Psalm 10: God’s Response to the Wicked Now. Psalm 10 begins on a rather negative note, “Why, O Lord, do you stand far off? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?” This may seem negative, but it is also a very human reaction. At times, when we face trials and crisis, the Lord does seen to be far off and impersonal. This is especially true when we have to deal with those that reject the Lord. Verses 2 through 11 vividly describe a person who has no thought of the Lord, or his responsibilities to God. “His ways are always prosperous; he is haughty and your laws are far from him; he sneers at all his enemies. He says to himself, ‘Nothing will shake me I’ll always be happy and never have trouble.’ He says to himself, ‘God has forgotten; he covers his face and never sees.’” How many of us know people that reflect that attitude in their lives? When we look at unbelief and the evil actions that come from it, we may wonder why God allows this to happen. Why does He seem to stand off and watch?
Psalm 10: God’s Response to the Wicked Now
Today, it seems like the forces arrayed against the Lord’s people – the Church – are growing stronger. The doomsday prophets see the church in retreat. People challenge the fact that God is involved in the world of man today. “Look at the evil that exists. Look at how unfair things seem to be. Look at the people that seem to be doing just fine that never once thought about God or Jesus Christ.” These statements may be correct. There is a great deal of evil in the world. In fact, considering the nature of the world, it would be surprising if it was otherwise. However, the apparent strength of the opposition to Christ has nothing to do with the reality of God and His authority. What is David’s response to such thoughts? Verse 16 states, “The Lord is King for ever and ever….” Appearances are deceiving. Regardless how the world sees the present order, the Lord is King forever and ever. Simply because people may ignore that truth does not make it less real and true.
Psalm 10: God’s Response to the Wicked Now
One of the reasons why the Lord seems to stand back is His desire that all come to Him, and the Lord will give each person as many chances as possible to accept the offer of salvation. Peter wrote, “But do not forget this one thing, dear friends. With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” God is love, and He does love all people. That is why the offer of salvation is open to all. When we think that God does not seem to care, it may be that he is giving a person another chance to repent. As for us, we know that the Lord is King, and we know that we have an inheritance of eternal life. What can happen to us in this world that will change that? Can it be taken away or destroyed? No. There is nothing in this world that can affect our relationship with the Lord except ourselves. We can reject the offer that has been made; but other than that, our treasure is secure. Yes, as we have to face the day to day problems of life, we may echo the thoughts of David – “Why, O Lord, do you stand far off?” But as we consider the entire picture, we know better.
Psalm 10: God’s Response to the Wicked Now
God doesn’t stand far off. He is right here with us. Yes, we will have to face problems and trials. Yes, we will see injustice and tragedy in the world. God never promised to place us in a vacuum. But as we place our lives in the hands of our Lord, He will strengthen us and guide us to a more Christ-like life. The first verse of Psalm 10 began very negatively, but the last is a message of hope. “You hear, O Lord, the desire of the afflicted; you encourage them, and you listen to their cry, defending the fatherless and the oppressed, in order that man, who is of the earth, may terrify no more.” A final thought concerns verse 6 again. The wicked say, “Nothing will shake me; I’ll always be happy and never have trouble.” We know better. Such people are fooling themselves. Sooner or later, the sharp bite of despair will be felt. The words said with such arrogance in verse 6 are the words of youth and health. Everything in this life will surely pass away. Only the Lord stands forever. Only those that are joined to Him in Jesus Christ can say, “I will never be shaken!” That is a blessing that we need to remember.

Joseph Interprets Two Dreams
1 And it came to pass after these things, that the butler of the king of Egypt and his baker had offended their lord the king of Egypt.
2 And Pharaoh was wroth against two of his officers, against the chief of the butlers, and against the chief of the bakers.
3 And he put them in ward in the house of the captain of the guard, into the prison, the place where Joseph was bound.
4 And the captain of the guard charged Joseph with them, and he served them: and they continued a season in ward.
5 And they dreamed a dream both of them, each man his dream in one night, each man according to the interpretation of his dream, the butler and the baker of the king of Egypt, which were bound in the prison.
6 And Joseph came in unto them in the morning, and looked upon them, and, behold, they were sad.
7 And he asked Pharaoh's officers that were with him in the ward of his lord's house, saying, Wherefore look ye so sadly to day?
8 And they said unto him, We have dreamed a dream, and there is no interpreter of it. And Joseph said unto them, Do not interpretations belong to God? tell me them, I pray you.
9 And the chief butler told his dream to Joseph, and said to him, In my dream, behold, a vine was before me;
10 And in the vine were three branches: and it was as though it budded, and her blossoms shot forth; and the clusters thereof brought forth ripe grapes:
11 And Pharaoh's cup was in my hand: and I took the grapes, and pressed them into Pharaoh's cup, and I gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand.
12 And Joseph said unto him, This is the interpretation of it: The three branches are three days:
13 Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thine head, and restore thee unto thy place: and thou shalt deliver Pharaoh's cup into his hand, after the former manner when thou wast his butler.
14 But think on me when it shall be well with thee, and shew kindness, I pray thee, unto me, and make mention of me unto Pharaoh, and bring me out of this house:
15 For indeed I was stolen away out of the land of the Hebrews: and here also have I done nothing that they should put me into the dungeon.
16 When the chief baker saw that the interpretation was good, he said unto Joseph, I also was in my dream, and, behold, I had three white baskets on my head:
17 And in the uppermost basket there was of all manner of bakemeats for Pharaoh; and the birds did eat them out of the basket upon my head.
18 And Joseph answered and said, This is the interpretation thereof: The three baskets are three days:
19 Yet within three days shall Pharaoh lift up thy head from off thee, and shall hang thee on a tree; and the birds shall eat thy flesh from off thee.
20 And it came to pass the third day, which was Pharaoh's birthday, that he made a feast unto all his servants: and he lifted up the head of the chief butler and of the chief baker among his servants.
21 And he restored the chief butler unto his butlership again; and he gave the cup into Pharaoh's hand:
22 But he hanged the chief baker: as Joseph had interpreted to them.
23 Yet did not the chief butler remember Joseph, but forgat him. — Genesis 40 | King James Version (KJV) The King James Version Bible is in the public domain. FREEDOM FROM THE PAST
We are entering a new season of a fresh start! We are in a divinely appointed time of refreshing and restoring:
"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you. You shall eat in plenty and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, who has dealt wondrously with you; and My people shall never be put to shame" (Joel 2:25-26).
This is a new day in which you may boldly declare, "Old things have passed away!" (see Isaiah 48:6-7).
GOD FORGETS YOUR PAST
Through our repentance, God always makes a way to free us from our past. We take this encouragement to heart -- not letting our past failures keep us from experiencing our future victories!
We remember this vital promise:
"There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death" (Romans 8:1-2 KJV).
The Lord has already lavished us with abundant, extravagant forgiveness and grace to empower us to leave behind:
every single past sin and failure, which includes -- the days of regret,
doubt and fear,
the many missed opportunities and failed relationships,
the seasons of backsliding and passivity,
the detours of the works of the flesh.
As we believe His Word of forgiveness and set our heart to seek the Lord, we will find overwhelming grace and mercies for each day (see Jeremiah 29:12-13).
AFFIRMATIONS:
I never give up.
I ask, seek, and knock (Matthew 7:7) until I understand and implement God’s purpose for my life.
I never give in again to a mindset of guilt and failure (see Hebrews 10:35).
I was created to carry His glory and presence into a lost and dying world.
God has confidence in me as I advance His Kingdom by equipping others in the ascended life in Christ.  (see Deuteronomy 28:13, Matthew 6:33)
I am His choice (see Ephesians 2:10), chosen for "such a time as this" (Esther 4:14).
GOD REDEEMS YOUR WOUNDS
Truly, it was by the stripes of Jesus Christ that we were healed (see Isaiah 53:5).
Even the wounds that we have suffered will become great avenues of healing. Since we are healed from our wounds -- then we receive grace for healing others! We bring Christ's healing and comfort to others in the areas in which we ourselves have been afflicted (see 1 Thessalonians 5:11). This may include wounds from bad preaching and teaching that we have endured over the years that has not helped us understand our Christ identity, therefore, not being equipped for life. As a result we are sure to properly equip today’s generation of Believers.
GOD BRINGS BREAKTHROUGH
God is even now releasing divine favor to us for accomplishing great exploits for His glory. In Psalm 84:11 (NLT), we learn how He lavishes His blessings of grace and glory:
"For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right."
Matthew 7:8 AMP -- "For everyone who keeps on asking receives; and he who keeps on seeking finds; and to him who keeps on knocking, the door will be opened."
Even if you have not had revelation of God's CALLING on your life, do not lose heart! God is saying, "Try again!" It is time to regroup and try again, knowing that failure is never God's plan (see Jeremiah 29:11). You will see doors open that were closed to you previously. God is granting breakthrough.
You experience the overwhelming love and favor of God as you leave the past behind and boldly take hold of your Christ calling and begin bearing fruit that remains for His Kingdom.

Daily Devotionals for September 21st, 2023  Proverbs: God's Wisdom for the Day Devotional Scripture:
Proverbs 25:4-5 (KJV): 4 Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer. 5 Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne shall be established in righteousness. Proverbs 25:4-5 (AMP): 4 Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth (the material for) a vessel for the silversmith (to work up). 5 Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne will be established in righteousness (moral and spiritual rectitude in every area and relation).
Thought for the Day
Removing dross from silver to form it into a precious vessel, is comparable to removing wicked administrators from positions of authority. Before silver can be fashioned into a beautiful vessel, it must be refined. When melted, the "impurities" surface and can be removed. A righteous king's administrators represent him throughout his kingdom. His rule will not be righteous until the wicked are removed. This is what will happen when Jesus returns to rule as the King of kings: the wicked will be removed from the earth and the righteous will remain: "The way of the Lord is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity. The righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth" (Proverbs 10:29-30).
"...Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. But in a great house, there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also wood and earth; and some to honor, and some to dishonor" (2 Timothy 2:19a, 20). God's people are likened to two kinds of vessels: gold and silver "vessels of honor" and wood and clay "vessels of dishonor." Gold and silver vessels are durable and beautiful. Clay vessels chip and shatter; wooden vessels warp in water and burn in fire; neither have the strength of gold and silver. God desires that we have a place among His vessels of honor. "If a man, therefore, purges himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work" (2 Timothy 2:21).
How we respond to life's trials determines what kind of vessel we become. Trials "heat our circumstances" and bring hidden sins to the surface. "For thou, O God, hast proved us: thou hast tried us, as silver is tried" (Psalm 66:10). Each time we choose to obey God and put to death our old nature or resist the devil, a little more of the "dross" is removed, until we come forth as pure as silver or gold.
Following is a portion of Psalm 119. Its author, knowing that God will remove the wicked like dross, cried out to God to help him keep His commandments. He knew that he could not respect God without respecting His Word. May we be as wise: "Hold thou me up, and I shall be safe: and I will have respect unto thy statutes continually. Thou hast trodden down all them that err from thy statutes: for their deceit is falsehood. Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore, I love thy testimonies" (Psalm 119:117-119).
Prayer Devotional for the Day
Dear heavenly Father, thank you for the ongoing work that You are doing in our lives. We do cry out as David did for grace and strength to keep Your commandments. May we always love and respect You and Your Word above all else. We know that when we choose to do this, you will protect us from the enemy and keep us in a place of safety. Lord, cleanse us from every evil thing so that we will become a vessel of honor for Your glory. Purge the "dross" from our lives so that we will shine for You as silver and gold. We ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus. Amen. From: Steven P. I will bless the LORD, who hath given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons. I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved. Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: my flesh also shall rest in hope. For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. - Psalms 16:7-11 KJV
No matter what life throws at us, we don't need to fear or be stressed, because God is in control and always by our side. As true and born-again Christians, we believe in the goodness, grace and mercy of God and we believe in His living, Holy Truth and His promises. We have every reason to love, follow, trust and praise Him. And it's because of this and knowing who He is that we have joy and peace in our hearts, even when there is turmoil around us. And we have faith that God has been there and will continue to be there in the future when we need to make good decisions. When we put Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ first and we follow Him and live according to His Holy Word and Spirit and will, we find that we have true peace. Many times, God doesn't give us what we want for our own well-being and protection. He is our provider and protector as well as our guide. And as our Creator and Heavenly Father, God knows what is best for us even when we don't or feel otherwise. And for all He does, has done and will continue to do, we are eternally grateful. May He continue guide and correct us, so that we continue to grow in Him and not weaken and stray. May we all remain faithful to Him and to this duty and purpose He has called us to. Seek and put your faith and trust in Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ and let Him do the rest. May He humble our hearts and help us focus on following and serving Him daily and helping others with joy and happiness. We lift our voices in praise to Him for His love, mercy, peace, faithfulness and grace. - For EVERYTHING!
It is vital that we remain rooted in Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ through prayer and His Holy Word and Spirit and that we live and walk as a beacon of His light and love and share and spread the Gospel Truth daily, so that the lost souls in this world can come to know Him and be saved. The more we focus on Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ, growing spiritually by building our relationship with Him, leaning on Him and His Holy Word and Spirit, the better off we will be. Thanks to this and our faith in Him, we know that everything will be alright. And we will forever be grateful to Him. As true and born-again Christians, we believe in Him and His Holy Word and we strive daily to walk in His Holy Spirit. We know though our mortal bodies should die, He will raise us up and into new and glorious bodies (The Rapture). We who are truly His and alive at His second coming will never die, and our bodies will be changed in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, and so shall we ever be with Him in His Kingdom of Heaven forevermore (1 Corinthians 15:51-52, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17). This is one of many promises given to us by God Himself. Thank God for His strength and guidance when we are faced with sin and temptation. Thank Him for His mercy and grace. Through Bible study and prayer, God reveals His wisdom and guides us to see opportunities to grow closer to Him and grow spiritually. He gives us direction to live our lives daily according to His will.
Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to Heaven (John 3:5, 14:6), the ONLY way to salvation (Acts 4:12, Ephesians 2:8-9) and He is the resurrection and the life (John 11:25-26). Jesus Christ the LORD of lords, KING of kings, the GOD of gods (Deuteronomy 10:17, 1 Timothy 6:15, Revelation 17:14, Revelation 19:16) - He is the Living, Almighty and Everlasting God (Isaiah 9:6, Revelation 1:8, John 3:16, John 3:36, Jeremiah 10:10). There is no other God besides Him (Isaiah 45:5). We MUST humble ourselves before Him, turning our backs on false teachers, false gods and idols and our sinful ways. We MUST repent and turn back to God and recognize who He is and love Him in return for His great love for us. We MUST make God top priority everyday! May we be motivated to spread God's Holy Word and Gospel Truth to all the Earth, knowing that it is the only hope of all those lost in their sins. Let us not hold out a false hope for men to be saved without the Gospel, but instead, strive to do our part to get the Gospel out to a lost and dying world.
Leaning on Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ through prayer and His Holy Word and Spirit strengthens us and our knowledge and wisdom about God and His Gospel Truth, exposing these imposters. May God help us to seek and lean on Him daily to gain the strength, wisdom and spiritual discernment needed to expose Satan and his imposters who seek to destroy us and God's ultimate Truth. Everyday, we must remember to share Jesus Christ's Gospel Truth with the world and to thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for the grace that He poured out for us on the cross at Calvary. He has freed us from the burdens of sin and from the eternal damnation of Hell. In all we say and do, may all praise, honor and glory always be given to Him and His Kingdom of Heaven.
With renewed minds, hearts and wills, let us serve Him humbly and faithfully out of pure love and grateful rejoicing. May He remind us of His presence and to remain at peace, fully knowing that all will be well because He is always with us. Let us seek Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ today and everyday with all our heart and being, looking for His love, light and will for our lives with each step we take. Let us seek to please Him with our thoughts, words, and deeds and seek to advance His Kingdom of Heaven and His glory with our lives. Let us seek Him from a pure and humble heart, and when we so seek, we believe Him and His promise that we will find. May He help us all to be more sensitive to the teaching ministry of His Holy Word and Spirit, relying on Him and allowing Him to speak to us and guide us every step of our Christian journey.
God gave us the Holy Bible - His living and Holy Word - to let us know of Him and His abiding love and care as well as guide and prepare us for all our lives. May He help us encourage one another as we continue our walk with Him and our duty to Him daily. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for being present for all our new beginnings and all our lives. May He redirect any anxiety we feel as He provides countless opportunities for growth and change. May we humble ourselves before God always, asking Him to forgive our sins and make our hearts and lives anew through His Holy Word and Spirit. May He help us make Him and His Holy Word top priority, so we can grow spiritually and grow in our relationship with Him as we apply it to our daily lives. Thank God that we can focus on Him and everything about Him, for that is what keeps us sane and at peace. May our words and actions always be a reflection of Him and His Holy Word and Spirit and will.
May He help us to always walk in His grace and Holy Spirit, not by our own measure. May He give us the humble humility to know that our freedom and eternal salvation is found only in Him, so that His grace may sustain us, and we may never lose sight of His love and light and mercy. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for calling us to Him and to serve Him. May He equip us to do all that He has called us to do so that as He works through us, He may use us to produce fruit, to reach others, and to encourage all brothers and sisters in Christ. May He work all of these things in us and through us for His Kingdom and His glory. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for all His creation, for His miraculous ways and for everything He does and has done for us! Keep the faith and keep moving forward in your walk with Jesus! He loves us and He knows what is best for us. Seek, follow and trust in Him - Always!
Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for His Holy Word and for sending His Holy Spirit so that we might have His grace, not only to awaken us and transform our hearts in our spiritual rebirth and guarantee our eternity with Him, but to also call upon Him whenever we are in need. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for all the reminders of His love and mercy and faithfulness within His Holy Word. He is bigger than any challenge or circumstance in our lives. Knowing this within our minds and our hearts, nothing can deter our faith in Him and His Truth. May we all accept Him and His eternal gift of salvation and ask that He would transform our hearts and lives according to His will and ways. Thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for His Holy Spirit who saves, seals and leads us. May we always thank Father God Almighty and the LORD Jesus Christ for His almighty power and saving grace. For He is our strength, and He alone is able to save us, forgive our sins and gift us eternal salvation and entry into His Kingdom of Heaven.
May we make sure that we give our hearts and lives to God and take time to seek and praise Him and share His Truth with the world daily. May the LORD our God and Father in Heaven help us to stay diligent and obedient and help us to guard our hearts in Him and His Holy Word daily. May He help us to remain faithful and full of excitement to do our duty to Him and for His glorious return and our reunion in Heaven as well as all that awaits us there. May we never forget to thank the LORD our God and our Creator and Father in Heaven for all this and everything He does and has done for us! May we never forget who He is, nor forget who we are in Christ and that God is always with us! What a mighty God we serve! What a Savior this is! What a wonderful LORD, God, Savior and King we have in Jesus Christ! What a loving Father we have found in Almighty God! What a wonderful God we serve! His will be done!
Thanks and glory be to God! Blessed be the name of the LORD! Hallelujah and Amen!

God’s Whistleblower
The eyes of the LORD are in every place, keeping watch on the evil and the good. Proverbs 15:3 (ESV)
Wealth is treacherous, and the arrogant are never at rest. They open their mouths as wide as the grave, and like death, they are never satisfied. In their greed they have gathered up many nations and swallowed many peoples. Habakkuk 2:5 (NLT)
Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. Ephesians 5:11 (ESV)
What are worthless and wicked people like? They are constant liars. Proverbs 6:12 (NLT)
Why has the wicked man renounced God? He says to himself, “You will never call me to account.” Psalm 10:13 (BSB)
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. James 4:7 (KJV)
Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” Romans 12:19 (ESV)

LIGHT OF LIFE 557
John 1:4
DIVINE ORDER 122: WORKING ORDER 17
Joh 15:26 And when the Comforter has come, whom I will send to you from the Father, THE SPIRIT OF TRUTH WHO PROCEEDS FROM THE FATHER, HE SHALL TESTIFY OF ME. MKJV
THE HOLY GHOST IS WORKING 6 - HIS PURPOSE 1
Our opening scripture already shows the intrinsic purpose of the Holy Spirit in Life and to Humanity - To Testify about Jesus to Humanity.
Does this mean that all the New Life, Christianity and Gospel revolves around JESUS?
Let’s review this a bit, shall we?
Col 2:9-10 For IN HIM DWELLS ALL THE FULLNESS OF THE GODHEAD BODILY. AND YOU ARE COMPLETE IN HIM, who is the Head of all principality and power, MKJV
To all who contend against the Church of God, with Jesus as the Head, God has an answer.
Psa 110:1-2 A psalm by David. The LORD said to my Lord, "SIT IN THE HIGHEST POSITION IN HEAVEN UNTIL I MAKE YOUR ENEMIES YOUR FOOTSTOOL." The LORD will extend your powerful scepter from Zion. Rule your enemies who surround you. GW
We are all called from beginning, to be Kings and Priests unto God, reigning on earth (Gen1:26,28; Rev5:10).
So, anything or anyone who contends that has an answer.
Psa 2:2,3,12 THE KINGS OF THIS EARTH HAVE ALL JOINED TOGETHER TO TURN AGAINST THE LORD AND HIS CHOSEN ONE. They say, "Let's cut the ropes and set ourselves free!"…SHOW RESPECT TO HIS SON BECAUSE IF YOU DON'T, THE LORD MIGHT BECOME FURIOUS AND SUDDENLY DESTROY YOU. But he blesses and protects everyone who runs to him. CEV
Yes! This is the purpose of the Holy Ghost: to herald the Place, Power and honour of the Christ and His Kingdom.
But at what point was this function of the Spirit assigned to Him, or was this initiated from New Testament time after Jesus came and died for mankind?
Joh 5:39 “You are BUSY ANALYZING THE SCRIPTURES, frantically poring over them IN HOPES OF GAINING ETERNAL LIFE. EVERYTHING YOU READ POINTS TO ME, TPT
Everything recorded in the Holy Scriptures, points to Jesus. All the Torah and Histories have been [directly] about Jesus’ purpose, person and position, either Metaphorically or Literally implied.
No wonder every spoken word is Spirit, as denoted by Jesus Himself.
Joh 6:63 THE SPIRIT IS THE ONE WHO GIVES LIFE; human nature is of no help! THE WORDS THAT I HAVE SPOKEN TO YOU ARE SPIRIT AND ARE LIFE. NET
No wonder that it’s when you know how to read the WORD by the SPIRIT that you get Life.
2Co 3:6 Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: FOR THE LETTER KILLETH, BUT THE SPIRIT GIVETH LIFE. KJV
Many people read the Bible; not only Christians but various religions and pagans, but most of such only read to castigate or mock the “Way”.
It’s not that they [always] intend to criticize but because they cannot read with the “spiritual eye”, they don’t understand what they are reading and so, much of it looks and sound foolish to them.
1CO 1:18 TO PREACH THE MESSAGE OF THE CROSS SEEMS LIKE SHEER NONSENSE TO THOSE WHO ARE ON THEIR WAY TO DESTRUCTION, but to us who are on our way to salvation, it is the mighty power of God released within us. TPT
The Jews, who should have been first beneficiaries of the Gospel (Rom9:3-5), were so fixated with Moses’ Torah that they altogether missed the intrinsic message of Christ.
2Co 3:14-16 (BUT THEIR THOUGHTS WERE BLINDED; FOR UNTIL THE PRESENT THE SAME VEIL REMAINS ON THE READING OF THE OLD COVENANT, NOT TAKEN AWAY.) But this veil has been done away in Christ. BUT UNTIL THIS DAY, WHEN MOSES IS READ, THE VEIL IS ON THEIR HEART. BUT WHENEVER IT TURNS TO THE LORD, THE VEIL SHALL BE TAKEN AWAY. MKJV
Generally, as we have seen before, the intricate details of Scriptures was hidden to all men.
Col 1:26 For ages and ages THIS MESSAGE WAS KEPT SECRET FROM EVERYONE, BUT NOW IT HAS BEEN EXPLAINED TO GOD'S PEOPLE. CEV
Now, by the Holy Spirit, there is no more ambiguity or oblivion in presentation of TRUTH.
Joh 16:13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all truth. For he will not speak on his own authority, but will speak whatever he hears, and will tell you what is to come. NET
May The Lord grant us all, Full access to the TRUTH by the Holy Spirit, IN JESUS NAME.
See you on Wednesday, as we proceed with this interesting Subtopic.

Psalm 25:1-22 KJV
Unto thee, O LORD, do I lift up my soul. [2] O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me. [3] Yea, let none that wait on thee be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause. [4] Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths. [5] Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. [6] Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old. [7] Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD. [8] Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way. [9] The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way. [10] All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies. [11] For thy name's sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great. [12] What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose. [13] His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth. [14] The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant. [15] Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net. [16] Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted. [17] The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses. [18] Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins. [19] Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred. [20] O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee. [21] Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee. [22] Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.

The Wonders of God María Cristina Olivares Guzmán (Bogotá, Colombia)
"Before the mountains were born, before you birthed the earth and the inhabited world — from forever in the past to forever in the future, you are God". - Psalm 90:2 (CEB)
"A few years ago, to mitigate the pain of losing my father, I took up painting classes at my church. I did it as a diversion, really. But God knows exactly why and how such circumstances work to benefit our lives.
When I started painting, I learned to take a closer look at all of creation. What joy! I was in awe of the majestic mountains, flowing rivers, and robust forests. Added to this joy was taking a painting class with wonderful people in a setting of fellowship and friendship.
God created all the wonders that surround us and placed them in our care for us to enjoy. As children of God, it is most fitting to praise the Creator with grateful hearts." God's creation is totally magical and blows your mind all of the time. Such beauty to behold and so much brightness spreading in new visitas you might behold. I find peace in God's world.
TODAY'S PRAYER
"'Creator of heaven and earth, we praise you for your immense generosity to place all your creation under our stewardship. Teach us to be more grateful and to fulfill our commitment to care for all you have entrusted to us as we pray, “Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil”'(Lk. 11:2-4, KJV). Amen.
Genesis 1:1-28
"'1 When God began to create the heavens and the earth 2 the earth was without shape or form, it was dark over the deep sea, and God’s wind swept over the waters 3 God said, “Let there be light.” And so light appeared. 4 God saw how good the light was. God separated the light from the darkness. 5 God named the light Day and the darkness Night. There was evening and there was morning: the first day. 6 God said, “Let there be a dome in the middle of the waters to separate the waters from each other.” 7 God made the dome and separated the waters under the dome from the waters above the dome. And it happened in that way. 8 God named the dome Sky. There was evening and there was morning: the second day. 9 God said, “Let the waters under the sky come together into one place so that the dry land can appear.” And that’s what happened. 10 God named the dry land Earth, and he named the gathered waters Seas. God saw how good it was. 11 God said, “Let the earth grow plant life: plants yielding seeds and fruit trees bearing fruit with seeds inside it, each according to its kind throughout the earth.” And that’s what happened. 12 The earth produced plant life: plants yielding seeds, each according to its kind, and trees bearing fruit with seeds inside it, each according to its kind. God saw how good it was. 13 There was evening and there was morning: the third day. 14 God said, “Let there be lights in the dome of the sky to separate the day from the night. They will mark events, sacred seasons, days, and years. 15 They will be lights in the dome of the sky to shine on the earth.” And that’s what happened. 16 God made the stars and two great lights: the larger light to rule over the day and the smaller light to rule over the night. 17 God put them in the dome of the sky to shine on the earth, 18 to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. God saw how good it was. 19 There was evening and there was morning: the fourth day. 20 God said, “Let the waters swarm with living things, and let birds fly above the earth up in the dome of the sky.” 21 God created the great sea animals and all the tiny living things that swarm in the waters, each according to its kind, and all the winged birds, each according to its kind. God saw how good it was. 22 Then God blessed them: “Be fertile and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let the birds multiply on the earth.” 23 There was evening and there was morning: the fifth day. 24 God said, “Let the earth produce every kind of living thing: livestock, crawling things, and wildlife.” And that’s what happened. 25 God made every kind of wildlife, every kind of livestock, and every kind of creature that crawls on the ground. God saw how good it was. 26 Then God said, “Let us make humanity in our image to resemble us so that they may take charge of the fish of the sea, the birds in the sky, the livestock, all the earth, and all the crawling things on earth.” 27 God created humanity in God’s own image, in the divine image God created them, male and female God created them. 28 God blessed them and said to them, “Be fertile and multiply; fill the earth and master it. Take charge of the fish of the sea, the birds in the sky, and everything crawling on the ground.”' God's creation was performed step by step and day by day, and it was all deemed to be good. Until this day all of these creations enrich our lives and make this world our home. It is all good and it does give us blessings every day. Grab some of these blessings for yourself, today. Joe

Wise and Foolish Sons
1 A wise son heareth his father's instruction: but a scorner heareth not rebuke.
2 A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth: but the soul of the transgressors shall eat violence.
3 He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.
4 The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.
5 A righteous man hateth lying: but a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.
6 Righteousness keepeth him that is upright in the way: but wickedness overthroweth the sinner.
7 There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing: there is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great riches.
8 The ransom of a man's life are his riches: but the poor heareth not rebuke.
9 The light of the righteous rejoiceth: but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.
10 Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.
11 Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.
12 Hope deferred maketh the heart sick: but when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.
13 Whoso despiseth the word shall be destroyed: but he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.
14 The law of the wise is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death.
15 Good understanding giveth favour: but the way of transgressors is hard.
16 Every prudent man dealeth with knowledge: but a fool layeth open his folly.
17 A wicked messenger falleth into mischief: but a faithful ambassador is health.
18 Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth instruction: but he that regardeth reproof shall be honoured.
19 The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul: but it is abomination to fools to depart from evil.
20 He that walketh with wise men shall be wise: but a companion of fools shall be destroyed.
21 Evil pursueth sinners: but to the righteous good shall be repayed.
22 A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children's children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the just.
23 Much food is in the tillage of the poor: but there is that is destroyed for want of judgment.
24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.
25 The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul: but the belly of the wicked shall want. — Proverbs 13 | King James Version (KJV) The King James Version Bible is in the public domain Cross References: Exodus 9:20; Judges 19:30; 2 Chronicles 10:8; Ezra 9:12; Job 18:5; Psalm 18:5; Psalm 111:10; Psalm 119:1; Proverbs 1:31; Proverbs 6:6; Proverbs 9:7-8; Proverbs 12:11; Proverbs 12:23; Proverbs 14:24; Proverbs 21:6; Proverbs 23:13-14; Proverbs 25:13; Ecclesiastes 7:5; Isaiah 47:11; Luke 12:20-21; Luke 15:14; Colossians 3:9; James 3:2; Revelation 2:7

FREEDOM FROM THE PAST
We are entering a new season in 2023 of a fresh start!
AFFIRMATIONS
I never give up.
I ask, seek, and knock (Matthew 7:7) until I understand and implement God’s purpose for my life.
I never give in again to a mindset of guilt and failure (see Hebrews 10:35).
I was created to carry His glory and presence into a lost and dying world.
God has confidence in me. (see Deuteronomy 28:13).
You experience the overwhelming love and favor of God as you leave the past behind and boldly take hold of the your Christ calling and begin bearing fruit that remains for His Kingdom.

Daily Devotionals for September 21, 2024 Proverbs: God's Wisdom for Daily Living Devotional Scripture: Proverbs 25:4-5 (KJV): 4 Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer.
Thought for the Day
Removing dross from silver in order to form it into a precious vessel, is comparable to removing wicked administrators from positions of authority.
"…Let everyone that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity. But in a great house, there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of the earth; and some to honor, and some to dishonor" (2 Timothy 2:19a, 20). "If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honor, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work" (2 Timothy 2:21).
How we respond to life's trials determines what kind of vessel we become. Trials "heat up our circumstances" and bring hidden sins to the surface.
Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross: therefore I love thy testimonies" (Psalm 119:117-119). Prayer Devotional for the Day Dear heavenly Father, thank you for the ongoing work that You are doing in my life and others. I do want to cry out as David did for grace and strength to keep Your commandments. May I always love and respect You and Your Word above all else. I know that when I choose to do this, You will protect me from the enemy and keep me in a place of safety. Lord, cleanse me from every evil thing so that I will become a vessel of honor for Your glory. Purge the "dross" from my life so that I will shine for You as silver and gold. I ask this in the name of the Lord Jesus, my redeemer, and your son, Amen.

Trem Daily Devotional 4th January 2024 By Bishop Mike Okonkwo: Be Expectant
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Trem Daily Devotional - Be Expectant
The Topic of Trem Devotional for 4th January 2024 “Be Expectant”
Memorise:“My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.” Psalm 62:5 (KJV)
TREM DEVOTIONAL FOR 4TH JANUARY 2024
As we go on this year, stay expectant. Expectation is the mother of miracles. What you do not expect, you may not receive. I appreciate the fact that there are many distractions, that is why I am calling your attention this early in the Year to be expectant. Give quality time to the study of and meditation on the Word of God because everything you need is in the Word. Just the same way Peter said to the cripple at the gate Beautiful in Acts 3, I am challenging you to look unto God. Stay focused. Be expectant. The cripple looked at Peter expecting to receive something from them. I am sure he was expecting some coins, but he got more than coins, he got healing. His bones were restored. In the same way, as you look unto Jesus this year, He will exceed your expectations in Jesus’ name, you will not just get enough, you will get more than enough. When God said it is the Year of “Great and Mighty Things”, it is not a play on words. The Word of God will not fall to the ground unfulfilled. It has already gone out of His mouth, it is bound to come to pass, but again, you must be ready to play your part. Don’t just read the devotional and take a walk, decide to act on it. This is not a religious ritual; it is a necessity to birth the glory that God has in store for you. I perceive 2024 is the Year you have been waiting for. God will do incredible things in righteousness. He will grant you speed. He will cause you to be celebrated on platforms you never imagined, but it will all come to pass as you hold on steadfastly to the Word. Take the declarations from the Exodus service seriously, declare them over your life again and again and be assured, you will testify. NEW LIFE IN JESUS CHRIST
Tumblr media
OUR MISSION
1. To Preach The Gospel Of Salvation To Every Creature Of The World.
Mark 15:16
2. Preach The Message Of Repentance And Forgiveness Of Sins In All Nations In The Name Of Jesus Christ. Luke 24:47.
3. Teaching The Undiluted Word And Doctrines Of Jesus Christ To Every Creature. Matthew 28:20.
4.Raising Disciples Of Jesus Christ In All Nations.
Our goal is to rescue the corrupt and wicked world from the bondage and captivity of satan by opening their spiritual eyes to Salvation through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
NEW LIFE IN CHRIST
TEXT: I JOHN 3:1-10
The greatest thing that could happen to anyone in life is to have the power of sin broken.
Sin enslaves, subjugates, and ultimately sends the sinner to a Christless eternity in hell fire. He
But when a person becomes a new creature through repentance from sin and faith in Christ, he is a new creature, old things are passed away and behold, all things are become new. (II Corinthians 5:17).
SONSHIP OF THE CHRISTIANS
Apostle John found the experience of salvation as extraordinary privilege. He says, “ Behold, what manner of love the Father had bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God…” ( I John 3:1).
For a sinner to answer to be a son or daughter of God, or a saint, or child of God, shows His special love.
The experience of sonship brings the following special privileges:
• Power Over Sin.
A distinguishing mark of a child of God is the grace to overcome sin by all it’s visible and deceptive appearances. “ Whosoever abideth in Him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen Him, neither known Him” (I John 3:6)
• Another mark of the new life is love.
God’s love is shed abroad in the believer’s heart by the Holy Ghost at the point of salvation. There is a thirst and hunger for fellowship with God because of this love.
• There is a commitment to a life of righteousness (I John 3:7,9,10).
Moreover, those truly born of God seek the things of the Spirit. Their affection is “centred “ on things above not on things on the earth”. (Colossians 3:2), Galatians 5:22-23, Ephesians 2:8-10
They do not neglect prayer and daily reading of the Bible or allow anything to hinder them from regular fellowship with the people of God.
SINFULNESS OF THE SINNER
Unlike saints of God, an unconverted person commits to a life devoted to sinful acts of lying, cheating, fraud, deception, immorality, fornication, adultery, sexual perversion, and the like.
By nature, they are servants of the devil. “ He that committeth sin is of the devil...”
Unless there is a miracle of conversion and salvation through Christ, such a person continues to be a servant of sin and of the devil.
SALVATION THROUGH THE SAVIOUR
Christ makes the difference between a sinner and a saint. He saves and transforms repentant sinners, sanctify thirsty believers and fills them with His Spirit.
You too can experience Christ’s transforming touch today.
PERSONAL STUDY
• Study the following passages to know the state of sinners:
John 8:34, Isaiah 59:7,8, Ephesians 4:17,18, Romans 8:7,8, Ephesians 2:1, Isiah 1:19, Ezikiel 18:4,, Psalm 50:22, Revelation 20:15, Galatians 5:19-22, Psalm 7:11, Matthew 11:28-30, I John 3:8-9, John 2:15-17, I Corinthians 6:9-10, II Corinthians 6:14-18, Deuteronomy 28:15-24
• Study the following passages to know the Characteristics of a new life in Christ:
II Corinthians 5:17, I John 4:7,8, I John 3:8,9 Hebrews 10:25, Joshua 1:8, Isiah 1:18, Psalm 1:1-5, Micah 6:2, Colossians 1:13, I Peter 2:9-10, 24, Deuteronomy 28:1-14, John 14:1-3, Isiah 65:24, Exodus 15:26, John 14:14
PRAYER OF REPENTANCE
Romans 10:9-10, 13 (KJV) That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
SAY AFTER ME:
Lord Jesus, I come before you as a wretched sinner. I confess all my sins to you today (Mention the sins you have committed one by one).
Have mercy upon my life and forgive me all my sins. Wash away my sins with your precious blood you shed for me on the cross of Calvary.
I confess you as my personal Lord and Saviour and I believe in my heart that you died for my sins and was raised from the dead for my redemption.
I thank you Lord for answering my Prayer. In Jesus Mighty name I pray.

Leviticus 19:16, KJV "Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous." Psalms 31:18, KJV "Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer." Psalm 101:5, KJV "Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue. What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue? Sharp arrows of the mighty, with coals of juniper." Psalms 120:2-4, KJV "These six things doth the LORD hate: yea, seven are an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness that speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren." Proverbs 6:16-19, KJV "He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool. In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise." Proverbs 20:19, KJV "Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth. As coals are to burning coals, and wood to fire; so is a contentious man to kindle strife. The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly. Burning lips and a wicked heart are like a potsherd covered with silver dross. He that hateth dissembleth with his lips, and layeth up deceit within him; When he speaketh fair, believe him not: for there are seven abominations in his heart." Proverbs 26:20-25, KJV "A faithful witness will not lie: but a false witness will utter lies." Mark 10:19, KJV "But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment." Matthew 12:36, KJV "Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ." Colossians 2:8, KJV "Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do." 1 Timothy 1:4, KJV "But refuse profane and old wives' fables, and exercise thyself rather unto godliness." 1 Timothy 4:7, KJV "But the younger widows refuse: for when they have begun to wax wanton against Christ, they will marry; Having damnation, because they have cast off their first faith. And withal they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not." 1 Timothy 5:11-13, KJV "‭‭For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies." 2 Thessalonians 3:11, KJV "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables." 2 Timothy 4:3-4, KJV "Not giving heed to Jewish fables, and commandments of men, that turn from the truth."
