I recently turned 23, and yes, I’m incredibly miserable about it. I don’t care what anybody says, 23 sounds a whole lot older than 22!

I’ve decided to do a ‘What I Got For My Birthday’ post as I’m nosey and love reading these kind of posts! So here goes, some of the things I got for my 23rd birthday.

As you can see by the image above, my birthday presents seemed to revolve around the colour pink – this wasn’t intentional at all.

Baby Pink Fila Trainers

I’ve loved these chunky style Fila’s for ages but a) couldn’t justify paying £80 and b) there just something wasn’t quite right. Then I found these baby pink ones and fell in love! It’s weird because growing up I was never into pink and now I can’t get enough! These trainers are so comfy and I wear them with basically anything and everything! I’ve nearly worn them everyday since I got them – oops!

Make Up Revolution Bits ‘n’ Bobs

Make Up Revolution is one of my favourite beauty brands, it’s cost effective and great quality – what more could you ask for?! I got some foundation and concealer, which I’d heard great things about – and I’ve not been disappointed! The foundation gives great coverage, the only issue I have is the applicator – I prefer a pump personally.

Make Up Revolution also have loads of eye shadow palettes, including dupes of Urban Decay palettes, although I have all the original palettes I like to get the dupes too for when I’m on-the-go. For £4 they’re an absolute steal!

Real Techniques Make-Up Sponge

I had no idea this even existed until I opened it on my birthday. A Real Techniques Make-Up Sponge with a case!! I’ve always hated packing my foundation sponge in my make-up bag in the fear I get foundation everywhere and mark my make-up bag. This perfectly shaped case is ideal for protecting your other make-up from foundation and is so good for when you’re on-the-go!

Pandora Minnie Mouse Ring

How cute is this ring?! I’m literally obsessed with this ring! I normally don’t go for sparkly jewellery but because of the silver band I love the slight sparkle the jewels give off.

Finally, one of my favourite and most thoughtful presents, my calligraphy print from LEH Prints. I’ll link Lucy’s insta below so you can see some of her work.   Lucy is amazingly talented at doing prints and made me a surprise one so I can use it for a logo and using in images – I love it!
