Astrotrain x Reader

• Ow. Coming to, you muzzily lift a hand to touch your face, tasting blood. And it feels like you got clocked with a baseball bat as you stare uncomprehendingly at the leaves above you swaying slightly. Still in the woods. Why are you on the ground? Suddenly remembering the giant monster and your head turns, skin crawling. Because it’s right there, staring at you with a frown. Lunging to your feet, you run and only make it several feet before you yelp and go down on your face. Looking back to see a rope around your ankle, the other end pinched between his servos and he’s laughing. Like your face plant in the dirt and leaves is the funniest thing he’s ever seen.

• Laughing as you roll and claw at the rope around your ankle, he drags you closer and you go still when he leans over you, planting a hand near your head. “I have a proposition, human. I can squish you flat or you can entertain me and continue to live,” he says, one corner of his mouth twitching as you stare at him, eyes widening. “Your choice.” And you glance at the Constructicons nearby working making him wonder if you think they might save you. They’ve got their own human already and he doubts they care about any human but theirs.

• Entertain him? Thinking of the way he’d laughed when you’d fallen, you slowly stand up. Aware of the rope around your ankle, you run in a circle and pretend to trip over your own feet, falling with a dramatic gasp to go sprawling. And he’s laughing. The giant monster apparently finds pratfalls hilarious like a big, metal toddler. Staggering to your feet, you hook a foot under the rope and yelp when you go down again. Because making a fool of yourself if it means not getting squished? Your dignity can take the hit.

• Chuckling as you get up and dart away, he watches you pretend to run into a tree and fall backwards. Obviously faking it, but so committed to the act that it’s almost admirable. ‘You taking that one with you?’ Long Haul asks and he frowns at the Constructicon. Realizing they’re done for the day. ‘I know someone who’s been thinking of finding a human,’ the mech adds and Astrotrain bends to grab you. “This one’s mine,” he growls, wings flaring as much as they can.

• What? “You said you’d let me go if I entertained you,” you protest, squirming against his slightly, too tight grip. ‘I never said that,’ he counters. And your heart is racing, because you’d assumed he’d let you go when he left. Not take you with him. And he’s following more alien robots in green and purple that look like they have bits of construction equipment built into them. Spotting another human’s head pop up to stare at you from the scoop hanging on the back of one of them, you struggle. “Hey! Help me!” You yell and they glance at the giant holding you, but another of the green and purple aliens reaches and gently nudges them back down out of sight.
