick the flower and stand up as I do so i here someone say my name softly the wind bringing the melancholic and oddly familiar voice to my ears.i immediately turn towards it  expecting to see someone or at least something but instead all I see is the rest of the dark forest and the fastly falling snow.  Don't slam the -door  Saline says as I slam the Door the  fireplace flicker as if welcoming me home. I can do what I want I mutter under my breath as I walk over to the fire place.i throw some of the smaller pieces of wood into the fire.i stare at it for a moment before speaking again  Hay Saline  did you  go out while I was gone ?  Saline laughed bitterly  out in this weather?  She  gets up and leans over the window seal it seems the storm is getting worse she comments as she watches the snow fall angerly

Hey! I have an idea for a animatic/PMV that I'm thinking about trying to turn it into a multiple artist project, but I've never done this b4, or even worked on one, and I was wondering if you had any tips? I love your vids on youtube btw, I've been watching your WKM PMVs for years! Obviously no pressure to answer this, but you were the first person to come to mind when I started thinking about this project, and any words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated! Thank you regardless!

Hi hi!! I love when people come to me and ask about this stuff, it’s very flattering that you thought of me!

The biggest thing about organizing these projects is exactly that - organizing. Have everything written down so that participants can see what needs to be done. What time slots they’d have to pick from, which are and aren’t available, if you have a vision for each part or if it’s up to their interpretation, are you requiring animation or animatic or PMV or a mix (if you find a clear way to word this please let me know lol).

Plus write down all the technical stuff like where to send finished parts, canvas size (or at least the scale), due date, if they should send WIPs, etc.

Since you haven’t participated in a collab like this before, it’s actually easier for you to make sure you get all the information down - just imagine yourself as a participant. What would you want to know in order to participate? What questions would you have for the host? Then be sure to write those down so that your participants won’t have to ask!!

“You’re not still mad about that little misunderstanding with Tonilia, are you? I thought we’d cleared that up, I swear to you it wasn’t what you thought it–” 

“It’s not that, Bryn.” Vekel leaned forward, resting his elbows on the bar and lowering his voice. “It’s– look, you know how Ton is. She’s independent, headstrong, tenacious, which are all things that make her good at what she does. And don’t get me wrong, I love that about her, but at times? It can make things difficult. The traits that can make someone a great thief…they don’t always make someone a great partner.” 

Brynjolf took a bite of his meal, chewing slowly to give himself time to mull over his old friend’s words. He washed the pheasant down with another gulp of ale, then looked Vekel in the eye, a slight smirk pulling at the corners of his mouth. 

“Are you telling me that you don’t think Tonilia’s worth the effort?” he asked.

Vekel let out a huff of breath that was somewhere between a laugh and a sigh. 

“Very clever, Bryn,” he said. “You know damn well I think she is.” He straightened and turned, grabbing a broom that was leaning against the wall behind him. He looked back at Brynjolf and raised a single eyebrow. “I just wonder if you’ve asked yourself the same thing.”

WIP Wednesday Game

It’s WIP Wednesday, time for a little accountability, sharing your work, and getting a kick in the pants.

Very vague pop in and update. I am not dead. I have added a few hundred words to a pre-WKM thing focused on Mark and Celine’s divorce. It is very sad and I feel for Mark in it. That version of him deserves better.

Probably will not see light soon, but. It’s a thing getting work done. As for the revenge thing… I don’t know when that will see light. The rewrites are more intensive than I thought they’d be.

Unpopular opinion: you write the God of Night well when you want to kick him in the face, hands down

So I'm working on a new Soline fic (Celine the Seer from WKM/God of Day from KOllOK, the wonderful ship name is from @zulzinho ✨) and it will, unlike deny your god, feature the God of Night.

And... You know what, I'll just say it: Night is a bastard. Stupid idiot motherfucking Night. Biggest clown in the circus, laughed out of town cowboy God of Night.

I understand why many people worship him, but I refuse to accept it.

In fact, no. I don't really get it.

This man is the worst, if only he were written in character. (I'm trying.)

I want to drown him in a spoonful of hydrochloric acid. (So I think I'm succeeding.)
