(Webwhisker is a rounded pale gray cat with large pale purple eyes with a lighter red center. Their whiskers are very jagged and covered in webs in which a spider hangs from called Itsy. decided to make a 'map' of windclan, official family tree style! it helps me organize them visually

family relations under the cut!

some family relations of note in this tree-

- cherrycloud and molethroat are mates; their kits are amberkit, brindlekit, rosekit, patchkit, and olivekit.

- cherrycloud and sparkthistle are sisters, but they have been estranged from each other for quite some time due to "personal differences".

- adderthorn is the mother of marblepaw and twigpaw; their father likely was a cat of another clan. she never particularly cared for them, and marblepaw and twigpaw are polar opposites of one another, so the three really don't interact much.

- webwhisker and shadeflower are siblings, and thick as thieves. silverbelly is their father.

- shadeflower is the mother of sparrowpaw, coalpaw, and spiderpaw. they're a fairly close family. sparrowpaw is training to be a permaqueen just like her mother.

- russetfoot and rockscratch are brothers and similarly close.

- milkpaw and goldenpaw are stoatslink's daughters.

- rainleap and stripedwing are siblings. they do care about each other, but as they went different paths in life (rainleap became an ambitious moor runner with his sights on leadership and stripedwing became a tunneler with very modest dreams) they drifted apart naturally.

- toadpool is shalestar's nephew, and his only surviving kin. shalestar himself had children, but they all died in a tragic accident around the time antstep was adopted by the clan as a kit.

so I decided to download the updated clangen because I saw people playing it and was like y'know what I'll try that again why not. So far:

Webwhisker and Hazelfern became the best mates. They are both dudes and they have many amazing kits.

Half my clan dies to illness

Moonstar refuses to die. He is way too old. Come on.

Tigerclan cannot seem to take care of their cats. Half of Tigerclan is now in Duskclan (my clan).

Shimmersong *murders* Hazelfern, her own clanmate, over Webwhisker.

Webwhisker dies near a fox den (I bet it was Shimmersong)

Shimmersong takes Burrnose as a mate. Shimmersong murdered two other cats in Duskclan for love and is now taking another mate.

Basically, Shimmersong is a pain and I have way too many cats.

Also, Burrnose should watch his back.

A Brother’s Choice| Warriors Cats AU

Webstar (grey-tabby tom): Things are not so simple... Everything has changed...

Wetpelt (white tom): I didn’t think my brother could be so weak!

So I found some old shit about Warriors Cats AU I created Called Cataclysm... in which the clans are coming to an end. Ironic considering what I have heard about the series and how they went to a new area. I haven’t read past more than the original series mostly because I got caught up in the R.A. Salvatore kick, mostly cause the local libraries didn’t have the Warriors Series, and I was poor af.

Any who... Webstar(whisker) is the current leader of the Shadow-clan during a time in which the are numerous things happening (wildfire that destroys the territory, city “clan” cats also affected killing livestock like chickens and such, and the human’s response with a cull and removal of the cats from the area in an attempt to restore the environment). His brother Wetpelt, is more stereotypical kind of Shadow Clan warrior, fiercely believing in Shadow Clans Power. Full story is below if you wanna read.

Webstar, the tabby-grey tom, when he was younger shared is brothers ideals and enthusiasm. However, he realized that it wasn’t how he believed Shadow Clan should be. A source of Fear. He believed his clan could be powerful, not feared but respected for their strength. He kept his opinion silent with Wetpelt but, He was noticed by his predicessor, Clawstar and his Deputy, Raventail. Clawstar wished to test him to see if he would be a quality Deputy for Raventail. A discussion hey both had regularly. Webwhisker was given additional duties, and even granted opportunities to council his leaders and medicine-cats with advice. He was able to speak his mind and his calm, but confident demeanor placed him well int he running.

With Clawstar’s final death, Ravenstar(tail) became the new Leader. Wetpelt was happy but, the two slowly grew apart as Webwhisker realized that his brother’s zealot aggression, to traditional Shadow Clan ideals, was problematic and a liability. This came to a head when Wetpelt attacked a travel kitty pet with kits. Killing the kits by accident as they fled from him (original idea they ran onto the Thunder-path). Ravenstar(tail), gave Webwhisker his final test and allowed him to determine Wetpelt’s punishment. As Ravenstar believed that in order for the clan to redefine himself, they must push this future forward without clouded judgement from relationships (familial, romantic, platonic). Webwhisker, while he couldn’t kill or banish his brother, he offered to force Wetpelt to retire. Ravenstar agreed understanding that he was still soft for his brother. However, with Ravenstar’s death, Webwhisker became the leader and with his accordance of nine lives (and counseling by Clawstar and Ravenstar, two of his grantors) he realized the importance of his choices and belief and ideals.

Upon his return many believed he would give Wetpelt the position of deputy; however he chose Flintclaw surprising everyone and upsetting his brother. With this decision Wetpelt resigned himself bitterly to the Elders den. He still challenges his brother’s decisions from time to time. Often Webstar questions his weakness for allowing him to stay as he teaches the kits of his clans feared and vicious nature. Filling them with (as Webstar believes) the wrong ideals of Shadow Clan’s future with a fixation on the past.

Meadowpatch - A gentle and intelligent she-cat. Insects fascinate Meadowpatch, and she spends her free time trying to study them and learn all she can. Meadowpatch will never inflict pain unless it’s absolutely necessary, she has specialised in the quickest and most merciful hunting techniques possible so her prey won’t suffer, 14/10

Heavybranch - A serious and hard working tom. Heavybranch is determined to help his clanmates as best her can, he often feels wiped out at the end of the day due to the work he does but he still keeps going. Heavybranch is great at organising things, that paired with his strength means he’s often in charge of any building or repairs needed around camp, a job he takes very seriously and tries his best to fulfil, 15/10

Webwhisker - A cautious and thoughtful tom. Webwhisker hates the unknown, he prefers to know everything he can about someone before he gets involved otherwise he might panic. Webwhisker often will spend a lot of time thinking on things and reflecting on them, trying to learn from his experiences, 13/10

Blossompool - A wise and kind she-cat. Blossompool is often the first cat her clanmates turn to when they need help or advice, Blossompool can never turn away a cat in need. She will often voice any concerns she has to her leader without hesitation and will strongly suggest action against any injustice, she’s very persuasive, 15/10

Clans - ShadowClan #2

ShadowClan is the only Clan today that doesn’t follow the traditional deputy model, where the deputy becomes leader when the leader dies. Instead, for the last few leaders, ShadowClan has been a monarchy.

Surprisingly, this change in leadership was actually a direct order from StarClan in relation to a prophecy. Starting with Brindlestar, the leaders of ShadowClan have all been first-born children of the former leader (with the exception of a skipped generation between Whitestar and Tunastar, when Webwhisker passed on leadership).

StarClan knew that Brindlestar would have a descendant that would one day save ShadowClan, but they didn’t know when.  But, they also knew that her bloodline had many troubles in its future.

In order to make sure that cat came into existence one day, StarClan made sure that her bloodline would continue by ordering that only cats directly related to her could be leader from then on.

The deputy role still exists in ShadowClan, but it serves a different purpose. The deputy manages patrols, serves as an adviser, and doles out punishment, but does not become leader when the current leader dies.

Though deputies do not become leader in ShadowClan, ever leader has been deputy for a period of time. Many cats in ShadowClan have forgotten that their leadership functions differently, and resent Tunastar for making his son, Pebblestar, deputy.
