Reading Batman: Son of the demon and crying over what we could've had,,,,,,they were so happy together,,,,,
And then getting absolutely devastated by these panels
I will never emotionally recover
#I hate Morrison. I will never forgive them for retconning Damians conception from this#Yeah Talia was wrong for telling Bruce she miscarried but she's clearly devastated by having to do it#and just the tragedy of them both wanting a happy life together and it not working#because batman was formed to stop children from having to lose their parents#but the tragic part is that by being batman bruce is putting his own child at risk of the exact thing he's trying to stop#Bruce knows that and is willing to give it up for his child and Talia knows it#and she's willing to give up her own happiness and chance at a family just to keep Batman existing#i'm not crying your crying#this comic always gets me sobbing i only went back to reread so i could collect these panels to reference for my animatic#also this is basically all the important brutalia moments from the comic so i hope this is helpful to people who haven't read it before#batman#batman son of the demon#talia al ghul#bruce wayne#ra's al ghul#dc comics#dc#tw miscarriage
