You know, I could just say "Queen II" and be done with it lmao. I think the only song that ended up on a GH album was Seven Seas Of Rhye which i don't like anyway lmao. Or 90% of John Deacon's songs that are not Another One Bites the Dust or I Want To Break Free lol.

5) Keep Passing The Open Windows. I like to see this one as the serious version of the irriverent Don't Try Suicide lol. Yeah sure joking about suicide is funny and all (I guess), but sometimes you need a heartfelt pep talk. It helps comforting me when I'm down :) also check out that bass line <3

4) In The Lap Of The Gods. I don't like the Revisited version all that much. But this one? With Roger sounding like he's descending from Heaven? And the live version where John is going ham on the bass? And that sweet guitar with that iconic Brian sound? Why does everyone ignore it? D:

3) Flick Of The Wrist. The older sibling of the slightly more famous Death On Two Legs, something about Freddie's vitriol and graphic description of his frustration gets me.

2) White Queen. I like that gimmick Freddie and Brian had at the beginning, with them representing black and white respectively - this makes this song Brian to his finest, a melancholic romantic. But of course, you can't talk about White Queen without mentioning the jawdroppingly beautiful live version, with the guitar and piano mixing together for something indescribable...

1) Mother Love. I can't listen to this song without sobbing like a baby. Even without knowing the context of Freddie being so close to his death that he couldn't even finish the song (and still belting out those notes, I get goosebumps), it's just so profoundly sad. It's in the sound of the guitar... It makes me nostalgic.
