When Jesus Says: “I Never Knew You”
Towards the end of Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount (Matthew chapters 5-7), Jesus warned His disciples to “Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves” (Matt 7:15). These false prophets will bear bad fruit (Matt 7:16-20), which is their false teachings and demonically empowered miracles. These pseudo-prophets are deceived, thinking they’re doing…

Matthew 7:21-23
I’ll preach as a dying man, to dying men and women, and youth. And I’ll preach as though I will never preach again, and I will tell you things that you will misunderstand, and I will tell you things that make you so angry with me.
I’m not troubled in my heart about your self-esteem. I’m not troubled in my heart about whether or not you feel good about yourself, whether or not life is turning out like you want it to turn out, or whether or not your checkbook is balanced. There’s only one thing that gives me a sleepless night. There’s only one thing that troubles me all throughout the morning. And that is this, within a hundred years, a great majority of people in this world will possibly be in hell. And many who even profess Jesus Christ as Lord will spend an eternity in hell.
Because if I correctly interpret this passage of scripture that I’m going to give you, it is as though God was speaking through a man. And your problem will not be with me, it will be with God and His Word. So the only question that really has to be decided here is, is this man before us a false prophet? Or is he telling us the truth? And if he is telling us the truth, then nothing else matters except conforming our lives to that truth. What you need to know is that salvation is by faith and faith alone in Jesus Christ. And faith alone in Jesus Christ is preceded and followed by repentance. A turning away from sin, a hatred for the things that God hates and a love for the things that God loves. A growing in holiness and a desire, not to be like Britney Spears, not to be like the world, and not to be like the great majority of American Christians, but to be like Jesus Christ.
I’m talking about you. I didn’t come here to get amens, I didn't come here to get likes and comments, I didn’t come here to be applauded, I’m talking about you.
21 "Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' 23 And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.' (Matthew 7:21-23, ESV)
We are living in a time where billions of people are dying without Christ. We are living at a time when millions of so-called evangelicals do not even understand the Gospel. Shouldn’t somebody be disturbed? Shouldn’t someone be broken? And shouldn’t someone stand up and say, this is wrong?

Shadows Without Hope
MEMORY VERSE OF THE WEEK
=========================
+ 1 Corinthians 2:5 So that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men but in the power of God.
=========================
VERSE OF THE DAY
========================
+    2 Chronicles 29:15 We are foreigners and strangers in your sight, as were all our ancestors. Our days on earth are like a shadow without hope.
=========================
SUBJECT: Shadows Without Hope
=========================
** SAY THIS BEFORE YOU READ; HERE’S SOME CHRISTIAN TRUTHS **
I AM FOCUSING ON GOD
I AM A STRANGERS
I AM LOVING
I AM HOPEFUL
========================
READ TIME: 7 Minutes & 18 Seconds
========================
THOUGHTS:
=======================
We often hear that we must be careful when handling things because we never know when our last day will be. We never know when we will see someone again. Sometimes, we take stuff like this for granted when we argue about things with family, especially since we never know when we will see them again, so we must be careful with what we do and speak.
I can say that sometimes looking over certain things is hard, and I immediately go to God and say, God, I can't get past this. Show me how to deal with this , and he would, and he’ll guide me through. The verse tells us we are strangers, foreigners, here, no matter how many ways we say it or see it, we got a home and a car and this and that, but if something happens today, we will be gone. The word says we are like a shadow, a vape, a mist; having any of theses things matters the disagreements we have all of is meaningless.

•James 4:14 Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes.

•Psalm 39:5 You, indeed, have made my days as handbreadths, and my lifetime as nothing before You. Truly, each man at his best exists as but a breath. Selah
•Psalm 144:4 Man is like a breath; his days are like a passing shadow.

Since we don’t know what day what hour Jesus will return and we don’t know what our last day is here, even in our verses today, it tells us we are like a breath, and because we aren’t sure we must live a life of holiness yesterday, we talked about holiness and being a special instrument of God. Still, if we are going to continue to live any way when we die, we will go to hell.
Many people don’t want to hear this apart; they want it sugar-coated, and they want this part made up, or they can’t dare hear any of it, and they want to believe  everyone goes to heaven, but friends,  I won't lie to you if you're not living a life of holiness if I am not living a life of holiness we aren’t going to make it to heaven, but it's up us, and a lot of people say well it’s no way God is sending me to hell for this, or it's no way he is sending me to hell for that, in our word it tells us who will make it and who won't, and he’s not sending us we are sending our selves.
•Matthew 7:21-23 Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day, many will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’
•Revelation 21:8 But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death.”
•1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
This devotional is packed with scriptures because I want everyone to see this and know this is coming straight from the word of God. A lot of people say they don’t read the bible because they don’t want the bible to show them why or what they are doing wrong; we can go to any preacher to fill our itchy ears, but getting someone to tel us something we want to hear versus what we need to hear won’t help us in the long run.
If you or I don’t live a life of righteousness   neither one of us will make it to heaven; we have to start getting it right and ask God to give us strength to let go over our fleshly ways and not hold on to every slight bit of bitterness, the word says to flee from it, and I know that some of us have had a lot we have went through. Still, we also must know that holding on to bitterness doesn't help us grow; it stagnates our growth in God.
***Today, we learned that having all the things in the world cant keep us from hell; everything we do that’s not right in God's sight, we need to fix it, and to do this, we go to him; a lot of people don’t like devotionals like this because it’s stating we have a problem and a lot of people think how they are is just fine in the eyes of God but if you haven’t asked him to clean you with hyssop , do so by saying this “ Father if it’s anything in me that you don’t like please show me it can be selfishness, bitterness, lustful ways whatever it is I want to be pure for you, cleanse me like hyssop father.
We never know when our time will be, so when we have arguments with anyone, we need to go to them and fix it; we always want to be ready and prepared, but this isn’t saying. We did nothing wrong, but we must go to them and say I am sorry if I offended you, and it’s up to them to accept. However, in everything we do, we must do it in love. God wants us to understand that certain things won’t be accepted in heaven: sexually immoral, thieves, greedy, idolaters, murderers, the faithless, etc. We must strive for perfection and holiness, and to do this, we must do it in his strength, not in ours; everything is impossible for us but not God; that’s why we do this in his strength. ©Seer~ Prophetess Lee

PRAYER
========================
Heavenly Father, we thank you for everything; we ask you today to be with us and show us the way.  Father, we are struggling right now, and we ask you to give us the strength to walk on the narrow road. Father, every day, we try, and it’s tough. We ask you to help us not to fall, but if we stumble, please help us to keep holding on to you, in Jesus' Name, Amen

What does Jesus and the Bible teach about being a “good Christian”?
at the request of @iridescent-glass-bubbles, i wrote some scriptural advice. and i apologize for being long winded, but i wanted the verses to do a lot of the talking 😂🙏
The most important thing in learning to set a good example as a Christian is to continually read God’s Word.
Hosea 4:6 says, “My people are being destroyed because they don’t know Me,” (NLT). And in the KJV, it says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” It means, how can we know God and His ways if we’re not actively reading about them? It’s much easier to be confused and led astray when you’re not familiar with what He’s said and how He works. (If you can read a novel, you can read Matthew or John or Romans.)
Similarly, what you’re constantly focusing on will affect how you think and act. Jesus says, “But the words you speak come from the heart- that’s what defiles you. For from the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, all sexual immorality, theft, lying, and slander,” (Matthew 15:18). This is why Paul says in Colossians 3:2, “Think about the things of Heaven, not the things of earth.” And in Philippians 4:8, “Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.” Fill up your heart with things of the Lord, and that’s when your actions will start to follow.
As for how Jesus wants us to act, it’s all through the New Testament, especially His “Sermon on the Mount” speech in Matthew. Among some are: don’t hate anyone (5:21-22), don’t seek revenge (5:38-42), love and be kind to those who hate you (5:43-48), forgive everyone without holding a grudge (6:14-5), and don’t let pride convince you you’re better than everyone else (7:1-5). He says in Matthew 22:37-38, “You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” The Golden Rule: treat others the way you’d want to be treated, is actually from the Bible (in Matthew 7:12).
A good summary is found in Colossians 3:12-15 which says, “Since God chose you to be the holy people He loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Above all, clothe yourselves with Love, which binds us all together in perfect harmony. And let the peace that comes from Christ rule in your hearts.” (Also see the fruits of the Holy Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23).
Jesus didn’t just teach these things, He lived them. Every account of a situation He was in is an example of how He honored these principles.
It sounds like a tall order, doesn’t it? The truth is we aren’t capable of being perfect examples of Christ. We mess up all the time. But the Holy Spirit can help us with these things. Jesus wants to grow us into bright lights that shine His love on everyone, but we need to be willing. I didn’t see that much change in myself until i started regularly reading the Bible and thinking on how He wanted me to act. And then i started putting in the effort to obey, and He provided the increase.
We can’t be “good Christians” if we’re relying only on our own efforts. But we’re called to listen to and obey the Lord and He will change us more and more into His image. As Philippians 1:6 says, “And I am certain that God, who began the good work in you, will continue his work until it is finished on the day when Christ Jesus returns.” So let God’s promises fill you with peace, stand for the truth, and love others even in difficult situations. 💙

Creator Set's Free's (Jesus') Tribal Ancestry
1 Here is the record of the ancestry of Creator Sets Free (Jesus) the Chosen One, a descendant of Much Loved One (David) and of Father of Many Nations (Abraham). From Father of Many Nations (Abraham) to Much Loved One (David), his ancestors were: 2 Father of Many Nations (Abraham), He Made Us Laugh (Isaac), Heel Grabber (Jacob), Give Him Praise (Judah) and his brothers, 3 He Breaks Through (Perez) and his brother First Light (Zerah), whose mother was Fruit of Palm Tree (Tamar), Circle of Tipis (Hezron), Lifted Up (Ram), 4 Noble Relative (Amminadab), Talks with Snakes (Nahshon), He Makes Peace (Salmon), 5 Moves with Strength (Boaz), whose mother was Boastful Woman (Rahab), He Works Hard (Obed), whose mother was Beautiful Friend (Ruth), Original Man (Jesse), 6 who was the father of the great chief Much Loved One (David). From Much Loved One (David) to the removal to Village of Confusion (Babylon), the ancestors of Creator Sets Free (Jesus) were: Much Loved One (David), Stands in Peace (Solomon), whose mother, Daughter of Seven (Bathsheba), was the wife of Fire from Creator (Uriah), 7 Big People Maker (Rehoboam), He Is My Father (Abijah), Gathers the People (Asa), 8 He Makes Wrongs Right Again (Jehoshaphat), Creator Is Above (Jehoram), My Great Power (Uzziah), 9 Creator Has No Equal (Jotham), Held by Creator (Ahaz), He Will Be Strong (Hezekiah), 10 He Made Them Forget (Manasseh), Burden Bearer (Amon), Good Medicine (Josiah), 11 and Chosen by Creator (Jeconiah) and his brothers at the time of the removal to Village of Confusion (Babylon).
12 From the removal to Village of Confusion (Babylon) to the birth of Creator Sets Free (Jesus), his ancestors were: Chosen by Creator (Jeconiah), Ask Creator (Shealtiel), Born in Village of Confusion (Zerubbabel), 13 Father Boasts in Him (Abihud), He Builds Up (Eliakim), He Helps (Azor), 14 Stands with a Good Heart (Zadok), Stands Firm (Achim), Power of Creator (Eliud), 15 Creator Helps Him (Eleazar), Gifted by Creator (Matthan), Heel Grabber (Jacob), 16 and He Gives Sons (Joseph), who was the husband of Bitter Tears (Mary), who gave birth to Creator Sets Free (Jesus), who is the Chosen One.
17 And so there were fourteen generations from Father of Many Nations (Abraham) to Much Loved One (David), fourteen more generations from Much Loved One (David) until the removal to Village of Confusion (Babylon), and then fourteen more from the removal to Creator Sets Free (Jesus), the Chosen One.
Birth of the Chosen One
18 Here is the story of how the Chosen One was born: His mother, Bitter Tears (Mary), had been promised in marriage to He Gives Sons (Joseph). But before they came together in marriage, while still a virgin, she found out that she was carrying a baby in her womb from the Holy Spirit. 19 He Gives Sons (Joseph) was a man of honor. He did not want to bring her trouble and open shame, so he thought about secretly releasing her from the marriage promise.
20 As he wondered about these things, a messenger from the Great Spirit appeared to him in a dream and said, “He Gives Sons (Joseph), descendant of Much Loved One (David), do not be afraid to take Bitter Tears (Mary) to be your wife, because the Holy Spirit has given her this child. 21 She will give birth to a son. You will name him Creator Sets Free (Jesus), because he will set his people free from their bad hearts and broken ways.”
22 This gave full meaning to the words of Creator spoken long ago by the prophet, 23 “A young virgin will be with child and give birth to a son. They will call his name Immanuel, which in our tribal language means Creator Is with Us.”
24 When He Gives Sons (Joseph) woke up, he followed the guidance given him in the dream and took Bitter Tears (Mary) to be his wife. 25 But he did not have sexual relations with her until after the child was born, and he named the child Creator Sets Free (Jesus). — Gift From Creator Tells The Good Story 1 (Matthew 1) | First Nations Version (FNV) First Nations Version Bible Copyright ©2023 InterVarsity Press. Do We Focus on Ourselves or God?
How can we profess to be true born again follower of Jesus, Bible believing Christian when we are not serious about God? It’s obvious to see on social media. All our posts are about us, our thoughts, our feelings, our opinions, politics and quotes that are not biblical/spiritually helpful or encouraging. Any true born again followers of Jesus Christ knows very well :
“And He said to him, “ YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’ This is the great and foremost commandment. The second is like it, ‘YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF.’ Upon these two commandments hang the whole Law and the Prophets.”
Matthew 22:37-40
‘I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot; I wish that you were cold or hot. So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of My mouth.”
Revelation 3:15-16
“I am the vine, you are the branches; the one who remains in Me, and I in him bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not remain in Me, he is thrown away like a branch and dries up; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned.”
John 15:5-6
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of My Father who is in heaven will enter. Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in Your name cast out demons, and in Your name perform many miracles?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; LEAVE ME, YOU WHO PRACTICE LAWLESSNESS”.
Matthew 7:21-23
“For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them.”
Ephesians 2:10
God cannot be just a part of our lives, He has to be our Everything. We have been born again to serve Him, not ourselves. What we feel and think we can always pray and talk to God about for He cares for us. He provides for all our needs, He protects us, He blesses us and heal us, that is His part; our part is to obey Him in all things and to serve Him out of love for Him, but if we do not make God our Everything, not making Him the center of our life and our only reason for existing, We blatantly disobey the first commandment: YOU SHALL LOVE THE LORD YOUR GOD WITH ALL YOUR HEART, AND WITH ALL YOUR SOUL, AND WITH ALL YOUR MIND.’
How than can we expect to make it to Heaven when we die?
Consider this: “For many are called, but few are chosen.”
Matthew 22:14
“Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it. For the gate is narrow and the way is constricted that leads to life, and there are few who find it.”
Matthew 7:13-14
Wake up people of God! Repent and serve God as you were created to do!!!

THE RAPTURE--ACCORDING TO JESUS
Feb 2, 2024 Jesus taught such a comforting, hope-filled message of His return to rescue His Church before the Tribulation, that His disciples went everywhere teaching this same truth.
When Paul had only a month in a pagan city where he planted a church, the Rapture was central to their doctrine.
The Rapture was First Taught by Jesus
The Rapture is a doctrine started and taught by Jesus, continued and spread by His disciples, and believed and passionately lived out by His Church.
The early church heard and understood this doctrine of Christ’s any-moment return, and radiantly lived, looking for ways to please Him when He came to rescue them.
James in the first NT letter said that Christ was standing at the door (5:7).
The second NT book was I Thessalonians and every chapter shines with Rapture-induced hope-filled expectancy (1:9-10; 2:19-20; 3:13; 4:13-18; 5:23).
Paul’s epistles start to finish, are seasoned with the flavor of a focused life awaiting Christ as in Philippians 3:20 where we as citizens of Heaven await Jesus eagerly, as Paul confesses in his last words of II Timothy 4 where he talks about His crown “at that day” when Jesus comes.
Peter says the same, going so far as asking what kind of lives should we live because we know the future (II Peter 3:11 ).
John’s Epistles are the same, in I John 3:2-3 he says that this “hope” causes us to purify our daily life looking for Christ’s coming.
In Revelation 3:7, Jesus Christ identifies Himself to the Church at Philadelphia as the One who is True, Holy, and has the unstoppable Messianic Key of David. When Jesus speaks He tells the Truth. When we listen to Him and hear what He says we can have confident assurance that He knows what He is talking about.
Jesus Christ taught repeatedly (Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 21) that His 2nd Coming is to Judge the ungodly.
That was the content of every sermon on the future that He ever preached.
Each sermon was taught in the context of Israel, was focused upon the Jews, and involved the city of Jerusalem and the nation of Israel.
The Rapture is Not The 2nd Coming
But, when Jesus spoke to believers His emphasis was different.
Jesus taught His own born-again children of the faith, three bedrock truths about the Rapture or His coming for His Church.
These truths are that: the Rapture will be a source of comfort; the Rapture will be similar to the Ascension; and that the Rapture will be an intentional rescue.
Those truths, taught by Jesus Christ Himself, constitute the Biblical, doctrinal basis for all that the early church was later taught by the Apostles and which extends to us throughout all the centuries since Christ’s ministry.

Question: Is Jesus in the Old Testament?
Answer: Jesus shows up often in the Old Testament—not by that name, and not in the same form as we see Him in the New Testament, but He is there nonetheless. The theme of the entire Bible is Christ.
Jesus Himself confirmed the fact that He is in the Old Testament. In John 5:46 He explained to some religious leaders who had challenged Him that the Old Testament was talking about Him: “If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me.” According to Jesus, God’s work with man since time began all pointed to Him. Another time when Jesus showed that He is in the Old Testament was on the day of His resurrection. Jesus was walking with two of His disciples, and “beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself” (Luke 24:27). Earlier, before His crucifixion, Jesus had pointed to Isaiah 53:12 and said, “It is written: ‘And he was numbered with the transgressors’ and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment” (Luke 22:37).
By some counts, more than 300 Old Testament prophecies point to Jesus Christ and were fulfilled by Him in His life on earth. These include prophecies about His unique birth (Isaiah 7:14), His earthly ministry (Isaiah 61:1), and even the way He would die (Psalm 22). Jesus shocked the religious establishment when He stood up in the synagogue of Nazareth and read from Isaiah 61, concluding with this commentary: “This scripture has been fulfilled in your hearing today” (Luke 4:18–21).
Another way that Jesus is in the Old Testament is in the form of Christophanies—pre-incarnate appearances of the Son of God. The Old Testament uses the term angel of the Lord interchangeably with the Lord in reference to these visitations. One Christophany is found in Genesis 18:1–33 when the Lord appeared to Abram in human form. Such tangible encounters with deity are scattered throughout the Old Testament (Genesis 16:7–14; 22:11–18; Judges 5:23; 2 Kings 19:35; Daniel 3:25).
But there are even deeper ways that Jesus is found in the Old Testament. These are seen in what we call “types.” A type is a person or thing in the Old Testament that foreshadows a person or thing in the New. For example, the tabernacle, the sacrificial system, and the Passover are all types of Christ’s redemption. In addition, some of the lives of Old Testament characters reflect elements of the life of Christ. Moses, like Jesus, spoke for God, confronted the evil powers of the day, and led his people to freedom through a miraculous deliverance. The life of Joseph is another that seems to model the life of Christ.
Many Old Testament historical events double as symbols of what God would do in the future, through Christ. For example, God called Abraham to offer his son Isaac as a sacrifice. Abraham uttered these prophetic words in response to Isaac’s question about a lamb: “God himself will provide the lamb for the burnt offering, my son” (Genesis 22:8). God did provide a ram in Isaac’s place, symbolizing what He would do thousands of years later on that very mountain when His own Son was offered as a sacrifice in our place (Matthew 27:33). Events surrounding the sacrifice of Isaac thus serve as a type of the sacrifice of Christ.
Jesus referred to another event in Israel’s history as a foreshadowing of His crucifixion. In the wilderness, the people following Moses had sinned, and God sent serpents among them to bite them. The people were dying, and they appealed to Moses for help. God told Moses to make a bronze serpent and place it on a pole. All those who looked to it would be healed (Numbers 21:4–19). Jesus alluded to this incident in John 3:14–15: “Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes in Him may have eternal life in him.”
God’s design for the tabernacle is another way that Jesus is in the Old Testament. The altar in the courtyard symbolizes the need for Jesus’ sacrifice to atone for our sin. The laver shows Jesus as providing the water of life (John 4:14). Inside the Holy Place, the lampstand is suggestive of Jesus as the light of the world (John 9:5). The table of showbread is Jesus as the bread of life (John 6:35). In the altar of incense is seen Jesus as our heavenly intercessor, continually offering prayers for us (Romans 8:34; Hebrews 7:25). According to Hebrews 10:20, the veil before the ark of the covenant is a picture of Jesus’ human flesh.
The Son of God is not just in the New Testament; Jesus is in the Old Testament, too. Jesus is God’s promised Messiah. From the virgin birth in Bethlehem (Isaiah 7:14; Luke 1:35; Micah 5:2), through the sojourn to Egypt (Hosea 11:1; Matthew 2:14–15), to His ministry of healing and hope (Genesis 3:15; 1 John 3:8), all the way through His resurrection (Psalm 16:9–11; Acts 2:31), Jesus Christ is the theme of both Old and New Testaments. It could be said that Jesus is the reason for the Bible. He is the Living Word. The entire Bible is a beacon that points us to God’s offer of reconciliation, the hope of forgiveness and eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Only God can provide total security Part 5 (final )
Responses to scriptures which appear to be against eternal security.
There are Christians who believe that they can lose their salvation.
It is worth considering just for a moment, that there are only two positions on this matter. Either you can or you cannot lose your salvation!
In general, two types of error can be made when trying to interpret a passage of scripture.
1. Either or the verse or passage is misapplied i.e. it is talking about a different subject altogether (and not salvation in this case).
2. A verse can be taken out of context and so it is meaning becomes distorted.
An example of such an error is where some people say that because Galatians 5:4 [4] says that we can ‘fall from grace’ then this means we can lose our salvation.
This passage is talking about how to lead the Christian life not about salvation!
Scriptures used to oppose the doctrine of eternal security.
Generally, they can be divided into five main groups.
1. Passages dealing with fruit and the judgement of believers works.
e.g. In the parable of the Sower (Matthew 13:3-9) the main thrust of the story is about people’s hearts and the fruit that they will produce when salvation comes. Only the first category the hard-hearted person who refuses the seed of God’s word is an unbeliever.
See also Hebrews 6:7-10 and 1 Corinthians 9:24-27.
2. Passages about God disciplining believers.
Although God does discipline his children, he does not throw them out of his family.
The unforgivable sin is of course the sin of not believing what the Holy Spirit and the Word God say about Jesus Christ and can only be committed by unbelievers!
In Acts 5:1-11 Annanias and Sapphira lied to the Holy Spirit and died! This does not imply that they lost their salvation, but it was a judgement of their works. Their dead works will be burned up in heaven just like ours!
See also the story of King Saul in 1 Samuel 28 and especially v.19 ...you and your sons will be with me.
3. Passages taken out of context.
Matthew 24:13 But he who endures to the end shall be saved. The context of ‘saved’ here is that of delivered i.e. will not die but survive.
Matthew 7:21-23 ...I never knew you; depart from me your evil who practise lawlessness. This is talking about judgement day (every knee ...) and is clearly talking about unbelievers.
4. Passages exhorting believers to live in fellowship.
Hebrews 6:1-6 careful study of this passage shows that the ‘repentance of v.6 is referring to the same repentance from dead works’ as verse 1. This is talking about believers who are out of fellowship with the Lord and need to get rid of their dead works.
5. Miscellaneous scriptures.
Revelation 3:5 ‘Overcomers’ Some people assume that some believers will not be overcomers and hence lose their salvation. However, in 1 John 5 4-5 defines who the overcomers are i.e. one who has faith in Jesus Christ.
2 Timothy 2:11-13; ‘If we deny (disown) Him....He will also deny us. However at the end of the day if God remains faithful our salvation is secure in Him, and He always remains faithful.
Conclusion
The grace of God should promote holiness in our lives. We are in a relationship with God which cannot be broken although our fellowship can.
Your eternal life has already begun so let us live and act in a worthy manner!
Jude:24-25 24 Now unto him that can keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy,
25 To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion, and power, both now and for ever.
Amen.

2/5/2023 DAB Transcript
Exodus 21:22-23:13, Matthew 24:1-28, Psalm 29:1-11, Proverbs 7:6-23
Today is the fifth day of February, welcome to the Daily Audio Bible. I am Brian, it is great to be here with you today as we greet a…a shiny, sparkly week out in front of us. A busy week it will be indeed, for us, later this afternoon, and all through this evening and all night, we will be journeying to the land of the Bible, from the rolling hills of Tennessee, all the way over to Tel Aviv, where we will be preparing to begin our 2023 tour of the land of the Bible. And that will indeed, be a community experience. There will certainly be a couple of buses of us there, but we will be talking about what we’re doing and where we’re going and how we’re getting along and what's up and posting pictures on social media, of what we’re doing and where we are. And then, later, about a week from now, we’ll have a live broadcast. Once we…once we make it to the Galilee, we’ll be doing that. So, we’ll be talking about all this stuff as we go. I'm just, I’ve got all these like jitters, you know, like am I forgetting something, do I have everything packed, am I ready because it’s not like you can just run down the street to the local whatever store to get what you need. So, thank you for your prayers. And we’re looking forward to that. But that's not until later, and so, this is now, and let us take the next step forward in the Scriptures. We’ve got ourselves a brand-new week here, we’ll read from the EHV, the Evangelical Heritage Version this week. And of course, picking up right where we left off yesterday, Exodus chapter 21 verse 22, through 23 verse 13.
Prayer:
Father, we thank You for Your word. We thank You for this brand-new, shiny week. We thank You for resets, we thank You that Your and mercies are new every morning, and that every day is a reset. We thank You for Your kindness and Your patience with us, as we continue to grow and mature. And Father, as this week is a week of traveling, and…and…and immersing ourselves in the land of the Bible, we pray for all of those who will be boarding planes and traveling far, and we pray for ourselves. We have to do the same thing, tonight. So, Holy Spirit, come cover in and among us, over all of the details, over all of the logistics, over all of the moving parts, as we navigate to another part of the world and immerse ourselves in the places that the Bible happened. We ask that You would change us, that this would mark us, that this would change us, irreversibly that we would never see the Bible the same again. Come, Holy Spirit, we pray into all of these coming days. Whether we are in the land or whether we are there, virtually as a community together, make this an important part of our journey, an important part of our year, an important part of our understanding of the Scriptures. We pray in the name of Jesus, we ask. Amen.
Prayer and Encouragements:
Good day, Daily Audio Bible community, my brothers and sisters. This is Kacey, the Single-Minded Plumber. I’m feeling inadequate, as a father. A lot of you guys know, when I first started listening and calling in, I was an alcoholic, my wife was an alcoholic. We were alcoholics for almost a decade raising children. And I was just hoping that some of you guys might help me pray to be a better father. Feeling lacking as a parent. And there is so much that I can’t do, that I can’t defend for the kids. I am just not good enough. But I know someone who is and I’m hoping you’ll ask the Lord if He could help me be a better parent. But I help, my brave boy Bradley, feel included in my family. And that my son Derek isn’t so mad a lot of the time, cause he sees me mad, lot of the time. And my daughters, Hannah and Heaven, don’t pursue gender dysphoria, cutting. Thank you, guys, I love you.
Good evening, this is Pray without Ceasing in Atlanta. Today is January 31st. I am finishing up the January 21st prayer and encouragement. I just wanted to reiterate for the others, who like me, missing and pray with and for the callers who cry and rejoice with the callers. And sometimes we just shake our heads because we have no words. We don’t’ always call in to let our family know that we are praying but we do call to God, the God of all possibility, on your behalf. And often we get to pray more than once when we hear someone else praying for you. So, I just wanted to let it be known that though you may not hear us, we are on the other side praying for you and thinking of you and caring about you and loving you from a distance. But we are here, we stand with Rosie, Great to be Free in Jesus, as she prays for the children. We stand with Sparky and Beloved as they pray for the parents. We pray for Duane, I mean, Duane from Wisconsin. And Valiant Val as she encourages us. We pray with Jonathan from Denver, as he prays for the students. So, we’re here, we’re not calling, we’re not, you know, recording, but we’re with you. Anonymous on Purpose, I’m with you. I’m praying for you. Amen. Love you guys.
I’m calling from Melbourne, Australia and I’d like to say, God bless you to all the DABers. Love listening to the word of God and hearing your testimonies and praying for the people who call. I’d like you to share with me please and pray for a Christian friend of mine who’s desperate at the moment. She’s a solo mum and the other day she walked into her garage and found her 28-year-old son ready to hang himself. He had a prepared noose. And she got there just in time. We really need prayer for her. Things are really quite desperate. I told her I was gonna ring you. She is a DABer herself. And so, I just know that with combined prayer it makes a difference. And God bless you all, thank you so much. The boy’s name is …
Hi, I’m calling to ask for prayer for my grandson Willem. He has autism, he’s non-verbal. He’s in the psychiatric hospital right now. But he’s going to start a new living situation on Friday, the 3rd of February. And I’m asking for prayer for God’s protection for his safety. For God to manifest His presence and His love to Willem. He’s not able to communicate well. And in this living situation isn’t successful, the next step is a facility two hours away. I love my grandson very much. I actually would like to have him here with me but that’s not a choice that’s available to me right now. So, please pray for Willem. I do pray for all of you every day. And I’m very thankful for the DAB. Thank you.
This is Road Toad. I was raised in a home where appearances were valued, where we never admitted to any wrongdoing, where we judged people of standards other than that of the Bible. Even though it is a Christian home. I struggle to overcome this, yet today. However, this weekend, my wife and I were in a public place. And I probably was not even consciously aware of what I was doing but looking at beautiful women. One of those women, saw me looking at her and looked at my wife and laughed. My wife is overweight. She’s a wonderful woman. She’s a Godly woman. I am the one who pails in her light. I regret this. I feel shamed this morning as I think about this and tell you. I struggle to not to even do this because, as I said, in our family, we didn’t want to admit, we ever done wrong. Don’t want to be looked at in that light. But I need prayer folks. And I listen to your prayers, and I listen to your words, and I know our nickname’s give us anonymity. So, would you pray for us please?

I Never Knew You
"Not everyone who says to me, 'Lord, Lord,' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, 'Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?' And then will I declare to them, 'I never knew you; depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.' (Matthew 7:21-23,)
"I never knew you."
I've studied these passages for some time and have come to a couple conclusions.
First, notice those being turned away are relying on what THEY have done to get them into heaven. 'Did we not do this? Did we not do that?'. They bring their works to the gate hoping to gain safe passage. If you come to the gates of heaven with hopes of anything besides Jesus getting you in you will be sadly mistaken. We tend to rely too much on ourselves and not enough on God even in our daily lives.
"I never knew you."
Second, he says he never knew them. This is very important. Because many people go about their lives claiming to know Jesus. But does he know them? What does it take to know anyone? What did it take for you to know your best friend? You spent time with them, talked to them, shared your thoughts, feelings and fears. Most importantly you learned from them, listen to them, spent time with them. Jesus doesn't just want you to know about him like you know about a celebrity. He wants to know you. He wants to have a relationship with you. Like you have with your best friend.
And this brings me to my next most important point. READ YOUR BIBLE!
People, Christians, go about their lives reading their Bible at the minimum they can. Oh they will pray everyday sure. They want God to hear all about their lives and problems. Don't get me wrong he wants to hear. But when are you people going to give him a chance to reply? Praying is you talking to God. Reading your Bible is God talking to you.
God has so much for you if you'd just take the time to get to know him. Truly know him.

31 Verses on the Strength of Your Words
Words hold immense power. They can build up or tear down, heal or hurt, inspire or dishearten. This concept is deeply embedded in Christian teachings, with the Bible offering profound insights into the influence of our speech. From the creation of the world to the impact on our daily lives, the scriptures emphasize the role of words in shaping reality and relationships.
In Proverbs 18:21, we are told, “The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” This verse underscores the dual nature of words—capable of bringing both positive and negative outcomes. Understanding this principle can transform how we communicate, encouraging us to use our words wisely.
In this article, we will explore 31 scriptures that highlight the power of words. Each verse will illuminate a different aspect of how our speech affects our lives and the lives of those around us. By reflecting on these scriptures, we gain insight into how to align our speech with God’s will, fostering a more loving and constructive environment.

31 Scriptures About the Power of Your Words
1. Proverbs 18:21
“The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit.”
This verse highlights the profound impact words can have on our lives and the lives of others. Our words can either build up or destroy, and we must choose to speak life and encouragement.
2. James 3:5-6
“Likewise, the tongue is a small part of the body, but it makes great boasts. Consider what a great forest is set on fire by a small spark. The tongue also is a fire, a world of evil among the parts of the body. It corrupts the whole body, sets the whole course of one’s life on fire, and is itself set on fire by hell.”
James compares the tongue to a fire, illustrating how a single comment can cause significant harm if not controlled.
3. Proverbs 15:1
“A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.”
This verse teaches that a soft and kind response can de-escalate conflicts, while harsh words only exacerbate tension.
4. Matthew 12:36-37
“But I tell you that everyone will have to give account on the day of judgment for every empty word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words, you will be condemned.”
Jesus warns that our words will be judged, stressing the importance of speaking with integrity and purpose.
5. Proverbs 12:18
“The words of the reckless pierce like swords, but the tongue of the wise brings healing.”
Reckless words can cause deep harm, but wise words have the power to heal and restore.
6. Ephesians 4:29
“Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.”
Paul instructs us to use our words to encourage and uplift others, rather than to tear them down.
7. Proverbs 21:23
“Those who guard their mouths and their tongues keep themselves from calamity.”
Being mindful of what we say can help avoid trouble and negative consequences.
8. Psalm 19:14
“May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.”
This verse is a prayer for our words and thoughts to align with God’s will, reflecting our desire to honor Him.
9. Proverbs 16:24
“Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.”
Kind and gracious words provide comfort and healing, much like the sweetness of honey.
10. Colossians 4:6
“Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that you may know how to answer everyone.”
Our conversations should be gracious and well-considered, adding value to our interactions with others.
11. Proverbs 10:19
“Sin is not ended by multiplying words, but the prudent hold their tongues.”
This verse warns against speaking excessively, which can lead to sin, and commends those who are wise in their speech.
12. Proverbs 17:27-28
“The one who has knowledge uses words with restraint, and whoever has understanding is even-tempered. Even fools are thought wise if they keep silent, and discerning if they hold their tongues.”
Restraint in speech reflects wisdom and understanding, while silence can often be mistaken for wisdom.
13. 1 Peter 3:10
“For, ‘Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech.’”
Peter emphasizes that loving life and experiencing good days are connected to speaking truthfully and avoiding harmful speech.
14. Proverbs 15:4
“The soothing tongue is a tree of life, but a perverse tongue crushes the spirit.”
Words that soothe and encourage bring life and vitality, while harmful words can crush the spirit.
15. Proverbs 26:20
“Without wood a fire goes out; without a gossip a quarrel dies down.”
Just as a fire needs fuel, gossip fuels conflicts. Eliminating gossip helps to quell disputes.
16. Titus 3:2
“To slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone.”
Paul advises against slander and encourages peace, consideration, and gentleness in our speech.
17. James 1:19
“My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.”
Being quick to listen and slow to speak can help prevent misunderstandings and conflicts.
18. Proverbs 27:5-6
“Better is open rebuke than hidden love. Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses.”
Honest, though sometimes painful, feedback from a friend is more valuable than superficial praise from an enemy.
19. Psalm 141:3
“Set a guard over my mouth, Lord; keep watch over the door of my lips.”
This is a prayer asking God to help control our speech and prevent us from saying things that could be harmful.
20. Matthew 15:11
“What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.”
Jesus teaches that our words, rather than our diet, are what truly reflect our character.
21. Proverbs 29:20
“Do you see someone who speaks in haste? There is more hope for a fool than for them.”
Speaking quickly without thought can be foolish and lead to poor outcomes.
22. Job 6:25
“How painful are honest words! But what do your arguments prove?”
Job reflects on the difficulty of receiving truthful feedback, even when it is beneficial.
23. Proverbs 22:11
“One who loves a pure heart and who speaks with grace will have the king for a friend.”
Graceful and pure speech can lead to favor and strong relationships.
24. Proverbs 30:32
“If you play the fool and exalt yourself, or if you plan evil, clap your hand over your mouth.”
This verse advises silence when tempted to act foolishly or deceitfully.
25. Ecclesiastes 3:7
“A time to tear and a time to mend, a time to be silent and a time to speak.”
There is a time for every kind of speech, including silence, depending on the situation.
26. Romans 14:19
“Let us therefore make every effort to do what leads to peace and to mutual edification.”
Our words should contribute to peace and the building up of others.
27. Proverbs 4:24
“Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips.”
This verse encourages us to avoid harmful or corrupt speech.
28. Psalm 34:13
“Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from telling lies.”
We are instructed to refrain from speaking evil and lying.
29. Proverbs 11:9
“With their mouths the godless destroy their neighbors, but through knowledge the righteous escape.”
The speech of the wicked can cause harm, while knowledge helps the righteous avoid such consequences.
30. Proverbs 24:26
“An honest answer is like a kiss on the lips.”
Honesty in our responses is as pleasing as a loving gesture.
31. Isaiah 50:4
“The Sovereign Lord has given me a well-instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed.”
God equips us with the ability to speak words of encouragement and support to those who are weary.
Conclusion
The Bible provides clear and powerful teachings about the impact of our words. From the creation of the world by God’s spoken word to the way our own speech affects our lives and relationships, scripture encourages us to use our words wisely and thoughtfully. By reflecting on these 31 scriptures, we gain a deeper understanding of how to harness the power of our words for good, aligning our speech with God’s purpose and fostering a more positive and loving environment. Let us be mindful of the words we speak, recognizing their potential to either build up or tear down, and strive to use them in ways that honor God and uplift others.

False Teaching in the Last Days
Tumblr media Tumblr media
1 The Holy Spirit tells us in plain words that in the last days some people will turn away from the faith. They will listen to what is said about spirits and follow the teaching about demons. 2 Those who teach this tell it as the truth when they know it is a lie. They do it so much that their own hearts no longer say it is wrong. 3 They will say, “Do not get married. Do not eat some kinds of food.” But God gave these things to Christians who know the truth. We are to thank God for them. 4 Everything God made is good. We should not put anything aside if we can take it and thank God for it. 5 It is made holy by the Word of God and prayer.
Christians Are to Grow
6 If you keep telling these things to the Christians, you will be a good worker for Jesus Christ. You will feed your own soul on these words of faith and on this good teaching which you have followed. 7 Have nothing to do with foolish stories old women tell. Keep yourself growing in God-like living. 8 Growing strong in body is all right but growing in God-like living is more important. It will not only help you in this life now but in the next life also. 9 These words are true and they can be trusted. 10 Because of this, we work hard and do our best because our hope is in the living God, the One Who would save all men. He saves those who believe in Him.
Paul’s Helpful Words to Young Timothy
11 Tell people that this is what they must do. 12 Let no one show little respect for you because you are young. Show other Christians how to live by your life. They should be able to follow you in the way you talk and in what you do. Show them how to live in faith and in love and in holy living. 13 Until I come, read and preach and teach the Word of God to the church. 14 Be sure to use the gift God gave you. The leaders saw this in you when they laid their hands on you and said what you should do. 15 Think about all this. Work at it so everyone may see you are growing as a Christian. 16 Watch yourself how you act and what you teach. Stay true to what is right. If you do, you and those who hear you will be saved from the punishment of sin. — 1 Timothy 4 | New Life Version (NLV) New Life Version Holy Bible Copyright © 1969, 2003 by Barbour Publishing, Inc. Ik nobody is probably gonna see this but heyyy, this is just me ranting so if anyone comes upon this .Make sure to use everything I say, as a reason for you to do your own research on this topic , cuz there's always a chance I might have either said something wrong or just forgot to point something out which was important 😗
One thing that happens alot of the time , is that certain words become perverted and lose their real meaning
And to make it clear , pervert doesn't always mean turning something innocent into something sexual
It basically means
To distort or corrupt the original course, meaning, or state of (something).
Or to lead (someone) away from what is considered natural or acceptable.
( This meanings are quite literally straight from Google lmao)
The main word I'm talking about is:
submit/submissive.
(This word is usually perverted into something sexual (Top or bottom) , or just what "level" you are (Someone is lower (socially) than someone else)
Which I find happening alot when it comes to the Bible
The Bible has used this word multiple times, but because people always pervert the words of the Bible ,and other people rather than doing their own research just listen to the same people who perverted the word in the first place, start deceiving themselves into thinking it's the truth so they can indulge in their shameful desires
Many people because of this end up getting the wrong idea on what the Bible teaches, and some even end up getting badly hurt due to peoples stupidity which always ends up with them severing their relationship with God
The Bible most of the time uses this word for the relationship between a women and a men,
Ephesians 5:21-22 NLT
[21] And further, submit to one another out of reverence for Christ. [22] For wives, this means submit to your husbands as to the Lord.
Our relationship with God
Job 22:21-23 NLT
[21] “Submit to God, and you will have peace; then things will go well for you. [22] Listen to his instructions, and store them in your heart. [23] If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored— so clean up your life.
Chronicles 30:8 NLT
[8] Do not be stubborn, as they were, but submit yourselves to the Lord. Come to his Temple, which he has set apart as holy forever. Worship the Lord your God so that his fierce anger will turn away from you.
Or even the government which God would appoint
Romans 13:1 NLT
[1] Everyone must submit to governing authorities. For all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by God.
[4] The authorities are God’s servants, sent for your good. But if you are doing wrong, of course you should be afraid, for they have the power to punish you. They are God’s servants, sent for the very purpose of punishing those who do what is wrong. [5] So you must submit to them, not only to avoid punishment, but also to keep a clear conscience
And many other relationships!
Ofc this is where the word 'submit' ends up becoming a "you are lower"
The ONLY time , it might have that meaning. Is when we submit to GOD (and even then that's still not what the Bible is trying to show, it has other verses for that) , because human beings in general are very much lower than GOD.
BUT , human beings are NOT lower than other human beings .
Matthew 23:8-9 NLT
[8] “Don’t let anyone call you ‘Rabbi,’ for you have only one teacher, and all of you are equal as brothers and sisters. [9] And don’t address anyone here on earth as ‘Father,’ for only God in heaven is your Father.
"All of you are equal as brothers and sisters" 🧐
Galatians 3:28-29 NLT
[28] There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus. [29] And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God’s promise to Abraham belongs to you.
1 Corinthians 7:3-5 NLT
[3] The husband should fulfill his wife’s sexual needs, and the wife should fulfill her husband’s needs. [4] The wife gives authority over her body to her husband, and the husband gives authority over his body to his wife. [5] Do not deprive each other of sexual relations, unless you both agree to refrain from sexual intimacy for a limited time so you can give yourselves more completely to prayer. Afterward, you should come together again so that Satan won’t be able to tempt you because of your lack of self-control.
(This is for the people that pervert the word submit, and try and to turn into something they can use to force others (usually women) to do stuff with them by guilt tripping them)
This quite literally shows that a REAL biblical relationship, should be equal and that both the partners should love eachother and try to make the other happy (and make sure to keep the other in check so they don't stumble into sin)
Biblical relationships are definitely not one-sided , both to love and to pleasure ( and also , stressing out the "unless you both refrain" part, even if it's for prayer)
ALSO I suggested that everyone makes sure to go and read the whole page maybe even the chapter for themselves so you guys can get a better understanding
Ephesians 5:33 NLT
[33] So again I say, each man must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband.
Galatians 6:1-3 NLT
[1] Dear brothers and sisters, if another believer is overcome by some sin, you who are godly should gently and humbly help that person back onto the right path. And be careful not to fall into the same temptation yourself. [2] Share each other’s burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ. [3] If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important.
"If you think you are too important to help someone, you are only fooling yourself. You are not that important." Lmao , wake up call for alot of people
It's important to realise that the true meaning of submit runs much deeper than "haha you lower, so you follow my every order"
The person you plan on submitting to ( GOD, your husband, a president) NEEDS to have the role of a person that LOVES you, and wants to do everything in his power to protect and take care of you .
- Husband loves his wife and children so he sacrifices himself if needed and provides for the house , the wife and the children? . Wife respects and loves the husband and uses what the husband provided to take care of the house and children
- Government provides for their country and tries to keep the citizens safe and healthy? . Citizens respect the government and try to obey the laws and help out in building a safer community (ofc this is more complicated stuff, but to point out . Even if the government is corrupt until you can move out , you have to obey the laws)
-GOD provides us with basically everything , loves us and sacrificed Christ for us to give us the comfort of eternal life with him?. We love and respect him and try to keep his commandments(which are there to either show respect for him, or to protect us) and rebuild a real relationship with him
(So far the only one that's kept the 'I love you so don't have fear and submit to me', is God , cuz Gods love never changes or will change unlike people )
So basically what I'm trying to explain is,
All humans are equal, we were just appointed different roles.
AND
God doesn't have favourites
Everybody is equal in the eyes of God , doesn't matter if you're a male , a female, a master , a slave, a king , a peasant, physically stronger , more intelligent, richer, more charismatic, talented , famous , maybe more knowledgeable , maybe you have more wisdom than someone else , ect.
You are still human, just like they are.
So you're not better or worse than someone else when it comes to choices, or in general rights.
You've got the same rights as others , It's just what you plan on doing with those rights thats important
Exp. If you choose to deny GOD, you end up in a place where GOD doesn't dwell in aka. Hell
If you choose to have faith in Christ and build a relationship with GOD, You go to a place where GOD dwells in aka. Heaven
Doesn't matter who you are, you have the same choice and the same outcome , even if the world says otherwise
You want help from Christ Jesus so you can get bailed out of jail?(hell) , well he'll help you out, and then you'll probably try not to end up in jail again, but either way even if you do Christ will help bail you out again if you want
You don't want help from Christ cuz you believe he won't be able to help you or you just straight up don't want his help for bail , or maybe you expect help from someone else (fake gods or even satan for some odd reason) only to end up realising that person never was able to help you and end up going to jail(hell)? , well than you get the consequences and rightful justice of all your choices and actions.
There's more but I feel like it'll be too long after 😬, btw I used the Bible app for all the references incase anyone wants to go and check out something themselves!❤️
May God bless y'all 🙏❤️ buh bye

GOSSIP
GOSSIP
Proverbs 26:20

There is no smoke without fire, they say, but some smokes are founded on a smothering ember set out of jealousy, anger, and prejudice. Gossip means malicious backbiting, slander, rumours, hearsay, and taletelling. At its best, gossip whispers dubious hints, repeat information, and turn the light on another person negatively. Although gossip is not listed as a deadly sin, I think it should because it’s a danger and sin.
What is gossip then? Gossip is to prattle, to chat unconstructively, to talk too much, to run about and tattle; to tell idle tales that are usually defaming and damaging according to Proverbs 18:8.
James 3:6 calls the tongue fire, it’s often the instrument of producing the most desperate contentions and insurrections. He goes further in verse eight to say it’s a restless evil and full of deadly poison. Contention is like fire, the flame blown up by talebearers and whisperers.
Gossip is usually half-truths or outright lies to throw doubts on the character of another person. When we gossip about somebody, we steal their reputation. Words unfortunately when spoken, can’t be unsaid, or recalled. With a single sentence or phrase and sometimes even with a look, we can ruin the reputation of another person according to Proverbs 11:9.
Gossip is lucrative and legal; newspapers, magazines and news run stories that are unfounded, untruthful, sometimes downright cruel, damaging, and destructive. But according to Leviticus 19:16, God specifically forbids gossip.
Gossipers make poor friends. Stay away from them.
Gossips are demolition experts, tearing others down to devalue them, they use gossip to make themselves look good whilst making someone else into who and what they want them to be.
Gossips speak of the faults and failings of others or reveal potentially embarrassing or shameful details regarding their lives without their knowledge or approval. Even if they mean no harm, it is still gossip, see Psalm 101:5.
Gossip puts us in the place of judging others by our standard but God says not to judge in Matthew 7:1. Rumours and opinions are not allowed in a court of law because they may unjustly sway the verdict of the jury but we turn our living rooms, bedrooms, offices, cars, even the church into a court when we sit in judgement over someone and allow rumours and personal opinions to colour and damage the reputation of others who may never have the chance to defend themselves.
Anyone can engage in gossip simply by repeating something heard in confidence. The book of Proverbs has an extensive list of verses that cover the dangers of gossip and the potential hurt it causes. Proverbs 11:12 says, a man who lacks judgment derides his neighbour, a man of understanding holds his tongue. A gossip betrays a confidence, but a trustworthy man keeps a secret.
Those who guard their tongues keep themselves from trouble according to Proverbs 21:23. So guard your tongue and refrain from gossip. If we surrender our natural desires to the Lord, He will help us remain righteous.
Before we open our mouths next time to say something nasty, mean, or untrue about another, pause and ask yourself if you'll like to be in that person's shoes.
As believers, we are meant to be peacemakers not dividers of friends according to Proverbs 16:28, which is what happens when we gossip. And even if you think you don’t gossip at all, ask yourself why the gossipers feel comfortable and confident to gossip others to you. Because they have heard you previously gossiping or that you never shut them up when they come bearing gossip tale.
Gossip is sweet but destructive, please keep your mouth shut unless it is necessary and appropriate to speak.
PRAYER: Lord, help me to refrain from pulling people down with my words and to mind how I speak of others but to always let my words be seasoned with salt in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Shalom
