It's a box! Or more accurately a box made up of minor mistakes. Been working on improving my dovetails and trying out some extra flourishes with the lid and base. It's kinda a mini version of the school box described in the Joiner and Cabinet maker. (Which incidentally, the full sized one is next on my project list.).
Overall the base moldings ended up a bit too wide so it looks a tad awkward. Also I didn't want to spend anymore time finishing it so it likely needs another coat or two of shellac.
The wooden box with the triquetra symbol burnt on the inside of the lid. I painted the bottom of the box red. Louboutin shoes were the inspiration.

I also started another box, also decorated with clay here. Idk yet if I want to go with an ocean theme or a leaf theme or maybe even with a mushroom theme. All good possibilities... Hngh!
Anyhow, this was fun. I'm looking forward to make more boxes. MORE! Many new ideas came up already! ✨ (Thanks to Finya/lepuscraft)
Put together a simple box to act as gift wrap for the piano coatrack. I had tried making a cardboard box but that felt like it was too simple. Also as this is a wedding gift I'm thinking they could use this as a memories box and stamped their names on the top after I took my pictures. This was made in an evening with some random pine boards, nails, and a bit of hide glue.
