It says a lot that Icarus doesn’t even really try to lie anymore

They didn’t lie when Rae gave them the book from Centross

They didn’t lie when talking to Athena

The only person they’ve lied to is recently is Fable

Because they might not have the energy to lie to Rae or Athena, but they know that if they don’t lie to Fable, they could end up dead

Rae and Ulysses conversation about the ship of Theseus got me thinking about Icarus again.

Just. How many pieces can quixis take out and replace and *break* before 'Icarus' is no longer Icarus, and is just. someone else entirely? (How much does quixis get to break and break and replace and change before Icarus goes back to being Sherbert because 'Icarus' doesn't exist in whole anymore?)

Look I'm just speaking for myself, but it's a crime that mango ice cream isn't more widely known or made (at least in the US, no idea about other places). Guys i think so hard about c!Sherb/Icarus and their wings. Like in season one they first got the wings while corrupted and saw them as like a cool think to have and a useful tool, then after being un-corrupted they didn't want the wings because it felt wrong to have something from Enderian and they wanted to get rid of anything from that time. Then in season two I feel like is where the wings really started to feel like a part of them they rarely ever took off the wings and started to fly more, and by late/end of season two it was back to being like a normal thing to have wings, everyone had them and they really started to become birb. Then theres season three, they got the birb ears and was birb even without the wings but they missed the wings because it felt like a part of them and when they finally got the wings back they were so relieved and happy. They got a bunch of birb friends and were known for being birb, it was the whole bit. And then quixis took away their wings, a process that not only hurt physically but emotionally as well. And they were too hurt to get the wings back. They had to re learn how to live without the wings, without a part of them. And they were scared to get them back because it might happen again but they also really wanted them back because they felt weird without them. And also like they said it's would feel weird getting a new pair of wings, it would be like getting into a new relationship and they needed to be ready. AND THEN THEY GOT THE WINGS BACK AND THEY NOW HAVE BEEG WINGS AND IM SHBEJSISBNW I'm so normal /sarc

okay but how did I fall for the exact same bamboozle again— (spoilers for the newest thunder junction story)

for my agents of artifice enjoyers out there, the book starts for kallist’s POV (who is actually just Jace but we don’t know that yet), and there’s a scene where Kallist makes an illusion and I remember thinking “oh cool! Kallist can make illusions too- Jace probably taught him or something-” only for it to be revealed that he was JUST JACE the WHOLE TIME and that’s why he could do that.

now here I am, reading the outlaws of thunder junction story, minding my business and in episode 3, oko’s whole game gets a telepathy link from ashiok and I remember thinking “oh okay sure that makes sense, ashiok can go into dreams and stuff so going into minds make sense sure” only for it to JUST BE JACE YET AGAIN.

you think I woulda thought more about that but hey- im never gonna be upset about getting Jace/Vraska content so I’m living for it-

Thinking about how people use Sherbert to refer to Icarus instead of Icarus

How Athena tells Rae that they care about Sherbert, and how he calls Icarus Sherbert when telling them that this is the same as ominous bane

How Violet tells Fernris that he believes in Sherbert (later adding Icarus, but at first calling them Sherbert)

How Rae called them Sherbert when asking them to realize that Fable is in the wrong

And how all of this shows how people view Sherbert and Icarus differently

People view Sherbert as kinder, a lot of them know Sherbert as their friend as someone who cares about people and who people care about,

But a lot of them also noticed the sharp difference in Icarus’ behavior as soon as they started going by Icarus, as soon as Fable started to be a part of their life

thinking about how whatevers killing/hurting quixis (be it void or just the worldport decaying in general) went for their eyes *first.* the piece that distinguishes all the sherbs, makes them a *sherbert* and not someone else, and it went for that *first.* thinking about it. thinking about it so hard.

ms paint doodle interaction comic between archie and frostbite - this had a lot of dialogue so i lost motivation to write it. is also unmotivated to just draw a fic and wants to draw character expressions. sad.... this prolly will never be finished but i may make a shorter version.

whatever angst/vent this was gonna be...? stuff i probably wouldnt post anyway but i think the concept of this is cool.

dr sherbert gadgetmaker! my second toon ive ever made after getting back into toontown this year. originally his last name was icepop in ttr, i think. then i went. no. you gotta be more inspired by GARY THE GADGET GUY!!!!!!!! :3 anyways i cant figure out his design at all im struggling very badly! like with all my other toon designs, i think the flesh mouth is gonna GO !
