Note
But the Zora in OoT are River Zora, not sea Zora. The ones that were Sea Zora are the ones in Majora's Mask. Either were there is the very possibility that the goddesses that sent the flood also made it so that the Zora could not swim through it to keep them from finding the sunken Hyrule.
River Zora as in the subspecies, not as in “they live in the river.”
River Zora, as commonly named, look like this
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Note the difference in head shape and the presence of claws. Some iterations have them looking even more monstrous.
Tumblr media
These Zora can spit fireballs, and are notably violent-tempered in Zelda lore. They’re only encountered as enemies to kill in the majority of their appearances, with the notable exception of A Link Between Worlds.
Sea Zora, as commonly named, look like this.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They’re generally friendly to outsiders, and, with a few exceptions, have fish/shark tail ponytails, a fin framing either side of their face, and gills along their ribs. They can manipulate water and most often use spears to fight.
The name is most likely in reference to the fact that they look like sea creatures—namely dolphins and sharks—and to differentiate them from the aforementioned River Zora, who appeared first in Zelda 1.
Tumblr media
Ocarina of Time was the debut of this body type. Note the tail head, the fins on the arms and hips, and the shape of their form.
Tumblr media
The Indigo-Gos have more variation to them, but three of them (Lulu, Mikau, and Japas) are very much the same type of Zora as the ones we see in OoT. Toto (on the far left) looks similar to the OoT King Zora, and Tijo (third from the left) is the same kind of subtype (being a ray) as Muzu and Yona from BotW and TotK, respectively. They all have the same sea blue, and are meant to parallel OoT like the rest of Termina is.
Except Evan (pianist on the right). I have no idea what’s up with him.

Looking forward to play most of the game with Link's traditional look, which is awesome.

Sacred Guides: Hyrule’s Christmas DX Part 2
Tumblr media
A new edition of Sacred Guides is up, and we finish the Holiday season off with part 2 of Hyrule’s Christmas DX. I hope everyone had a great Christmas this year as we now reflect on things with New Year’s approaching. As a new year ends, we start getting back to our usual routine of non-holiday events. Sure we have Valentine’s Day and St. Patrick’s Day, but these are holidays one can skip over if they want. Even Easter is another example anyone that has no beliefs can pay no mind to. However, the Wintery Holidays has something that can either be celebrated as a religious or national events depending on the individual. Some of us still have our childhood memories of receiving video games as gifts. There are even moments where most would look for that familiar square box design that the Golden Age Era came packaged in. For the Guide it is something I kept putting off for four years when Sacred Realm Tower was a separate site. It was the constant switching between the main website and the sister one that kept me away. For once I actually finished the second part to this Quest because switching between sites in the editor wasn’t a pain anymore. It was the same thing for some of the other quests I covered as a part 2 to Ballad of a Bloodline was never published. Fortunately, I saved all my notes to write part 2 and even have the captures ready to use. Eventually, the other parts will get written once there is enough time for me to do them. The guide that is being covered has the player continue exploring the village as we tackle the last two dungeons to save Christmas. Hyrule’s Christmas DX Part 2

My boyfriend (a YouTube/streamer known as BikdipOnABus) and I have been working on a game together (Bikdip’s Adventure 3) for a while, and we just put out this showcase of our work so far, which is basically the “prologue” for the game (though it’s pretty long for a prologue and more like a chapter of its own). It uses the Zelda Classic engine, specifically the 1.92 version, which was released in 2001 and is extremely limited in its features and capability, but has just enough to be able to squeeze some pretty impressive results out of it with a lot of mechanical trickery and elbow grease. If you’re interested in Zelda-like games, game dev, or just people pushing old/outdated mediums and systems to their limits, I encourage you to give it a look! We're really proud of what we’ve done so far and hope to continue to make good progress to show to everyone following the game’s development and supporting us and hopefully have a quality game at the end of it.

💗 A Classic Romance 💗
Tumblr media
Happy very-last-minute Valentines Day! I figured everyone would be posting TotK Zelink, so here's classic to throw off the theme! :) I'm not as content with it as I want it to be, but I at least got the composition (inspired by like 5 old paintings I've had to look at recently). I used way too many brushes. Expect me to redraw this or even edit this post until I'm satisfied with it...
Program Used: Ibis Paint

Sacred Guides: Hyrule’s Christmas DX Part 1
Tumblr media
I have an old edition of Sacred Guilds to show, and it is when I posted a walkthrough of Hyrule’s Christmas DX in December 2018. There was a reason I started Sacred Guides back then and it was a chore to watch let’s plays of these quests. We the Zelda Classic users were either stuck with that or had to search PureZC forums to find out any detail about cryptic level design. I even posted a comment on a video of a Let’s Play in the Origin quest about how to progress in the second dungeon. It always made me wonder why no one created a walkthrough database for ZC because sites like PureZC could use something like that here. While these cryptic designs mostly come from NES style adventures, sometimes it is good to have something to find and progress. Unless you want to bomb every wall and burn bushes one could find that has no indication is the only way to know anything. Now, the guide itself continues our holiday countdown because this is a short quest to cover. However, the cryptic design from Ballad of a Bloodline is still used here to find the things needed in Myra's adventure. That is where this walkthrough is here, so you don’t stress on missing something. It’s the reason one could miss the slash ability if they don’t know there is a hidden tree in BOAB. The purpose of these NES designed secrets is to keep the concept of figuring progress out for yourself—There is a place for difficult games to exist otherwise we wouldn’t have the Dark Souls series. However, a hint in the form of discoloration or a slight difference in a tree and rock is placed would still be nice to have. Let’s continue the holiday countdown with the first part to Hyrule’s Christmas DX. Hyrule's Christmas DX Part 1

Seriously, huge applause to OG Link for fighting Lynels at the age of 10. Adding sketch version because I always like the sketch better. I mess up as soon as I start colouring lol.
