Mammon is that shadowy cryptid you can only ever capture blurry pictures for. And then you receive a bill in the mail charging you for said picture. Basically urban legend status. There's a rumor going around if you take a picture of this strange cloaked person you will in fact go bankrupt.

Colonello is that strange inhuman creature that fell in love with the government agent lady who watches him. People assume he's from a super soldier program. Like some kind Marvel bs with Winter Soilder or Captain America or the DC version of that, Deathstroke. He's clearly human but also not.

Luce, Aria, and Yuni are 110% the most normal out of all of them, tho. Definitely not decents of a secret race of non humans that existed pre-humans. Nope, those girls are humans 💚

i think its really silly seeing ppl get worked up over yuni having two sets of ears [the human ones and the cat ones] cuz like. yeah i get it. it doesn't make sense when they design characters like that. most of the time at least.

i feel like in the context of yuni its actually a really funny design choice and does make sense. getting into her head here for a second but consider: as a shapeshifter, shes trying so hard to blend in and yet. she cant quite nail that transformation all the way so now shes just stuck with four ears. like whats weirder. trying to blend in as a human without human ears or just choosing to have both. she probably had to make that decision herself, and what they went with in the show is much easier to pass off without too many questions being asked yknow. its a look that works out in fits like blue cat and mao, where she can just cover up her cat ears with a hat. no one would suspect anything since one set of ears is technically accounted for. but i guess in any other situation with no hat, its a little strange, but shes trying ok. the narrative does notice this and makes fun of her for it lol

it would have been cool if trying to blend in was incorporated a little bit more in the show, seeing that lala also struggles with it. but i do feel there is a bit of suspension of disbelief when it comes to lala and yuni trying to blend in as earthlings. also seeing yunis shapeshifting ability utilized more in general would have been cool but thats a different topic.

idk its all very funny to me, and the fact they make fun of her in the show for being an inexperienced shapeshifter and her first reaction is to get all embarrassed only adds to the fact that she is trying So Hard to be cool and flawless. if anything it only adds to her character. so yeah. i think its a silly justified design choice.

I'm drawing Yuni's character sheet and I've been pairing him with Cass since forever, but the longer I think about it the more I'm leaning towards matching him with Josie in my fic.

It'd also break that accidental 'both have the same class' theme I have going on with the whole sibling trio, and also would fit Yuni's endgame situation a lot better. I don't know much about her romance scenes but I know they're cute and there's a duel and this sappy elf absolutely would do that.

since I seem to be in a gbf rambling mood today, I guess I'll talk about Makura while I see if my light team can fa solo Osiris without much issue.

Ngl when I got hit mid-last year, I had no idea how to use her at all. I guessed that given the double strike and skill damage, you weren't supposed to use her in a kengo team, but god was I so wrong. Having a character with increased hostility gain dodge all every turn is something I have only felt when I used Seox. And then I pass that on to Summer Monika for two skill nukes and a delay on dodge, a sub-all, perma double strike and thunderstruck support and I'm absolutely thriving. (Solo went off without a hitch btw.) Add in Cosmos and Yuni and Monika will never not ougi. Love it. She's so fun to play.

What would a Neera dating sim be like?

IT REALLY!!! DEPENDS ON THE PERSON IF IM BEING HONEST!!

I was literally yapping about it with Scribby last night but Neera's dynamic can be soooo different depending on the person she's with because she is very reactionary

In the literal sense of a dating sim, I'm sad to say it would be a hard mode, no saves game you make a bad choice you cannot take it back

BUT LIKE!! Even if you're verbally antagonistic to her that does not cross out the option to date her (or fuck her if you manage the fwb route) BECAUSE WHAT SHE CARES ABOUT IS THE PHYSICAL ASSAULT otherwise she'd probably not hate whitney

BUT FOR LIKE Yunie, who she canonically has a crush on no matter what, ofc Neera would always help her out even if Yunie came to her to satisfy her sexually, Neera would. But romantically? Neera is taking her crush to her grave because she knows she couldn't make Yunie happy. And she's fine with that, because she's not the type to be upset if Yunie was with someone else, as long as Yunie is happy and not in danger. (In Brooke/Yunieverse it is sooooo complicated for her, but I'll get into that another day bc this was not the ask)

For Neera, getting into a relationship with her is about either her allowing you to cross her boundaries or you carefully crossing her boundaries (or in Wren's case, crossing her boundaries without her realizing) She wants a "normal" relationship in the sense of, having a significant other you love and trust. And she doesn't believe that's possible for her. She doesn't believe she can let her guard down enough to ever have that with someone, so she's accepted the fact that she won't EVER have it.

IN THE CASE OF HER AND DELILAH HOWEVER its all three of those somehow. Delilah houdinied her way into Neera's heart, and Neera is not hackles up about it because its literally Delilah. Neera has always cared about her and eventually it turns to love and she wants to be the one to protect her and care for her and make her happy. With Delilah, Neera on a daily basis *proves to herself* internally that she can be WANTED and not *needed.

robin -> elsie feels indebted to her. they have an odd relationship of caretaker (or protector)/victim that is reversible. robin is older than elsie and used to look out for her, though in monetary means, elsie is the one taking care of it.

it's created a relationship where robin is incapable of finding fault or able to express any negative feelings towards elsie she might have. each other's therapists, unfortunately.

elsie -> robin genuinely cares but doesn't truly feel anything romantic towards robin. wants her to be well yet isn't emotionally available or exactly around a lot of the time. guard dog that doesn't fully understand play or how to comfort, finds robin's trauma suffocating yet understands no one else can truly be there for robin that isn't her

(c!)sydney -> elsie fully infatuated and in love. have been close since they were children, even more so than robin was given elsie was a fellow churchgoer. unaware of elsie's less legal skill-sets, jobs, or even understands who she really is, but her acceptance of whom he is made him very happy (or so he thinks, at the very least) thinks she's smart and hardworking, unaware of all things orphanage.

elsie -> (c!)sydney while elsie wasn't religious before being orphaned, jordan's care as well as the environment of the temple made her fond of the whole thing. reconnected with sydney as she often stayed late in the school library to avoid going back to the orphanage. finds sydney cute and endearing, someone fond and nice to be around. isn't sure if this is love, but it's the closest thing to the real deal, right? thinks it's funny to tease him lol

kylar -> elsie obsessed with elsie when she rescued her from bullies. pictures her as this perfect fairytale prince, yet someone who couldn't possibly do any wrong and needs kylar to care and protect her. it's constant contradictions with how she thinks of elsie. fawns over her all the time. ignores elsie's questionable jobs and thinks she'd make both the perfect stay-at-home wife who could hone her gardening skills without issue, yet pictures her as the ideal breadwinner whom would spoil her without complains. deeply jealous of the fact she seems to be busy most often than not, and chooses to ignore the potential fact elsie might be cheating on her. her darling isn't capable of something so scummy like that, right?

elsie -> kylar deeply, deeply afraid of kylar ever since she saw her to be the one stalking her and stealing her clothing. only got closer to her out of a fear of any potential danger kylar could do to her. finds her pitiful and pathetic above anything else, nowadays, or even a bit of a burden. nonetheless, likes her enough as to keep her around. she's useful, too, after all. learns to stay quiet and let kylar do whatever she wants long enough as to not make her cause troubles in her routine.

whitney -> elsie sexually obsessed with someone whom seems unobtainable. doesn't fully understand her. both tries to subdue her through sexual attempts as well as awkwardly hanging out with her outside of school when he catches her sneaking out at night. weird relationship where they are begrudging equals. whitney is the closest to knowing elsie as she is, yet is emotionally inept as to not say anything about it.

elsie -> whitney finds him deeply, deeply irritating. fought nail and claw anytime he tried to accost her, to the point she'd rather jump the fence, or use the secret tunnels to avoid him whilst leaving school. figured that if she were nice to him, maybe he'd return the favour. ended up accidentally becoming his girlfriend in his eyes. has no clue what to do about it. they 100% fuck (whitney thinks it's because they are in love. elsie because she is, very unfortunately, attractive to him). (she wants him to stop calling her a slut. that implies people pay her.)

also, to clarify: elsie doesn't have a main li nor does she really consider any of them her one true partner lol. it's not cheating for cheating's sake, she sees it as wanting to please/make most of the main hindrances in her life happy and make the most out of her relationships for her facilitated survival

doesn't even truly sees it as cheating because she has a wack sense of romantic love aye. isn't ever touching eden, gh, or bw ever sorry she values her autonomy all too much for them

What canon character does your OC respect a lot?

She would never actually admit it but it’s Sephira! However, in true [Redacted] fashion, unable to properly express (or understand) her true feelings or thoughts, this kinda manifests and comes out as jealousy! Quite spiteful jealousy in fact! I hope to explore this better once the time comes so I won’t go into too much detail right now. But luckily Sephira is one of the few people very good at reading [Redacted] so she never takes it personally and even thinks it’s quite cute.

There are a lot of people Apple eventually comes to view and love as family! To give a quick list:

Canon Characters: Fon, Dino, Tsuna, Yuni, Leon (yes, I am including him he’s family to her), and… someone else who I won’t name ❤️ (As for why Luce and Aria aren’t here but Yuni is it’s a little complicated but they both go into the platonic section of love rather than familial)

For OCs: Kanako, and Kurumi (who both belong to @einsatzzz) (yes Kana better believe that means you too 😤 no please don’t look at me with the tan/jiro cringe face 🥹 /lh /j), Momina (who belongs to @dreamieparadise), and Laurel and Cecil (Who both belong to @steamworksfairy). How does your OC feel about Bianchi?

This portion is gonna be a bit of me rambling about canon for a bit so please bear with me!!! (I’ll put it under the cut) 

(FEEL FREE TO SKIP THIS PORTION IF YOU DON’T CARE ABOUT MY THOUGHTS AND JUST WANNA READ ABOUT THE APPLE AND BIANCHI DYNAMIC. I’LL TELL YOU WHERE YOU CAN START READING AGAIN)

So! For those who know me know I like to keep my work as canon compliant as possible and though in my story I do make some changes (as one naturally needs to do when adding in an OC to a work. Some changes like this one are minor but there are some large changes too) I still try my best to adhere to this where I can. That being said, here’s what stays the same in In Somnis. Bianchi is still in love with Reborn! And still pursues him to Japan and all the good canon stuff we all know and love happens. The thing that’s different is how the relationship between them is handled! 

In my personal opinion I never really interpreted the relationship as one Reborn took seriously. I always interpreted it as Reborn is mostly humouring her and saying she’s his mistress to get a reaction out of Tsuna because that’s what he loves doing. Not to mention the relationship does such a disservice to Bianchi down the line like it’s funny and all for the first two arcs but Bianchi!!! You can’t tell me she wouldn’t rip off someone's arm for one of the watches in the final arc!! She would absolutely fight for her someone she loves and to not have her do so is not a good look for her character!! Anyway, apologies I just have a lot of thoughts about her lol.

However, in In Somnis (and I feel comfortable going into detail about this since I don’t know if I’ll be able to cover this in detail when the time comes) Reborn would, of course, not be calling Bianchi his mistress (except he absolutely tells Tsuna she’s one of his many admirers to still get a reaction out of him lol). In fact, from the very beginning when Bianchi pursues Reborn he always tells her he can’t take her as his lover as he already has one. But nevertheless she pursues him anyway because Bianchi isn’t one to back down!!!

The June Bride chapter/episode proceeds as normal except at the end Tsuna asks Reborn if he really plans on marrying Bianchi and Reborn answers that he doesn’t since he already has a lover (Tsuna: stop saying that!! Who the hell would date a baby!?). Bianchi is upset by this but once again says she isn’t giving up because her feelings of love are true and unwavering. And Reborn responds that his (for his lover) are as well. And that’s when it kinda sinks in that he’s not gonna return her affections and she’s rather heartbroken but she gains respect for him in a different way. She views his devotion and loyalty with admiration and only grows to respect him more since one thing she hates is disloyal men (since she got cheated on before and all). She ends up accepting reality gracefully even if she tells him she’ll always love him. Because at the end of the day Bianchi loves love ❤️

(THE ACTUAL BIANCHI AND APPLE PORTION STARTS NOW. I’M SO SORRY FOR RAMBLING SO MUCH BUT ALSO THANK YOU TO ANYONE WHO ACTUALLY CARED ENOUGH TO READ ALL THAT)

When Apple first meets Bianchi she is immediately on guard since she knows Bianchi is in love with Reborn so that’s gotta spell trouble for her (not to mention she’s a highly skilled assassin). And Bianchi definitely plays into it a bit, but mostly because she wants to test Apple to see if her love is as pure and true as her own, and if she’s worthy of all the devotion Reborn has shown her. So the two don’t get off on the best foot since they both go into the relationship immediately assuming the worst of each other’s intentions. But once they get past that first hurdle it’s a pretty smooth friendship! In Apple’s opinion Bianchi is still a little too intense for her at times but she respects her a lot as a person and as a fellow Reborn simp! So all that to say, Apple quite likes Bianchi and considers her someone she enjoys chatting, and occasionally hanging out with!

Plot Bunny of little Astrotrain talking to Blitzwing, trying to convince his papa that being a system is okay. Blitzwing has issues with it, considering it was forced upon him, and has trauma associated with it. Astro is little and doesn't understand, but he knows his papa feels uncomfortable with himself, he argues with his alters too much to be comfortable...so Astro wants to help. He loves his papa, regardless of which 'face' is fronting at the moment, because he loves all of his papa, whether Hochrot, Kühl, or Komisch (Komi) is facing that day, and it's okay.
