Sapporo-Stone Brewing provides updates on their first phase of expansion.
Tumblr media
Press Release
ESCONDIDO, CA ... Two years following the announcement of its acquisition by Sapporo U.S.A., San Diego-based Sapporo-Stone Brewing, unveils the near completion of phase one of its expansion project at its Escondido brewery. The $20 million investment in the Escondido, CA facility is one of two significant investments for growth with $40 million invested in the company’s Richmond, VA operation. These investments will result in the doubling of the company’s capacity to about 700,000 barrels a year across its bi-coastal breweries. The brewing of Sapporo beers in Escondido, CA and Richmond, VA is now underway.
Stone Brewing, Southern California’s largest craft brewery was acquired by Sapporo U.S.A. in 2022. The goal was to transition from an importer to a U.S. brewer, ultimately brewing, selling, and marketing all of Sapporo’s beers for the U.S. market locally. Richmond’s expansion will be unveiled this fall. By late summer, all production of Sapporo beers will have moved from Canada and Asia to the U.S.
Sapporo-Stone Brewing is now a combined team of nearly 850 employees, about 600 of whom are based in San Diego County. In support of its expansion project, the company added 125 jobs locally and another 75 outside of San Diego County. More than 150 team members have been promoted or moved into new or expanded roles since the acquisition.
“Operationally, this acquisition looks a lot like a merger,” stated Zach Keeling, Sapporo-Stone Brewing Interim CEO. “Our two companies are now fully integrated – Innovating, brewing, selling, marketing, and operating as a single, combined business. The Sapporo and Stone Brewing brands will maintain their individual identities, but we are Sapporo-Stone in name, operations, and culture.”
The Escondido expansion project includes additional tanks and packaging lines to increase capacity and efficiency. On the West Coast Sapporo-Stone now operates out of its two Escondido brewing and packaging buildings and a distribution warehouse with offices also in Escondido. It occupies additional warehouse space in San Marcos, CA and Downey, CA. The company operates two Stone Brewing World Bistro & Gardens and five Stone Brewing Tap Rooms. On the East Coast, Sapporo-Stone operates another brewery, an off-site warehouse, and a Stone Brewing Tap Room all in Richmond, VA.
Now the nation’s 12th largest brewery by volume* Sapporo-Stone Brewing aims for a top 10 ranking. Finding growth in the beer market is challenging as craft consolidates and alcohol drinkers explore countless new innovations, but Sapporo-Stone’s craft-meets-import portfolio sets the company apart. In both the Import and Craft categories, Sapporo and Stone are gaining share over the last year. Sapporo is the number one selling Asian beer brand in the U.S., with sales up +13.1%, nearly double the growth of the Import category, +6.7%.** Most of this growth is attributed to its flagship Sapporo Premium. Stone’s best sellers include the Stone Delicious IPA family of beers, Stone IPA and Stone Buenaveza Salt & Lime Lager. These Stone core brands are also growing, up 13.2%.***
At its Escondido Open House event on May 21, 2024, Hiro Kitaoka, Sapporo-Stone Brewing Chairman stated, “Stone Brewing is among the world’s most recognizable and celebrated craft breweries. We admire the team’s innovative spirit, passion, and world-class brewing expertise. We are proud to continue the legacy of Stone and honored to have this full team’s commitment to the Sapporo brand. We are stronger together, and proud to be a growing San Diego business.”
Stone Brewing was among San Diego’s pioneering craft brewers and is credited for bringing national and international attention to San Diego as a thriving craft beer city. In its early years, the team fostered collaboration through the formation of Stone Distributing Company to distribute small craft brands. It curated countless invitational beer festivals, served guest beers on tap, and played a founding role in the San Diego Brewers Guild. Stone Brewing continues to host local craft beer events and festivals and to offer creative craft innovations like its Stone One Batch Dispatch beers alongside its year-round beers available nationwide and in 50+ countries. Locally-brewed Sapporo beers can be enjoyed and purchased at all Stone Brewing locations.

Why Costco is Cheaper than Amazon
Video Source: PolyMatter
"The story of Costco begins decades before the first store launched in 1983 with FedMart, a discount department store for government employees.
FedMart was founded by entrepreneur Sol Price. Jim Sinegal started his career at FedMart and thought of Price as a mentor.
The pair developed and refined the wholesale club strategy together at FedMart, which was one of the first general merchandise retailers to expand into other categories like groceries, gasoline, and prescription drugs.
Sam Walton liked what Price and Sinegal were doing with FedMart in California so much that he opened the first Walmart in Arkansas 1962.
After an investor forced Price out of FedMart, he leaned more heavily into the membership model in 1976 with Price Club.
Price wanted his store to be a wholesale supplier for small businesses, and he opened his first location in an old aircraft hangar that was once used by aviator Howard Hughes.
In 1983, Sinegal and Walton each launched members-only warehouse clubs — Costco and Sam’s Club — that bore striking resemblance to Price Club.
The basic concept across each company was the same: shoppers pay a fee in order to gain access to the bargain pricing. In each case, the business relies on membership fees more than product markups to earn a profit.
Company sales in that first year reached $101 million, plus $1.3 million in membership fees, according to SEC filings.
In the beginning, non-members could shop as long as they paid a 5% surcharge on their purchases. There are still a few ways to shop at Costco without a membership.
Sales at Costco rocketed from zero to $3 billion in less than six years — a first for any company in history, according to the company.
Costco became a publicly traded company in 1985, initially offering shares for $10. Due to several stock splits, one initial Costco share would be six today, worth a total of more than $3,200.
Despite their similarities, Costco, Price Club, and Sam's Club weren't direct competitors, as each had a sizable geographic territory in which to expand.
Price Club was largely in the Southwest, centered in San Diego, while Arkansas-based Sam's Club had the Midwest and Southeast, and Costco took the Northwest, headquartered in the Seattle area.
One way Costco found to keep prices low was to sharply limit the number of different products in its inventory.
Even today, Costco only carries around 4,000 unique products in its assortment — referenced by stock-keeping-unit codes or SKUs — while typical supermarkets carry 30,000 or more.
In 1993, Price Club and Costco joined forces and began operating as PriceCostco with 206 locations and $16 billion in annual sales.
The company dropped the awkward PriceCostco branding in 1997 and reverted to Costco.
A few remaining Price Club locations were rebranded to Costco at this time as well.
In its 20th anniversary year, Costco had 430 warehouses in North America, Asia, and the UK, over 40 million membership cardholders, and generated $42.5 billion in revenue.
That year the company ranked ninth among the world's largest retailers.
US warehouses that year generated an average of $112 million in annual sales, while 11 locations exceeded $200 million.
Costco also opened its fifth Business Center that year, a concept that caters more to small business owners than to household shoppers.
Sinegal retired as CEO on January 1, 2012, handing the leadership to the company's head of merchandising, Craig Jelinek.
Sinegal continued to serve as Company Advisor and Director, ultimately retiring from the Board in 2018.
Jelinek had also previously worked for FedMart, and was one of Costco's early hires in the 1980s, rising to vice president in 2004 and currently CEO.
Jelinek was in charge of opening Costco's sixth location and helped the company expand in Nevada and California. As vice president of merchandising oversaw a range of priorities including e-commerce, foods, and pharmacy.
Costco became the third largest retailer in the world in 2014, a ranking it still holds today behind Walmart and Amazon.
Walmart made more than $600 billion in worldwide retail sales in 2022, followed by Amazon at $343 billion, and Costco at $217 billion, per the National Retail Federation.
Costco turns 40 this year with 852 locations around the world and more than 124 million membership cardholders.
Costco has made more than $235 billion in revenue over the past four quarters. "

Book Review
Opium and Empire: The Lives and Careers of William Jardine and James Matheson
by Richard J. Grace
Imagine some people in a neighboring country, like Mexico for instance, decide that a certain drug, maybe crystal meth or fentanyl, has a potentially giant market in another country like the U.S.A. So they decide to start businesses that manufacture and traffic these drugs. Of course these narcotics are dangerous, wrecking people’s health and causing addiction as well as draining people of their money and landing them in prison; therefore the American government classifies these drugs as illegal, criminalizes their sales and distribution, and labels the businessmen as purveyors of organized crime, drug syndicates, and cartels. But from the Mexican traffickers’ point of view, they aren’t doing anything wrong. They provide work for poor people and make money in a country that isn’t rich. Furthermore, the drug sales provide a steady income whereas other business ventures tend to be less predictable and unstable. Farmers who want to grow produce, like avocados for example, grow some banned substances to keep their finances steady while the market for vegetables fluctuates. This benefits trucking companies too who smuggle drugs in boxes of cucumbers and cilantro across the border, providing work for truck drivers who need to pay rent and feed their families. Of course, a lot of Americans, especially the government and police, think this whole situation is rotten so they fight back hard. Now imagine the Mexican cartels decide to start a war with America to force them into legalizing their drugs so the gangsters south of the border can make even more money than they already do. Eventually they convince the US government to give them the entire city of San Diego so they can have a convenient base for the distribution of their goods. All praise be to Santa Muerte.
This is roughly what happened when the Jardine-Matheson trading company began selling opium on the black market in China at about the same time the Napoleonic Wars began. Richard J. Grace, in his Opium and Empire, tells the story of this nefarious corporation and concludes that they weren’t such bad people and were, in fact, just ordinary businessmen who just happened to do trade in a vice that ruined people’s lives.
You could just as well argue that good things Mexican drug cartels do outweigh the bad. It isn’t fair that dangerous narcotics are illegal in El Norteno and they are really just ordinary gentlemen who provide a service that is in demand anyways. They work hard to earn their money and there’s nothing a red-blooded American capitalist loves more than people who get rich by working hard. Hell, you might even say that the cartels are nothing more than heroes of free market capitalism, letting the invisible hand of the marketplace decide what people buy and sell. Right?
Right?
The story of William Jardine and James Matheson begins in Scotland more innocently than one might expect. Jardine came from a poor farming family and got employed as a surgeon for the East India Company, Great Britain’s colonial trading and shipping monopoly. The younger Matheson came from an upper class family in Edinburgh and eventually went on to work for the East India Company too. He met up with Jardine in India, the two paired up, and went to work as speculators, trading in silk, rice, tea, and, most importantly, opium which they purchased in India and shipped to China.
The kingdom of China at that time was closed to foreigners. They would not allow outsiders to enter their lands for business so they sectioned off a strip of the river bank running along the outskirts of Canton, or what is now known as Guangdong. There they were allowed to build a tiny village of warehouses, factories, and living quarters. Chinese merchants came to the riverfront to do business, buying and selling all commodities except opium which was illegal in China. But Jardine-Matheson insisted on peddling opium since the addiction it caused guaranteed a steady flow of wealth which helped to supplement their more volatile trading goods whose prices fluctuated unpredictably. The Jardine-Matheson company therefore sold opium offshore in international waters to smugglers who brought it onto the mainland. If Jardine-Matheson couldn’t sell opium the legal way, they had no qualms about breaking Chinese laws to make their fortune.
A large portion of this book describes the backgrounds of these two businessmen and the running on their company. It also details how they grew to such prominence as the East India Comany monopoly ended, making room for other companies to enter the competitive colonial markets. Most of this is ordinary business history explaining the methods and functions of Jardine-Matheson. If that is within the scope of your interest, it might be exciting, but actually the writing is often dry and boring. The several passages about finance and banking are especially dull. There is nothing more boring then people talking about money, especially when it gets a bit technical. It is even worse than watching golf on TV.
The story gets more exciting in the run-up to the Opium Wars. After the Chinese government seized and destroyed the entire inventory of opium, Jardine and Matheson pressured the British government to invade China in retaliation and to demand compensation for the lost products. The second Opium War happened when the British colonial government decided to force China to legalize opium for the benefit of British businesses and the extension of British colonial power. Talk about a sense of entitlement. And yes, large numbers of people died over this. Along the way, China gave the mostly uninhabited island of Kowloon, Hong Kong to the British for the sake of allowing them to have a base for business-dealings in the region. So selling illegal drugs on the black market in China was the primary source of finance for building up the British Empire. Maybe in the future, Latin American drug cartels will rule the world.
The end of the book has a long chapter about the lives of Jardine and Matheson after retirement. It isn’t especially interesting. Then, in the epilogue, the author evaluates the Jardine-Matheson company from a moral and historical standpoint. He acknowledges that selling illegal drugs on the black market and starting two wars with China was kind of a crappy thing to do, but he lets them off with a slap on the hand, figuratively speaking, because they were really just a couple of ordinary businessmen who did a lot of good things for their communities back in the British Isles. More importantly, they belonged to some prominent social clubs back home and were considered respectable men by other members of the upper class. Richard Grace goes so far as to say that they were historically important, as if that could even be denied, and their amorality was of little consequence because they were pioneers of free market capitalism. Well, that is actually a weak argument for those of us who are not especially enthusiastic about capitalism to begin with.
And about those Mexican cartels...well they may be harming and endangering a lot of lives, but they are putting people to work and financially enriching their local communities, so it isn’t all that bad, is it? Besides those guys are fun to hang out with wow do they ever throw some fantastic parties and that’s really what’s important. Who cares about all those clucks who buy their drugs on the streets. It’s their own fault they’re losers because they didn’t choose to get a job and work like the rest of us. Right? Yeah right.
I don’t know anything about the author Richard J. Grace, but I can say for sure that we don’t see eye to eye when it comes to values. Opium and Empire tells the story of the Jardine-Matheson company, saying what it needs to say to accomplish that. It is a boring book, however, written by an author with questionable morals. He claims that Jardine and Matheson were not merelya couple of sleazy drug dealers. But just because they hid behind a facade of respectability and a Protestant work ethic, doesn’t mean they weren’t a couple of slimeballs at heart. I don’t think Grace is necessarily immoral, but I get the impression his ethics are in the wrong order. This book does serve a historical purpose, but there has to be an account of this company that is more engaging and a little more balanced. The Chinese perspective on this history is barely even mentioned.
If you visit Hong Kong now, you will find a skyscraper in the center of Kowloon with a unique architectural feature. It is a slender rectangle with its cladding entirely permeated with round windows like portholes. This is the Jardine House, world headquarters of the Jardine-Matheson company which still exists to this day. Because of its unique appearance, the local citizens of Hong Kong have nicknamed it the House of 1000 Assholes. Sometimes I wonder if the people of Hong Kong think back over the times when Chinese peasants became emaciated from lounging in opium dens while their families starved to death because all their income went to feeding their addictions. Maybe that name doesn’t actually indicate how they feel about the Jardine House’s appearance but actually signifies how they feel about all the company’s employees that got rich and powerful by enslaving Chinese people to narcotics. Richard Matheson justified the opium trade by saying he had never seen a Chinaman “beastialized” by opium use. I’m not sure what he meant by “beastialized”, but one thing is certain: while he was running his smuggling business and throwing dinner parties in his mansion, he wasn’t spending time in the opium dens of China, observing how his drug was ruining people’s lives. Just an ordinary businessman? No I don’t think so, but then again take a look at the businessmen of the 21st century. I’m not sure they any better.

POST 2: Brand
Costco Wholesale operates memberships warehouses across the world. Costco's main example of marketing is their use of wholesale warehouses which provide offerings that have value for customers. Costco also mainly has a product orientation as they are more focused on what they can do best. One example of this is the company's use of diversification to get people to shop at Costco because they have more products. The company's first location, opened in 1976 under the Price Club name, was in a converted airplane hangar on Morena Boulevard in San Diego. In 1983, the first Costco warehouse location was opened in Seattle. Since resuming the Costco name in 1997, the company has grown worldwide with total sales in recent fiscal years exceeding $64 billion. Their customers spend an average of $95 a visit, a rate that has been steady over the years. This shows that Costco has a high customer satisfaction. Costco's mission statement is to keep costs down and pass savings onto the members. With the company's low prices, Costco uses the market development strategy as they attract new customers to existing products.

The R&B singer has announced dates for her “Heart on My Sleeve” tour. The 34-date trek kicks off March 31 in Wallingford, Conn. and travels across North America, with stops in New York, Atlanta, Miami, and Los Angeles, wrapping June 1 in Toronto.
The tour comes in support of her latest album Heart on My Sleeve, which was released in May. A deluxe edition is set for release on Feb. 2.
“The deluxe tracks are some of my favorite songs currently so I’m happy to be able to share them with the world,” said Ella. “I get to bring new life to a body of work that is a year old but remains very close to my heart. Likewise with the Heart On My Sleeve Tour. This is the first time I’m getting to perform some of these tracks live. It’s almost like reading your diary aloud in front of an audience, but there’s no better place for me to be vulnerable than in my music and on stage with my fans.”
This will be Ella’s third headlining tour since 2018. She most recently joined Mary J. Blige on her “Good Morning Gorgeous Tour” last fall.
Tickets go on sale Jan. 27 at 10 a.m. local time, with a pre-sale starting Jan. 25. See dates below.

tubicles and valves
every day I wake up
a customer yelled from just outside the warehouse that something in the hallway to the bathroom had scratched him, and thankfully, the new manager, the old manager, the hopeful manager, and the sales lead were all gathered in the entryway, having some sort of meeting, and they moved in unison toward the guy- almost like fighting to be the one to handle the situation. i would have laughed in his face
the funny thing about meetings at my job is that they happen everywhere, out in the open. Even when the corporate people come in- even when it’s somewhat sensitive topics. while i was working with erika, this lady from HR came over and started talking about erika’s “performance issues” just a few steps away from me
someone in a san diego padres hat is coming down
a new hire with full gray hair is heading down to the kitchen
i ate today: granola bar, breakfast burrito (frozen), apple, nuts, shin ramen, mango, latte, shepherd’s pie, vegan ranch salad, frzn chocoalte banana bites.

Covid-19: How Our Business Pivoted
Our business finished 2019 on a high note with much anticipation for the new year. You know that feeling when you sorta feel like nothing can go wrong? Like when you have had so many good days in a row that you forgot what it was like to have a really bad day? Our company, Wonder Event Rentals, operates in the San Diego Wedding & Event Industry specializing in farm table rentals, wedding chair rentals, and lounge furniture rentals. The last couple of years we have experienced a lot of growth and things were trending in the right direction. We were expecting 2020 to be one of our greatest years yet and I know of several other rental companies in San Diego that had similar expectations, but it all changed in March.
Covid-19
The first few months of mask mandates, lockdowns and lack of toilet paper was definitely an adjustment. Quickly we watched the majority of our booked events for the year begin to either cancel or postpone. We had several team members out of work. We watched our sales funnel dry up since people were hesitant to plan future events with so many unknowns. It was easily discouraging and frustrating. All of this happened so quickly and for the first few months and it felt like there was nothing that we could do.
How We Adapted
We have always envisioned that ‘Wonder’ would act as a brand with many different companies under that name. We’ve also wanted to start other businesses in different industries. In June we decided it was time to adjust to our new reality, so we started Wonder Moving Company, providing local moving services throughout San Diego County. Here’s why we decided to do this:
First, we are passionate about business and people so starting another company seems like the logical thing to do.
We wanted to do everything in our power to keep our team members working with a steady flow of available work.
We already had much of the needed start-up equipment: Trucks, dollies, moving blankets, shrink wrap, a warehouse, team members, etc. Considering all of this, our start-up costs were fairly low.
The moving industry is different than the event industry, but there are a lot of similar logistics.
Lastly, I thought what’s the worst that could happen for trying?
Since launching I’ve been pretty surprised at the amount of work that has naturally poured in just by talking about it and it’s been great to feel the support from our community. Our new company may never amount to anything significant, but why not give it a shot?
Building and Maintaining
Our rental company is still up and running and is not going away. Now we are maintaining what was already working, and starting something completely new. It’s been a lot of fun but has also been challenging. Moving other people’s stuff is hard work and I understand why people are willing to pay a company to do it for them.
What’s Next
It has been just about 8 months of living in the everyday normalcy of Covid: Masks, restrictions on gatherings, limited capacity in restaurants, social distancing, shutdowns, and overall regulation. I’m not sure if we will offer moving services forever, but for now we are going to focus on the present. A lot of people have asked me “What are you going to do when you have too much work to handle between events and moving?” Honestly, I can’t wait to have that problem.

Buck-O-Nine - “Pass the Dutchie” Emusic: The Extreme Collection Song released in 1995. Compilation released in 2000. Ska-Punk
Before getting into maybe San Diego’s best ska-punk band and the origins of the song “Pass the Dutchie,” let me provide you with an absurd sentence I read on Wikipedia about one of Buck-O-Nine’s albums, 1997′s Twenty-Eight Teeth:
Twenty-Eight Teeth sold over 200,000 copies, appearing in a top spot on the Billboard HeatSeekers chart at one point, and appearing in the Billboard Top 200 for one week, peaking at No. 190.
You get that? The album sold over two hundred thousand copies and peaked at #190 on the Billboard 200 and was only on the chart for one week. Wanna know how many album-equivalent units the current #1 album in the country, Big Sean’s Detroit 2, sold in the past week? One hundred three thousand. Now I know Twenty-Eight Teeth didn’t move those 200K-plus units in one week, but still, holy shit, dude. Album sales were BOOMING in those pre-p2p days of the late 90s.
Okay, now on to some of Buck-O-Nine’s history, with a few grafs from an archived copy of their website:
Buck-O-Nine formed in a small warehouse in the early part of 1991. Based in San Diego, the band was on the horizon of a change in the music industry. At the time the catch phrase was “Grunge.” The band was eager to take a different path. With their backgrounds in Punk/Metal bands, Reggae bands and 2nd wave Ska bands, Buck-O-Nine had the formula for what was to become a new mutation of sounds. Inspired by the early founders of this new sound, Buck-O-Nine admired the works of Fishbone, Operation Ivy, The Mighty Mighty Bosstones and the Voodoo Glow Skulls.
By the end of 1992 the band had recorded a demo tape, entitled “Buck Naked.” This was sold at local shows around southern California. The songs on the tape were to become half of the songs recorded on their debut album, “Songs in Key of Bree,” released in 1994. While recording Key of Bree, which was to be self-released, the band caught the ear of their recording engineer, who also owned a small San Diego based label called Immune Records. The band licensed the album to Immune for 2 years. In the meantime they started what would become a relentless touring schedule and continued to write new songs.
After a show in San Diego sometime in the early part of 1995, Curtis Casella, the owner of the Boston based label, Taang Records (at the time home to the Mighty Mighty Bosstones) approached the band. Casella, having just moved his label to San Diego was taken by their choice of cover songs and was interested in releasing them on an EP. In the recording session of what was to become, “Barfly,” the band zipped through the 4 cover songs in an hour with plenty of time in the session for more. They quickly called Casella and agreed to record some new originals. This resulted in the 1995 release of “Barfly.”
Barfly ended up being a split of originals and covers and one of those covers was the made-for-live-gigging “Pass the Dutchie,” originally released in 1982 by Musical Youth, who were a reggae band of Jamaican kids. Musical Youth’s version of the song managed to break the top-ten in the U.S. and hit #1 in the UK as well.
The conception of Musical Youth’s “Pass the Dutchie” is actually pretty funny and bears explaining though. The song’s not an original, but is a mix of two other songs, “Gimme the Music” by U Brown, and “Pass the Kouchie” by Mighty Diamonds. Kouchie is a slang term for a marijuana pipe. When Musical Youth recorded “Pass the Dutchie,” they wanted to remove any reference to marijuana, so they replaced the line “how does it feel when you got no herb?” with “how does it feel when you got no food?” and exchanged the word “kouchie” for “dutchie”. Now, I know what you may be thinking: “Dummy, a dutchie is a reference to marijuana...” but it actually wasn’t back then. In keeping along with the “got no food” bit, Musical Youth used the term “dutchie” to refer literally to a Dutch oven or a cooking pot. Their song was about a group of guys passing around a pot of food rather than just...pot. However, since “Pass the Dutchie”’s release, the term “dutchie” has been used to refer to the Dutch Master cigar that one might use to pack a blunt. Funny how all of that worked out, huh?
Buck-O-Nine’s 1995 rendition of “Pass the Dutchie” sees the band taking that classic piece of reggae novelty and turning it into faster ska and then even faster ska-punk. Outside of the intro, this song is just your run-of-the-mill, fun, sort of tongue-in-cheek ska cover that’s just a bit more uptempo than the original. But as the band keeps performing the song, the punk guitar scratchiness enters the fray, and the speed raises considerably, transforming this track, which had been maintaining a nice and steady sway, to a suddenly turbulent jaunt.
This ska-punkified version of “Pass the Dutchie” proved to be so popular that in 1998, the song was re-recorded for an EP by the same name. That re-recording would then feature on the soundtrack for the total box office bomb, Homegrown, which starred John Lithgow, Billy Bob Thornton, and Hank Azaria. In 2000, the online mp3 retailer eMusic would include Buck-O-Nine’s first version of “Pass the Dutchie” on their Extreme Collection compilation, which was deemed the unofficial soundtrack of the 2000 Winter X Games. Coincidentally (or maybe not), some of Buck-O-Nine’s members were snowboard enthusiasts themselves.
Super fun late 90s ska-punk cover of an early 80s reggae classic.
