Fandom
What is fandom?
Tumblr media
Was there ever a movie that you really liked or an artist whose songs you can’t stop listening to all the time? When you feel a sense of belonging through the enjoyment of any aspect of popular culture, that is fan culture. Fan culture aims to connect people through content related to one’s interest to build a community (Liao 2021).
Types of fandoms
Tumblr media
There are many kinds of fandoms out there based on the chosen aspect of popular culture, be it sports, music, movies or books. In terms of music, one of the biggest fandoms that exist currently is the kpop fandom. Korean idol groups like BTS and Blackpink have an extremely large following around the world, with their fans having their own fandom names such as "A.R.M.Y" and "Blinks" respectively (Moon 2020) (Vincent 2019). In terms of books and movies, one of the most famous fandoms would be the Potterhead community, which is the term for fans of the Harry Potter series.
Toxic fan culture
Tumblr media
Despite being able to build strong communities through the existence of fandoms, the bad side of fandoms is that toxic fan culture does exist. Fans can tend to go overboard for their idols, as can be seen by Chen Xue, who is a diehard fan of Luo Yizhou, a famous Chinese idol. Her daily routine consists of her checking social media for the latest news on her favourite idol and constantly listening to their music to elevate his chart and social media rankings. She would even go the extra mile to spend all her savings to go and see them live or buy their merchandise because being able to do everything to support her favourite idol will make her happy. There have also been other incidents that involve obsessive fans resorting to illegal activity just to support their favourite idols, or even underage fans stealing their parents' money just to get theri hands on official merchandise (Xinhua 2021).
That being said, fan culture can be an incredible thing for uniting people and building a strong sense of commmunity but there needs to be boundaries when it comes to supporting your fandom.

"Everybody say NO..."
Tumblr media
Dear A.R.M.Y., today we have something a little more serious to talk about. And it's a delicate subject. But one that we think really has to be addressed, not only for our boys, but the long term ramifications, as well.
While we want to always be grateful for any accolades BTS is given, the process being used by MTv this year is not actually an accolade but a segregation. It's xenophobia or at its base, racism. Those are strong words to be used at any time, but it really is the basis of what MTV has done by creating a "kpop" category. And this is the only way they'll award Korean groups?
BTS stands for the exact opposite of what MTv is doing with this category. BTS and ARMY are about breaking down barriers, overcoming prejudices. South Korean President Moon Jae In said, "At the very heart of BTS' outstanding dancing and singing is sincerity. This magical power turns grief into hope and differences into similarity. Each of the seven members sings in a way that is true to himself and the life he wants to live. Their melody and lyrics transcend regional borders, language, culture, and institutions." If only MTv could understand. They are merely a tv channel, that is discriminating against an entire population, again. Whether at the behest of advertisers or corporate heads, it's not important. What is important is that hopefully, we can let them know this was never ok.
This may all sound a bit grandiose, but if you look around, we're fighting battles for equality and humanity all over the world. And one way to silence these voices is to silence BTS. ARMY, we've done it until now and we'll continue to stand with them and fight for each others' dreams.
Write to MTv. Maybe it's a short, appropriate tweet on twitter, a letter to them, or an email, let's voice this. Let them know our disagreement with what they're perpetuating. This is not okay in one country, or one awards show. Meanwhile, we're watching for other ways to speak out against acknowledging these awards in any way. A surefire bet to "help them change their minds" is voting overwhelmingly for BTS's nominations in all categories (as always). But PLEASE don't watch the actual show. Those ratings are what they actually want, so even pass it along to your friends how they could help. Let's not let this happen on our watch, Army!
Let us know if there any other good options you've seen, please. And we'll definitely pass it along.

Are you a fan?
A fan is...
Tumblr media
No No No! This is not the fan that we’re talking here!
Today, we’ll discuss on the fan as in a fandom!
A fan (noun) is someone who admired and obsessed with a particular celebrity, band, star, film and TV show where they will get themselves involve in fandom or fan activism (Hills 2002).
Do you consider yourself a fan if you didn’t involve in fandom?
Why not? I can be a fan even if I doesn’t involve in fandom.
Fan clubs do exist on social media such as Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr and YouTube. Yet, you do not need to become an official member to be a fan apparently (Kleefeld 2017). For example, an individual wearing merchandise as in t-shirt, cap or bracelet proclaiming his or her fan interest such as “I’m part of this fandom. I’m an A.R.M.Y.” (BTS fans’ name), going to Shawn Mendes’ concert or participating in Lakers’ message boards, none of that is necessary to be a fan. With that said, there is no rules and no exact process to join or leave a fandom. On the contrary, Kleefeld (2017) noted that a person keeping his or her fan interest to his or herself, separated from others, then that person is not part of the fandom but still considered as a fan. Therefore, you are still considered as a fan even if you do not involve in fandom.
My own experience as a fan:
Everyone sure has an idol or a fan of a team or band, so do I!
I’m a fan of Taylor Swift. I’m a Swiftie since 2009. She’s gorgeous, she’s cute and she’s talented. She’s just like a sister to me that taught me many things through her songs. I was once a girl with low self-esteem, she taught me to be Fearless, taught me to Speak Now when I faced any difficulties in life to the person that I trust (my parents and confidant) and the latest song Lover taught me to care and love my beloved one more. In 2010, I bought the “Red” album and I bought the “Speak Now” album in 2012. I kept listening to the songs by looping it while I’m studying that time and that gave me motivation and strength to study.
Tumblr media
Has fan activism gone too far?
It is so exciting to see your idol performing on the stage and have the latest album that you purchased signed; it is so motivating and entertaining when you can interact with your idol be it in person or through YouTube Live; you’ll always follow the current trend of your idol such as what brands your idol use, what type of fashion style they are wearing recently and what is your idol’s latest songs or newly released video about your idol’s life. Yet, what if an individual or a group of fan is too obsess with their idol? What will happen when fan activism gone too far?
In my viewpoint, being an obsess fan leads to the imagination that an individual is being in love with the idol, that he or she will start to think of the idol more often, think of touching the idol or search for the idol’s address, which in other words, stalking. According to Tiffany (2017), an obsessive fan will feel disappointed when the idol does not reply messages or does not agree to meet up, which then makes the idol feel irritated when an obsess fan keep on writing letter or text his or her idol until he or she gets a reply. When there is rejection, an obsess fan might not think rationally and even has no self-control. For example, sexual harassment, cyberbully that leads to long-term depression of the idol, or even killing of idol due to multiple rejection may happen when fan activism gone too far. As an illustration, the video below shows one of the K-pop star, Sulli’s suicide case due to depression caused by obsess fans.

WTH is kitty gang?
i had to google it myself because i didn’t know but this is what urban dictionary tells us:
Biker gang kitty was a nickname given to Park Jimin of BTS. The name was given to him by k-diamonds. Jimin's haircut and outfit make him look like he’s in a biker gang, but his pink hair and general cuteness make him look a kitty, and voilà.
now what are k-diamonds, you wonder? fear no more, urban dictionary has your back once again:
A term of endearment coined by international BTS fans as a nickname for the Korean A.R.M.Y (bts' fan club name).

PSA ON BTS IN SAIPAN SUMMER PACKAGE 2018
I'm seeing a lot of videos, gifs, and posts about the I.B.A part of the summer package when V calls Jungkook '친구'/chingu and how Jungkook supposedly reacts aggressively/Jungkook's reaction proves TaeKook is real/Jungkook's reaction shows they're not really friends, etc.
친구 is a term used with same aged friends and the closeness of the friendship.
Meaning, V and Jimin are 친구 because they were both born in 1995. RM and Jhope are 친구 because they were both born in 1994. Jin and Suga are hyung and dongsaeng, not 친구, because Jin was born in 92 and Suga in 93.
V calling Jungkook 친구 was more of a slip of the tongue (which goes with the later part of his statement when he says Jungkook sits and listens to his problems. This is what a friend does, this is what he has said Jimin does. So, it might have meant he feels like they're the same age.)
Jungkook's reaction was more of surprise because he knows they're not 친구 with V being born 2 years before him. (If you look at past videos, for example, the one when they're playing with the lie detector, BTS says, It's true you don't have any 친구 and Jungkook slightly nods. At the time, because he grew with BTS and they were working so much, he didn't have any idol friends who were the same age as him. Until he started hanging out with Got7's Yugyeom. Now, a bunch of 97liners have their own group chat. (The group chat apparently has an "inappropriate" name 🤷)
He was teasing V. It's why the rest of BTS were laughing too. It's also why he continued and spoke in 반만 or infornal language when he said, I'm keeping an eye on you, when V tried to continue and said he'd be introducing Jungkook to A.R.M.Y. Same aged friends or 친구 don't have the level of speech formality as with people who are older or younger than them.
And, honestly, V has slipped a few times and called Jungkook hyung and we all know Jungkook is not older than V.
I'm done. Sorry. The misinformation/misinterpretation was really bothering me.

‘22  Week #8  GAME-BY-GAME
GAME OF THE WEEK
(#1) Team#3 (5-0) @ (#3) Sorry-ass Champs (4-1)
Why?:  Didn’t want to...but it is #1 vs #3...and 21-19...
Why not?:  May not be that competitive a game.
“What?  You didn’t want to make this the game of the week?” - Nope…  This game is here mostly out of league interest, but really is a mis-match of opposites.  The first meeting was of interest to see what product Team Clap would place on the field. Eventhough they got the win, they are basically Waskilly Weasels Lite.  Team#3 is a one-dimensional finesse team.  No run attack...no dedication to the run…no execution of the run...no production in the run department…and with a QB that can’t read defenses and has problems holding on to a regulation size ball, hence the need to deflate it, it could get ugly.  The first game showed how limited the offense was.  If you count on busted coverages to move the ball/score...that’s not really a sustainable formula for success. That’ll work against weak regular season match-ups but play-off teams will be more organized come post season.  Defensively, they are just a warm jelly donut, all squishy in the middle.  Relying on speed and numbers off the edge, as they have to play clean as they are unable to take on blocks with physicality or disengage.  Their Linebackers are really just safeties playing off the edges that are guessing more than reading. This defense works better when teams are playing from behind or in obvious passing downs where they can just pin their ears back and get after the QB.  In short, this team is not as good or dynamic as the A.R.M.Y. they replaced.
The Sorry-ass champs came out last time with a new offense and a less than energetic effort...or put it in more simple terms...”about as $#!tty as you could be”…  They moved the ball but turned it over in the redzone several times, had DBs completely out of place, had a blocked punt for score, a missed extra point, etc...and yet they still had a chance at the win.  Nothing special on the Clapbacks side...but half the teams in the league coulda got that win.  If they had played anywhere near to their normal selves, that game would have not been that close.  I really don’t see them playing that bad again...
The Computer:  Payback...22-12...
Cheez Pick:  Glads 26-20...
Homer Mixon:
My take: Yeah...mistakes corrected...#and still...
Picks:

Game #2
(#14) ‘Mercans (2-3) @ (#13) Cow Puppies (1-4)*
  Why?:  Probably most competitive...
Why not?:  Didn’t say it would be good football...
Two teams with definite weaknesses and probably incapable of exploiting most of the other’s weaknesses.  In the end this might look like two drunks three minutes into a fight where they are stumbling around and leaning on each other as they throw tired, halfhearted punches while slurring unintelligible curses at each other.  Both have depth issues...both have suffered from poor tackling...both have had problems sustaining drives.  The biggest differences?  The Bull-pups have had more dynamic plays out of their QB...especially with his mobility.  The Red, White & Blue crew has had a lil’ more success with their “traditional” run game. But most importantly, the Bull-pups have an actual win against a team that should make the play-offs…
The Computer:  Home team squeaks it out...16-14...
Cheez Pick:  Cowpups...18-16...
Homer Mixon:
My take: Home field makes the difference...
Picks:

Game #3
(#4) Mee-Ah-Mee Raid (4-1) @ (#8) Pee-Rats (2-4)
Why?:  See how the Raid do when they step up in competition
Why not?:  Sparties didn’t do well against Pee-Rats...
This is the first time these two have met since they both debuted in 2017 in their inaugural game.  The Raid pulled an 18-3 win on the road and than went 8-2 while the Pee-Rats finished 3-7...and both got dumped out of the play-offs in their first game.
The Silver, Black & <insert color here> have avenged their only loss of the year and get a measuring stick game this week…  The Pee-Rats have done nothing inside their division but they have blown out the Sparties…  If the Raid has a close game or also lose, we can write the South off as also-rans this year.  They have discovered their run game and should put it to use against the undermanned scalawags but the passing chances will be there as well.  Ball security is the one fault they have to avoid and really the only way I see them losing if “they travel”…
The Scurvy-crew will be glad to finally play someone other than Clap-backs and Sorry-ass Champs.  They are undefeated outside their division...and against the South…  The catch is that is only one game...lol…  Pee-rats Offense has to be patient and fortuitous...while the defense will have to buck-up against the run and avoid giving up the explosive long passes.  If and when the Raid force the ball into coverage deep down field, they need to come away with it.
The Computer:  Raid keep the roll going 37-21...
Cheez Pick:  Raid 28-13
Homer Mixon:
My take:  I think it will be much closer...
Picks:
***
Game #4
(#15) My Lil’ Ponies (1-3) @ (#10) Carebears (2-3)
(#15) My Lil’ Ponies (1-3) @ (#2) Du-vowel Raid (4-0)
Why?:  The Battle for Georgia...Part I...
Why not?:  it is Georgia...
The Battle of Georgia…  Last year’s UGA Red & Black game was much anticipated…  UGA vs South Carolina...meh…  UGA vs GA Tech...not so much…  And this game?...not at all…
Georgia North has been a hot mess and arguably the worst team in the league.  Their offense averages only 5pts a game...only Fish have been worse… and the Defense gives up 33.8ppg...again being barely edged out by the Fish...  But they do hold one top spot...most points given up...71-0…  So the expectations for the team “that is really from South Carolina” is pretty low…
The South Georgia team have enough offense for this game...slow body punches will wear out the Ponies...they just have to hold on to the ball…  Defensively?...turn the cap on backward and punch the gas...
The Computer:  Furry-ones out-muscle the Ponies...41-16... Raid 48-0
Cheez Pick:  Raid...35-6...
Homer Mixon:
My take:  Yep...Grizzled-ones... Raid...
Picks:
***
Game #5
(#12) Reaps (2-3) @ (#5) Waskily Weasels (3-1)
Why?:  Old Rivalry and top two teams in the division...
Why not?:  Has not been all that competitive...as part one was 34-0...
First of all...last week was the Week of donuts...and the Original Donut Boys were not involved...oh such cruel irony.  But being left out of the fun seems to be a trend.  Week #2 saw these two meet each other for the 13th time...and another Waskily win...34-0…  My analysis then has not changed to now…  The Reaps are their own worst enemy and not as explosive or dynamic as the Weasels…  While the Weasels will jump out to a lead and do what they do best...take front-running and force other teams to play catch-up…
The Computer:  Weasels keep the streak alive...36-3
Cheez Pick:  Weasels...30-12
Homer Mixon:
My take: ...a lil’ more scoring by Reaps...less by the weasels...but the Weasels still win...
Picks:
***
Game #6
  (#9) Aud-i-Bulls (2-2)  @ (#11) Flat Fish (0-6)
Why?:  In the past...these two have had some close games
Why not?:  ...combined 2-8...
This would be the fourth meeting...all of them Quot-A-Bull wins…   But other than the first blowout...40-0, last years 24-12 & 6-0 were closer than most people expected.  This game could be sneaky competitive.
After BSing their two division games...they found themselves in the basement...a first since 2004 this late in the season.  For the 2nd time in three years they are sitting at .500.  Not the Horned-ones that your used to.  They’ve hit the panic button and put out the call to bring some of the ol’ Bulls back.  But unless they are greatly improve over last year, shoulda just left them out in the pasture.  They get a team that can’t score...can’t stop the score...and can’t get a win…  So if they stumble here, and the game stays close...the joking about how they should’ve just retire last year will be deafening…
For the Fishies, they have the history of playing the Horned-ones close, get to be home and have no pressure on them.  The Quot-a-Bull running attack is making anyone sleepless at night and as long as they can keep the Receivers in front of them, they have a chance to win.
The Computer:  Computer thinks Aud-i-Bulls will come out on a mission...37-3...
Cheez Pick:  Horned-ones 33-8
Homer Mixon:
My take:  I think it will be closer...especially for a half...
Picks:
***

w9 - Fandom
The state or condition of being a fan of someone or something is referred to as fandom. For example, we use the term fandom to describe a group of people who adore a particular celebrity, hero, sports team, television show, or a variety of other things.
What? Any examples ma?
Tumblr media
Take the Korean male Kpop group, BTS for an example. The fan group of BTS is known as the BTS Army. The team "A.R.M.Y" stands for "Adorable Representative M.C. for Youth," and it has a lot of meaning behind it. Because "Army" is associated with the military, body armor, and how those two things are always together, the fandom name basically means that fans will always be with BTS.
Some hardcore "fans" go crazy about it
Tumblr media
Beware jumping on the BTS bandwagon; the group's toxic fan “A.R.M.Y.” might wage war on you. Even if you say some bad things about the BTS K-pop group in the most formal way possible, those toxic fans will come at you. Toxic fans, on the other hand, are the abusive party in an abusive relationship with the content they enjoy. That is, they aren't there to celebrate it; rather, they are there to control and negate it. Fans who are toxic can also be abusive to other fans.
But still, Fandom can be a good thing too la
Tumblr media
The BTS K-pop group had help raised 1 million dollar for the racial justice organization Black Lives Matter. It helps create and raising awareness to their fellow fans and be aware of what is happening around the world too. "We are moved by the generosity of BTS and allies all over the world who stand in solidarity in the fight for Black lives." Inspired by the group's action, the BTS Army set a #MatchAMillion goal and made it happen with donations to BLM that surpassed $1 million.
So last but not least
Fandom can be good and bad as well. We as a fan towards our idols or whatsoever have to be careful and not misuse it. I believe all these celebrities or idols have their own responsibilities to "tame" these toxic fans. That will slowly lead others to hate that particular group of celebrities or idols because of those toxic fans.

Who's A.R.M.Y?
You might answer "I'm ARMY" and every BTS member would agree with you. If you give all seven members, your love and support, you are A.R.M.Y!
A.R.M.Y has been with BTS from the very beginning. On July 19, 2013, a month after their debut, the members announced the name of their fanclub. The acronym A.R.M.Y stands for,
Adorable Representative M. C for Youth.
BTS' Korean name is 방탄서년단 (bangtansonyeondan), and it means Bulletproof Boy Scouts. To keep their theme/concept of bulletproof, they used the logo of the bulletproof vest worn by the military.
ARMY is military in English. Their army of fans will always stand with BTS and support each another.
You may ask, " What does the " M.C" stand for?". The term “MC” for rappers means Master of Ceremony. MC, (or Emcee) a skilled rapper. But, it could also mean we (ARMY) are the spokesperson for BTS and all they represent. We are the ones who control the microphone thus, we can speak the loudest.
And we do! The members have often said, without ARMY there would be no BTS. But, if there were no BTS, we wouldn't be ARMY.
The boys have grown into men, and ARMY has grown too. In numbers and in our ages. We aren't just made up of youth.
We do have a very powerful voice. With this power, comes responsibility. How will you use your voice to support BTS?  Will you be the positive MC?
We will continue this conversation another day. Thanks for reading and sharing.

No More Dream - Lyric Review
Tumblr media
If you’ve been an A.R.M.Y (official term for BTS fans) long enough, you’ll know by now that socially conscious lyrics are the trademark of BTS. It’s even more appealing since the members themselves, pen down the lyrics. Since day one, they’ve always made sure their songs deliver a message or touch upon taboo subjects. Their lead single ‘No more dream’ from their debut album, ‘2 Cool 4 Skool’ is one of my favorite songs by BTS - and that’s saying something - not only for it’s catchy tune but also because of it’s hard-hitting lyrics.
RM starts off the song by asking us, “Hey you, What’s your dream?”
Now, if you were back to being a kid, you would have replied with something preposterous since we all believed the notion ‘You can be anything you want’ religiously. But our older and more mature selves, know it’s easier said than done and hence, we settle for having success, lots of money and a comfortable life instead.
In the first verse, Suga mocks this mentality of ours, as he raps:
“I wanna big house, big cars & big rings But actually, I don’t have any big dreams Haha, I live quite comfortably Even if I don’t dream, no one says anything”
RM takes over from there, rapping:
“Everyone is thinking the same way as me I completely forgot about my childhood when I had a lot of dreams Don’t worry about college, I’ll at least go to a school that’s far away”
The last line holds a lot of weight as we’re all conditioned to believe that if we graduate from a good college, our life will be sorted out. Sometimes, it’s not about the benefits that come with studying in a prestigious college, but it’s about the honorary status that comes with it. RM ridicules this belief. In the pre-chorus, V and J-hope ask us if this is really how we want to live our lives? They urge us to live the way we want, even if we live for one day.
“What is the you that you’ve dreamed of? Who do you see in the mirror? I gotta say Go on your path, even if you live for a day Do something, put away your weakness”
But, perhaps my most favorite part of the song is Jungkook’s verse:
“Why aren’t you saying anything? You don’t wanna study but you’re scared to quit school? See, you’re already getting ready for school Please grow up, you’re all talk dude, you have a glass mentality boy (Stop) Ask yourself if you’ve ever worked hard for anything”
The lyrics hit very close to home for me as I’ve been afraid to do my own thing, in the past. I was afraid of failure so I choose the safe way instead of pursuing something I was passionate about. A lot of people can relate to this as well, and I know a few of my friends who hate what they do too, but they still continue because they think they can’t do any better. Some people on the other hand, live for someone else’s dream. They force down their own dreams and try to live up to their parent’s or an elder’s expectations.
“Sick of the same day, the repeating days Grown-ups and my parents keep instilling confined dreams to me”
BTS understands all of this and they know everything that’s wrong with the education system. Each line of this song is meant to comfort the youth and remind them of their dreams. You could also say, this song is meant to be an anthem for all those who are struggling to find their own way. Life is too fleeting to be following someone else’s path and regretting it later. Even if you’re afraid and unsure, you should follow your heart. It sounds cliche right? But since I’m being cliche, I’ll throw out another one: Hard work will always pay off in the end. So let’s listen to Jin and rebel against the norms. Lets us go on our own path.
“That’s a lie, you such a liar See me, see me, ya you’re a hypocrite Why are you telling to go a different path? Take care of yourself Please don’t force me”
This song is one of the most inspirational songs by BTS and it deserves so much more recognition. So, if you haven’t watched the music video yet, check it out below!

What Makes BTS Special
The first time I really saw a BTS video was in 2016 when they released Blood, Sweat, & Tears. I remember thinking that there was something special about them as a group, even if I didn’t become a real fan until later on. The choreography was incredible, their vocal and rapping talent were distinctive, and the video as a whole was unlike anything I had seen at the time. After that, I didn’t think too much about it. I then saw some performances,  the music video for “Spring Day,” and then “DNA” later that year. Though I wasn’t fully invested at the time, those were some of my favorite music videos. I knew for a while, but it became clear then that they were definitely a group to watch.
Now that I’m an “A.R.M.Y.” (which is what they call their fans), I realize there is so much that truly makes BTS special and sets them apart from so many other artists and groups. Let’s start with the members. Those who make up BTS—RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—all have unique personalities which I feel like contribute to a big part of why they resonate with fans. They are often relatable and open, which makes it easy for people to understand them and see themselves as similar to them on some level. BTS releases a lot of videos of themselves, from behind-the-scenes content to episodes of the many shows they’ve had, and this really gives the audience a feel of who they are as individuals and as a group.
Considering their talent, BTS is on a whole different level. At first, I wasn’t sure what I was getting into when I clicked on their videos. However, after just a performance or two, it’s hard not to get hooked. They have commanding stage presence thanks to their dancing and performing skills. Honestly, it’s too bad we can’t watch all seven of them at the same time because they all bring something of their own to every performance. In terms of their singing and rapping abilities, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed. They constantly improve and experiment with different music styles, making everything they release interesting and fresh. Really, they could release an entire album of them just talking, and I’d still listen. But their vocals span a wide range: some of their songs calm me, others bring me happiness or get me excited and on my feet.
They were also very involved in the album-making process of their most-recent album, BE. From directing music videos or visuals to writing and producing the music, the band took a lot of initiative in this album’s creation process. BE was highly anticipated after the huge success of their song “Dynamite” this year, and they do not disappoint. There’s really something for everyone on the album, as it ranges from EDM to Pop to R&B, etc. That’s something else that I feel sets them apart: they try so many different things, and they offer something for all of their fans to fall in love with.
The biggest reason I think BTS is special is because of how authentic and genuine they are. It’s clear that they are actually like family to one another, and they never try to hide that fact. Since they are comfortable with each other, they produce entertaining and fun-to-watch content. More than that, they genuinely care about their fans. They always do what they can to support the A.R.M.Y. and often express their love towards the fandom. BTS has always spread important messages, one of their biggest being to love yourself. This has helped a lot of people—even myself—feel confident and gain self-love.
If you have not listened to their music or watched any of their videos, I highly recommend it. They really have something for everyone and every mood you might be in. I don’t doubt that you’ll see what makes them one of the biggest artists in the world. If anything, I think after seeing them only a handful of times, it’s easy to see what makes them special.
