an unsent letter from Talia to Bruce

"There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about him. I wonder what he looks like. I wonder how his little voice sounds. And every morning, I think about going to him. I think about taking him back, and raising him myself."

This letter made me cry, I always thought that going back to the origins of the son of the demon something like this would have happened, Talia gave the child but she repented and got him back. I can't believe Damian found the letter, I wonder how him feel about this

Damian is NOT a morning person

What I don't understand is that I see so much content and read so many fics that have Damian waking up at like 5AM. Just because he's routine and skilled doesn't automatically mean he's an early bird- night owls are extremely productive too. Plus, the boy literally patrols at NIGHT. He takes shifts with his Gotham family throughout the night so Gotham is protected during it's most dangerous hours. And I'm not an expert on assassination but I find it hard to believe that they would strike in broad daylight unless it's a special hit, and even then would they do it in the early morning? Our favorite demon spawn probably learned how to kill using the night to his advantage and he was likely used to being up extremely late for that reason.

And I know in Son of Batman Alfred made a comment to Bats that Damian had been in the yard training since 5, but remember that he had traveled halfway across the world the night before from Nada Parbat to Gotham, so he was very likely just jetlagged.

Jon even makes fun of Damian's sleep schedule on multiple occasions because being a farm kid, Jon's used to waking up with the sun and he finds it funny that Damian hates waking up that early. Here's a panel from one of their comics (though I don't remember which one):

All I'm saying is that yeah, Damian being all stoic and regime and waking up at 5 is cool but inaccurate, but we are all missing the comedy that is the normally put together Damian being grouchy AF by nothing more than the existence of the sun in the morning. The boy hates the sun. Catch him anytime before 8 and he'll be on the verge of pulling a katana on it. Do NOT drag him out of bed in the morning unless you want to see an unfiltered side of him that's somehow even worse than what you usually get.

Anywho, I don't know how as a fanbase we all collectively looked at Damian what-is-curfew Wayne and decided that he's totally fine with being up before dawn. I'm sure somewhere in the DC universe he's seething because Duke accidentally dropped something in the manor and the crash woke him up at the ungodly hour that is 7 in the morning.

Jason Worrying About Damian

Jason is the first to notice Damian's disappearance in Robin Son of Batman #7. He even expresses worry over it, saying "I don't like it when Damian runs off. He's too wild."

It's likely that this concern is partly due to Jason seeing himself in Damian. Tim even inadvertently draws the comparison, replying with "coming from you, that's a good one."

In this phantom planet happened but they did not thank him they turned on him Dc and dp are in different dimension in this.

His parents managed to convince world leaders that phantom killed there boy and was just using Danny body. The world only agreed because they were terrified of his powers.

Jazz tried to convince them, they were wrong and he is Danny. Sam and tucker are trying to protect Danny and elli. I’d imagine all of Casper high backing Danny the a list did protect him when the whole gauntlet of reality happened.

When all is said and done the world took no prisoners. Danny, Ellie and vlad (he’s still hiding in space) are the worlds most wanted. Dani and Ellie were severely injured and hardly able to get away.

They wake up with frostbite and clockwork over them. The world is no longer safe but they can’t remain in the infinite realms they are half human. The obvious solution send them to a different dimension.

They were sent to dc and end up in Gotham. All they had was a thermos, Ellie took a lipstick laser gun, and some medical supplies from frostbite. Danny is pissed off and hurt he doesn’t want to hurt anyone but he only wants to protect his sister.

Danny was willing to steal enough money to get a shabby hotel room for a month or so to figure things out. He got to fake identity’s and a job at bat burger he may not like anyone but he doesn’t want to have to steal more then he has to.

Elli the little menace that she is still wants to help people. It’s her personal mission to annoy red hood until he puts up with her what’s he gonna do shoot a kid. She wants to avoid Batman both Danny and Ellie think he is a demon with bat powers. Danny cant stop Ellie so he just mother hens her. He would be ready for when they turned on them this time.

Red hood is just freaking out there is a child meta no older then 10 in Gotham just following him and beating up people. He’s not Bruce he doesn’t want to deal with this. Following this child calling herself spirit was harder to then he’d admit. She went from white hair to prime adoption bait and great she has an older brother no older then 15. How was he gonna keep the two pieces of adoption bait away from bruce and why did he feel calmer around them.

Besides worrying about Ellie Danny was doing just fine ignoring his problems. Working at bat burger was fine definitely not reminding him about the nasty burger explosion that lead to him abandoning humanity. There was a regular who would just stare at him like he was glowing.

Duke was freaking out.

By the time Jason got forced into a mandatory dinner the two adoption bait were there. He did get a warning from cass not to ask Danny about his past he was greatly hurt by whatever it is. Ellie immediately knew he was red hood the minute he walked in. He was definitely getting a lecture about not reporting meta children.

As time goes on Ellie gets more open and talks about her dimension, how it turned on them and talk about her hero phantom. She was just his clone how he saved her and she met Danny because of him . How he saved everyone in a town that hated him. How he saved the world and they turned on them. They were horrified but Bruce got two new kids and finally had one who wasn’t a vigilante who liked galas.

During a bad fight against a massive invasion were everyone was down. Danny was just watching from the bat cave as Ellie and his new family went down. Alfred just looks at him and hands him a mask asking if he was going to go help.

Danny does and takes names. He downs the threat in less then two minutes just grabs Ellie and Damian they were the most injured looked at Batman and said he was taking them. Then he starts to mother hen them at the batcave.

The league and Batman were now freaking out.

I want Damian to go on an adventure with his sister, Maya. He doesn't even need to take the title of Robin, just the two of them doing something together

Just Nobody and No One/Shadow/Ghoul/Ghost or whatever name Damian chooses in this adventure

everytime i think about damian and talia’s relationship i’m always reminded of the quote “mother and daughter are wretched mirrors of each other” and only now it hits me why.

not to say that they’re the same person but both characters have so many parallels regarding life events and certain world views as well as moral values. the most notable similarity that i’ve noticed is both of them are constantly trying to be more than their family legacy.

i would really appreciate it if someone can do a more in-depth analysis of this :)

In the first one, Bruce is in their luxurious bedroom for the first time and is awkwardly standing in his costume as Talia is behind a dressing screen and is changing into a white, satin négligée with lace detailing on it. She reminds him that they technically are married (and that she consented readily to it) but Bruce confesses, “I remember. But it's hard for me to consider that marriage real.” Talia emerges from behind the screen, looking as beautiful as ever as she walks up to him and eases his cowl off. She tells him, “Beloved, you give too much thought to what is ‘real,’ and what is not, to what is ‘true,’ and what is ‘false...’ I realize that is your way, but just this once, accept things as they are...” He strips himself of his clothes as they move to the bed—Talia laying on her back as he's between her legs. She continues to speak, “Forego your control, your discipline... just once, let yourself go... and take me with you.” Her arms slip around his neck as they kiss passionately.

The second panel is lineart of them against a white background. They look at each other lovingly, her hands reaching up to be on his shoulders as he holds her waist. The narration boxes read: ‘While still finding time to be a newlywed, a role in which he is quite unskilled... but—to his delight—quickly learns.’

In the third panel, several weeks have past. Bruce and Ra's al Ghul are walking before Talia interrupts and asks her beloved for a word. Bruce starts to ask if it can wait, due to him and Ra's discussing an important mission but she tells him it cannot. Ra's reassures, “Go, detective, we shall speak of this later.” Bruce and Talia pull away to talk in private, the background a beautiful, bright ombré of red and yellows. She has her arms up on his shoulders as he holds her waist and starts to ask, “Now, Talia, what's so impor—” but she quickly shares, “Beloved, I am with child.” Bruce starts to repeat her but Talia already confirms again, “I am pregnant.” She continues to look up at him, patiently waiting for his response as Bruce stares straight ahead, obviously in shock. He slowly repeats the words back to her in an attempt to register them, “You're... pregnant?” Before he suddenly beams! He pulls her into a tight, close embrace as he excitedly announces, “That's wonderful!” Talia smiles at him and says, “Isn't it?” Before her father can shake Bruce's hand with his own warm smile. Bruce still holds Talia's hand as Ra's tells him, “Detective, Dr. Weltmann could not keep this from me. My congratulations.” END ID]

Talia Al Ghul in Batman: Son of the Demon

At this point in the story Talia tries to save Batman's life which resulted in him telling her that he wants her to stay safe and keep their unborn child safe.

After both seeing Batman's recklessness with his own life and hearing him state that his only priority was keeping her safe to Ra's Al Ghul Talia decides to fake a miscarriage with the goal of not having Batman get himself killed protecting her and their child.

At the end of the comic after a nine month time skip you see the child at an orphanage being adopted, he holds the jewellery Batman gifted Talia early in the story

Originally there was going to be another chapter to this story following Bruce and Talia finding their son but it was never written by DC, the story was later adapted to create Damian Wayne
