yes I have been Cancelled repeatedly and no longer exist.

but no, I just don't draw much SP anymore. I had a tumblr for many years where i mainly goofed off with my friend and drew kyle in bizarre clothes i found on amazon + drew lots of explicit butthole penis dildo images, which were all so good. (the culture of tumblr was very different in 2013, half of all fandom blogs were posting nsfw art at no risk of catching controversy or facing moral judgment. it was a lot of fun and kept me sane(?) in school.) I deleted the blog when tumblr enacted the NSFW ban, since I didn't want anything to do with the site after that. for at least 3 years.

my friend keeps me updated on some SP fandom stuff happening on tumblr, but I'm completely checked out. i appreciate seeing that some people have been hunting out my old drawings from across tumblr, it's really cool. but I'm not interested in reposting my old stuff because most of it was drawn in conversation with other friends on the site, and makes not much sense without that context.

Like, not in a romance way at all, and not in a hawt way at all (with all respect to the Beav), but like -- when you talk about Dean and his many many bearded boyfriends, what you're really talking about his is incurable festival of daddy issues and his desperate need to please an older man (while trying hard to pretend that isn't his main goal) and his need to serve but more than that his need to be taken care of, and... who's a perfect right angle directly into all that stuff? Bobby Bobcephalus Singer.

Because of all of the above I don't think Dean is much of an impediment to this ship -- like, it is Very easy to construct a way where he'd go for it, which is always entertaining to me as an inveterate shipper -- so it's Bobby who's more of the puzzle. But... not that much of a puzzle? Especially once Dean was in his twenties and needing help and they're working late into the night and, yeah, Bobby has his weird 'they're kinda my kids kinda' attitude, but the important thing is they're not, not really, and anyway that seemed like more of a latter seasons re-envisioning on the part of the characters as much as it was a retcon for the show.

Tell you what though -- the way I always really wanted to do it was to have Bobby have genuine pedophilic tendencies that he strapped down with an iron will. Like -- maybe something happened with the priest when he was himself a kid -- maybe this is part of why he killed his dad -- maybe this is why he and Karen didn't have children, although she wanted to. But then there's this angelic blonde-ish kid in his house and there's a flash of -- what he can't think about -- and the horror after! But then... the kid's such a good kid, and he holds it together, and he watches the kid grow up strong and sweet-natured really and good, and... Dean was always his favorite. :)
